A series of biodiversity conservation campaign since 1980s and the establishment of Siberut National Park on Siberut Island (West Sumatra, Indonesia) have seriously unsettled the relationship between the Mentawai and forest as well as between the Mentawai with powerful external agencies. For the Mentawai, forest and nature should be managed and utilized. Claiming and contesting forests have been part of the Mentawai social fabric and histories, while cultivating and transforming them into social spaces (agroforest, sago garden, settlements) and extracting uncultivated animals and plants are valued human activities and important criteria in the construction of Mentawai personhood. The park has tried to persuade people keeping the forest intact and not using and transforming it. The establishment of the park also implies that the state claims the land and the forest. This paper argues that establishing a national park and protecting forests contradicts the value of productive activities and the history of human labour attached and spent on the land and forest. The resistance over forest protection offers vital clues in understanding how producing nature is inseparable from producing humans and discusses how people can coexist with forests and nonhuman entities, not just by conserving it, but by transforming it. Understanding the mutual production and transformation of human nature is crucial to the future of biodiversity conservation activities on the island.

A tomato is classified as a fruit, which level of maturity is determined by its color. Upon distribution, tomatoes require sorting based on their ripeness level. Generally making improvements done conventionally with the human eye. This method has the disadvantage that the results are subjective. One way that can be used to measure the ripeness level of tomatoes is using a spectroscopic sensor. Spectroscopic sensors can predict the level of ripeness and its contents automatically. This study uses machine learning to create a model to classify ripeness level and predict firmness, total dissolved solids (TDS), and total acid in tomatoes. This study used tomatoes with 3 categories of maturity. Tomatoes were tested non-destructively, namely measuring firmness, total dissolved solids content, and total acid. The data obtained were processed using the Partial Least Square Regression method to predict firmness, TDS, and total acid, while the maturity level used the Naive Bayes method. The data processing results to predict the level of maturity using Naive Bayes obtained a success rate of 100%. While for the predictions of firmness, TDS, and total acid had R2 training and R2 testing, namely 0.685 and 0.678, 0.534 and 0.521, and 0.352 and 0.349, respectively.

The Malang Regency Communication and Information Office (Diskominfo) since 2019 has published the Malang Regency One Data book. However, the problem faced by Diskominfo is the limited Human Resources both Diskominfo and data producers (OPD) in exploring sectoral data involving spatial data and presenting it in a map. The purpose of this activity is to provide training in exploratory spatial data analysis for OPD to improve sectoral data processing capabilities, especially those containing spatial information. The training was conducted through the provision of materials and discussions on exploratory spatial data analysis and its application using the Geoda software.

The aim of this research is to 1) determine the application of standard operational procedures for ambulance referral services at the Andong Community Health Center based on PERMENKES Number 71 of 2013, 2) determine the obstacles to the Community Health Center in providing referral services. Sociological juridical research method with a qualitative approach. The primary data source is text from interviews and was obtained through interviews with informants in the research. Secondary data is data obtained by researchers by studying literature such as journals, articles, books, documents and others. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observations and documents. There are several stages in the qualitative descriptive analysis technique, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the research show that the SOP for the use of ambulances in referral services at the Andong Health Center is in accordance with the existing SOP, however the SOP for the use of ambulances in referral services must be further improved so that it is optimally in accordance with PERMENKES Number 17 of 2013. The main objective of the SOP is to provide guidance or guidance on using an ambulance. The obstacle to the Puskesmas in providing referral services is the lack of human resources (drivers) consisting of 1 person with 2 ambulances. Meanwhile, the infrastructure is in accordance with basic ambulance service standards. The conclusion of this research is that the application of standard operational procedures is very effective and efficient in improving ambulance referral services at the Andong Community Health Center and resolving barriers to referral services.

