The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of learning to identify elements of news text with the EARTH method for class VIII students, to describe the effectiveness of learning to identify elements of news text using the PQRST method for class VIII students, and to find out which methods are more effective in identifying learning news text elements using the EARTH method and the PQRST method in class VIII students. The research design used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study were students of class VIII A and class VIII B of SMP Plus Mekarmukti. The research data used in the study were the test value before being given treatment (pretest) and the test value after being given treatment (postest) in the sample class. The results showed that the EARTH method was effective in learning to identify elements of news text because sig. (2tailed) was 0.000 so that sig 0.05, the PQRST method was effective in learning to identify elements of news text because sig. (2tailed) is 0,000 so that sig 0.05, the PQRST method is more effective in learning to identify elements of news text because the average value of the PQRST learning process is 85.18%, the average attitude value is 89.624%, and the average value The average on the results after being given treatment (posttest) is 80.15 while learning using the EARTH method has an average process value of 82.4025%, the average on attitude assessment is 88.144%, and the average acquisition on the results after being given treatment (postest) was 79.33.

This research has a background of low student learning outcomes in grade 5 theme 6 at SDN I Barusuda, sub-district, Garut City. It is known that students have daily test scores that do not reach the specified KKM score.The purpose of this study was to increase the activity and learning outcomes of students by using interactive media PowerPoint for students of Class V Theme 6 at SDN I Barusuda, Cigedug District, Garut Regency. The research method using Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of 3 cycles with 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study is students of class V with a total of 30 people. Data collection techniques useing observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. While the data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the average percentage of student activity classically has increased. In the pre-cycle before treatment, it was 65%, in the first cycle it was 69%, in the second cycle, it was 74% while in the third cycle it was 87%. While the percentage of mastery learning outcomes in the pre-cycle is 33%, in the first cycle it is 33%, in the second cycle, it is 73%, while in the third cycle it is 90%. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan selama dua bulan, yakni bulan April dan Mei 2019. Selama dua bulan itu yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah menyerahkan surat izin penelitian ke sekolah yang dituju, menentukan observer penelitian, menentukan sampel dan populasi, menyiapkan silabus, RPP, media model pembelajaran mobile learning yang berbasis android, instrumen soal, dan instrumen lembar jawaban. Kemudian dilakukan pretest untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa sebelum mengikuti proses pembelaaran baik aspek pengetahuan maupun aspek keterampilan, setelah itu dilaksanakan proses pembelajaran di mana kelas eksperimen diterapkan model pembelajaran mobile learning yang berbasis android sedang di kelas kontrol diterapkan model pembelajaran konvensional, dan pada pertemuan berikutnya dilaksanakan posttest di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan dengan menggunakan instrument soal aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang sama. Dan dari hasil pretest dan posttest didapatkan hasil prestasi yang sangat berbeda antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, di mana kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran mobile learning yang berbasis android mendapatkan nilai yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model konvensional. Menelaah dari hasil tersebut peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran mobile learning yang berbasis android dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada pelajaran Bahasa Inggris dan model pebelajaran mobile learning direkomendasikan oleh peneliti sebagai model pembelajaran yang cocok digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran baik Bahasa Inggris maupun pelajaran lainnya.

