Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) represents a well-documented degenerative arthropathy prevalent among the elderly population. KOA is a persistent condition, also referred to as progressive joint Disease, stemming from the continual deterioration of cartilage. Predominantly afflicting individuals aged 45 and above, this ailment is commonly labeled as a "wear and tear" joint disorder, targeting joints such as the knee, hand, hips, and spine. Osteoarthritis symptoms typically increase gradually, contributing to the deterioration of articular cartilage. Prominent indicators encompass pain, stiffness, tenderness, swelling, and the development of bone spurs. Diagnosis typically involves the utilization of Radiographic X-ray images, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Computed Tomography (CT) Scan by medical professionals and experts. However, this conventional approach is time-consuming, and also sometimes tedious for medical professionals. In order to address the limitation of time and expedite the diagnostic process, deep learning algorithms have been implemented in the medical field. In the present investigation, four pre-trained models, specifically CNN, AlexNet, ResNet34 and ResNet-50, were utilized to predict the severity of KOA. Cervical cancer is a severe threat to women's health. The majority of cervical cancer cases occur in developing countries. The WHO has proposed screening 70% of women with high-performance tests between 35 and 45 years of age by 2030 to accelerate the elimination of cervical cancer. Due to an inadequate health infrastructure and organized screening strategy, most low- and middleincome countries are still far from achieving this goal. As part of the efforts to increase performance of cervical cancer screening, it is necessary to investigate the most accurate, efficient, and effective methods and strategies. Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly expanding its application in cancer screening and diagnosis and deep learning algorithms have offered human-like interpretation capabilities on various medical images. AI will soon have a more significant role in improving the implementation of cervical cancer screening, management, and follow-up. This review aims to report the state of AI with respect to cervical cancer screening. We discuss the primary AI applications and development of AI technology for image recognition applied to detection of abnormal cytology and cervical neoplastic diseases, as well as the challenges that we anticipate in the future. Plant Leaf Disease (PLD) detection is helpful for several fields like Agriculture Institute and Biological Research. The country’s economic growth depends on the productivity of the agricultural field. Recently developed models based on deep learning give more accurate and precise results over the detection and classification of PLD while evolving through image processing approaches. Many image-processing approaches are used for the identification and classification of PLD. The quality of agricultural products is mainly affected by several factors like fungi, bacteria, and viruses. These factors severely destroy the entire growth of the plant. Hence, some outperformed models are needed to detect and identify the severity level of plant diseases yet, the identification requires more time and has a struggle to identify the appropriate type of disease based on its symptoms. Therefore, several automatic detection and classification models are developed to avoid the time complexity. Computerized image processing approaches are utilized for crop protection, which analyzes the color information of leaves from the collected images. Hence, image processing techniques play an important role in the identification and classification of PLD. It gives more advantages by lowering the task of illustrating crops on large farms and detecting the leaf diseases at the initial stage itself based on the symptoms of the plant leaves. While implementing a new model, there is a need to study various machine and deep learning-based structures for PLD detection approaches. This research work provides an overview of various heuristic approaches, machine learning, and deep learning models for the detection and classification of PLD. This research work also covers the various constraints like PLD detection tools, performance measures, datasets used, and chronological review. Aims: Electronic health records (EHR) linked to Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM), biological specimens, and deep learning (DL) algorithms could potentially improve patient care through automated case detection and surveillance. We hypothesized that by applying keyword searches to routinely stored EHR, in conjunction with AI‐powered automated reading of DICOM echocardiography images and analysing biomarkers from routinely stored plasma samples, we were able to identify heart failure (HF) patients. Methods and results: We used EHR data between 1993 and 2021 from Tayside and Fife (~20% of the Scottish population). We implemented a keyword search strategy complemented by filtering based on International Classification of Diseases (ICD) codes and prescription data to EHR data set. We then applied DL for the automated interpretation of echocardiographic DICOM images. These methods were then integrated with the analysis of routinely stored plasma samples to identify and categorize patients into HF with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF), HF with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), and controls without HF. The final diagnosis was verified through a manual review of medical records, measured natriuretic peptides in stored blood samples, and by comparing clinical outcomes among groups. In our study, we selected the patient cohort through an algorithmic workflow. This process started with 60 850 EHR data and resulted in a final cohort of 578 patients, divided into 186 controls, 236 with HFpEF, and 156 with HFrEF, after excluding individuals with mismatched data or significant valvular heart disease. The analysis of baseline characteristics revealed that compared with controls, patients with HFrEF and HFpEF were generally older, had higher BMI, and showed a greater prevalence of co‐morbidities such as diabetes, COPD, and CKD. Echocardiographic analysis, enhanced by DL, provided high coverage, and detailed insights into cardiac function, showing significant differences in parameters such as left ventricular diameter, ejection fraction, and myocardial strain among the groups. Clinical outcomes highlighted a higher risk of hospitalization and mortality for HF patients compared with controls, with particularly elevated risk ratios for both HFrEF and HFpEF groups. The concordance between the algorithmic selection of patients and manual validation demonstrated high accuracy, supporting the effectiveness of our approach in identifying and classifying HF subtypes, which could significantly impact future HF diagnosis and management strategies. Conclusions: Our study highlights the feasibility of combining keyword searches in EHR, DL automated echocardiographic interpretation, and biobank resources to identify HF subtypes. Caused by nonlinear vibration, ocean white noise exhibits complex dynamic characteristics and nonlinear perception characteristics. To explore the potential application of ocean white noise in engineering and health fields, novel methods based on deep learning algorithms are proposed to generate ocean white noise, contributing to marine environment simulation in ocean engineering. A comparative study, including spectrum analysis and auditory testing, proved the superiority of the generation method using deep learning networks over general mathematical or physical methods. To further study the nonlinear perception characteristics of ocean white noise, novel experimental research based on multi-modal perception research methods was carried out within a constructed multi-modal perception system environment, including the following two experiments. The first audiovisual comparative experiment thoroughly explores the system's user multi-modal perception experience and influence factors, explicitly focusing on the impact of ocean white noise on human perception. The second sound intensity testing experiment is conducted to further explore human multi-sensory interaction and change patterns under white noise stimulation. The experimental results indicate that user visual perception ability and state reach a relatively high level when the sound intensity is close to 50 dB. Further numerical analysis based on the experimental results reveals the internal influence relationship between user perception of multiple senses, showing a fluctuating influence law to user visual concentration and a curvilinear influence law to user visual psychology from the sound intensity of ocean white noise. This study underscores ocean white noise's positive effect on human perception enhancement and concentration improvement, providing a research basis for multiple field applications such as spiritual healing, perceptual learning, and artistic creation for human beings. Chest X-ray imaging is an essential tool in the diagnostic procedure for pulmonary conditions, providing healthcare professionals with the capability to immediately and accurately determine lung anomalies. This imaging modality is fundamental in assessing and confirming the presence of various lung issues, allowing for timely and effective medical intervention. In response to the widespread prevalence of pulmonary infections globally, there is a growing imperative to adopt automated systems that leverage deep learning (DL) algorithms. These systems are particularly adept at handling large radiological datasets and providing high precision. This study introduces an advanced identification model that utilizes the VGG16 architecture, specifically adapted for identifying various lung anomalies such as opacity, COVID-19 pneumonia, normal appearance of the lungs, and viral