PT. GST melayani pengiriman barang sesuai kebutuhan pelanggan. Saat ini perusahaan, tidak jarang dihadapkan pada persoalan keterlambatan administrasi surat perintah angkut yang berdampak pada penaltinya. Perhitungan struktur komisi sopir, kebutuhan dan permintaan persediaan suku cadang armada secara manual berpeluang terjadi kesalahan, menambah beban administrasi dan kurang efisien. Aplikasi penagihan, pembelian dan pemakaian suku cadang yang ada saat ini masih berdiri sendiri dengan database terpisah belum terintegrasi. Luaran yang dihasilkan kurang memberikan dukungan laporan bagi manajemen. Mengatasi kendala tersebut perusahaan membutuhkan perangkat aplikasi manajemen pengiriman barang terpadu. Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi sistem informasi manajemen untuk mendukung mutu pelayanan pengiriman dan menghasilkan laporan kinerja untuk membantu manajemen dalam memahami permasalahan dan membuat keputusan yang lebih baik. Metode penelitian untuk mengatasi masalah ini terdiri dari 5 tahap, yaitu studi pendahuluan, rumusan masalah dan tujuan, analisa dan perancangan, implementasi dan uji coba sistem, dan deployment sistem. Metode pengembangan aplikasi ini menggunakan metode Waterfall dengan tahapan analisa kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi dan uji coba serta perawatannya. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba, secara fungsional aplikasi berjalan sebagaimana yang diharapkan atau valid. Sementara uji peneriman user terhadap aplikasi dilakukan melalui media kuesioner dengan skala Likert 1 - 5. Skor rata-rata penerimaan user dari hasil pengolahan data kuesioner adalah 89, 62 % (4,48 Skala Likert). Mengacu pada umpan balik user, menyatakan bahwa aplikasi yang dibuat sudah baik dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Abstract PT GST serves freight forwarding based on customer need. The company encountered a lot of administration issues such as delay in administration of transport orders. It impacted on penalty fee that the company must have paid. The drivers calculation fee, the need and demand for fleet spare parts inventory were being done manually. It had a high risk to increase error which cause by human. Billing application, purchase and use of spare parts were using separated databases. The outcome of the application did not produce good report for the management. In order to overcome the issues, the company needed an integrated application. The objective of the research was to develop a management information system to give better support for delivery service quality and produce performance report in order to assist management to give better insight about company issues, so they can decide better policy. The research methodology contained 5 stages such as preliminary study, formulation of goals and problems of the research, system analyst and design, system implementation and testing, deploying the system. The application was developed by using Waterfall. The tested result of the application showed the application could run based on the necessities of the management. The user acceptance level was calculated by using Likert and used 1 – 5 scale. The average score of the user acceptance was 89, 62% (4,48 Likert scale). The user said the application could fulfill the management necessities.

Kunci keberhasilan pengelolaan pembangunan tersebut terletak pada bagaimana perencanaan pembangunan dilakukan secara partisipatif. Ditambah adanya dukungan dari pemerintah daerah yang diselenggarakan secara desentralisasi dengan berbagai kompleksitas perkembangan masyarakat, keberagaman struktur sosial dan budaya lokal, serta tuntutan demokratisasi ditingkat lokal dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintah dalam merespon kebutuhan masyarakat melalui pembangunan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perencanaan pembangunan partisipatif di desa pemekaran, Kecamatan Mendo Barat, Kabupaten Bangka. Untuk mengkaji penelitian ini digunakan konsep perencanaan pembangunan partisipatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkkan bahwa mskipun merupakan desa pemekaran dan usia pembangunannya belum berjalan begitu lama, pembangunan desa di Kecamatan Mendo Barat sudah sampai pada tahap yang cukup signifikan menuju desa yang berkembang. Di sisi lain, bentuk partisipasi masyarakat dalam proses perencanaan dapat dikatakan rendah dimana terlihat dari kurangnya antusias masyarakat untuk menghadiri pertemuan saat pembahasan perencanaan pembangunan desa pemekaran Kecamatan Mendo Barat. Masyarakat masih berpangku tangan kepada pemerintah setempat, sehingga mereka cenderung menerima apa saja yang menjadi hasil keputusan musyawarah antara pemerintah dan sebagian masyarakat yang ikut serta terkait permasalahan perencanaan pembangunan ini. Upaya meningkatkan kualitas perencanaan pembangunan partisipatif desa pemekaran, yaitu Pertama, pemerintah telah melakukan cara untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakatnya untuk dapat terlibat langsung dalam perencanaan maupun pelaksanaan pembangunan di desa pemekaran, Kecamatan Mendo Barat, Kabupaten Bangka. Kedua, advokasi kebijakan dan pengambilan keputusan terhadap pembangunan desa telah melibatkan masyarakat setempat. Ketiga, pengembangan institusi terhadap kesadaran partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan desa pemekaran sudah baik. Keempat, pemerintah desa mencoba membangun sumber daya manusianya secara perlahan.

