This research aims to describe the general speed profile and the specific speed of the athletes of the achievement Pencak silat club (PSP). The method used in this study is a non-experimental quantitative method with a quantitative descriptive approach. The sample of this study amounted to 20 athletes of Pencak silat achievement Pencak silat club (PSP). The data collection technique in this study uses a Pencak silat parameter test (Lubis, J & Wardoyo, 2016), a general speed test using a running speed test as far as 20 meters, while a particular speed test using a sabit kick speed test for 10 seconds. The data processing technique uses a percentage for each classification with a formula (Anas Sudijono, n.d.). This study found results with a rate of 5% of achievement Pencak silat club athletes have the excellent classification, and 95% have a little variety in available speed through a 20-meter running speed test. In comparison, a remarkable speed 10% have the perfect classification, and 90% have good classification through tests Sabit kick speed for 10 seconds. The researcher concludes that the physical component of velocity is a crucial component to be improved in supporting achievement, both speed in general and speed specifically according to the needs of the sport of Pencak silat.

The impact of covid-19 has caused learning methods to change to online learning. The purpose of this study was to measure new students' perceptions of online learning. This study uses survey methods and data collection in the form of an instrument with a Likert scale. The purposive sampling technique was chosen with the criteria of new students from the class of 2020 with a sample of 132 respondents. Analysis of quantitative data using descriptive statistics and qualitative data using summary analysis of the results. Furthermore, the triangulation process method was used to combine quantitative data and qualitative data. The results showed that new students did not experience difficulties in carrying out online learning. The majority of FIK students use CeoLMS. The theory and assistance courses are subjects that are considered difficult by students, but the material presented by the student lecturers is satisfied. The obstacle that often occurs is signal stability, but the effectiveness of online learning can run well, although there must be several aspects that must be improved. The implications of this research can be used as a basis for evaluating learning so that FIK can improve the quality of online learning in the next academic year.

Technological developments in various fields are the key to progress in the digital era. The utilization of technology-based learning media in education makes learning more interactive and supports independent learning. This study aims to develop and test the practicality and effectiveness of storyline-based nervous system e-comics media to support students' independent learning. This research uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with the Lee & Owen model, consisting of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research was conducted with the subjects in this study, class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Malang students, totalling 60 people. A pre-experimental design of one group pretest-posttest was used to test the effectiveness of the media. Data were collected through questionnaires and tests. The media validation results obtained 100%, material validation 100%, and student response results 98.7% in the class trial. The effectiveness test used a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The results showed a significant difference between the posttest of both classes with Sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 <0.05, there is a significant difference between the control and experimental classes. Storylinebased nerve e-comic media can facilitate independent learning more interestingly and interactively.

The number of Joglo houses in existence has decreased in recent years. Any effort to conserve the remaining Joglo depends on the behavior of the dwellers in maintaining and utilizing Joglo properly. People who have stronger levels of place attachment tend to support conserving that place. Place attachment can be explained in three dimensions: the person, the place, and the psychological process. This study explores the attachment of the dwellers to their Joglo by using PLS-PM analysis to understand the relationships among these dimensions. The results show that the person and place dimensions have a positive effect on each of the aspects of the dimension of psychological process, but not all dimensions have a significant effect and the effect of each dimension varies. The evaluation of the model concludes that it has a high ability to explain the empirical conditions of the dweller’s place attachment to their Joglo.

Employability skills are the skills that a person must have to get a job, stay in work, and be able to achieve success in their career. This study aims to develop a model of specific employability skills framework for machine operators. The research design used is the mixed methods, a study that combines the quantitative and qualitative methods and convergent parallel strategy in the data mixing process. The research finding is 14 identified frameworks of employability skills, including (1) basic skills: communicating, listening; (2) self-quality: attendance, collaboration, responsibility, honesty, flexibility, empathy; (3) thinking skills: creativeness, problem-solving; (4) management: self-management, planning; (5) system and technology: production flow system, and mastery of job field concept. Industries demand that basic skills have to be possessed by machine operators to be and self-quality as the priority to recruited as prospective skilled workers. Thinking skills, management, and system and technology are better if developed in their future workplace.

