Objective To analyzed the hygienic test and benefit analysis of traditional sterilized hand towel and disposable sterile toilet paper before surgical hand disinfection. Methods From October 2021 to November 2021, the sanitary examination of surgeons and nurses after surgical hand disinfection was selected as the research object, and 100 people were selected according to different professional titles, including 50 doctors and 50 nurses, by self-control method. Control group: in the first week, traditional sterilized hand towels were used for hand-drying, and hygienic tests were performed after surgical hand disinfection. Experimental group: In the second week at the same time, the same people were required to use disposable sterile toilet paper to dry their hands and hygienic tests were performed after surgical hand disinfection. The hygiene and benefits of the two groups were evaluated. Results There was no significant difference in the results of hygienic tests between the two groups. In terms of material cost, the cost of sterilized hand towel was higher than disposable sterile toilet paper. Conclusion The application of disposable sterile toilet paper before surgical hand disinfection has no influence on the hygienic test of surgical hand disinfection, which can effectively reduce operating costs and save manpower in the operating room. Based on the chaotic polarization system of optically injected cascaded vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs), we propose a novel implementation scheme for high-speed optical chaotic data selection logic operations. Under the condition where the slave VCSEL (S-VCSEL) outputs a chaotic laser signal, we calculate the range of the applied electric field and the optical injection amplitude. We also investigate the evolution of the correlation characteristics between the polarized light output from the periodic poled LiNbO3 (PPLN) and the S-VCSEL as a function of the optical injection amplitude under different applied electric fields. Furthermore, we analyze the polarization bistability of the polarized light from the PPLN and S-VCSEL. Based on these results, we modulate the optical injection amplitude as the logic input and the applied electric field as the control logic signal. Using a mean comparison mechanism, we demodulate the polarized light from the PPLN and S-VCSEL to obtain two identical logic outputs, achieving optical chaotic data selection logic operations with an operation speed of approximately 114 Gb/s. Finally, we investigate the influence of noise on the logic outputs and find that both logic outputs do not show any error symbols under the noise strength as high as 180 dBw. The anti-noise performance of logic output O1 is superior to that of optical chaotic logic output O2. For noise strengths up to 185 dBw, error symbols in O2 can be detected and corrected by comparison with O1. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A growing variety of composites utilize natural plant fibers with naturally occurring veins structured hierarchically in an effort to reduce dependence on petroleum‐based materials. In this article, ramie fibers were extracted by alkaline delignification. Then, ramie fibers and PP matrix, were prepared in filament form and an amino‐silane coupling agent KH550, and maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene were added to improve interfacial compatibility. Ramie fiber/polypropylene fiber‐reinforced polymer composites (FRC) were prepared by hot pressing after using a carding machine. This method preserves the structure and length of ramie fibers to a large extent, thus greatly improving the mechanical properties of the material. After optimization, the FRC prepared from plant fibers of 2 cm length and 60% content had a density of 0.95 g/cm3, showed an increase in tensile and flexural strength of 276% and 339%, respectively, compared to the pure PP matrix. The specific strength of the FRC in the work was higher than galore FRC prepared from talc, carbon fiber, other plant fibers, and so forth. The FRC has a wide range of potential applications due to its own low‐cost, lightweight, and high‐performance, and is highly feasible in replacing the current polymers in the preparation of numerous everyday items. Based on the preparation of chloromethylated polysulfone(CMPS), two types of sulfonated polysulfone, naphthalenesulfonic acid type sulfonated polysulfone(PS-NS) and pyrenesulfonic acid type sulfonated polysulfone(PS-TS) were successfully obtained via nucleophilic substitution with 2-naphthol-6,8-disulfonic acid dipotassium(NS) and 8-hydroxy-1,3,6-pyrene trisulfonic acid sodium(TS) as reagents, respectively. The PS-NS and PS-TS Proton exchange membranes (PEMs) were obtained by solution casting method after characterizing their structure by FT-IR and 1H-NMR. The impact of phenyl side chain on performance including water uptake(WU), swelling ratio(SR) and proton conductivity(PC) of PEMs were explored. Atomic force microscopy(AFM) shows that the phase separation structures of PS-NS and PS-TS PEMs are distinct due to the positioning of the hydrophilic sulfonic acid groups far away from the hydrophobic main chain. So the PS-NS and PS-TS PEMs keep excellent size stability, oxidative stability and methanol permeability at high WU. At the same bonding amount(BA) of sulfonic acid, due to less hydrophilic chain segment and a larger number of sulfonic acid groups in the hydrophilic chain segment, which is conducive to the aggregation of ion cluster. The PS-TS present better size stability and anti-oxidative at high WU. The SR of PS-TS-3 PEM was only 20.3 and 48.1%. Meanwhile, the methanol permeability was only 7.54 × 10−7cm2·s−1 at room temperature, much lower than commercialization Nafion115 PEM (16.8 × 10−7cm2/s at room temperature). This letter to the editor describes a case of superficial angiomyxoma, a rare benign tumor, in the neck with infection. The patient, a 36-year-old male, presented with a gradually increasing neck mass accompanied by hoarseness and pain. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed an abnormal mass in the right sternocleidomastoid muscle. The mass was surgically removed, and histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of superficial angiomyxoma with a Staphylococcus aureus infection. Superficial angiomyxoma is a rare tumor that typically occurs on the trunk, limbs, and genital region, making its occurrence in the muscle extremely rare.