UMKM brambang goreng Ibu Suwarti selaku mitra dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat memiliki kendala dalam memperluas usahanya. Kendala pertama yaitu mengenai Kapasitas produksi yang terbatas karena dalam proses produksi masih menggunakan cara – cara konvensional serta. Kendala selanjutnya adalah produk yang masih belum memiliki izin PIRT karena keterbatasan informasi dari mitra. Oleh sebab itu untuk mengatasi kendala yang pertama, dirancang sebuah mesin pengupas bawang merah/brambang untuk mempercepat waktu produksi. Mesin dirancang berdasarkan kondisi tempat usaha mitra dengan spesifikasi kapasitas pengupasan sebesar 10 kg per proses dengan motor penggerak berdaya 0,5 hp. Sosialisasi mengenai prosedur pengajuan izin PIRT dan pendampingan persiapan produk juga dilakukan agar mitra bisa memperluas jaringan pemasarannya hingga ke toko – toko besar. Dari hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan, pengimplementasian mesin pengupas bawang merah dapat meningkatkan total produksi bulanan hingga mencapai 1,4 kali lebih besar dibandingkan total produksi bulanan sebelum menggunakan mesin. This study was intended to find out the students’ ability in reading descriptive text. Reading skills are considered as an important skill and are uneasy to acquire. In this study, there were 40 students of the second year students of SMAN 1 Sikur are involved as the subject of this study. The method used in this research is a quantitative study. In collecting the data, the writer used a reading test. The data were analyzed through basic statistical computation. To find out their ability and difficulties in reading descriptive text, the test was used which consists of 25 items to students in the form of multiple choice. The test score for each item was 0.4 points. The result of data analysis showed that the mean score of the second year students of SMAN 1 Sikur in reading the descriptive text was fairly good. There were 21 (52.5%) students who were in a high position and 19 (47.5%) students were in a low position. Although 52.5% of students in a high position and 47.5% in a low position, the students’ mean score shows a low position, it is 7.2 mean score which classified as fairly good. Therefore, the ability of the second year students of SMAN 1 Sikur has not been in a high position which is categorized from excellent to good score level. This is caused by the lack of reading strategy and vocabulary. The two weaknesses become students’ difficulties in reading descriptive text.

Desa Slumbung terletak di Kecamatan Ngadiluwih, Kabupaten Kediri, Jawa Timur yang termasuk dalam kategori desa tertinggal. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Penataan administrasi desa dan penyempurnaan monografi desa, (2) Menerapkan analisis statistika deskriptif untuk meringkas dan menampilkan data-data yang dimiliki oleh desa. (3) Peningkatan kemampuan, pengetahuan dan ketrampilan aparatur desa dalam pengelolaan administrasi secara digital melalui pelatihan/workshop (4) Merancang pembuatan database secara digital untuk membantu pengelolaan data yang sudah ada dan data di masa yang akan datang. Kontribusi mendasar pada khalayak sasaran adalah memberikan pelatihan-pelatihan dasar untuk penataan administrasi desa yang lebih rapi; meningkatkan kapasitas dan produktifitas perangkat desa termasuk Sekretaris Desa, Kepala Urusan, Kepala Dusun, Bendahara, tenaga operator dan staf terkait laiinya dan melakukan pendampingan di setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan dan membantu menyelesaikan masalah-masalah di lapang.

Air menempati suatu wadah rongga di dalam tanah yang disebut dengan akuifer. Salah satu akuifer yang masih jarang digunakan adalah akuifer tertekan. Akuifer ini terletak lebih dalam, sehingga keberadaan perlu dideteksi lebih dahulu. Untuk mendeteksi keberadaan akuifer menggunakan metode geolistrik resistivitas. Alat yang digunakan adalah resistivitimeter OYO Model 2119C McOHM-EL, dengan konfigurasi Schlumberger dengan bentangan AB/2 samapai 350 meter. Pengambilan data dilakukan di Kecamatan Plupuh Kabupaten Sragen sebanyak 5 titik sounding. Pengolahan dilakukan dengan menggunakan software IP2win. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa lapisan akuifer di 5 titik sounding berupa lapisan pasir lempungan, pasir dan lapisan pasir kerikilan. Lapisan akuifer tertekan terdeteksi di: TS1 pada kedalaman 39,9 meter- 110 meter dengan litologi pasir kerikilan, TS2 pada kedalaman 40,25 meter – 66,58 meter dan 80,24 -139,7 meter dengan litologi pasir, TS3 pada kedalaman 47,25 meter – 101 meter dengan litologi pasir lempungan,TS4 pada kedalaman 40,72 meter – 103 meter dengan litologi pasir lempungan dan TS5 pada kedalaman 31,41 meter – 97 meter dengan litologi pasir lempungan.

