Abstract

Objective To investigate the difference of electroreactivity and electrocoagulation of commonly used interventional materials. Methods The resistance of different types of micro⁃guide wire and spring coil are measured with a multimeter to obtain the physical parameters reflecting the conductivity. The in vitro electrolytic gas production experiment was carried out with physiological saline and isolated arterial blood of New Zealand white rabbits as the medium, the gas production data were obtained, and the thrombus adhesion on the surface of the materials was observed by scanning electron microscopy. Results The resistance measurement results showed ASAHI, SilverSpeed, Traxcess micro⁃guide wire and Axium spring coil have good conductivity, the electrolytic gas production could occur after power⁃up, and the voltage was positively correlated with gas production speed (P＜0.05, for all). The results of in vitro arterial blood electrocoagulation showed that better thrombosis quality could be obtained by increasing the voltage. Conclusions The micro⁃guide wire and spring coil used for intra⁃arterial electrocoagulation can preliminarily selected by resistance measurement, and the voltage is the key factor to determine the electrical reaction intensity and thrombosis quality.

26. An improved whale optimization algorithm based on multiple strategie.

Abstract

To address the issues of the standard whale optimization algorithm, including slow convergence speed, imbalance between exploration and exploitation, lack of information exchange among the population, and susceptibility to local optima, an improved algorithm is proposed. Firstly, the Tent chaotic mapping is employed to enhance the uniformity of the initial population distribution. Secondly, a nonlinear convergence factor is introduced to improve the algorithm's global search ability in the early stage and local exploration ability in the middle and late stages, coordinating the transition mechanism between search and exploitation. Then, the average position vector of the population is introduced into the random search process, effectively addressing the lack of information exchange between individuals and the population. Next, an adaptive inertia weight is introduced into the position update formula to enhance the convergence speed and accuracy of the algorithm. Finally, the Cauchy operator is utilized to perform mutation perturbation on individuals trapped in local optima. Simulation experiments were conducted on 15 benchmark test functions to evaluate the improved algorithm. The experimental results demonstrate that the improved whale optimization algorithm possesses excellent performance, and the effectiveness of the improved algorithm is proven through the Wilcoxon rank-sum test [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Herein, we report a rare example of cationic three‐dimensional (3D) metal‐organic framework (MOF) of [Cu5Cl3(TMPP)]Cl5 ⋅ xSol (denoted as Cu−TMPP; H2TMPP=meso‐tetrakis (6‐methylpyridin‐3‐yl) porphyrin; xSol=encapsulated solvates) supported by [Cu8Cl6]10+ cluster secondary building units (SBUs) wherein the eight faces of the Cl−‐based octahedron are capped by eight Cu2+. Surface‐area analysis indicated that Cu−TMPP features a mesoporous structure and its solvate‐like Cl− counterions can be exchanged by BF4−, PF6−, and NO3−. The polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) coated Cu−TMPP (denoted as Cu−TMPP−PVP) demonstrated good ROS generating ability, producing ⋅OH in the absence of light (peroxidase‐like activity) and 1O2 on light irradiation (650 nm; 25 mW cm−2). This work highlights the potential of Cu−TMPP as a functional carrier of anionic guests such as drugs, for the combination therapy of cancer and other diseases. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Two new alkaloids, spongimides A (1) and B (2), along with five known ones (3–7), were isolated from the marine sponge Spongia sp. The structures of 1 and 2 were determined by the spectroscopic methods (UV, IR, MS, and NMR) and X-ray diffraction analysis. Compounds 1, 3, and 4 were the first examples of 2,4-imidazolidinediones isolated from this genus. In addition, the cytotoxic and antibacterial activities of compounds 1 and 2 were also evaluated.
