Intensively developed virtual reality (VR) has great potential in education and can be reliably integrated into the classroom, fostering authenticity to facilitate the rapid developments in science. This research aims to investigate the factor that influence the implementation of VR and the correlation between each dimension of the technology acceptance model that can lead to intentions to use VR. The structural equation modeling is performed that was tested on participants of preservice teachers who performed simulated science explorations in the weightlessness concept. The results show that most participants believe that VR is useful in many educational contexts, including immersion, authentic learning, motivation, and engagement. Moreover, the predicted model has good explanatory power to predict intention to use VR in the classroom (R2 = 64.7%), influenced by usefulness, enjoyment, and absence of cybersickness. Educators and researchers should consider avoiding the 360-degree VR beyond the advantages of ease and economics, then adopt more comfortable and accessible graphics-based VR for implementation in the classroom, as well as the suitability of content for students to avoid any cybersickness.

The Philippines is a country in Asia which in its curriculum requires English as the medium of Instruction, even so the scientific ability of students in the Philippines is not so good as seen based on PISA 2018. Many things can be learned from the curriculum of other countries so that it can be an illustration of how the curriculum should be perfected. This article provides an overview of how the process of science lessons taught in Philippine schools and the obstacles it faces. The method used is In depth Interview with qualitative analysis. This article suggests that the medium of instruction is important for the continuity of the learning process in the classroom, at the same time this can be a lesson for schools in any country that will carry out the bilingualization process in their schools or use a second language as a medium of instruction, to pay attention to the long-term effects on students and conduct research. depth before applying the approach.

The statement of teaching philosophy reflects on teachers’ growth and dedication to achieve the goal and values. Concerning philosophy, physics is the most fundamental science discipline which has profound philosophical implications. This article aims to discuss the importance of the teaching philosophy statement (TPS) for sustaining the teaching-learning process in the classroom. Moreover, it also includes the authors’ TPS in teaching physics. This academic paper employs the systematic literature review and narrative literature review to explain scholarly opinion regarding teaching philosophy among physics and natural sciences philosophers. Three educational implications have been discussed. First, educators need to realize that not every student wants to be a physicist, and teachers need to manage this problem. More often, the physics teachers also have to think about addressing students with different abilities in the classroom. Second, as the facilitator of the learning outcomes, the teachers must possess good character and value-laden attributes necessary for teaching. Finally, the researchers of this study provide the TPS for physics, “Let Us Think About,” and philosophical implications in teaching physics. The term of teaching philosophy may vary based on the expert who writes it and its application in the classroom (i.e., philosophy in science teaching, philosophy of physics, philosophy of science in teaching, teaching philosophy, teaching statement, and teaching philosophy statement). However, the teaching philosophy statement is the most common phrase since Beatty et al. explain the concept in the early 21st century. In addition, the finding indicates that TPS is important for developing teachers’ way of thinking in the classroom setting.

Exploration can be done by reading, discussing, or experimenting with collecting and processing data. In fluid material, students can explore by looking at the phenomena related to the application of Archimedes' law, Pascal's law, and Bernoulli's law. This study aims to develop teaching materials that can improve students' ability to explore fluid material. The research method used is the 4D model development research. The study results were in marker applications and augmented reality, which was validated by material experts, learning media. This application has also gone through field trials. The validation value of material experts is 86%, and media experts are 82.5%. Meanwhile, the test results for the teacher obtained 83.75%, and the students obtained 83.45%. Based on the validation results, this media is feasible to be used as a learning medium that helps students improve fluid material.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan bar model terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika khususnya pada materi aljabar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster sampling . Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 36 siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Kedua kelas yang dipilih berasal dari populasi yang berdistribusi normal, memiliki varians homogen dan mempunyai kesamaan rata-rata. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis yang dibuat sesuai indikator keterampilan literasi matematika pada materi aljabar sebanyak 5 soal yang telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berdistribusi normal dan memiliki varians yang sama. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji-t dan taraf signifikansi Berdasarkan hasil post-test , diperoleh dan sehingga , maka ditolak. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan bar model lebih efektif daripada model konvensional untuk mengembangkan kemampuan literasi matematika. Abstract This study discusses the efectiveness of bar modeling on specific mathematical literacy abilities in algebraic material. This research is quantitative research. The research method used is a research method with a sampling technique using cluster sampling. The subjects in this study were 36 students in the experimental and control class. The second class chosen is normally distributed, has homogeneous variants and has the same average ability. Collecting data using written tests that are made in accordance with mathematical literacy skills in algebraic material as many as 5 questions that have been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of the study, the experimental class and the control class were normally distributed and had the same variants. Hypothesis testing is done by t-test and significance level α = 0.05. Based on the results of the calculation, obtained and so , then is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of bar models is more effective than conventional models for developing mathematical literacy skill.