Management of physical test result for adolescent pencak silat category in the current state is done manually so that it is prone to make errors and takes a long time which causes the data processing of test results to be less effective and efficient. This study aims to determine the needs of trainers for software to managing the physical results of adolescent pencak silat fighting category. The research method used is descriptive. Subjects involved in this study amounted to 6 trainers with certified trainer criteria, had accompanied competing athletes and academics who possessed theoretical and practical pencak silat knowledge. Data collection using was a questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive statistics. The results of this study show that: the trainer had held physical exercises and physical tests for pencak silat. Physical tests conducted use the composition of adolescent pencak silat test match category. To run a simple test process, a physical pencak silat physical test guide is needed, together with norms for the assessment of test results. The results of physical tests that have been carried out are used to evaluate physical conditions and determine the training program. In order for the process of managing physical test results to be more effective and efficient, it is necessary to obtain the software for processing the results of adolescent pencak silat physical tests in match category. The conclusion of this research is there is a need of software for managing the physical test results of adolescent pencak silat in the fighting category.

SMS (Short Message Service) is one of the data exchange features in cellphones, including Android smartphones, which are the most widely used smartphone platforms today. However, the security of the SMS is questionable because the message sent must pass through a third party frist, namely SMSC (Short Message Service Center), so that message can be tapped or misused. One of the ways to reduce this risk is to encrypt or keep the original message secret by applying the cryptography algorithm. This research is to develop a system that serves to encrypt and decrypt SMS for Android-based smartphone users. The application is created to encrypt dan decrypt SMS using the Java programming language on Android, that is applied to smartphone integrated with Android Studio and used RSA cryptography algorithm. The application can be used to encrypt and decrypt SMS using the RSA algorithm on the Android-based smartphone. This application can send an SMS with a size of 86 characters and using QR Code to exchange the public key.

Background: Stroke is a disease caused by disruption of blood flow to areas of the brain that are blocked in the cerebral or cervical arteries which result in decreased or even loss of function controlled by brain tissue. Rehabilitation therapy plays an important role in a comprehensive restoration of bodily functions due to stroke, this program aims to restore function to reduce disability, one of the treatments is to use acupuncture meridian points. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of acupuncture meridian points in increasing muscle strength in stroke patients. Methods: The research design used in this study was a randomized controlled trial (RCT) design. The number of samples of all stroke patients at the Holistic nursing therapy clinic in Probolinggo and the Healer School Jember Clinic that met the inclusion criteria from October 2020 to March 2021 were 270 respondents. Entering the 4.0 era, innovation and learning development are needed as well in the world of refereeing, development is intended to make it easier and help to reduce mistakes in leading matches. This study aims to develop lectora inspire which will be used in martial art refinement. This type of research is a research and development (R&D) research. The subjects of this study use a small scale with a total of 10 students from the Department of Physical Education, Health and Recreation, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Riau. Meanwhile, the analysis technique used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The results of the research on the development tools of lectora inspire on martial art refinement are good, this is explained from the results of the validation of the content/material aspects with an average score of 4.29, the learning aspects are categorized as good with an average score of 4.34, the programming aspects and the media aspects have good categories. From the results of small group trials conducted by 10 subjects, data are obtained and it is concluded that the Lectora Inspire application is in good category with an average score of 4.32 and is able to be applied in learning martial art refinement. These results are intended to make it easier and help to reduce errors in the referee's assignment when serving on a small scale. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the development of learning media for refereeing martial art by utilizing lectora inspire is suitable for use as a medium in learning audio-visual based martial art on a small scale.

