This study specifically focuses on the relationship between educational achievement, family climate, and gender dynamics. The study aims to explore how family climate influences the academic performance of senior secondary students, with a particular emphasis on gender-related aspects within the specified geographic area of rural Assam. A descriptive survey method was adopted for the study to comprehensively explore and understand the academic preparedness and educational challenges faced by Class XII students in the Khowang Development Block of Dibrugarh district of Assam. The comprehensive survey involved a diverse sample of students from various educational institutions of Khowang Development Block under the administrative jurisdiction of Inspector of Schools, Dibrugarh District Circle. In the study, academic performance metrics were analyzed alongside the assessments of family climate, gauging the similarities and differences between genders. The study reveals the positive impact of family climate on students' educational achievements. The correlation between a conducive family environment and enhanced academic performance was found to be substantial, emphasizing the pivotal role of family dynamics in shaping educational success. The academic achievement of both Boys and Girls is found to be almost equal. There is a high positive impact of family climate on the academic achievement of the students. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
