Titanium dioxide (TiO2) has been widely used in photocatalysis due to its excellent properties. In this manuscript, multifold TiO2 nanorods with highly efficient photocatalytic performance was prepared for H2 production using electron beam evaporation based on glancing angle deposition. The effects of annealing temperature and morphological structure on photocatalytic performance of TiO2 nanorods were studied. The optimal annealing conditions were 550 °C for 300 min in air. Photocatalytic performances of multifold nanorods were improved to varying degrees compared to no-fold nanorods. Photocurrent density of Z2 reached the maximum value at about 1.35 mA/cm2, which was more than six times that of Z0 (0.2 mA/cm2). Meanwhile, through SEM analysis and Nyquist plots, the smaller overall charge transfer resistance and larger BET surface area of Z2 resulted in the maximum photocurrent density. The pricing strategy of freight sharing platform in a competitive environment is one of the key issues affecting its development. Considering the competiveness of the platform and whether the platform provided the price discount for cargo owners, the influencing factors such as the service quality differentiation among platforms, network externality and price sensivity of users were analyzed. Then the two-sided market theory and the Hotelling model were used to construct and analyze the pricing model of freight sharing platform. It is found that the platform pricing increases with the increase of the service quality differentiation between platforms. Network externalities and price sensivity negatively effect the platforms pricing for users. Further research shows that when the platform provides price discount to cargo owners, the revenue of freight suppliers (i.e., truck drivers) will increase. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Although graphene oxide (GO) has emerged as an excellent lubricant additive in water, there remain great challenges in their practical application due to high production costs. By taking into account the low cost and also its excellent tribological properties, it is likely that nano-SiO2 can be used as a lubricant additive to partially replace GO. Hence, this paper aims to explore the tribological properties of nano-SiO2 incorporated in GO nanofluids for partial GO replacement by investigating the friction coefficient and wear volume of the prepared SiO2/GO hybrid nanofluids for magnesium alloy/steel sliding pairs. The experiments reveal that the SiO2/GO hybrids retain low friction coefficients as compared to individual GO or SiO2 at all test conditions in this study. However, as for the bearing capacity test, all samples can provide a low wear volume under the loads of 1 and 3 N. With the increase of the normal load, there is considerable differences in the anti-wear behavior. Compared with that of individual GO nanofluids, the wear volume of the GO/SiO2 (mass ratio of 0.3:0.2) hybrid nanofluids was reduced by 50.5% at 5 N and by 49.2% at 8 N. Furthermore, the wear volume of the GO/SiO2 (mass ratio of 0.3:0.2) hybrid nanofluids was reduced by 46.3% under the rigorous conditions, as compared to individual GO nanofluids.