The development of portable ladder drills as a medium for agility training has never been touched once. The ladder drill tool's mobile concept will make it easier for the trainer to use the device with a variety of varied agility training movements and can be used in more sports. Based on this, the research is carried out in an effort to make portable ladder drill training media that is useful as a medium for agility training. This research uses research and development level 3 methods. Product trials are conducted in three types, that is one on one practices with four respondents, small group trials worked with five respondents athletes, students majoring in Sports Education FKIP Universitas Riau, and large-scale tests. They work on 11 athletes KONI and Dispora Riau Province. The data analysis technique used in this research is the quantitative descriptive analysis technique. Furthermore, data collection techniques use a questionnaire (questionnaire). The results of this study indicate that: assessments made by material experts, media experts, one-on-one trials, small-scale trials, and large-scale trials are above 83 percent. Based on this study results, it can be concluded that the development of portable ladder drills is declared feasible as a medium to increase agility by sports actors. Considering that this development still has shortcomings, future research recommendations are related to providing cheaper and more functional product materials in terms of equipment installation efficiency.

Determining the learning model in teaching and learning activities will help students succeed, especially in physical education lessons. A Teacher is demanded to choose the right learning model according to the needs field need suitable for a pupil's characteristic. This research aims to find out determine differences between the learning model of inquiry and direct instruction on learning outcomes of discus throw. The subject of the study is students of grade ninth in State Junior High School three Pekanbaru. The research method is an experiment in which each group is fifteen students in inquiry learning models and indirect instruction models. The in research was t, the instrument discus throw, which consists of holding the discus, approaching, throwing, and following through. The T-test is an analysis technique of the data in this study by presenting two different learning groups. The result of the use of products learning outcomes of discus throwing on students of grade ninth at state junior high school three Pekanbaru by implementing inquiry learning models and direct instruction in learning of discus throw. The inquiry learning model in this study showed better results than direct instruction. The gain of students' average value contributed 13.5, whereas the average value of students in direct instruction was 12.0. Therefore, it can be concluded that the inquiry learning model is better to be implemented for the learning of physical education, especially on discus throw lesson than the implementation of direct instruction in State Junior High School three Pekanbaru.

Acid neutralizing capacity (ANC) is one of the important factor on effectivity determination of antacid dosage forms. Antacid dosage forms have different values depend on their ANC. The objective of this research was to modified physical and chemical properties of hydrotalcite which can increase its acid neutralization capacity. Hydrotalcite was treated by freeze drying and calcination at different temperature 100, 200, 300, and 500°C. This hydrotalcite was characterized by X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM); and was determined acid neutralization capacity. The results showed that acid neutralization capacity of hydrotalcite increased after it was freeze dried and calcined at 200, 300 and 500 °C. The result of XRD for the hydrotalcite calcined at 200 °C have showed the lower intensity of peaks, whereas the calcination at 300 and 500 °C were disappeared and appeared new peaks at different 2θ.