pneumonia. Furthermore, we address the issue of model generalizability, which is of prime significance in our work. We employed the data augmentation technique through CycleGAN, which, through experimental outcomes, has proven effective in enhancing the robustness of our model. The combined performance of our advanced VGG model with the CycleGAN augmentation technique demonstrates remarkable outcomes in several evaluation metrics, including recall, F1-score, accuracy, precision, and area under the curve (AUC). The results of the advanced VGG16 model showcased remarkable accuracy, achieving 98.58%. Muscle fatigue is a physiological phenomenon that occurs when muscles are overused or continuously loaded during exercise or labor. Currently, analyzing the fatigue mechanism is still a complex and multi-layered research problem. In recent years, research methods focusing on surface electromyographic (sEMG) signals have garnered significant attention. The application of advanced signal processing techniques and machine learning algorithms has enhanced the precision of interpreting surface electromyographic data, deepening our understanding of the mechanisms underlying muscle fatigue. This, in turn, provides crucial scientific support for improving athletic performance, preventing sports injuries, and enhancing rehabilitation treatments.This comprehensive review of muscle fatigue research based on surface electromyographic signals covers various aspects. First, the definition of muscle fatigue and currently commonly used detection methods are explained, and the characteristics and application scope of various methods are pointed out; Secondly, the EMG characteristics that characterize muscle fatigue are introduced in detail from linear characteristics such as time domain, frequency domain, time-frequency domain and the use of nonlinear parameters, and the advantages and limitations of these characteristics are also discussed; Thirdly, combining fatigue characteristics as input data, the classification algorithms commonly used for muscle fatigue are explored, and the applicable conditions, advantages and disadvantages of each algorithm are accurately summarized from the aspects of machine learning and deep learning algorithms; Finally, the challenges faced by muscle fatigue research at this stage are pointed out, and on the basis of proposing feasible solutions, the future research directions are prospected.

Landslide is a common hazard in Tamil Nadu's Nilgiri district of. While much work on landslide susceptibility have been done worldwide, understanding society's vulnerability to landslides, considering house structure and socio-economic conditions, remains lacking. This research presents landslide vulnerability mapping using advanced computing deep learning models in the Nilgiri district, India. Compared to traditional ML techniques, the deep learning neural network (DLNN) architecture demonstrates greater accuracy, particularly when dealing with more samples or significant amounts of big data. Although the standardized characteristics of multi-layer NNs are widely known, the key benefit of DL is its organized method for training DLNN-layer organizations how to govern themselves. Therefore, one deep learning neural network and three conventional machine learning models i.e., MLP classifier and RBF neural network were opted. A total of twenty-eight physical, climatological, hydrological and socio-economic factors were considered to produce socio-economic and relative landslide vulnerability maps. Multi-collinearity diagnosis was performed to select the appropriate factors. Several physical as well as human related factors are highly important for making the area vulnerable to land-slide. To justify the vulnerability maps, several statistical methods were applied. The best model DLNN, with an area under the curve of 89.07%, shows that 43.31%, and 37.72% of areas are highly to very-highly vulnerable to landslides. The framework presented in this work establishes an ideal link between human activities and landslide vulnerability, aiding planners in making informed decisions for landslide management. Abstract This research endeavors to prognosticate gender by harnessing the potential of skull computed tomography (CT) images, given the seminal role of gender identification in the realm of identification. The study encompasses a corpus of CT images of cranial structures derived from 218 male and 203 female subjects, constituting a total cohort of 421 individuals within the age bracket of 25 to 65 years. Employing deep learning, a prominent subset of machine learning algorithms, the study deploys convolutional neural network (CNN) models to excavate profound attributes inherent in the skull CT images. In pursuit of the research objective, the focal methodology involves the exclusive application of deep learning algorithms to image datasets, culminating in an accuracy rate of 96.4%. The gender estimation process exhibits a precision of 96.1% for male individuals and 96.8% for