Abstract

The Indonesian government has come under intense scrutiny for its actions in the agrarian conflict in Rempang Island, Batam City, Riau Islands Province. The conflict was triggered by the government's forced relocation of the Rempang Island community in the context of the Rempang Eco City development funded by a foreign investor, Xinyi Group. The incident captured the attention of the public and the media due to the large scale of the case. This research aims to see how the Indonesian government is represented in the Indonesian news media regarding the discourse of the Rempang Island case. This research uses the theory of Critical Discourse Analysis initiated by Fairclough (1995) and Transitivity by Halliday (2014). The method used in this research is content analysis method to elaborate the image constructed by the media against the Indonesian government. The data in the study amounted to six data taken from Tempo.co media, and Batamnow.com which were analyzed through three stages, namely textual, discourse practices, and socio-cultural practices. The results showed that the Indonesian government was represented negatively by labeling it as the party that violated human rights and the perpetrator of crimes against humanity.

Abstract

Background The largest data on the epidemiology of primary glomerular diseases (PGDs) are obtained from the databases of countries or centers. Here, we present the extended results of the Primary Glomerular Diseases Study of the Turkish Society of Nephrology Glomerular Diseases (TSN-GOLD) Working Group. Methods Data of patients who underwent renal biopsy and received the diagnosis of PGD were recorded in the database prepared for the study. A total of 4399 patients from 47 centers were evaluated between May 2009 and May 2019. The data obtained at the time of kidney biopsy were analyzed. After the exclusion of patients without light microscopy and immunofluorescence microscopy findings, a total of 3875 patients were included in the study. Results The mean age was 41.5 +/- 14.9 years. 1690 patients were female (43.6%) and 2185 (56.3%) were male. Nephrotic syndrome was the most common biopsy indication (51.7%). This was followed by asymptomatic urinary abnormalities (18.3%) and nephritic syndrome (17.8%). The most common PGD was IgA nephropathy (25.7%) followed by membranous nephropathy (25.6%) and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (21.9%). The mean total number of glomeruli per biopsy was 17 +/- 10. The mean baseline systolic blood pressure was 130 +/- 20 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure was 81 +/- 12 mmHg. The median proteinuria, serum creatinine, estimated GFR, and mean albumin values were 3300 (IQR: 1467-6307) mg/day, 1.0 (IQR: 0.7-1.6) mg/dL, 82.9 (IQR: 47.0-113.0) mL/min and 3.2 +/- 0.9 g/dL, respectively. Conclusions The distribution of PGDs in Turkey has become similar to that in other European countries. 24. El valor de la gammagrafía paratiroidea en la detección de lesiones en pacientes con hiperparatiroidismo primario normocalcémico.