Policies taken by Indonesia were disbursing all educational activities, making the government and related institutions present alternative educational processes for students by conducting online learning. This research aims to determine how far VCDLN is a learning medium in social distancing for teachers who study at Institut Pendidikan Indonesia (IPI). VCDLN is a Virtual Community Digital Learning Network to confirm the design for distance, Blended, and Mobile learning services that are easy, cheap, broad, and anchor to all corners of the archipelago through multi-platform mobile telecommunications, such as Android, IOS, Streaming, LCJ, YouTube, and TVUPI. Satellite. The research method is the qualitative research method. The data collecting technique used google form. The research subjects were teachers from post-graduate students of Educational Technology Program Class 16 and 17 at Institut Pendidikan Indonesia. Out of 54 students, they have taken advantage of VCDLN as a platform to teach during online learning. The data showed that 70% of the respondents thought that VCDLN is effective for online course activities. The results showed that the VCDLN platform is quite effective in learning; however, some participants believe that using the VCDLN platform is considered less effective due to several factors. Although VCDLN is considered less effective in some cases, this platform is considered more efficient and practical for students. Au 27 avril 2020, environ 1,7 milliard d'élèves étaient touchés par la pandémie. Les politiques prises par l'Indonésie bouleversaient toutes les activités éducatives, obligeant le gouvernement et les institutions connexes à présenter des processus éducatifs alternatifs aux étudiants en organisant un apprentissage en ligne. Cette recherche vise à déterminer dans quelle mesure le VCDLN est un moyen d'apprentissage de la distanciation sociale pour les étudiants de l'Institut Pendidikan Indonesia (IPI). En effet, VCDLN est un réseau d'apprentissage numérique communautaire virtuel chargé de valider les dispositifs d'apprentissage en ligne, hybrides et mobiles, faciles d'utilisation, bon marché, larges et accessibles dans l'ensemble de l'archipel grâce aux télécommunications mobiles multiplateformes, telles qu'Android, IOS, Streaming, LCJ, YouTube et TVUPI Satellite. L'étude est basée sur la méthode de recherche qualitative. La technique de collecte de données s'est faite par le biais d'un formulaire Google. Les sujets de recherche étaient des étudiants de troisième cycle des classes 16 et 17 du programme de technologie éducative de l'Institut Pendidikan Indonesia. Les 54 étudiants concernés ont profité du VCDLN comme plateforme pour enseigner pendant l'apprentissage en ligne. Les données ont montré que 70 % des répondants pensaient que le VCDLN est efficace pour les activités de cours en ligne. Les résultats ont montré que la plateforme VCDLN est assez efficace dans l'apprentissage ; cependant, certains participants croient que l'utilisation de la plateforme VCDLN est considérée comme moins efficace en raison de plusieurs facteurs. Bien que VCDLN soit considéré comme moins efficace dans certains cas, cette plateforme est considérée comme plus efficace et pratique pour les étudiants.

English is more influence in all aspects of life. It has function as a tools of communication in the world. English in each of the country to be the first language, second language, and foreign language. In Indonesia, as long as pandemic covid-19 the status of English instruction as a interesting foreign language. This aim refers to design e –learning based english language learning by using ADDIE model for English Education Departement. Designing instruction that involves five procedures ; Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE). Analyze, it will be identify the probable causes for a performance gap of Virtual Community Digital Learning Nusantara (VCDLN) to know student needs, and determine the objective of learning . Design, verify the desired performances and appropriate testing methods. Develop, generate and validate the learning resources. Implement, prepare the learning environment and engage the students. Evaluate, assess the quality of the instructional products and processes, both before and after implementation. DBR method was chosen to support the design. Mastery in English was effected from synchronous and asynchronous of e-learning. ADDIE model will bring E-learning based- English instruction in English Education Department as VCDLN Strategic Implementation in Pandemic Covid-19. L'anglais a plus d'influence dans tous les aspects de la vie. Il a fonction d'outil de communication dans le monde. Dans la des pays, elle est la première langue, la deuxième ou la langue étrangère. Le statut de l'enseignement de l'anglais comme langue étrangère est intéressante à observer notamment pendant la pandémie du Covid 19 en Indonésie. Il s'agira ici d'observer la conception d'un dispositif d'apprentissage de la langue anglaise basé sur l'apprentissage en ligne suivant le modèle ADDIE. Cela consiste à concevoir une instruction qui implique cinq procédures ; Analyser, concevoir, développer, mettre en œuvre et évaluer (ADDIE). Analyser, cela signifie identifier les causes probables d'un écart de performance du Virtual Community Digital Learning Nusantara (VCDLN) afin de connaître les besoins des élèves, et de déterminer l'objectif d'apprentissage. Concevoir revient à vérifier les performances souhaitées et les méthodes d'essai appropriées. Développer c'est générer et valider les ressources d'apprentissage. Mettre en œuvre consiste à préparer l'environnement d'apprentissage et engager les étudiants. Évaluer concerne la qualité des produits et processus pédagogiques, avant et après la mise en œuvre. La méthode DBR a été choisie pour soutenir la conception. La maîtrise de l'anglais s'est effectuée à partir de l'e-learning synchrone et asynchrone. Le modèle ADDIE apportera un enseignement en anglais basé sur l'apprentissage en ligne dans le département de l'éducation anglaise dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre stratégique du VCDLN durant la pandémie de Covid-19.