Singkong merupakan salah satu komoditas tanaman pangan unggulan Indonesia. Proses pasca panen singkong memberikan nilai tambah secara ekonomi serta berdampak pada peningkatan ekonomi kewilayahan. Salah satu usaha produksi produk olahan singkong yang berkembang baik di Grabag Kab Magelang adalah produksi slondok puyur. Guna menjaga dan meningkatkan eksistensi, daya saing dan peluang pengembangan usaha, maka telah dilakukan kajian analisa SWOT pada usaha produksi slondok puyur di Sumurarum Grabag, Kabupaten Magelang. Analisa SWOT dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi faktor eksternal dan internal yang menyumbang peran pada faktor-faktor yang memperkuat, menantang, menghambat dan mengancam usaha produksi slondok puyur. Data data dikumpulkan melalui metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil kajian analisa SWOT menunjukkan jika: (i) kekuatan utama proses produksi slondok puyur adalah terletak pada kualitas produk; (ii) kelemahan terletak pada tidak adanya diferensiasi produk; (iii) peluang diberikan oleh factor adanya kebijakan regulasi sertifikasi produk yang akan meningkatkan daya saing produk, dan (iv) ancaman berasal dari tingginya kehendak konsumen akan end product dengan varian yang beragam. Hasil kajian menunjukkan jika strategi WO (weakness-opportunity) yang juga disebut sebagai strategi “stability” merupakan strategi yang tepat untuk diterapkan pada usaha produksi slondok puyur di Sumurarum Grabag Kabupaten Magelang. This study aims to design a model in achieving superior performance of MSMEs. The mixed strategic orientations of demography, economy and cultural values are used to design this model. The mixed strategic orientations consist of customer, competitor and innovation orientations. Demographic variables consist of age, experience and education. Economic variables consist of government, price, income and growth. Cultural value variables consist of Javanese, Chinese and Padang cultural values. Customer orientation variables have an antecedent variable that consist of entrepreneurship, reward and learning. The change orientation variable moderates the customer and competitor orientations to the innovation orientation. Variable of competitive advantage mediates customer and competitor orientations on MSMEs’ performance. The population of this study consists of food MSMEs in Central Java. The 750 samples are chosen with convenient sampling technique. Data analysis mrthod used the Cross-tab Analysis and Structural Equation Model (SEM). The result of this research is a model explaining that demography, economy and cultural values influence antecedent variables of customer orientation, dimension of strategic orientations and organizational performance. The antecedent variables affect customer orientation; the dimension of strategic orientations affects performance; Variable of change of capacity unmoderates customer and competitor orientations on innovation orientation. Variable of competitive advantage unmediates customer, innovation and competitor orientations on performance. Coordination is a very complex problem that has occurred in the management of protected forest in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to elucidate how the Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) is used as a basis for rearranging coordination in the management of protected forest. SSM demonstrates various aspects of coordination to be addressed and concrete steps that decision makers in the management of protected forest should make. Using the case example of protected forest management in Wonosobo Regency, Central Java, Indonesia, this study suggests that there are 9 steps to be considered in coordinating the management of protected forest. The findings of this study are relevant to decision makers in which the stages in SSM can assist decision makers to address problems in the coordination of protected forest management.