Dalam bidang pendidikan dasar, matematika merupakan sebuah pelajaran dasar dan fundamental. Namun, banyak peserta didik yang tidak menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap mata pelajaran ini. Untuk itulah diperlukan inovasi dalam pembelajaran, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan game edukasi.Puzzle adalah game dengan aturan yang sederhana, mudah dimengerti dan dapat merangsang kemampuan matematika. Sedangkan RPG adalah game yang alurnya variatif, interaktif dan dapat meningkatkan ketertarikan pemain. Puzzle RPG adalah penggabungan kedua jenis game tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan mengukur efektivitas game dari ketiga jenis game tersebut sebagai sarana belajar matematika pada tingkat sekolah dasar (kelas 1-3).Keefektifan game edukasi dilihat dari peningkatan hasil belajar yang diperoleh setelah dilakukan percobaan. Untuk mengetahui jenis game manakah yang paling efektif adalah dengan cara membandingkan peningkatan hasil belajar setelah meggunakan ketiga game tersebut. Analisis perbandingan akan dilakukan dengan uji perbedaan menggunakan ANOVA dan uji lanjut menggunakan scheffe.Hasil percobaan menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar pada game puzzle RPG sebesar 53,9%, game RPG sebesar 41,7% dan game puzzle sebesar 33,9%. Setelah dilakukan uji ANOVA, didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada ketiga hasil tersebut. Untuk mengetahui perbedaan pada masing-masing game dilakukan uji scheffe dan didapatkan hasil bahwa hanya hasil belajar antara game puzzle dan puzzle RPG saja yang perbedaannya signifikan. Kesimpulannya, berdasarkan peningkatan hasil belajar, game puzzle RPG memiliki pengaruh terbesar. Berdasarkan uji lanjut dan perbandingan, game berjenis puzzle RPG hanya lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan game puzzle, dan tidak jauh berbeda dibandingkan dengan game RPG. Given the absence of expertise criteria of academics or lecturers, we sought to explore relevant studies to formulate an informed framework of academic expertise. Academics at higher education institutions are often considered experts. Usually, academic roles comprise teaching, research, and community service. Therefore, academics' expertise should be assessed based on these roles. However, no specific criteria are currently available to address this issue. At the moment, various attempts have been directed to measure academic competence. However, it should be understood that competence and expertise require different levels of mastery of knowledge and skill acquisition. Because many scholars have argued that competence is insufficient to handle present and future challenges, developing an assessment tool for academic expertise is imperative. We aim to develop standards for identifying and determining academic expertise as a novel attempt to develop that tool. To do so, we examined the well-defined expertise theory of General Expertise Measurement (GEM) and refined it specifically for academics. A systematic review of the existing literature was conducted to identify the criteria aligning with the academic expertise. These criteria were then validated by experts to determine their significance and relevance in assessing the academic expertise. The findings revealed that several criteria emerged as highly significant and relevant for assessing academic expertise. These criteria include knowledge, experience, problem-solving abilities, skill analysis, collaboration, communication, engagement with the community, educational background, continuous improvement, intuition, recognition, research aptitude, training, understanding of the context, and self-confidence.

Insomnia is one of the most common co-occurring disorders in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The purpose of this cross-sectional cohort study of 270 children with ASD was to assess the prevalence of insomnia using the Pediatric Sleep Clinical Global Impression Scale and to correlate sleep problems with cognitive level, adaptive behavior, parental stress, behavioral and emotional problems, and severity of core symptoms. Our findings revealed that one-third of children had insomnia and were related to reduced adaptive behaviors and higher levels of parental stress and behavioral and emotional problems. Insomnia must be evaluated in children with ASD to define an appropriate intervention to potentially alleviate the severity of clinical correlates and parental burden.

The use of antibiotics in developed countries 13-37% and 30-80% in developing countries. Inappropriate use of antibiotics around 40-62%. The cause of this multifactorial resistance in patients with Pseudomonas resistance to antibiotics through four mechanisms. Therefore, definitive therapy based on local patterns of bacteria and sensitivity test on pneumonia issued by the Department of Microbiology Clinic. Based on the data, antibiotic Piperacillin-tazobactam 4 4, 5 grams are then administered. The results of the evaluation of clinical, radiological and laboratory showed significant improvements in patients.

Problem-solving skills are advantageous when resolving complicated and multidimensional challenges. Problem-solving skills can be developed through active learning models that engage students in the learning process. One active learning model is RICOSRE. The main focus of RICOSRE is problem-solving activities in (1) reading; (2) identifying the problem; (3) constructing the solution; (4) solving the problem; (5) reviewing the solution; and (6) extending the solution. The purpose of this study was to assess the ongoing development of problem-solving skills of students with upper, middle, and lower academic abilities at the Department of Biology Education in a state university in Indonesia. This study employed a concurrent embedded mixed-methods design. The repeated-measures ANOVA was used to test the hypothesis for the quantitative data, and NVivo 12 was utilized to analyze the qualitative data. The participants' problem-solving skills were determined by their responses to items on RICOSRE-integrated worksheets. The students' responses were graded using a validated and reliable problem-solving rubric. The findings indicated that the students' problem-solving skills improved consistently in the upper, middle, and lower academic groups that were taught by implementing RICOSRE.