Nowadays, most teenagers don't like Indonesian legends because they are considered as old-fashioned and boring stories. The results of a survey of 124 respondents who are teenagers resulted in 85% of respondents consider the legend is not interesting. Whereas 10% of respondents answered interestingly and 5% answered relatively. This study aims to: (i) develop pop-up books that present Indonesian legends for junior high school students, (ii) provide unique and interesting short stories and (iii) illustrate the comparison of student responses before and after using pop-up books as an alternative learning medium. The research method is research and development (R&D). Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that (1) this research produced a product in the form of a pop-up book entitled "Bhineka Nuswapada", 2) a pop-up book worth using as indicated by the results of the student questionnaire responses of 91.15% with the interpretation of the criteria very good and (3) based on the results of the media effectiveness test, after using the pop-up book media there was an increase in student learning outcomes with an N-Gain value of 0.41 on the medium criteria. Therefore, Bhineka Nuswapada is the best alternative medium for learning legend for students.

In a welding process carried out on metallic materials is sometimes found defects in the material being tested, it is caused by many factors, such as the lack of good materials used and the lack of perfection of the welding process. At testing, it aims to know the surface defects in carbonsteel pipes to know the defects arising after welding. This test is performed with non-destructive tests (NDT) using Dye Penetrant testing method. This test uses 3 types of liquids, including; Cleaner, Penetrant, and developer. The results of these tests will then be observed whether defects occur after welding and what factors affect it. From the test, results there are known 10 locations defects on the surface of the carbonsteel pipe welding with a type of rounded indication of defects that are then followed up by re-welding on indications of such defects.

Material structure and function of plant tissue is one of the most difficult material for students to understand. This is because studying this material in detail requires aids (microscopes) whose observations are not necessarily easily understood by students. In addition, so far the learning media and methods used are less varied. Based on the above statement, we need a learning media that can increase student interest and student understanding in learning the structure and function of plant tissue. So this study aims to develop a monopolistic educational learning media on the structure and function of plant tissue in class VIII of SMPN. This development research refers to the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, Evaluation). The monopoly game structure and plant network developed consists of several game equipment including: a monopoly board, a set of ownership rights cards, a set of public and opportunity fund cards, a set of money - dice, and a game guide. As for the pawns in this game are the students themselves. Based on the material expert validation test, it was found that the percentage of material suitability in the monopoly of the structure and function of plant tissue was 70.83% or quite decent. Meanwhile, for the media expert validation test the percentage of eligibility was 63.33% or quite decent. Based on the validation test obtained an average of 67.08% or if interpreted then the monopoly of the plant's structure and tissue is quite feasible.

Augmented Reality hadir sebagai teknologi berkembang yang memiliki potensi pedagogis yang besar. Pemanfaatan teknologi ini sangat masif dikembangkan dalam pratikum. Fisika adalah mata pelajaran yang memerlukan praktikum agar siswa memahami esensi fisika. Masalah yang diangkat dalam penulisan penelitian ini adalah bagaimana implementasi sistem augmented reality pada lembar kerja peserta didik. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini adalah membuat aplikasi Augmented Reality pada LKPD materi kaidah tangan kanan. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall . Hasil dari pengembangan sistem ini adalah terciptanya sebuah aplikasi Augmented Reality untuk membantu guru dalam memandu siswa dan membantu siswa dalam memahami materi fisika. Dari hasil pengujian black box testing, didapatkan hasil pengujian bahwa persentasi keberhasilan sistem aplikasi sebesar 100% yang mengindikasikan bahwa aplikasi telah berfungsi dengan baik pada penggunaan di smartphone. Sehingga aplikasi ini sudah dapat digunakan pada pengguna dalam proses pembelajaran.