merupakan kelompok usaha pembuatan batik khas Grobogan yang berlokasi di Pulorejo Grobogan. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh KUB Flamboyan adalah KUB Flamboyan tidak memiliki instalasi pengolahan limbah serta batik diproduksi dengan pewarna sintesis. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah menerapkan instalasi pengolahan limbah dengan sistem penjerapan bertingkat serta memberikan pelatihan penggunaan pewarna alami pada produksi batik KUB Flamboyan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan jika KUB flamboyan berhasil memahami dan menerapkan penggunaan pewarna alami pada produksi batiknya serta dihasilkan desain instalasi pengolahan limbah menggunakan prinsip adsorpsi bertingkat. Abstrak Salah satu produk olahan singkong unggulan dari Kabupaten Magelang adalah produk slondok dan puyur. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra pelaku usaha produksi slondok puyur yang terkait aspek teknologi adalah persoalan yang timbul akibat penerapan: proses pengeringan menggunakan sinar matahari, proses penggilingan menggunakan alat konvensional dengan pemutar dari roda sepeda yang tidak higienis dan berpotensi menimbulkan kecelakaan kerja, serta proses perajangan manual dengan alat terbuat dari kayu dengan plat pisau yang terbuka yang tidak higienis dan berpotensi menimbulkan kecelakaan kerja. Guna mengatasi permasalah mitra pelaku usaha produksi slondok puyur, telah dilakukan diseminasi teknologi alat-alat proses produksi berupa introduksi alat pengering resirkulasi, alat perajang dengan plat pisau perajang tertutup, dan alat penggiling adonan dengan gear reducer. Hasil uji penerapan alat pengering resirkulasi menunjukkan jika waktu proses pengeringan membutuhkan waktu yang lebih singkat jika dibandingkan dengan pengeringan sinar matahari. Penerapan alat alat perajang dengan plat pisau perajang tertutup, dan alat penggiling adonan dengan gear reducer mampu meningkatkan higienitas produksi, menurunkan potensi keselamatan kerja dan menurunkan biaya produksi. Persyaratan mahasiswa yang berminat menempuh studi atau mendapatkan beasiswa pendidikan ke Perguruan Tinggi Luar Negeri dengan pengantar bahasa mandarin, adalah memiliki Sertifikat Hànyǔ Shuǐpíng Kǎoshì (HSK). Nilai lulus ujian HSK untuk mendapatkan sertifikat HSK, sering menjadi kendala calon mahasiswa meraih kesempatan studi tersebut. Saat ini, penerapan Teknologi Informasi (TI) pada bidang pendidikan dan pengajaran semakin berkembang. Melalui pemanfaatan TI yang tersedia, dengan aplikasi berbasis Content Management System (CMS), penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membantu mengatasi kendala ujian HSK. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan Aplikasi Sistem Manajemen Konten bahasa Mandarin yang menunjang kebutuhan ujian HSK. Aplikasinya dibuat dengan menggunakan yii framework dan berbasis web. Tahapan pembuatan aplikasi mengikuti pola Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan metode Waterfall yang mencakup kegiatan analisa kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi dan uji coba modul serta perawatannya. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, secara fungsional aplikasi berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Sementara pada analisa data kuesioner responden, dihasilkan nilai rata-rata 3,67 skala Likert. Dengan demikian aplikasi yang digunakan pengguna memberikan nilai cukup baik. Abstract One of the requirements to obtain a scholarship for educational abroad into overseas university which is using Mandarin as an academic language is the prospective applicants must have a Hànyǔ Shuǐpíng Kǎoshì (HSK) Certificate. However, the result of their HSK exam is often becoming a constraint for the prospective students in grabbing the opportunity to get the scholarship. Meanwhile, nowadays, the application of Information Technology (IT) in the field of education is constantly widespread and developed well. So, this study was conducted to overcome the obstacles in the HSK exam, by utilizing the developement of Information Technology which is based on Content Management System (CMS). The purpose of this study is to provide a Mandarin Content Management System Application that supports the HSK exam. The application is made using the yii framework and is web-based. The stages of making the applications follow the pattern of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall method which includes the analysis, design, implementation and trial of modules and its maintenance. Based on the test results, the application runs as expected. Meanwhile, the analysis of respondents' questionnaire data produced an average value of 3.67 Likert scale. Thus, the users who use this application give quite good results.