Abstract

El hiperparatiroidismo primario (HPP) es una de las enfermedades endocrinas más frecuentes. La mayoría de los pacientes con HPP son asintomáticos, y solo el 20% de ellos se vuelven sintomáticos con niveles crecientes de calcio (Ca). Se ha informado que el hiperparatiroidismo primario normocalcémico puede ser el período incipiente de HPP en el que los niveles de Ca están en un rango normal, y puede avanzar a HPP abierto. El diagnóstico temprano de la HPP es importante para prevenir sus complicaciones. En este estudio retrospectivo, nos propusimos evaluar el papel de la gammagrafía paratiroidea 99mTc-MIBI en la detección de lesiones en pacientes con HPP normocalcémico. La base de datos de gammagrafía paratiroidea fue revisada retrospectivamente en pacientes con HPP. 117 pacientes que se sometieron a la gammagrafía 99mTc-MIBI fueron reclutados para el estudio. El nivel de Ca sérico superior a 10,5 mg/dl se consideró como hipercalcemia. Los niveles medios de PTH sérica (media ± DE) de un total de 117 pacientes (mujeres/mujeres: 98/19) fueron de 149 ± 97 pg/ml en el grupo normocalcémico (Ca: 9,6 ± 0,6 mg/dl, n = 38) y de 189 ± 135 pg/ml en el grupo hipercalcémico (Ca: 11,4 ± 0,6 mg/dl, n = 79) (p = 0,072). El sexo y la edad no fueron diferentes entre los grupos de gammagrafía positiva y negativa, pero las tasas de detección de lesiones con gammagrafía paratiroidea fueron del 42% en el grupo normocalcémico y del 81% en el grupo hipercalcémico (p < 0,0001). Varios factores, entre los que se incluyen el Ca sérico, el protocolo de imágenes, la existencia de enfermedad multiglandular, el tamaño y la biocinética MIBI del adenoma pueden influir en la detectabilidad de la lesión en la gammagrafía paratiroidea. Aunque un alto nivel de Ca en suero es un parámetro importante para predecir su éxito, la gammagrafía paratiroidea sigue siendo un método de diagnóstico valioso incluso en pacientes con HPP normocalcémico. Primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) is one of the most frequent endocrine diseases. Most of the patients with PHPT are asymptomatic, and only 20% of them become symptomatic with increasing levels of calcium. It has been reported that normocalcemic primary hyperparathyroidism (NPHPT) may be the incipient period of PHPT where calcium (Ca) levels are in normal range, and it may advance to overt PHPT. Early diagnosis of PHPT is important in order to prevent its complications. In this retrospective study, we aimed to evaluate the role of 99mTc-MIBI parathyroid scintigraphy on lesion detection in patients with NPHPT. The parathyroid scintigraphy database was reviewed retrospectively in patients with PHPT. 117 patients who underwent 99mTc-MIBI scintigraphy were recruited to the study. Serum calcium level above 10.5 mg/dl was considered as hypercalcemia. A total of 117 patients' (female/male:98/19) mean serum PTH levels (mean ±SD) were 149 ± 97 pg/ml in normocalcemic group (Ca:9.6 ± 0.6 mg/dL, n:38) and 189 ± 135 pg/ml in hypercalcemic group (Ca:11.4 ± 0.6 mg/dL, n:79) (p:0.072). The sex and ages were not different between the scintigraphy positive and negative groups, but the lesion detection rates with parathyroid scintigraphy were 42% in normocalcemic group and 81% in hypercalcemic group (p < 0.0001). Several factors including serum Ca, the imaging protocol, existence of multiglandular disease, the size and MIBI biokinetics of the adenoma may influence lesion detectability in parathyroid scintigraphy. Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi yang terus berkembang berperan penting dalam perkembangan suatu media pembelajaran. Salah satu media pembelajaran digital yang mendukung pembelajaran Biologi interaktif dan selaras dengan kemajuan teknologi adalah Augmented Reality. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media Augmented Reality dengan bantuan Assemblr Edu dan menilai dampak dari pemanfaatan media tersebut terhadap pemahaman siswa tentang materi Sistem Ekskresi. Penelitian Pengembangan (R&D) menggunakan model desain instruksional 4D adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan. Selain itu, metode penelitian pre-experimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest digunakan untuk mengukur efektivitas media Augmented Reality. 32 siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 30 Kota Tangerang, dua ahli media, dan dua ahli materi menjadi subjek penelitian yang diperoleh dengan purposive sampling. Uji coba instrumen tes pemahaman konsep melibatkan 39 siswa kelas IX sebagai peserta tes. Validasi ahli media dan ahli materi menghasilkan persentase masing-masing sebesar 89,3% dan 89,8%. Hal ini termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Pengukuran efektivitas media dengan N-Gain menghasilkan skor kategori tinggi sebesar 0,7113. Sebanyak 90% siswa memberikan respons yang sangat baik terhadap media Augmented Reality. Oleh karena itu, dapat dikatakan bahwa pembuatan media Augmented Reality dengan bantuan Assemblr Edu sangat layak untuk diterapkan dalam KBM dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep Sistem Ekskresi.