female individuals. The precision performance varies across different selections of feature numbers, namely 100, 300, and 500, alongside 1000 features without feature selection. The respective precision rates for these selections are recorded as 95.0%, 95.5%, 96.2%, and 96.4%. It is notable that gender estimation via visual radiography mitigates the discrepancy in measurements between experts, concurrently yielding an expedited estimation rate. Predicated on the empirical findings of this investigation, it is inferred that the efficacy of the CNN model, the configurational intricacies of the classifier, and the judicious selection of features collectively constitute pivotal determinants in shaping the performance attributes of the proposed methodology.

Droughts have a substantial impact on water supplies, agriculture, and ecosystems worldwide. Agricultural sustainability and production in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam are being jeopardized by droughts caused by climate change. Conventional forecasting methods frequently struggle to comprehend the intricate dynamics of meteorological occurrences connected to drought, necessitating the use of sophisticated prediction techniques. This study assesses the effectiveness of various statistical models (ARIMA), machine learning, and deep learning models (Gradient Boosting, XGBoost, RNN, and LSTM) in forecasting the SPEI over different time periods (1, 3, 6, and 12 months) across six prediction intervals. The models were developed and evaluated using data from 11 meteorological stations spanning from 1985 to 2022. These models incorporated various climatic variables, including precipitation, temperature, humidity, potential evapotranspiration (PET), Southern Oscillation Index (SOI) Anomaly, and sea surface temperature in the NINO4 region (SST_NINO4). The results demonstrate that XGBoost and LSTM models exhibit outstanding performance, showcasing lower error metrics and higher R² values compared to Gradient Boosting and RNN. The performance of the model fluctuated depending on the forecast step, with error metrics often increasing with longer prediction horizons. The use of climatic indices improved the accuracy of the model. These findings are consistent with earlier research on drought episodes in the Mekong Delta and support studies from other areas that show the effectiveness of advanced modeling tools for predicting droughts. The work emphasizes the capacity of machine learning and deep learning models to enhance the precision of drought forecasting, which is vital for efficient water resource management and agricultural planning in places prone to drought. Hydrological simulation in karstic areas is a hard task due to the intrinsic intricacy of these environments and the common lack of data related to their geometry. Hydrological dynamics of karstic sites in Mediterranean semiarid regions are difficult to be modelled mathematically owing to the existence of short wet episodes and long dry periods. In this paper, the suitability of an open-source SWAT method was checked to estimate the comportment of a karstic catchment in a Mediterranean semiarid domain (southeast of Spain), which wet and dry periods were evaluated using box-whisker plots and self-developed wavelet test. A novel expression of the Nash–Sutcliffe index for arid areas (ANSE) was considered through the calibration and validation of SWAT. Both steps were completed with 20- and 10-year discharge records of stream (1996–2015 to calibrate the model as this period depicts minimum gaps and 1985–1995 to validate it). Further, SWAT assessments were made with records of groundwater discharge and relating SWAT outputs with the SIMPA method, the Spain's national hydrological tool. These methods, along with recurrent neural network algorithms, were utilised to examine current and predicted water resources available to supply urban demands considering also groundwater abstractions from aquifers and the related exploitation index. According to the results, SWAT achieved a "very good" statistical performance (with ANSE of 0.96 and 0.78 in calibration and validation). Spatial distributions of the main hydrological processes, as surface runoff, evapotranspiration and aquifer recharge, were studied with SWAT and SIMPA obtaining similar results over the period with registers (1980–2016). During this period, the decreasing trend of rainfalls, characterised by short wet periods and long dry periods, has generated a progressive reduction of groundwater recharge. According to algorithms prediction (until 2050), this declining trend will continue reducing groundwater available to meet urban demands and increasing the exploitation index of aquifers. Chlorine is widely used for sterilization and disinfection of water, but the presence of excess residual chlorine in water poses a substantial threat to human health. At present, there is no portable device which can achieve accurate, rapid, low-cost, and convenient detection of residual chlorine in water. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a device that can perform accurate, rapid, low-cost, and convenient detection of residual chlorine in water. In this study, a portable residual chlorine detection device was developed. A microfluidic chip was studied to achieve efficient mixing of two-phase flow. This microfluidic chip was used for rapid mixing of reagents in the portable residual chlorine detection device, reducing the consumption of reagents, detection time, and device volume. A deep learning algorithm was proposed for predicting residual chlorine concentration in water, achieving precise detection. Firstly, the microfluidic chip structure for detecting mixed reagents was optimized, and the microfluidic chip was fabricated by a 3D-printing method. Secondly, a deep learning (LS-BP) algorithm was constructed and proposed for predicting residual chlorine concentration in water, which can realize dual-channel signal reading. Thirdly, the corresponding portable residual chlorine detection device was developed, and the detection device was compared with residual chlorine detection devices and methods in other studies. The comparison results indicate that the portable residual chlorine detection device has high detection accuracy, fast detection speed, low cost, and good convenience. The excellent performance of the portable residual chlorine detection device makes it suitable for detecting residual chlorine in drinking water, swimming pool water, aquaculture and other fields. Protein methylation is a form of post-translational modifications of protein, which is crucial for various cellular processes, including transcription activity and DNA repair. Correctly predicting protein methylation sites is fundamental for research and drug discovery. Some experimental techniques, such as methyl-specific antibodies, chromatin immune precipitation and mass spectrometry, exist for predicting protein methylation sites, but these techniques are time-consuming and costly. The ability to predict methylation sites using in silico techniques may help researchers identify potential candidate sites for future examination and make it easier to carry out site-specific investigations and downstream characterizations. In this research, we proposed a novel deep learning-based predictor, named DeepPRMS, to identify protein methylation sites in primary sequences. The DeepPRMS utilizes the gated recurrent unit (GRU) and convolutional neural network (CNN) algorithms to extract the sequential and spatial information from the primary sequences. GRU is used to extract sequential information, while CNN is used for spatial information. We combined the latent representation of GRU and CNN models to have a better interaction among them. Based on the independent test data set, DeepPRMS obtained an accuracy of 85.32%, a specificity of 84.94%, Matthew's correlation coefficient of 0.71 and a sensitivity of 85.80%. The results indicate that DeepPRMS can predict protein methylation sites with high accuracy and outperform the state-of-the-art models. However, there is currently a lack of an effective comprehensive index for forest landscape fragmentation, and detailed knowledge of the forest landscape fragmentation dynamics remains insufficient. Here, taking Putian City of Fujian Province in Southeastern China as a case, we employed a forest fragmentation comprehensive index (FFCI) to capture key features of forest landscape fragmentation, such as patch size, number, and distribution. Then, bivariate spatial autocorrelation analysis was employed to identify the spatial associations between the static forest landscape fragmentation (FFCI) and the dynamic forest landscape fragmentation (ΔFFCI), and the spatial coupling modes among the three individual components of FFCI (mean patch area, MPA; aggregation index, AI; patch density, PD) were identified to explore the detail process of forest landscape fragmentation. Finally, the random forest model was applied to observe the impact factors of forest landscape fragmentation dynamics. The findings showed that forest landscapes with different degrees of fragmentation exhibited more noticeable changes at both ends (i.e., either high or lower-level fragmentation), with the intermediate level remaining consistent from 2000 to 2020. Around 18.3% of forest landscapes experienced a decrease in fragmentation, particularly in the northern part of the study area, while approximately 81.7% of forest landscapes exhibited an increasing trend in fragmentation. The bivariate spatial autocorrelation analysis indicated that the proportion of Low–High-type grids was the highest at 17.3%, followed by the High–High type at 7.0%. We also identified eight forest landscape fragmentation modes, which indicate the most significant forest landscape fragmentation pattern is a decrease in MPA and an increase in PD. Moreover, the anthropogenic factors (e.g., population density and night light intensity) were found to dominate the FFCI dynamics during 2000–2020. This study offers