This study clearly sets out how much the extent of the digital divide affects e-government services being adopted by Indonesia. Such inequality in access and competence of nations in digital technology is one of the great stumbling blocks erected in the way of the Indonesian government to carry out various programs. The research methodology in this paper is largely qualitative, with a mixed method of case study and literature review of the relevant online media to facilitate a description of the digital divide that translates into the use or nonuse of digital public services. This research seeks to identify trends and relationships that may bind together policy contexts and the digital divide. The data for this research were collected through the analysis of secondary data from a wide range of data sources, including the Indonesia Digital Literacy Index survey 2022 and BPS data, both from the service provider and the service user. The findings of the research point to a very low level of digital literacy in Indonesia, especially in terms of digital security. Mainly, the digital divide complicates the social exclusion of older generations, yet, in principle, digital technologies can help people in the older generation live better lives. The core argument of this report is that cutting the digital divide requires investment, training, and leadership based on trust from the concerned parties to see there is an open fair access to digital services.

In November 2022, the central library in KAP1 launched its own app. The "Stadtbüchereien Düsseldorf App" offers visitors a special experience by adding virtual elements to the real place of the library using augmented reality technology. A year after the opening of the library, the app adds a new, virtual level of use. Due to the generous opening hours of the new central library, even without the library team being on site for support, it is designed to offer extensive digital self-services for users to discover the library independently at any time and to find their way around. With Düsseldorf-based AR experts Exponential Dimensions, a "anything but typical" library app has been developed. In keeping with the principle of "People, Books, Spaces", its focus is entirely on location and visitors. In June 2023, the "Stadtbüchereien Düsseldorf App" got international recognition. It received the prestigious Auggie Award in the category "Best Consumer App". The annual Auggie Awards have been the world's most recognized awards in the AR and VR industry since 2010. PUBLIC services ,WEBSITES ,DIGITIZATION ,DIGITAL technology ,ACQUISITION of data - Abstract
Digital-based public services have an essential urgency in increasing efficiency, accessibility, transparency, and responsiveness of services to the public. This allows for significant improvements in governance. This research aims to analyze the implementation of services by local governments, especially at the One Stop Integrated Services Investment Service (DPMPTSP) of Rokan Hilir Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach using Online Research Methods (ORMs) as a data collection method. ORMs utilize the internet and other digital technologies to collect data and information. In this research, ORMs include data collection from official government websites. The analysis tool that is maximized is Nvivo 12 Plus. This research shows that implementing website-based digital public services faces obstacles and challenges that need to be overcome. Limited internet access, technology gaps, concerns regarding security and privacy, and limited resources are the primary concerns. However, the government can overcome these obstacles by investing in internet infrastructure, digital literacy programs, and collaboration with the private sector. Integrating digital public services can increase the efficiency, accessibility, transparency, and accountability of public services and build public trust in the government. In facing this challenge, the government needs to take appropriate policy steps to ensure the success and sustainability of inclusive and sustainable digital public services. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Digital service transformation involves developing or enhancing digital service products within the scope of business transformation. The primary goal is to create or enhance value through the integration of information technology, computing, communication, and connectivity. In the public sector, the objective of digital service transformation is to boost public value, such as citizen satisfaction, government budget efficiency, and streamlined bureaucracy. To evaluate the effectiveness of the transformation process, organizations require a maturity model to assess execution quality. This study aims to develop a specific maturity model for digital service transformation in the public sector. The model development generally encompasses two main stages: a literature review and in-depth expert interviews. The literature review identifies the public sector’s digital service transformation process, key process areas (KPAs), maps these KPAs to the maturity levels of the Capability Maturity Model (CMM), identifies KPA capability indicators, and designs measurement tools. In-depth interviews were conducted with five experts, who are stakeholders in public sector digital service transformation from five different institutions. The interview results were aligned with the needs of digital service transformation within Indonesia’s public sector. These results were then tested on the service management section of Statistics Indonesia (BPS). The resulting digital service transformation maturity model effectively illustrates the transformation process that has been implemented. This model is anticipated to serve as an alternative guide for public sector stakeholders to evaluate their digital service transformation efforts.

The article addresses the issue regarding the obligations of digital service providers performed in the area of cybersecurity. Because of their status as entities within the national cybersecurity system, they must respond to disruptions occurring in cyberspace. The measures taken by digital service providers to ensure the security of the information systems used to provide the digital service must lead to the minimisation of the risk of incidents i.e. phenomena that have or may have an adverse impact on cybersecurity. Economic and social development depends to a large extent on smoothly operating communication and information systems that ensure the provision of various types of services, including digital services. Disruptions in the functioning of these systems affect not only the stability of economic circulation but also the effectiveness of public institutions in performing their tasks. Given the above, the information obligations imposed on digital service providers regarding the requirement to report incidents or those related to taking measures to prevent or minimise their impact on a digital service are of major importance.

