Since sustainability is completely critical for industry, this study puts forwards an integrated methodology based on Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to propose an export model for sustainable naval shipbuilding industry. This study, which includes real-cases and theoretical work, proposes a systematic approach to create export model for a sustainable naval shipbuilding industry by providing a roadmap for companies together with the external necessities to pursue a to-the-point export strategy. The methodology SWOT analysis is used to determine internal and external factors of the export potential for Turkish naval shipbuilding industry. Then, the AHP method is employed to prioritize the critical criteria and sub-criteria of naval shipbuilding projects in order to create a successful export model. The proposed model has been applied with a real case study to obtain a robust export model. Finally, a sensitivity analysis is also adopted to verify and extend usability of obtained results for soundness of the model. The obtained results of this study disclose that criterion "Resources" which includes sub criteria such as "importance of government-supported credit/incentive mechanisms", "presenting the offer with the financial credit package", and "the sufficiency of the company's capital", arises as the foremost important criteria for obtaining a successful export project methodology. While the criterion "Project Management" that includes sub criteria such as "ability to deliver in accordance with the project schedule", and "the ability to produce timely solutions to additional and unprecedented requirements" is also determined as the least favored criteria for reaching an export project model. In the 1990s, Turkiye's Balkan policy was heavily influenced by military and defense concerns, but it shifted towards economic, social, and cultural priorities in the early 2000s. Recently, however, there has been a noticeable resurgence of military and defense activities in the region. Turkiye has expanded and deepened its military presence and defense cooperation, actively participating in international operations and regional mechanisms, often assuming leading roles. Bilateral cooperation with Balkan states has been strengthened by new agreements, enhancing Turkiye's defense industry exports and contributing to the local defense capabilities. Changing conditions inevitably affect military structures and systems. Throughout history, military structures have constantly undergone changes due to doctrinal, organizational, strategic, and technological developments. This research aims to identify the problems experienced by armies in the digital transformation process and to discuss possible solutions to these problems. As a research method, a hybrid method has been used by applying systematic literature review and expert interviews. The unique value of this research is that it addresses practical and current problems faced by armies in the digital transformation process and offers concrete, realistic, and applicable solutions to these problems. This study has reached the conclusions that old systems had problems adapting to new technologies, digital transformation created cyber security vulnerabilities, there was a lack of infrastructure in data management, and personnel having ten years or more in education and training fields may be resistant to change. These findings will help practitioners and decision-makers in the armed forces to make predictions in situations such as transformations in the organizational structures of armies through changes in technologies during the digital transformation process, personnel employment, new skill and capacity requirements, military training systems, and decision-making processes.

This research examines the production management of self-propelled mortar carrier systems in supporting the independence of Indonesia's defense industry. In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 16 of 2012 on Defense Industry which aims to ensure that the fulfillment of defense and security equipment can be carried out independently. This research uses the theory of production and production management presented by E.L. Brech. The production system starts from inputs, which consist of information, management, equipment and workers, as well as raw materials and capital, which then get treatment in the form of transformation into outputs in the form of goods and services. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Primary data is obtained through interviews and direct observation to related parties, while secondary data is obtained from literature studies, documents and other data. This research reveals that the production process at PT SAS Aero Sishan still requires improvement efforts to increase production effectiveness. This research underlines the importance of production management to optimize the resources owned through the production process so as to produce quality and superior products and services in order to realize the independence of the defense industry.

Internet of Things (IoT) technology has been widely adopted across various industries for remote decision-making, monitoring, and surveillance. The proliferation of IoT applications in sensitive sectors, such as national defense and security, has been driven by the ability to obtain in-depth information on ubiquitous occurrences. Conspicuously, the current research presents a comprehensive framework based on the IoT-empowered Digital Twin technology for assessing the national integrity of defense personnel. The primary objective is to identify the integral behavior of military personnel by securely tracking everyday activities. The proposed method demonstrated the ability to accurately analyze an individual’s anomalous occurrences in activities using a hybrid Convolution Neural Network with Gated Recurrent Units. Moreover, each personnel is mapped using a secure blockchain platform for acquiring social interactions and activities to identify potential threats to national security. The proposed model has been validated using challenging date sets obtained from public repositories. The computed results indicate that the proposed solution is successful in facilitating the development of high-quality defense services. The effectiveness of the suggested solution is evaluated using statistical metrics including vulnerable activity recognition (Precision 95.24%), model training and testing (Precision 95.24%, Recall (95.00%), and F-Measure 94.11%), latency rate (7.45 seconds), and data processing cost( $\theta $ ((n-1) logn)).