an efficient research paradigm for the dynamics of forest landscape fragmentation. The outcomes are conducive to an in-depth comprehension of the detailed dynamic information of forest landscape fragmentation, and supply a scientific foundation for enhancing the overall ecological service function of the forest. Deep learning algorithms have revolutionized various fields by achieving remarkable results in time series analysis. Among the different architectures, recurrent neural networks (RNNs) have played a significant role in sequential data processing. This study presents a comprehensive comparison of prominent RNN variants: long short-term memory (LSTM), Bidirectional LSTM (BiLSTM), gated recurrent unit (GRU), bidirectional GRU (BiGRU), and RNN, to analyze their respective strengths and weaknesses of national stock exchange India (NSEI). The Python application developed for this research aims to evaluate and determine the most effective algorithm among the variants. To conduct the evaluation, data from the public domain covering the period from 1/1/2004 to 30/06/2023 is collected. The dataset considers significant events such as demonetization, market crashes, the COVID-19 pandemic, downturns in the automobile sector, and rises in unemployment. Stocks from various sectors including banking, automobile, oil and gas, metal, and Pharma are selected for analysis. Finally, the results reveal that algorithm performance varies across different stocks. Specifically, in certain cases, BiLSTM outperforms, while in others, both BiGRU and LSTM are surpassed. Remote sensing technology, which conventionally employs spectrometers to capture hyperspectral images, allowing for the classification and unmixing based on the reflectance spectrum, has been extensively applied in diverse fields, including environmental monitoring, land resource management, and agriculture. However, miniaturization of remote sensing systems remains a challenge due to the complicated and dispersive optical components of spectrometers. Here, m‐phase GaTe0.5Se0.5 with wide‐spectral photoresponses (250–1064 nm) and stack it with WSe2 are utilizes to construct a two‐dimensional van der Waals heterojunction (2D‐vdWH), enabling the design of a gate‐tunable wide‐spectral photodetector. By utilizing the multi‐photoresponses under varying gate voltages, high accuracy recognition can be achieved aided by deep learning algorithms without the original hyperspectral reflectance data. The proof‐of‐concept device, featuring dozens of tunable gate voltages, achieves an average classification accuracy of 87.00% on 6 prevalent hyperspectral datasets, which is competitive with the accuracy of 250–1000 nm hyperspectral data (88.72%) and far superior to the accuracy of non‐tunable photoresponse (71.17%). Artificially designed gate‐tunable wide‐spectral 2D‐vdWHs GaTe0.5Se0.5/WSe2‐based photodetector present a promising pathway for the development of miniaturized and cost‐effective remote sensing classification technology. Region proposal-based detectors, such as Region-Convolutional Neural Networks (R-CNNs), Fast R-CNNs, Faster R-CNNs, and Region-Based Fully Convolutional Networks (R-FCNs), employ a two-stage process involving region proposal generation followed by classification. This approach is effective but computationally intensive and typically slower than proposal-free methods. Therefore, region proposal-free detectors are becoming popular to balance accuracy and speed. This paper proposes a proposal-free, fully convolutional network (PF-FCN) that outperforms other state-of-the-art, proposal-free methods. Unlike traditional region proposal-free methods, PF-FCN can generate a "box map" based on regression training techniques. This box map comprises a set of vectors, each designed to produce bounding boxes corresponding to the positions of objects in the input image. The channel and spatial contextualized sub-network are further designed to learn a "box map". In comparison to renowned proposal-free detectors such as CornerNet, CenterNet, and You Look Only Once (YOLO), PF-FCN utilizes a fully convolutional, single-pass method. By reducing the need for fully connected layers and filtering center points, the method considerably reduces the number of trained parameters and optimizes the scalability across varying input sizes. Evaluations of benchmark datasets suggest the effectiveness of PF-FCN: the proposed model achieved an mAP of 89.6% on PASCAL VOC 2012 and 71.7% on MS COCO, which are higher than those of the baseline Fully Convolutional One-Stage Detector (FCOS) and other classical proposal-free detectors. The accurate prediction of bearing capacity is crucial in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of pile foundations. This research compares the Deep Neural Networks (DNN), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), and Bidirectional LSTM (BiLSTM) algorithms utilizing a data set of 257 dynamic pile load tests for the first time. Also, this research illustrates the multicollinearity effect on