As part of developing and researching a virtual reality (VR) game intended to increase access to and broaden participation in STEM learning, designers and researchers from EdGE at TERC and interns from Landmark College, a post-secondary institute for learners with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other learning differences, have been immersed in an intensive co-design process. Co-design embraces the ‘nothing about us without us’ movement by ensuring stakeholder voices, in this case neurodiverse learners, have a prominent role throughout the design process. We present our co-design process, key lessons learned, important game-design decisions, and the experiences and perspectives of individual co-design participants. And recommendations are provided to help guide others who are interested in implementing a co-design process of their own.

The burden of disease in Indonesia from mental disorders is 13.4%. People with re-hospitalized mental disorders become a burden on the family, and the determinants of this behavior include age, gender, education, and work and family knowledge. The study aimed to analyze the determinants of rehospitalization at the Regional Psychiatric Hospital Lampung Province. Methods; This type of quantitative research with cross-sectional design. The family population of ODGJ. The research sample comprised 404 people who completed interviews with 5 informants. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate (chi-square) multivariate analysis (multiple logistic regression). Result; there was no relationship between age (p= 0.459), gender (p= 0.251), and occupation (p=0.191) with rehospitalization. Meanwhile, the education variable (p=0.018; OR=2.060) and family knowledge (p=0.000; OR=3.107) showed a significant relationship with rehospitalization. The results of multivariate analysis showed that the most dominant determinant of rehospitalization was family knowledge (p=0.000; OR=3.04) after controlling for education variables. Conclusions and Suggestions: Age, gender, and occupation are not determinants of rehospitalization while education and knowledge of the family are determinants of rehospitalization in the Lampung Provincial Hospital. This study suggests education about the benefits of re-hospitalization: Provide clear and comprehensive information to patients and their families about the benefits of re-hospitalization.

This study aims to see whether or not the reality approach group counseling service is effective in improving the self-resilience of broken home students at SMK Kosgoro 2 Payakumbuh. This study used a true experimental design, namely the pretest-posttets control group design in which the population was 60 people and the research sample was 22 people. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistics with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. The results of the study were related to the reality approach group counseling in improving the self- resilience of broken home students, so the statistical test results from the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test showed that W_count ≥ Wtable (66 ≥11) with Z = -2.93 and from the statistical results theasymptotic sig value (2-tailed) 0.003. Because for the 2-way test of 0.05, sig 0.003 ≤ 0.05 with Z = -2.93. These data indicate that the reality approach group counseling approach is effective in improving the self-resilience of broken home student.

Background:. There is debate amongst surgeons regarding the use of antibiotics to prevent fistulae after palatoplasty. Prescribing should be evidence based, as antibiotic stewardship is integral to reducing antibiotic resistance. Our aim was to determine whether differing perioperative regimens affect the prevalence of postoperative fistulae. Methods:. The sample comprised participants from the Cleft Collective who had undergone palatoplasty. Participants were recruited across all 16 UK cleft centers between 2013 and 2021. The exposure was perioperative antibiotic regimen prescribed at the time of palatoplasty. The primary outcome was the presence of palatal fistula. Results:. Fistula data were available for 167 participants when exploring antibiotic regimen and for 159 when exploring antibiotic agent. There was no evidence to suggest a difference in fistula rate between those receiving antibiotics on induction only versus as an inpatient or up to 7 days postoperatively (χ2 = 4.57; P = 0.10). There was no evidence to suggest a difference in fistula rate between those who received co-amoxiclav and those who had an alternative antibiotic (χ2 = 0.16; P = 0.69). Postoperative fistulae increased with the extent of the cleft (χ2 = 20.39; P < 0.001). When adjusting for cleft type, no evidence of an association between antibiotic regimen and fistulae was found (inpatient antibiotics: OR 1.36; 95% confidence interval, 0.53–3.51; antibiotics up to 7 days postoperatively: OR 0.68; 95% confidence interval, 0.26–1.80). Conclusions:. The choice of antibiotic and dosing regimen does not influence the formation of postoperative fistulae. These results should be supported by interventional trials.