Abstract

Indonesia's renewable energy mix offers an alternative to conventional fossil fuels. Indonesia has made a significant commitment to the role of exploiting this new energy in accordance with the Paris Agreement. This paper proposes the design of a microgrid architecture for a solar and wind hybrid power plant with grid-connected configuration and micro-scale power plant modeling in Ciheras Village, Cipatujah District, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java. This architecture is divided into three scenarios in order to determine the best design qualities. The first scenario involves 50% photovoltaic (PV) and 50% wind turbine (WT), the second 60% PV and 40% WT, and the third 70% PV and 30% WT. The findings of the grid-connected microgrid were compared using supporting software, HOMER Pro. The various scenarios yielded performance analysis and renewable energy contribution. Modeling, calculation, simulation, and analysis demonstrate that the first scenario's potential energy output produces 25,655 kWh/year with an 88.2% Renewable Fraction (RF). The second scenario generates 26,194 kWh of energy per year, with a renewable fraction of 87.8%. The third scenario is the best based on the participation and role of distributed energy (PV-WT), with a higher amount of energy output of 30,691 kWh/year and a higher renewable proportion of 89%.

Based on the results of observations, it can be seen that the object of lease in the implementation of BMN leases in Manado KPKNL has covered all rental objects above, so Manado KPKNL expects reports from other work units and awareness of satker in reporting BMN after that KPKNL Manado takes investigative actions to the field , there are still many satker who complain about the high cost of rent. BMN leasing in Manado KPKNL is considered to be lacking, because there are still a lot of satker who have not fully understood the requirements for submitting the lease documents, so that when the lease application is submitted there are still many incomplete / incomplete requirements documents. Suggestions from penuis for KPKNL Manado are expected to be able to set a reasonable and affordable BMN rental price. Abstract

Tumour lysis syndrome (TLS) is a rare but serious complication of cancer treatment. It is generally seen in patients with high tumour load or chemosensitive tumour after chemotherapy and is more common with haematological malignancies like leukaemia and lymphoma when compared to solid tumours. TLS occurring after radiotherapy (RT) in patients with solid tumours is very rare. We aimed to present TLS seen after RT for a vertebral tumoral mass in a patient with metastatic adenocarcinoma of unknown origin. A 78-year-old woman, who was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of unknown origin, was hospitalized to undergo palliative RT for the vertebral mass. On the 1st day, 4 mg q6hour perioral dexamethasone was started. 300 cGy per session RT started on the 2nd day of hospitalization. After the fifth session of RT (after a total dose of 15 Gy), she developed TLS complicated with acute kidney injury requiring renal replacement therapy and she was successfully treated by haemodialysis. Close monitoring, even in patients with low risk for TLS and early administration of preventive modalities should be kept in mind. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Plasenta akreta spektrum merupakan kondisi obstetri yang memiliki resiko tinggi terjadinya perdarahan masif dan komplikasi terkait lainnya. Indeks Plasenta Akreta (IPA) diusulkan untuk memprediksi resiko perlekatan plasenta abnormal dengan probabilitas terjadinya invasi berbanding paralel dengan skor IPA. Tujuan: Mencari korelasi skor IPA dengan perdarahan yang terjadi intraoperatif pada pasien yang dilakukan seksio sesarea (SC) elektif di RSUP Dr. Sardjito Jogjakarta. Subjek dan Metode: Observasional retrospektif dengan melihat data rekam medis pasien dengan sangkaan plasenta akreta spektrum yang dilakukan pemeriksaan skor indeks plasenta akreta dan dilakukan SC elektif di RSUP Dr. Sardjito periode Januari 2019 sampai Desember 2021. Hasil: Terdapat korelasi yang bermakna antara skor IPA dan perdarahan SC intraoperatif (p=0,001) dengan arah korelasi positif dan kekuatan korelasi dalam kategori sedang (r=0,495). Skor IPA (B=389; p=0.013) dan durasi operasi (B=18,1, p=0.001) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap jumlah perdarahan SC intraoperatif dalam penelitian ini. Simpulan: Terdapat korelasi positif sedang antara skor IPA dengan jumlah perdarahan SC intraoperatif pada pasien sangkaan plasenta akreta spektrum yang dilakukan SC elektif di RSUP Dr. Sardjito Jogjakarta