DNN, CNN, RNN, LSTM, and BiLSTM models' performance and accuracy for the first time. A comprehensive comparative analysis is conducted, employing various statistical performance parameters, rank analysis, and error matrix to evaluate the performance of these models. The performance is further validated using external validation, and visual interpretation is provided using the regression error characteristics (REC) curve and Taylor diagram. Results from the comparative analysis reveal that the DNN (Coefficient of determination (R2)training (TR) = 0.97, root mean squared error (RMSE)TR = 0.0413; Rtesting (TS)2 = 0.9, RMSETS = 0.08) followed by BiLSTM (RTR2 = 0.91, RMSETR = 0.782; RTS2 = 0.89, RMSETS = 0.0862) model demonstrates the highest performance accuracy. It is noted that the BiLSTM model is better than LSTM because the BiLSTM model, which increases the amount of information for the network, is a sequence processing model made up of two LSTMs, one of which takes the input in a forward manner, and the other in a backward direction. The prediction of pile-bearing capacity is strongly influenced by ram weight (having a considerable multicollinearity level), and the effect of the considerable multicollinearity level has been determined for the model based on the recurrent neural network approach. Video detection is performed to capture human movements, followed by human joint detection. Polynomial fitting analysis is used to extract joint motion patterns, and the average of training data is calculated as a reference point. The raw data is then normalized to adjust position and direction, and dimensionality reduction is achieved through singular value decomposition to enhance processing efficiency and model training speed. A support vector machine classifier is used to classify and identify the processed data. The experimental section monitors sports injuries and investigates the accuracy of the system’s monitoring. Compared to mainstream models such as Random Forest and Naive Bayes, the SVM utilized demonstrates good performance in accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity, reaching 94.2%, 92.5%, and 96.0% respectively.

Remote patient monitoring has recently been popularised due to advanced technological innovations. The advent of the Sixth Generation Internet of Things (6G-IoT) communication technology, combined with deep learning algorithms, presents a groundbreaking opportunity for enhancing remote cardiac system monitoring. This paper proposes an innovative framework leveraging the ultra-reliable, low-latency communication capabilities of 6G-IoT to transmit real-time cardiac data from wearable devices directly to healthcare providers. Integrating deep learning models facilitates the accurate analysis and prediction of cardiac anomalies, significantly improving traditional monitoring systems. Our methodology involves the deployment of cutting-edge wearable sensors capable of capturing high-fidelity cardiac signals. These signals are transmitted via 6G-IoT networks, ensuring minimal delay and maximum reliability. Upon receiving the data, a densely connected deep neural network with an optimised swish activation function—designed explicitly for cardiac anomaly detection is employed to analyse the data in real-time. These algorithms are trained on vast datasets to recognise patterns indicative of potential cardiac issues, allowing immediate intervention when necessary. The proposed system's efficacy is validated through extensive testing in simulated environments, demonstrating its ability to accurately detect and swiftly predict a wide range of cardiac conditions. The management of various multimedia assets, such as photos, videos, audio files, and other rich media content, within a cloud computing environment is referred to as managing multimedia resources in the cloud. To suit the needs of applications and users, this entails the effective storage, retrieval, processing, and distribution of multimedia resources. Given the significance of work planning and managing resources in the cloud computing environment, we present a unique hybrid algorithm in this research. Many cloud-based computing systems have made extensive use of traditional scheduling techniques like ant colony optimization (ACO), first come first serve, etc. The cloud gets client tasks at a high rate, so it is important to handle resource allocation for these tasks carefully. Using the improved pelican optimization algorithm, we efficiently distribute the tasks to the virtual machines in this proposed work. The proposed hybrid algorithm (Improved POA + Improved GJO) is then used to distribute and manage the resources (Memory and CPU) as needed by the tasks. According to experimental findings, the accuracy of the proposed technique increases by 1.12%, 2.11%, and 14.2%, respectively. In most cases, fogs cause irregularity of flights and sometimes lead to disasters, so timely and accurate forecasting of the onset of fog and its type is very important. At present, numerical methods