Keripik Singkong merupakan makanan kecil yang terbuat dari ketela pohon yang diiris tipis-tipis lalu digoreng dengan minyak. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh pengrajin di Desa Bringin, Kec Godong, Kab. Groboganini adalah alat perajang yang masih sangat tradisional, sehingga masing memerlukan tenaga manusia yang besar dan kapasitas yang dihasilkan masih sangat sedikit. Program yang diusulkan untuk dilaksanakan adalah pembuatan alat perajang keripik singkong rotari dengan 4 mata pisau dengan penggerak motor listrik. Dengan alat ini diharapkan proses produksi menjadi lebih efisien dengan kapasitas lebih besar. Karya etnograf i mengenai penduduk pedalaman cenderung didominasi oleh pandangan hitam-putih mengenai suku-suku terpencil berbudaya unik dan peduli lingkungan yang menghadapi kekuatan merusak dari luar. Buku Land’s End: Capitalist Relations on an Indigenous Frontier (selanjutnya disebut LE) mengisahkan penduduk pedalaman tetapi tidak menghadirkan cerita sederhana pahlawan-pecundang. Sebaliknya, LE berisi kisah penduduk Lauje di pedalaman Sulawesi Tengah yang aktif terlibat dalam perubahan, mengagumi gaya hidup konsumtif dan aktif memanfaatkan peluang pasar. Berdasar penelitian dua dekade (1990-2009) di dataran tinggi Lauje, antropolog Tania Li mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis hubungan sosial orang Lauje setelah terlibat dengan produksi kakao. Produksi kakao menghasilkan hubungan kapitalis yang tidak hanya menawarkan harapan dan kemakmuran namun juga menciptakan hubungan sosial baru berdasar kelas sosial dan kepemilikan sarana produksi.

Edible seaweed K. alvarezii collected from different coastal waters in Indonesia (Morowali and Teluk Ekas). The seaweed was extracted into semirefined carrageenan and it was determined on their nutrition quality. The results showed that the essential amino acids content of the three different samples SRC were similar as follows: aspartic acid, glutamic acid, serine, glysine, arginine, alanine, tyrosine, methionine, valine, phenylalanine, isoleucine, leucine and lysine. The gel strength (g/cm2) and viscosities value in Morowali, Ekas coastal waters and commercial SRC were different in the samples. FTIR spectroscopy determined that molecular present in three samples were kappa carrageenan.

Salah satu usaha kecil yang dikembangkan oleh warga Desa Mororejo Kecamatan Kaliwungu, Kabupaten Kendal adalah usaha produksi kerupuk udang. Salah satu aspek usaha produksi kerupuk udang yang masih perlu ditingkatkan adalah desain label dan kemasan produk. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan wawasan pelaku usaha produksi kerupuk udang serta mengembangkan desain label dan kemasan produk kerupuk udang. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pembuatan label kemasan produk. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan wawasan pelaku usaha produksi kerupuk udang serta menghasilkan desain dan label kemasan produk kerupuk udang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai di Lingkungan Balai Besar Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam Sumatera Utara, mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di Lingkungan Balai Besar Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam Sumatera Utara, dan mengetahui pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja pegawai di Lingkungan Balai Besar Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam Sumatera Utara. Tipe penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif analistis, kuantitatif dalam pengertian bahwa dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengujian statistik, khususnya untuk mengukur seberapa besar kaitan atau kekuatan pengaruh diantara variabel-variabel yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berpengaruh nyata terhadap kinerja pegawai lingkungan Balai Besar KSDA Sumatera Utara. Besaran pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai adalah sebesar 36,48%, sedangkan sisanya 63,52% ditentukan oleh factor lain. Disiplin kerja berpengaruh nyata terhadap kinerja pegawai lingkungan Balai Besar KSDA Sumatera Utara. Besaran pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai adalah sebesar 15,22%, sedangkan sisanya 84,78% ditentukan oleh faktor lain. Motivasi dan disiplin kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai lingkungan Balai Besar KSDA Sumatera Utara. Besaran pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja pegawai adalah sebesar 36,68%, sedangkan sisanya 63,32% ditentukan oleh faktor lain.

Household’s residential choice of location determines urban spatial pattern (e.g sprawl). The static model which assumes that the choice has been affected by distance to the CBD and location specific externality, fails to capture the evoution of the pattern over time. Therefore this study proposes a dynamic version of the model. It analyses the effects of externalities on the optimal solution of development decision as function of time. It also derives the effect of mobility and externality on the rate of change of development pattern through time. When the increasing rate of utility is not as significant as the increasing rate of income, the externalities will delay the change of urban spatial pattern over time. If the mobility costs increase by large amount relative to the increase of income and inflation rate, then the mobility effect dominates the effects of externalities in delaying the urban expansion.