The rapid development of technology in this era has aaffected to education sector. Nowadays, Gadget or smartphone has become a technology that been used in learning process, especially in an application which can develop students cognitive abilities. We cannot deny that young age student more likely play with their own gadget than study or reading a book. The result of the observation shows that the second grade of elementary school still use a conventional learning media such as; using a real object as a property for counting, moreover students score on math have not reach the expected result. Therefore researchers developed a digital abacus based on m-learning. The method used in designing this abacus media uses the Design and Development (D & D) method with the following research procedures 1) identification of problems, (2) description of objectives, (3) design and development of media, (4) evaluation of trial results, (5) communicate the results of the trial. The results of this study are a product of learning media in the form of an android / mobile learning abacus application, with the level of media feasibility in a very good category. The category was obtained from the results of the review of material experts and media experts. Each expert gives a 90% assessment for material quality and 87.5% for media quality. Abstrak. Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat pada era ini merambah ke dunia pendidikan. Gadget atau smartphone merupakan salah satu teknologi yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran, tentunya dengan aplikasi yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa anak. Tidak di pungkiri bahwa anak-anak usia sekolah zaman sekarang sangat senang bermain dengan gadget atau smartphone di banding belajar atau membaca buku. Hasil observasi dilapangan menunjukan bahwa proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar khususnya di tingkat kelas II SDN 072 Sukasari masih menggunakan media konvensional seperti benda yang ada di sekitar di jadikan alat peraga dalam belajar berhitung, selain itu nilai siswa di sekolah belum mencapai tingkat belajar yang maksimal pada pelajaran matematika. Oleh karena itu peneliti mengembangkan media sempoa digital berbasis m-learning. Metode yang digunakan dalam merancang media sempoa ini menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan prosedur penelitian sebagai berikut 1) identifikasi masalah, (2) deskripsi tujuan, (3) desain dan pengembangan media, (4) evaluasi hasil ujicoba, (5) mengomunikasikan hasil uji coba. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah produk media pembelajaran berbentuk aplikasi sempoa berbasis android/mobile learning, dengan tingkat kelayakan media dalam kategori sangat baik. Kategori tersebut di dapatkan dari hasil penilian ahli materi dan ahli media. Masing-masing ahli memberikan penilaian 90% untuk kualitas materi dan 87,5% untuk kualitas media.

The problems of this research is the influence of students writing skills in subjects Indonesian applying media-assisted learning model sinektik poster in the Junior high school Laboratory UPI Cibiru, while general purpose implementation of this study is to describe and analyze the influence of students writing skills in subjects Indonesian applying media-assisted learning model sinektik poster in the Junior High School Laboratory Cibiru UPI. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental, using a quantitative approach, and the design of the study is Nonequivalen (Pre-Test and Post-Test) Control Group Design, while population studies class VII as many as 150 people with a sample of 30 people, using cluster sampling technique. Based on the research results obtained in the field, in general it can be concluded that: 1) The media-assisted learning model sinektik poster has effects on improvement of students writing skills in Indonesian Language subject in the Junior High School Laboratory Cibiru UPI. 2) prewritings aspects of students writing skills, writing aspects, and aspects that apply pascawritings learning model sinektik higher than those who did not use sinektik learning model in the Junior High School Laboratory Cibiru UPI.ABSTRAK, Rumusan masalah umum dari penelitian ini adalah pengaruh kemampuan menulis siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran sinektik berbantuan media poster di SMP Laboratorium UPI Cibiru, sedangkan tujuan umum dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh kemampuan menulis siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran sinektik berbantuan media poster di SMP Laboratorium UPI Cibiru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalen (Pre-Test Dan Post-Test) Control Grup Design, sedangkan populasi penelitiannya kelas VII sebanyak 150 orang dengan sampel 30 orang, dengan menggunakan teknik penyampelan klaster. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh di lapangan, secara umum dapat di simpulkan bahwa: 1) model pembelajaran sinektik berbantuan media poster memiliki pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menulis siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa indonesia di SMP Laboratorium UPI Cibiru. 2) kemampuan menulis siswa aspek prapenulisan, aspek penulisan, dan aspek pascapenulisan yang menerapkan model pembelajaran sinektik lebih tinggi dibanding dengan yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran sinektik di SMP Laboratorium UPI Cibiru.
