Background: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) global pandemic, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), began in late 2019. Researchers around the world are aggressively working to develop a vaccine. One of the vaccines approved against COVID-19 is Oxford-AstraZeneca chimpanzee adenovirus vectored vaccine ChAdOx1 nCoV-19., Case Report: We described a patient who developed four limb distal paraesthesia, postural instability, and facial diplegia, ten days after vaccination with ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 (ABW1277). The electrophysiological findings were compatible with acute demyelinating motor polyneuropathy (Guillain-Barrè syndrome)., Discussion: We therefore want to describe a temporal correlation between administration of ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 (ABW1277) vaccine and GBS without evidence of other predisposing infectious or autoimmune factors. This paper aims to highlight the importance of pharmacovigilance and subsequent reports will be needed to evaluate the possible correlation between these two events., (© 2021. Tourism is capable of distributing wealth and participating substantially in the economic development of many countries. However, to ensure these benefits, the planning, management, and monitoring of a sustainable offer become crucial. Despite the increasingly widespread attention to sustainability in this sector, however, the concept of sustainable tourism still appears fragmented and fuzzy. The theoretical frameworks used in many studies often reduce sustainability to its environmental or social aspects and consider such pillars as separate issues. Furthermore, although most studies acknowledge that a potentially wide number of stakeholders play a role in sustainable tourism production, they have so far focused on host communities, tourism producers, or tourists themselves independently. Fewer explorations have addressed simultaneously different stakeholders, their perceptions of sustainable tourism experience, and the various concerns and tensions that may arise. This study aims to investigate sustainability issues in tourism by considering the voices of two relevant stakeholders involved in "co-producing" the tourism experience: tourists and tour operators. Based on a qualitative study conducted in Italy, the article critically discusses how travelers and tour operators craft the sustainability idea, the implicit assumptions that rely on their different perspectives, and their practical implications. The results highlight four different narratives on sustainable tourism, which are related to different assumptions on sustainability and actions legitimated to generate sustainable value. Background: Menstrually-related headache and headaches associated with oestrogen withdrawal are common conditions, whose pathophysiology has not been completely elucidated. In this study we evaluated the influence of combined hormonal contraceptives (CHC) on pain threshold in women presenting migraine attacks during hormone-free interval., Findings: Eleven women with migraine attacks recurring exclusively during the oestrogen-withdrawal period were studied with the nociceptive flexion reflex, a neurophysiological assessment of the pain control systems, during the third week of active treatment and during the hormone-free interval. During the hormone-free interval, nociceptive withdrawal reflex threshold was significantly lower (12.8 ± 8.0 mA) as compared to the third week of hormonal treatment (15.6 ± 6.6 mA) (p = 0.02). No change was observed in the pain perceived and in the temporal summation., Conclusions: Oestrogen withdrawal may mediate an increased sensitivity to somatosensory stimuli in women with migraine attacks recurring during the hormone-free interval.

The objective was to evaluate the effectiveness of the indicators prepregnancy weight and prepregnancy body mass index in the categorization of the nutritional state of the pregnant woman. The study group was formed by 109 pregnant women. They were evaluated in the first trimester of the pregnancy, at the "Centro de Atención Nutricional Infantil Antímano". In each one of them the nutritional state was classified according to three criteria: integral nutritional diagnosis, prepregnancy weight and prepregnancy body mass index. For the evaluation of the effectiveness of the diagnostic criteria, the other two approaches were compared with the integral nutritional diagnosis. The analysis of the frequency, sensibility, specificity and predictive values were applied. The integral nutritional diagnosis showed: 75.2% (n = 82) well-nourished and 14.8% (n = 27) undernourished. The sensibility of the prepregnancy weight was 0.93 and of the prepregnancy body mass index was 0.52, with a positive predictive value of 0.60 and 0.82 respectively. The specificity of the first indicator was 0.79 and of the second was 0.96, with negative predictive value of 0.97 and 0.86 respectively. The pregnancy weight demonstrated to be effective to diagnosis undernourished women.

To analyze the behavior of the anthropometric measures during gestation in teenagers and adults pregnant women. The study group was formed by 81 well nourished, healthy pregnant women, 14 teenagers and 67 adults. They were evaluated at Centro de Atención Nutricional Infantil "Antímano". The anthropometric criteria included at least five anthropometric evaluations: one in the first trimester of pregnancy, two in the second and two in the third. The anthropometric variable mean was obtained from each one of the pregnant women in each of their corresponding visits during the first, second and third trimester. The descriptive statistics of the studied anthropometric variables were calculated. Student' t test was applied. There were significant changes during pregnancy in weight, wrist, waist, abdomen, waist-hip, hip-gluteal, thigh and calf circumferences and body mass index in teenagers and adults. There were significant changes during gestation in a lying down position height in teenagers and mid-arm circumference in adults. There was significant difference in change from the first to the third trimester of gestation, between teenagers and adults in the calf circumference. The studied anthropometric variables presented the same behavior during gestation in adolescents and adults, unless the mid-upper arm circumference.