Digital banks have profoundly changed the financial industry’s operations. In this scenario, the study of digital banks has gained increasing attention in the academic community. However, there is still a lot of room to understand how this type of organization functions and impacts different contexts. Considering the information collected, partial findings, and the professional experience of those involved in a larger research project, the main objective of this study is to present the Brazilian scenario related to digital banks from the analytical perspective of the research group. The methodological approach included analysis of partial results of a larger research project, bibliographic research, analysis of public data about digital banks in Brazil, and multidisciplinary discursive approach to conduct debates with the support of academic literature and experience from top managers working in major Brazilian financial institutions. Data on key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost breakdown, net revenue, return on equity (ROE), and cost-to-income ratio, are presented and analyzed for both traditional and digital banks. Furthermore, this study puts forward potential avenues for future research within three main research domains: digital operational efficiency for banks, customer attraction strategies employed by digital banks, and the utilization of digital financial services in the retail industry.

The Indonesian Islamic banking sector has been transformed by integrating technology in banking services to satisfy customers for retention and market share post-COVID-19. This study, therefore, investigates the impact of Islamic banking digital service quality post-COVID-19 in Indonesia on customer satisfaction and retention. This study applied the construction of an electronic service quality model (E-S-Qual) and a banking service quality model (BSQ) focusing on digital services in Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia after the COVID-19 pandemic. This study also used an explanatory method by collecting survey data from customers of Islamic banks in Indonesia. PLS-SEM analysis tool with SmartPLS tool version 4 was utilized to search for hypothetical evidence. This study uncovered the effect of ease of use, efficiency, interoperability, privacy security, responsiveness, reliability, service cost, and service portfolio on ISBC customer satisfaction. In addition, among the significance of ISBC customer satisfaction on customer retention intention, there was a mediating effect of Islamic financial literacy. Islamic banks, consequently, must maintain a digital service system to meet customers' financial needs through quality control of system infrastructure and continuous network maintenance. Moreover, the demand for strategies to strengthen new digital services through adding features and promoting the advantages of digital financial services is needed to gain market share in the Indonesian financial market.

- Abstract
The emergence of fintech has revolutionized the traditional financial landscape, offering fast and efficient services to consumers while reducing costs for financial institutions. With the continuous advancements in technology, the fintech industry is expected to grow rapidly in the coming years, providing greater access to financial services and increasing financial inclusion across the globe. The main question explored in this study was: What is the impact of green Fintech on sustainability and consumer behavior within smart cities? The objectives of this study included analyzing the perceptions of consumers in the Middle East concerning green fintech's impact on sustainability and examining green fintech policies and initiatives to identify how they shape consumer behavior. The current study employed qualitative methods, where eight participants were sampled and interviewed regarding the topic and six primary articles were sampled and analyzed. The interviews were conducted online, recorded, and later transcribed for analysis. The results show that green fintech promotes sustainability by encouraging companies to invest in renewable energy as a strategy for accessing more funds at lower interest rates. Moreover, green fintech was realized to enhance financial inclusion as small businesses and startups could easily access funding for innovating technologies that promote sustainability. However, a major challenge hindering the extensive adoption of green fintech identified was the limitation imposed by current regulatory framework. A conclusion from this study is that increasing consumer awareness of green fintech products and their benefits can help increase the rate of implementation of sustainable practices in organizations. The aim of the study is to use the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) technique to identify and rank the factors affecting customer satisfaction with mobile payment services in the Jordanian market, where little research has been done on post-adoption behaviour. By gathering data from experts and analyzing the results, the study seeks to determine the relative importance of various factors, such as app quality, cost, trust, and social influence, in shaping customer satisfaction. The literature is rich with studies on the adoption of mobile payment services in developing countries. However, little attention has been paid to post-adoption behaviours, such as customer satisfaction. Additionally, the use of multi-criteria decision-making techniques, such as AHP, to rank factors affecting mobile payment service satisfaction is rare. Our literature search identified 17 factors, and we gathered data from 12 experts, which was sufficient for the AHP technique. The results revealed that app quality was the most critical factor affecting satisfaction, followed by cost, usefulness, trust, information risk, security, social influence, ease of use, performance, credibility, privacy, reliability, responsiveness, customer attitude, confidentiality, assurance, and feedback mechanism. Background. The paper raises the problem of the lack of a generally accepted full definition of a digital platform, despite the widespread use of the term. Materials and methods. To study the existing approaches to the definition of a digital platform, the method of a systematic review of the literature on the subject of digital platforms (using the example of digital logistics platforms) was used. Results. Based on the studied sources, a critical analysis of existing approaches to the definition of digital logistics platforms is presented. The characteristic features inherent in digital platforms are highlighted, gaps existing in the scientific literature in the description of digital platforms are identified, ways of classifying digital platforms are systematized. Conclusions. Based on the above analysis, the author's definition of a digital logistics platform is presented, covering the main characteristics of digital logistics platforms. According to this definition a digital logistics platform can be described as a multi-user digital service that creates, on the basis of functional modules, an infrastructure for mutually efficient interactions of users belonging to different sides (producers, buyers, transport companies, state) which co-create value of the service. This digital service optimizes interactions on the basis of digital algorithms in order to improve the quality of customer service, to reduce transaction cost and to increase the efficiency of logistics service.