INDONESIAN SCHOLARS SCIENTIFIC SUMMIT (I3S) 2021 & OISAA ASIA-OCEANIA SYMPOSIUM 2021 DefinitionIndonesian Scholars Scientific Summit (I3S) 2021 is a scientific conference involving Indonesian scholars who currently work or study in Taiwan and outside of Taiwan, such as Indonesia and other countries. These two associations are referred to as PPI Taiwan and OISAA Asia-Oceania, throughout this conference. The joint event of I3S 2021 and the OISAA Asia-Oceania Symposium 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on June 21-27, 2021 and being hosted by PPI Taiwan. The main event is taking place on June 25-27, 2021 which is prompted by four days of pre-event series on June 21-23, 2021. BackgroundDated back on December 31, 2019, the World Health Organization (WHO) received a notification of pneumonia disease, whose source was unidentified, in Wuhan, China. Then, the disease which was caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus was referred by WHO as COVID-19. The COVID-19 was designated by WHO as a pandemic on March 11, 2020. Furthermore, by January 29, 2021, as many as 102.6 million cases of COVID-19 worldwide with more than 2.2 million deaths have been reported by WHO. Globally, five countries experiencing the highest number of COVID-19 positive cases are the United States, India, Brazil, Russia and Great Britain. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused not only casualties but also opens up opportunities, among others are in the fields of technology, education and health. In the field of technology, we can observe the increasing use of technology for distance or remote education and the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various fields including health. In the health sector, technology related to telemedicine and vaccines has also begun to develop. There has also been an expectation that within the post- COVID-19 period, the novel ideas keep developing, and Indonesia can take an active role in developing this. Regarding the aforementioned situation, the establishment of the 2021 Indonesian Scholar Scientific Summit (I3S 2021) is expected to serve as a scientific forum for exchanging ideas among scientists, students and industry practitioners in all relevant fields in order to generate innovative ideas that can be developed in the post-COVID-19 pandemic situation. Simulations were carried out to visualize the ratio of granular attachment to porous surfaces. This simulation uses a uFlex three-dimensional simulation using three sizes of porous surface systems in the condition of the smallest human pores and the most extensive human pores and the condition of wet skin and dry skin. Each system was tested using five granular particle sizes according to the range of the makeup granules’ size to determine the optimal adhesive. The results show that the number of cosmetic granular particles entering the porous surface system is directly proportional to the porous surface volume and moisture and inversely proportional to the granular cosmetic size. The larger the cosmetic granular used, the less granular enters the pore.

There are many misconceptions in learning natural science in junior high school. The use of video media can reduce misconceptions. Video media will make the concepts learned more contextual. This article will describe the results of research and development of junior high school science books enriched with video media based on Augmented Reality technology so that learning is more contextual. The research used the Dick & Carey model of research and development (R&D) method. Product feasibility is tested using a questionnaire by experts. Questionnaires were developed to test the feasibility of the material, the feasibility of the media and the feasibility of learning. The results of the material feasibility test were 81.29%, with very good or very complete interpretations. Media feasibility is 93.57% with very good or very complete interpretation. The feasibility of learning 83.78% with very good or very complete interpretation. It can be concluded that the resulting textbook products received appropriate interpretations to support the contextual learning process of the concept of motion.

Learning physics science is ideally accomplished through the experiments, although the theory of special relativity is challenging to understand. It is difficult because this topic has not occurred in real experience, and no technology has launched at the speed of light. To understand this theory, Virtual Reality (VR) can potentially visualize the actual concept of relativity by presenting an artificial environment to the students. The aim of this research is to develop the virtual reality application as a learning media for special relativity. This Research and Development uses the Lee and Owens Model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The system development method used is black-box testing. The result of the development of this system is the creation of a VR application to explain the material of relativity. From the results of black-box testing, the test results show that the percentage of application system success is 83%, which indicates that the application is functioning correctly on smartphone usage so that this application can be used on the theory of relativity simulation users using virtual reality devices.

The Global Education Census 2018 shows that Indonesian students are the highest technology users in the world. Unfortunately, the level of Indonesian science education is at a low level indicated by the Program of International Student Assessment 2015. The Learning physics science is ideally done through the experiments, but the theory of special relativity is difficult to understand. It is difficult because the theory has not happened in real life and no technology has advanced at the speed of light. To understand the theory, Virtual Reality is able to visualize the real concept of relativity by presenting an artificial world to the students. In its development, many virtual reality have been developed in the field of education by the experts because of the students' interest in this application. Virtual reality is more easily developed because it is supported by Google technology. Based on this, the researchers are interested in designing Virtual Reality applications as a Learning Media for Relativity on Android Smartphones. This Research and Development uses the Lee and Owens Model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research specializes in the development process which includes pre-production, production, and post-production. The application content explains the journey of human beings traveling at the speed of light and feeling the effects of the special theory of relativity. This application was developed using Unity 5.6.2f1 software and Google VR Cardboard. The Tests on the gyroscope and accelerometer concluded that the sensitivity level of the application is very good so that the rotation of the application is the same as the user's rotation. The development of virtual reality technology is carried out systematically, easily and effectively. The development of Virtual Reality using Unity and Google Cardboard on smartphones can be an effective solution, because of Unity 5.6.2f1 applications are free and unity operation is relatively easy for new developers. Hopefully researchers with the existence of this research, other developers can have a guide article in developing virtual reality.