dede, dogu omur/0000-0003-1021-5702 WOS: 000379612800002 PubMed: 27111671 Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of carbon dioxide (CO2) and Erbium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Er:YAG) laser irradiations on the shear bond strength (SBS) of differently sintered zirconia ceramics to resin cement. Materials and methods: Eighty zirconia specimens were prepared, sintered in two different periods (short = Ss, long = Ls), and divided into four treatment groups (n = 10 each). These groups were (a) untreated (control), (b) Er: YAG laser irradiated with 6W power for 5 sec, (c) CO2 laser with 2W power for 10 sec, (d) CO2 laser with 4W power for 10 sec. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) images were recorded for each of the eight groups. Eighty composite resin discs (3 x 3 mm) were fabricated and cemented with an adhesive resin cement to ceramic specimens. The SBS test was performed after specimens were stored in water for 24 h by an universal testing machine at a crosshead speed of 1 mm/min. Data were statistically analyzed with two way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey honest significant difference (HSD) test (a = 0.05). Results: According to the ANOVA, the sintering time, surface treatments and their interaction were statistically significant (p < 0.05). Although each of the laser-irradiated groups were significantly higher than the control groups, there was no statistically significant difference among them (p > 0.05). Conclusions: Variation in sintering time from 2.5 to 5.0 h may have influenced the SBS of Yttrium-stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystalline (Y-TZP) ceramics. Although CO2 and Er: YAG laser irradiation techniques may increase the SBS values of both tested zirconia ceramics, they are recommended for clinicians as an alternative pretreatment method.

Abstract

Non-dipper hypertensive patients have a higher risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) than dipper hypertensive patients. Inflammation plays an important role in the pathogenesis and progression of CVD. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and dipper and non-dipper hypertension.This prospective study included 199 consecutive patients that were diagnosed with primary hypertension. According to ambulatory blood pressure monitoring measurements, non-dipper and dipper group were determined. PLR was determined based on the platelet count and lymphocyte count in the complete blood count.The non-dipper group included 103 patients (74 females and 29 males; mean age: 52.37 ± 10.7 years) and the dipper group included 96 patients (65 females and 31 males; mean age: 48.40 ± 11.1 years). Mean systolic blood pressure was significantly higher in the non-dipper group than in the dipper group (124 ± 15.1 mmHg versus 120 ± 11.2 mmHg, p =0.032) and the median PLR was significantly higher in the non-dipper group than in the dipper group [132.15 (range: 69.64-400) versus 117.0 (range: 53.52-192.26), p = 0.001], whereas the mean white blood cell count (6.86 ± 1.43 × 10³/ μL versus 7.24 ± 1.26 × 10³/μL, p =0.046) and median lymphocyte count [2.09 (range: 0.95-3.92) × 10³/μL versus 2.24 (range: 0.97-3.98) × 10³/μL, p =0.001) were significantly lower in the non-dipper group.Median PLR was significantly higher in the non-dipper hypertensive patients than in the dipper hypertensive patients. Abstract

It is a fact that language is dynamic, and nothing can not stop it from changing. This dynamism has implications for the use of various languages among Indonesians. The youth mostly uses it because they are active and massive users of technology and social media. This research aims to describe the form and character of the linguistic variation of slang which is popularly used by the millennial generation. In this study, data is taken from social media, and direct informants then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that four types of linguistic variation of slang which is popularly used by the millennial generation such phonology (32,29%), morphology (22,92%), syntax (4,17%), and semantics aspect (40, 63%). Based on the results, the millennial generation’s most dominant type of semantics aspect with 39 data (40, 63%). It means that millennials preferred using more slang utterances modified in semantic elements. Millennials did not completely change or create many new meanings. They retained the meanings of existing references only in the forms of new terms.
