In this thesis, a model to describe the flexophotovoltaic effect is formulated by coupling the flexoelectricity equations with the drift-diffusion current equations. The resulting system of non-linear PDEs is numerically implemented using B-splines and is solved following a staggered scheme. The implementation of the model has been validated and some examples showing flexophotovoltaics are presented.