Technology continues to grow including into the field of education that can be seen with the game educative which is an innovation that combines education and technology. This article focuses on the technique of designing physics electronics module using 3D PageFlip Professional with the final look that can be accessed via computer and android. The electronic physics module used is a 3D Pageflip Professional-based research and development module that requires handouts in PDF format as the basis for making multimedia-based handouts on Core Stability and Radioactivity materials. In this electronic module researchers use open source media such as video, images, flash and animation so that makes this media look interesting for high school students. The result of the project will be published in 3DP format to be read with 3D Pageflip Reader which can be installed in android Operating System and exe format to be read with windows system in personal computer.

Islam guarantees life for every adherent in the world and in the hereafter and Islam has a very essential joint of the Qur'an. Samsul Nizar (2002) says Islamic education is a series of systematic, planned and comprehensive process in an effort to transfer the values to the students, develop the potential of the students, so that students are able to carry out their duties on earth as best as possible all dimensions of life. The millenial issue of Muslims is now very worrisome because they started away with their Qur’an, do not want to learn Arabic which is the language to understand the Qur’an and more closely with its gadgets. Arsyad (2017) says the visual media can attract and direct people's attention to concentrate on the content of an information, in which case the visual source can inspire one's emotions and attitudes so as to speed up the process of understanding and remembering messages. Based on that statement, the right solution in helping millennials in the process of understanding the Qur'an is by developing a translation application of the Qur'anic Tafsir Ibnu Katsir with an audio and visual display called ANDALUS. ANDALUS is a medium of information, and an android based communication to welcome the industrial revolution 4.0 to the millennium to get closer to the Qur'an. This research uses research and development method. The results of this study show a high appreciation because the millennials consider the translation of the Qur'an more easily understood and easy to remember. In addition, this application also contains all the verses of the Qur'an so that the millennial more understand the contents of the Qur'an universally.

The simulation of physical phenomena between fluid and its boundary is a fascinating study because of its application in various fields of engineering. In this simulation, we analyze how fluids are arranged as granular particles with certain conditions interacting with the wall. The walls are varied as the characters that represent the shape of the breakwater building. This simulation compares the effectiveness of commonly used wave barriers. Wave barriers are used to hold the waves from reaching the land. In this, the simulation used two types of wave holders in the form of tetrapod and cubic, which are placed on a sloping surface. Next, an analysis of the farthest distances from the variations in the speed of the waves and the types of waves holds. Simulation results show that tetrapods are able to withstand wave speeds better than cubic.

Granular simulations have been carried out to visualize attached to porous vertical surfaces. We simulate the optimal ratio of dry surfaces. This simulation uses the uFlex particle with three pore sizes. The movement particle using parabolic motion with the initial horizontal speed only. The simulation results show that for uniform particle velocities, the number of particles that are attached depends on the size of the particle sphere itself. These results can combine with the previous study to use in future research.

This article presents a simulation model of radioactive chain decay with augmented reality technology. Radioactive decay is classified as abstract material that is difficult to understand. This simulation will make abstract radioactive decay materials easily understood. In this article will explain the simulation changes to the 4n + 2 radioactive model by utilizing augmented reality technology. This media development uses the black-box testing method to test the accuracy and validity of the software program. Interactive media using augmented reality on radioactive decay have been able to display the U-238 chain decay model (series 4n + 2) by simulating the process of alpha and beta release in each series. This simulation successfully displayed a striking difference between alpha and beta release in the U-238 chain reaction cycle.

Simulations were performed using markerless augmented reality on the concept of Compton scattering. Compton scattering identifies that photons can not only behave as waves but also behave like particles. The process of colliding photons with electrons causes dispersion which shows that the photon has momentum. This article will explain a photon collision simulation to prove the state of light dualism by utilizing augmented reality technology. The development of this simulation was tested using the black-box testing method. Interactive media using augmented reality for Compton scattering simulations can display the concept of collisions between photons and electrons. Our simulation successfully simulates the mechanism of energy release and momentum changes before and after the contact.

Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and is obligatory for qualified Muslims. This study aims to make a virtual reality application for hajj simulation. This study uses descriptive analysis method.The result of this research is an application that consists of 6 features, namely: features (hajj series, hajj series guide, Arabic language, floor plans, frequently asked questions, instructions for use).The Free Hajj will learn how to perform the Hajj not just a theory but also presents ideas, practices and actual conditions. Like being directly in Mecca.

Learning in the 21st century has encouraged the presence of technology in education. Physics is one of the subjects that require a practicum to deliver abstract material. However, in the current physics practicum, student worksheet is still being used, which does not support high-level thinking skills and technology is not yet integrated. This study aims to produce practical worksheet equipped with augmented reality (AR) in physics material class XII odd semester. This study uses Dick and Carey model of research and development method. The data of this study were obtained from the results of validation by experts in the material, media, and learning, as well as the results of trials by teachers and students conducted with a Likert scale questionnaire. A pretest and posttest are also conducted to test the improvement of students. The product produced is worksheet equipped with AR technology that can display videos at stimulus stages, procedures, and conceptual applications by scanning images bearing the AR logo with an android smartphone. The results of the worksheet feasibility test conducted by material experts received an average percentage of 93%, the feasibility test conducted by media experts obtained an average percentage of 90%, and the feasibility test conducted by learning experts received an average percentage of 81%. The results of user trials by teachers get an average percentage of 98%, user trials by students get an average of 90.1%, and the results of pretest and posttest get N-gain of 0.72. This study indicates that the Worksheet for Students to practice higher-order thinking skills has met the criteria very well based on the assessment in terms of material, media and learning and declared fit as Physics teaching materials in class material XII odd semester.

Granular particles have applications in various fields, one of which is the beauty industry. One crucial part of this industry is the character of powder-size interactions with skin-faces. The simulation of granular particles with a porous surface can model this interaction. The purpose of our simulation to visualize the process of granular attachment on a horizontal porous surface. This simulation is 3-dimensional visualization using unified particle physics solver method in uFlex assets on unity software. We generate the pores to three sizes. Each order is tested using five particle sizes. The results showed that the porous hole diameter and the granular restitution coefficient influenced the particles entering the porous surface system. In summary, the number of grains entering the pore is proportional to the diameter, but not linear.

The discussion of the concept of electromotive force often leads to misconceptions. Unity program can produce 3-dimensional media from 2-dimensional media. In this article, we will describe the form of electromotive force simulation that is displayed with augmented reality technology. Development of electromotive force simulation using 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The application of augmented reality technology can visualize the three-dimensional form of abstract electromotive force processes into reality. The design process is based on pedagogical content knowledge. The electromotive force display can simulate the impact of changes in the number of turns, magnetic fields, and time of playback of the generator against the value of electromotive force. The simulation has succeeded in providing an interesting description of the ratio of variables to the magnitude of the force of electricity produced in the generator. Display simulation electromotive force with augmented reality technology has met the principle of technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK).

The process of developing this media has been guided by pedagogical content knowledge (PCK). Our simulation successfully displays the relationship between the magnetic field and electric current which is directly proportional to the Lorentz force. AR-based Lorentz force simulation has fulfilled the principle of technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK).

This study simulates shallow water waves using the Navier-Stokes equation. This simulation uses the MatLab application, especially Quickersim with 2-dimensional output. Mesh in simulation is made using Gmsh. Research about shallow water has an essential role in studying the characteristics of ocean waves. The depth of the sea influences this characteristic. Data obtained from this simulation is in the wave height and velocity positions at any time. The limitations in the data collected are not comparable with the experimental results because there are no experimental Navier-Stokes simulations, but these simulation results have shown the phenomenon of seawater movement. In future work, the results of this study can be used to analyse its application in tsunami waves.

This system is carried out using two power between the National Electricity Company (PLN) as the main power and the generator as backup power. This system uses 30KVA power capacity for PLN and 45KVA for generator set (genset). This system relies heavily on the crucial role of the motorized change over switch device because the automatic transfer system can run properly without collisions when using the backup power supply and when the main power supplies return. The results provided by the observations on two power experiments between the power of the PLN and the power of the generator when there is a blackout at the PLN. The automatically performance of motorized change over switch works has a range of pauses of 18 seconds to be able to power the genset capable of taking on the role of PLN to back up the Building. Furthermore, when the PLN power returns the power is held for 30 seconds by a motorized change the over switch. It ensures that the main power of the PLN reconnected.