Education and learning require collaboration from various aspects, including the involvement of school committees as community representatives in education. The law of education mandates active roles of school committees in improving educational services in schools. However, there are still various problems in implementing the roles and duties of school committees, including constraints in empowerment that still need to be optimally fulfilled in the functions and roles in schools. This research aims to analyze the extent to which the implementation of roles and duties of school committees in Senior High Schools in Limapuluh Kota Regency. The type of research method used is quantitative descriptive with a survey method. This research was conducted at Senior Senior High Schools in Limapuluh Kota Regency, with a sample size of 251 teachers as respondents. Data was collected using a questionnaire instrument while the Aiken and the Construct Validity test using Product Moment Correlation. The reliability test was checked using Alpha Cronbash and the technique of data analysis used descriptive statistical methods, specifically calculating percentages based on the data measured using the Likert scale. Based on the research, data were obtained for the four roles of school committees that can be measured numerically. The school committee has proper roles in fulfilling the responsibility as an advisory agency, a supporting agency, a controlling agency, and a mediator agency. The results of this study indicate that the roles and duties of the school committee in Senior High School in Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota already perform good responsibilities. However, there is still a need for efforts to strengthen and enhance the roles and duties of the school committee in Senior High Schools in Limapuluh Kota Regency.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan kegiatan implementasi link and match di SMKN 1 Sungai Rumbai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian studi kasus. Informan penelitian adalah: kepala sekolah, ketua panitia pelaksana Program, kepala konsentrasi keahlian yang diunggulkan, wakil kepalah bidang kurikulum, satu orang panitia Prakerin dan dua orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara: triangulasi data, mereduksi data, penyajin data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan SMKN 1 Sungai Rumbai sudah melaksanakan fungsi manajemen dalam melaksanakan Program SMK PK yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Perencanaan dilakukan melalui 1) Membedah Keputusan Menteri mengenai link and match, 2) Melakukan kolaborasi dengan tim yang dibentuk khusus untuk program link and match. Tahap pelaksanaan implementasi link and match, SMKN 1 Sungai Rumbai, melakukan delapan kegiatan yang terdiri dari 1). Penyelarasan kurikulum, 2). Kelas Industri, 3). Program Guru Industri, 4). Praktek Kerja Industri, 5). Sertifikasi kompetensi, 6). Update teknologi dari DUDI, 7). Riset terapan, dan 8). Pemberian dana hibah oleh perusahaan dalam bentuk alat praktek siswa. Pada tahap pengawasan terhadap kegiatan link and match di SMKN 1 Sungai Rumbai dilakukan secara internal dan eksternal. Pengawasan internal dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah, sedangkan pengawasan eksternal dilakukan oleh pihak kementerian bidang vokasi.

Dengan perkembangan teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan yang meningkat dengan pesat saat ini, dimana kebutuhan teknologi informasi semakin diperlukan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat yang diharapkan dapat mendukung dalam menyelesaikan berbagai masalah, khususnya masalah yang umumnya sering terjadi pada lingkungan perumahan warga seperti, pendataan hunian warga yang rentan akan kesalahan pencatatan, kesalahan pencatatan laporan keuangan warga, minimnya penyampaian informasi dari pengurus RT/RW, serta iuran warga yang dinilai tidak transparan. Hal tersebut dapat diminimalkan dengan membuat perancangan teknologi informasi dengan metode agile development untuk membuat suatu sistem informasi yang modern berbasis aplikasi seluler. Hasil yang didapat adalah aplikasi mobile yang dapat digunakan pengurus untuk mengevaluasi pendataan hunian data warga di perumahan, pencatatan laporan keuangan pengurus, dan laporan iuran bulanan pengurus yang dapat dilihat melalui aplikasi ini.

This research has revealed the decline in students' cognitive abilities in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The decline in students' cognitive abilities in studying independently at home by completing various tasks without classmates. This study aims to determine how integrated learning can improve students' cognitive abilities happened in learning the Qur'an and hadith. The research method with an experimental quantitative approach was carried out to measure students' cognitive abilities through integrated learning, in the class XI State Madrasah Aliyah Padang Japang Payakumbuh student group with a research sample of 17. The experimental group was treated with the connected type of integrated learning treated The research applied pre-test post-test control group design. Before the treatment of the sample group, a pre-test was carried out, and after the learning was carried out a post-test. The results showed that there was a significant increase in students' cognitive knowledge through connected type of integrated learning in learning the Qur'an Hadith of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Padang Japang Payakumbuh with an average pretest score of 32.17 and an average post-test score of 48.47. Thus, improving students' cognitive abilities can be done through integrated learning.

This research aimed to develop and validate the construction private Islamic high school model. This research method is research and development, Borg Gall model. The sample of 40 people consisted of foundation administrators, principals, vice-principals, and senior teachers. The assessment of the model was requested by the model users with a total of 20 people consisting of the principal and the head of the foundation. The study's data collections are through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and Delphi. The product to be developed is focused on management functions. Test the validity of the instrument using confirmation factor analysis. Based on the trial results, it had known the instrument used was valid and reliable. Analysis of the assessment results using Aiken found that the lowest V index was 0.625 and the highest was 0.775 with a rate of 20 people, and the rating category of 5 was obtained Vt = 0.64 with p = 0.05. Thus the entire Vo ≥ Vt, except in item 10 with a value of 0.625, but this number can be categorized quite well. Secara teoritis kinerja guru dipengaruhi oleh iklim sekolah dan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya (1) kontribusi iklim sekolah (X1) terhadap kinerja guru (Y), (2) kontribusi gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (X2) terhadap kinerja guru (Y), dan (3) kontribusi iklim sekolah (X1) dan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (X2) terhadap kinerja guru (Y). Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode ex post- facto. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Populasi penelitian adalah guru SD Negeri Gugus 1 Kecamatan Gunung Talang Kabupaten Solok sebanyak 105 orang yang terbagi dalam strata S1 dan non S1. Sample penelitian dipilih dengan teknik stratified proposional random sampling berjumlah sebanyak 79 orang guru. Intrumen penelitian berupa angket dengan menggunakan skala likert. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan SPSS versi 20.0. Berdasarkan pengolahan data diperoleh hasil (1) terdapat kontribusi X1 terhadap Y yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikan 0,0000,05 sehingga H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak, (3) terdapat kontribusi X1 dan X2 terhadap Y yang ditunjukkan oleh signifikan 0,000