This study used the verbal protocol method to examine differences in perceptions of spatial mental imagery between students and studio lecturers and between clients and designers/architects, which lead to interpretational bias between groups of respondents regarding interior spaces. Individual perceptions of virtual space dimensions were captured by the 3D application, Associative Words Generator© (AWG©), which revealed impressions of the four respondent groups, using associative concept networks analysis on the visualization of virtual space with a database of 16,200 associative words. This study determined AWG© reduced the visual discrepancy gap during design critic and design consultation. Comparison of the results of the associative words generated during non-VR mental imagery and the VR session (AWG©) indicated that the student group most effectively used the VR. The lecturer group exhibited a thorough understanding of interior design and space architecture in their response in non-VR and VR sessions, which created a mental spatial imagery gap between the students and lecturers. The client group was inexperienced in interior design and architecture, resulting in different outcomes than the designer/architect group. In the VR session, the student and client groups more easily accepted visualizations generated by AWG, because they had fewer experiences and references than the lecturers and designers/architects, and thus, accepted the AWG virtual space visualization stimuli. The lecturer and designer/architect groups shared experiences that affected their expectations in responding to the generated visualizations, resulting in difficulty to accept the AWG virtual space visualization stimuli.

A thesis abstract is an essential part of a thesis since it represents the content of the thesis. In Indonesia, where the abstracts need to be translated into English, a number of translation errors may occur. This study aims at analysing the translation errors in the thesis abstracts and classify the errors into major and minor errors. The data were collected from the undergraduate theses of the Communication Science Department students, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Airlangga. The results show a total of 128 errors, where 79 of them (61.7%) are major errors. In the major error types, the most frequent error type is the Experientially Inaccurate translation (21.1%), followed by the Logically Inaccurate translation (11.7%), and the Interpersonally Inadequate translation (11.7%). Meanwhile, the minor errors only comprise 38.3% (49 errors) of the total errors. The errors include the Minor Grammatical errors (36.7%) and Spelling errors (1.6%). Considering these numbers of errors, it is necessary to pay more attention to the translation of the thesis abstracts because they reflect the content of the theses.

Thymoma is the most common primary anterior mediastinum mass with various clinical manifestations, and one of the manifestations is pericardial effusion. While pericardial effusion in thymoma is usually serous, it can become purulent when an infection occurs in a nearby organ, albeit rare. In this report, we present a rare case of a 27-year-old woman who had purulent pericarditis secondary to an advanced thymoma. The patient came to the emergency department with the chief complaints of worsening chest discomfort, non-productive cough, and fever in the past 2 weeks. The patient was diagnosed with thymoma 5 months prior. Based on the examinations, it was discovered that the patient had pericarditis. After the pericardiocentesis was performed and the fluid was examined, the patient was diagnosed with purulent pericarditis secondary to thymoma. The patient was then treated with intravenous antibiotic and pericardial drain. Unfortunately, the patient's condition deteriorated, and the patient died on the fifth day of hospitalization. This case highlights an infrequent but potentially life-threatening complication of thymoma. In addition, thymic pathologies should be included as a rare etiology in the differential diagnosis of purulent pericardial effusion.

Since the introduction of the General Service List (GSL) in 1953, a number of studies have confirmed the significant role of a word list, particularly GSL, in helping ESL students learn English. Given the recent development in technology, several researchers have created word lists, each of them claims to provide a better coverage of a text and a significant role in helping students learn English. This article aims at analyzing the claims made by the existing word lists and proposing a method for selecting words and a creating a word list. The result of this study shows that there are differences in the coverage of the word lists due to the difference in the corpora and the source text analysed. This article also suggests that we should create our own word list, which is both personalized and comprehensive. This means that the word list is not just a list of words. The word list needs to be accompanied with the senses and the patterns of the words, in order to really help ESL students learn English.