greatly facilitate the forecasters' work, but the problem of predicting visibility and fog remains relevant. Artificial intelligence technologies, in particular, deep learning algorithms using various kinds of neural networks are currently becoming more widespread in hydrometeorological activities. Fake news generation and propagation is a major challenge of the digital age, resulting in various social impacts namely bandwagon, validity, echo chamber effects, deceiving the public with spams, misinformation, malicious content and many more. The widespread proliferation of fake news not only fosters misinformation but also undermines the credibility of news sources. The veracity of the information is a major concern at all the stages of generation, publication, and propagation. To comprehend the critical need for addressing this pervasive problem, this research paper presents a framework for automatic detection of fake news using a knowledge-based approach. An automatic fact checking mechanism is applied using concepts of Information Retrieval (IR), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Graph theory. The knowledge base is generated using Twitter dataset, which basically contains four attributes: Subject-Predicate-Object (SPO) triplet, SPO sentiment polarity, SPO occurrence, and topic modeling. These attributes serve as pivotal indicators for the development of a knowledge base, subsequently employed to detect prevalent patterns and traits linked to deceptive or false information. We have employed Named Entity Recognition (NER) model to extract SPO triples and Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) for topic modeling, thereby contributing to knowledge base generation. To evaluate the efficacy and efficiency of our proposed model, we utilize deep learning algorithms like RNN, GRU, LSTM, GPT-3 and BERT Transformer providing an acceptable level of accuracy. The multi-feature and imbalanced nature of network data has always been a challenge to be overcome in the field of network intrusion detection. The redundant features in data could reduce the overall quality of network data and the accuracy of detection models, because imbalance could lead to a decrease in the detection rate for minority classes. To improve the detection accuracy for imbalanced intrusion data, we develop a data-driven integrated detection method, which utilizes Recursive Feature Elimination (RFE) for feature selection, and screens out features that are conducive to model recognition for improving the overall quality of data analysis. In this work, we also apply the Adaptive Synthetic Sampling (ADASYN) method to generate the input data close to the original dataset, which aims to eliminate the data imbalance in the studied intrusion detection model. Besides, a novel VGG-ResNet classification algorithm is also proposed via integrating the convolutional block with the output feature map size of 128 from the Visual Geometry Group 16 (VGG16) of the deep learning algorithm and the residual block with output feature map size of 256 from the Residual Network 18 (ResNet18). Based on the numerical results conducted on the well-known NSL-KDD dataset and UNSW-NB15 dataset, it illustrates that our method can achieve the accuracy rates of 86.31% and 82.56% in those two test datasets, respectively. Moreover, it can be found that the present algorithm can achieve a better accuracy and performance in the experiments of comparing our method with several existing algorithms proposed in the recent three years. Conventional detection techniques aimed at intelligent devices rely primarily on deep learning algorithms, which, despite their high precision, are hindered by significant computer power and energy requirements. This work proposes a novel solution to these constraints using mobile edge computing (MEC). We present the Dependent Task-Offloading technique (DTOS), a deep reinforcement learning-based technique for optimizing task offloading to numerous heterogeneous edge servers in intelligent prosthesis applications. By expressing the task offloading problem as a Markov decision process, DTOS addresses the dual challenge of lowering network service latency and power utilisation. DTOS employs a weighted sum optimisation method in this approach to find the best policy. The technique uses parallel deep neural networks (DNNs), which not only create offloading possibilities but also cache the most successful options for further iterations. Furthermore, the DTOS modifies DNN variables using a prioritized experience replay method, which improves learning by focusing on valuable experiences. The use of DTOS in a real-world MEC scenario, where a deep learning-based movement intent detection algorithm is deployed on intelligent prostheses, demonstrates its applicability and effectiveness. The experimental results show that DTOS consistently makes optimal decisions in work offloading and planning, demonstrating its potential to improve the operational efficiency of intelligent prostheses significantly.