This article aims to describe the application of the Logic Model in the Evaluation of New Student Admissions (PPDB) Online. The research used is field research using a quantitative descriptive approach and evaluation methods. To describe the evaluation of PPDB used, a logic model (logic model). The components to be evaluated include input, activity, and output components. The research was conducted at a public high school in the Dharmasraya district. The data source for this research is the PPDB committee consisting of principals, teachers, and education staff, totaling 140 people. The data collection technique used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire with the content validity test using the Aiken test and the construct validity test applying the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). After that, the reliability test was carried out, and continued to analyze the data using descriptive statistics with central tendency. The results were obtained in evaluating the PPDB program at SMA Negeri in Dharmasraya Regency with a logic model covering input, activity, and output components. Achievement of quality on the input component with good category. Achievement of quality in the activity component with a good class. In contrast, the achievement of quality in the output component is categorized as good. Overall, the three branches of online PPDB quality achievement at SMA Negeri in Dharmasraya district are classified as good, with an average of 82.10. This condition must be maintained and evaluated periodically to improve the following year's PPDB.

IntroductionSARS-CoV-2 is fundamentally a respiratory pathogen with a wide spectrum of symptoms. The COVID-19 related pancreatitis is less considered than other clinical features. The purpose is to describe two cases of pancreatitis associated with COVID-19.MethodologyPatients' demographics, clinical features, laboratory, and instrumental findings were collected.ResultsTwo patients admitted to the hospital were diagnosed with COVID-19 and severe acute pancreatitis, according to the Atlanta criteria. Other causes of acute pancreatitis were excluded. Treatment included broad-spectrum antibiotics, proton pump inhibitors, and low molecular weight heparin. Steroids, oxygen, antifungal treatment, and pain killers were administered when appropriate. Both patients were asymptomatic, with normal vital parameters and blood exams, and were discharged in a good condition.ConclusionIt is recommendable to include lipase and amylase on laboratory routine tests in order to evaluate the need for the abdominal CT-scan and specific therapy before hospital admission of the patients with COVID-19 related life-threatening acute pancreatitis.

Difficulties faced by STMIK Pontianak students while choosing an Android smartphone are the diversity of brands, types, series and specifications makes it hard to choose which is the best. Determine that matches to needs along with an appropriate budget also difficult. This research aims to design a reference system for selecting an Android smartphone to resolve the problem. This system was developed using the Fuzzy C-Means algorithm and TOPSIS. The research method used is survey. Software design uses agile with extreme programming models also White-Box Testing, cluster center testing, and acceptance testing. This research found a method to get an alternative group that matches to the user from existing cluster by Euclidean Distance. This research produces a system that can clustering smartphone data and provide references in the form of alternatives that matches to the user. The test results using White-Box Testing produce all functions running well. Testing the cluster center using MSE gets the central error values ​​C1: 1.8481, C2: 2.5316, and C3: 1.8214. Acceptance tesing results above 70%. Weaknesses in this system do not discuss lifestyle needs in choosing an Android smartphone. The criteria used in this research is still technical and not use non-technical criteria.

The study is aimed at finding the differences in students’ academic achievement based on the admission system type to IAIN Batusangkar and the size of the contribution of admission systems to students’ achievement. The study uses the quantitative research approach. The comparative multivariate technique is used for the data analysis. Subjects include 159 student candidates for the local-exam stream, 161 for the national-exam stream, and 123 for the achievement-based stream. Findings show that there is a significant difference in academic achievement between students admitted through the achievement stream and students admitted through the local and national-exam streams. There is no significant difference between the local-exam system and the national-exam system. The contribution of admission systems over academic achievement is 5.4%; specified: 5.2% for Semester I, 2.3% for Semester II, 3.8% for Semester III, 4.1% for Semester IV, and 4.4% for Semester V.

Organic waste accounts for half of the urban waste generated inBrazil, 30% of which originates from fruit. In the search for new alternatives to reuse this biomass, the present study evaluated ethanol production from banana, apple, orange and papaya biomasses generated in commercial establishments in the city ofVassouras/RJ. The distilled products from the fruit biomass fermentation process were characterized regarding volatile compounds, acetaldehyde, acetone, ethyl acetate, ethanol, methanol, higher alcohols, isopropanol and isoamylic. The results indicate promising alcohol content according to the literature.