Salah satu jenis usaha yang terdapat di Wilayah Ngampin Ambarawa adalah usaha penjualan serabi khas Ngampin. Serabi Ngampin merupakan salah satu kuliner ikonik dari wilayah Ambarawa .Serabi Ngampin dijual di kios-kios yang terletak di tepi jalan raya Ambarawa-Jogya .Pengembangan wilayah berupa pembangunan jalan lingkar Ambarawa memberikan dampak terhadap menurunnya nilai usaha serabi Ngampin. Berbagai upaya perlu dilakukan untuk mengembangkan usaha serabi Ngampin. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningatkan usaha serabi Ngampin melalui penerapan tungku bercerobong, perbaikan fisik kios dan pelatihan diversifikasi produk. Penerapan tungku bercerobong dilakukan melalui pabrikasi dan aplikasi tungku bercerobong. Perbaikan fisik kios dilakukan dengan memperbaiki dan meningkatkan sisi estetika dan fungsionalitas kios. Pelatihan diversifikasi produk dilakukan melalui pelatihan pembuatan serabi dengan varian rasa dan topping. Rangkaian kegiatan yang telah dilakukan telah berhasil meningkatkan kenyamanan pembeli serabi Ngampin, meningkatkan kondisi fisik kios serta memberikan wawasan dan ketrampilan pelaku usaha serabi dalam memproduksi produk diversifikasi serabi. East Semarang District deals with a very serious problem for flood and robs threat. Rob is caused by high tide in the sea, while flooding caused by heavy rainfall. Banger River conveys run off flow from East Semarang District to the sea. Banger Polder System comprises dike surrounding Banger Polder and also dam aimed to protect it from rob attack, pump Station to control the water level, and retention pond used also as fishpond. To maintain urban polder management and flood protection system, society participation is highly. The purpose of this research was to determine the willingness and capability of communities to pay the operational and maintenance of polder system. Research focused on Banger Polder Area located at 10 Sub Districts in East Semarang District with the scope of discussion is to assess the society willingness-capability to pay the operational and maintenance of polder system. Primary data were collected by Contingent Valuation (CV) sample survey method using closed ended referendum elicitation format (Bidding game format), or closed questions by providing an alternative of answers choice. Society willingness in funding the operational and maintenance of polder can be determined by maximal costs that have been paid by society required to cope with flood and inundation problem in Semarang District. Society capability in funding polder operational and maintenance can be showed as a relation between total income and maximal capability of society in funding polder operational and maintenance. Result of data analysis showed that 87% society is categorized as capable society, and 12.67% society is incapable in funding polder operational maintenance. Result of data analysis showed that 81.33% society having the willingness, and 18.67% as the rest in paying the operational and maintenance of polder. Percentage of society which has the willingness and capability is approximately 72%. Income, building and land asset were used as decision variable in estimating participatory rates, fair, equitable, and independent which is expected to be sustained. City of Surakarta, known as Solo City is one of cities in Central Java Province traversed by Bengawan Solo River. Heavy rainfall in upstream area of Bengawan Solo River causes increase in high water level at downstream. Bengawan Solo River will be higher than water level in drainage system which may induce a backwater flow. Since Colonization era, the government has built dikes and barrages against backwater flow and inundation problem. One of the barrages was Demangan Barrage dividing river flow into Bengawan Solo River and Pepe River. It was equipped with total capacity pump of 12,3 m3/s. The inundation is not only caused by the backwater flow coming from Bengawan Solo River, but also surface runoff as the result of the excess rainfall which cannot be drained gravitationally to the main river if the gate was closed. Therefore, comprehensive study combining hydrology and hydraulics analysis is highly needed in order to achieve more effective flood control management. Hydrology analysis was done to estimate the direct runoff hydrograph from catchment area in Solo City to downstream of Pepe River. While in hydraulics case, hydraulic parameter in downstream of Pepe River influenced by Bengawan Solo River stream was analyzed. Both studies were simulated using software HEC-RAS 4.1.0 version. The simulation considered drainage channel, gate, pump system and dike in Pepe River downstream. Simulation using 10 years of return period in Solo City and average annual water level in Bengawan Solo River showed that Pepe River can flow through the gate, while the highest water level is still below the dike. Simulation considering 10 years of return period, water level hydrograph of Bengawan Solo River, existing pump, and gate operation inferred that Pepe River surpassed top of dike. Capacity of required pump should be more than 168,3 m3/s in order to pass 10 years of return period. By combining operational of existing pump and dike elevated up to +87,63 m, capacity of required pump became lesser which was approximately 120,3 m3/s. Simulation of HEC-RAS conducted by operating pump automatically on critical elevation without heightened dike obtained the total capacity of pump was 132,3 m3/s.
