The purpose of this research is to identify the surface and subsurface water quality measurements that are present in a particular lake. The Methodology and the Elements: It was Adiyur lake that provided the samples for analysis. The examples have utilised physical and chemical characteristics to assess the qualities of subsurface water in two groups of 18 samples each. The G-power was set at 80 percent, the alpha and beta qualities were set at 0.05 and 0.2, respectively, and the confidence interval was set at 95 percent. In the process of determining the quality of water, two different kinds of samples are utilised: lake water, which has four examples out of a total of eighteen, and subterranean water, which contains eighteen instances. In surface and subsurface lake water, the pH, variety, total dissolved solids, total suspended solids, and turbidity correspond to 6.46, 16.826.4, 36, and 14.6 respectively. On the other hand, the pH, total suspended solids, pH, and turbidity of subsurface water are 7.9, 26.1, 936.2, 232.9, and 26 respectively. In accordance with the statistical package known as SPSS, the significance value is 0.000 (p<0.05), which signifies that the independent sample t-test conducted on the two groups revealed noteworthy differences. In terms of the actual properties of the water's surface and subsurface, this study discovered that the subsurface water generated superior findings in comparison to the surface water while the researchers were researching the nature of the water. This article's goal is to examine the effects of altered physicochemical characteristics of surface and subsurface water extracted from a lake. Instructions and Supplies: We took our samples from Yelagiri lake. With a total of 36 samples divided evenly between two groups (Group 1=18 and Group 2=18), the computation is carried out using G-power 80 percent with alpha and beta values of 0.05 and 0.2, respectively, and a confidence interval of 95 percent. In order to determine the quality of the water, sample sets consisting of both subsurface water (with 18 instances) and lake water (with 4 examples) are utilised. The surface water of the lake has a pH of 6.6, a colour of 16.2, a total of 826.0 suspended particles, and a turbidity of 17.0. The subsurface water of the lake has a pH of 8.1, a colour of 26.3, a total of 931.1, a pH of 226.5, and a turbidity of 25. According to the study's significance level of 0.000 (p<0.05), the independent sample t-test revealed a notable difference between the two groups.
