In a knowledge - based society, organizations undergo permanent changes and transformations, and the key factor of such changes is intellectual capital regarded as one of the most critical, yet most strategic values an organization might own. Analyzing intelectual capital and knowledge society over the last decades has primarily emerged in private companies, whereas at present there is an increasing concern in all the fields of activity. The goal of this paper is to emphasize the importance of intellectual capital as a source of innovation and novelty used to create competitive advantages for organizations in the era of knowledge where man must rely on intellect, intuition and creativity. The present paper is an exploratory endeavour based on the qualitative method as various information sources are resorted to in order to conceptualize the terms of intellectual capital and knowledge society: specialty literature, case studies, mass-media articles, reports of in-field organizations etc. Organizations should use all the tangible or non-tangible resources they have in order to secure their success and also to build a knowledge society which involves going a long way, based on an ample, complex process where innovation has a major role and a global nature.

Managers of economic organizations have at their disposal a large volume of information and practically facing an avalanche of information, but they can not operate studying reports containing detailed data volumes without a correlation because of the good an organization may be decided in fractions of time. Thus, to take the best and effective decisions in real time, managers need to have the correct information is presented quickly, in a synthetic way, but relevant to allow for predictions and analysis.This paper wants to highlight the solutions to extract knowledge from data, namely data mining. With this technology not only has to verify some hypotheses, but aims at discovering new knowledge, so that economic organization to cope with fierce competition in the market.

This paper presents some particularities of emerging markets that appear and develop as a result of growth and development tendency of international financial market. Excluding the option of remaining with the status of a "tired" economy, emerging markets had to react in the only way they could be rational, joining the global market. According to the quarterly report prepared by Ernst & Young - Rapid - Growth Markets Forecast (RGMF) the global economic recovery will be achieved through investments in infrastructure programs, especially in Asia, as well as increasing demand from the domestic consumers, which will lead to the balance of the pretty sensitive external environment, and emerging market economies will grow, most likely, by 5.6% in 2013. In a Europe of controversy, due to deep changes: economic, social and political crisis, current prospects of international and intercultural management find their best application in Europe's territory, continent also called the "nation - states" that developed over time and where we find a great cultural diversity influenced by a series of factors such as economic, social, cultural, religious etc. The aim of this article is to highlight the peculiarities and prospects of euromanagement on the European continent, of competitive economic mechanisms, freedoms, but also of restrictions imposed by decisional factors in obtaining economic performance.