OLDER people , *PUBLIC spaces - Abstract
The rise of public and other non-recreational digital services is based on the idea of catering to the daily needs of the citizens cost-efficiently and with ease. Previous research has approached the use of digital services mainly from the perspective of an individual, while the significance of shared practices of use has attracted only a little attention. In this article, we (1) examine the incentives and limitations associated with the use of non-recreational digital services, which either encourage or discourage older adults to use them. Based on the first question, we then ask (2) how older adults in this study manage those non-recreational digital services they have chosen to use. Our qualitative analysis is based on participant-induced elicitation (PIE) interviews (n = 21) carried out in Central Finland with older adults aged between 65 and 89. Our findings suggest that there are conflicting views about digital services – they simultaneously evoke both positive and negative associations among interviewees. The incentives and limitations of digital services are expressly heterogeneous among older adults and vary depending on the individual and shared digital repertoire of each user. We describe how participants in this study employed multiple strategies, such as sharing digital repertoires with warm experts, to actively manage using digital services in their daily lives. Digital transformation in health and social care is a fast-growing sector globally. Multidisciplinary professionals are needed in the development of digital health and social care services. This study aimed to evaluate the self-assessments of students participating in specialisation education on the importance of multidisciplinary digital competences, focusing on competence in the digitalisation of social and health care and how they assess their own competences at the beginning of their education. The purpose was to describe the multidisciplinary competences in this area at EQF level 6 by using a self-assessment tool. Data were collected from 274 specialised education students in the years 2021 and 2022 from 14 universities of applied sciences. The background information included participants’ years of work experience, professional education area and study credits. There were nine competence areas. The survey contains 61 Likert scale questions. Cronbach’s alpha was 0.962 (N=126). The paired t-test was used for statistical analyses to determine the relationship between the importance of a competence and students’ current levels of competence. For each pair, the arithmetic mean for the how important variable was higher than the current competence variable. The average means of all competences’ differences was 1.04 between how important the competence was to the students and their current understanding of their own level of the particular competence. Service design competences have both the highest average level of student competence and variance in competence. The second-largest variance was in online guiding competences, which is one of the clearest competences for students to understand the content. These results may be explained by expert bias, where a person with a lot of knowledge rates their own level of knowledge lower, while a person with less knowledge does the opposite. The gap between current competence level and the assessed importance of the particular competence shows that there is a need for specialisation education in multidisciplinary competences for developing digital health and social care services. The overall result is a self-assessment tool that can be used to assess the level of competences in different competence areas in specialisation education. It is important for health and social care organisations to manage the competences and continuing education of their professionals.

The main goal of the article is to present, in a structured way, the new legal regulation of the provision of digital content and services, which was brought into Czech law by the implementation of the EU consumer directives. The main added value of the new regulation, which was incorporated into the Civil Code and the Act on Consumer Protection, consists in creating a new and advanced framework for the digital environment and the establishment of institutes to provide sufficient protection to contracting parties. An example is the regulation of digital content or service and the comprehensive regulation of conformity with the contract as well as the consequences of the breach of duty. A fundamental change represents the acceptance of compensation for digital content or a service consisting in the provision of personal data. This approach, which has to take into consideration both the human rights dimension of personal data and their property value, will certainly lead to major discussions in the future about the admissibility, or limits of actions of the contracting parties. E-government continues to gather research momentum from academics of diverse theoretical and practical orientations to signify the enduring significance of the concept, especially from the standpoint of digital service delivery in much of the developing world. A platformisation perspective driven by digital service delivery is teased out to make a case for this study. Dwelling on the fundamental assumptions of a positivistic research philosophy with the UTAUT epistemological model as the guiding frame to solicit responses of students in an online environment, the study employs quantitative techniques to analyse eight hypothetical scenarios. Findings suggest trust in e-government, Internet trust, social influence and performance expectancy are some of the strong predictors of intention to use e-government services. The study discusses the revelation that citizens are particularly influenced by peer pressure in their intention to use public digital services. Theoretical implications and empirical lessons of the factors that should be of significant consideration to system designers and policy makers in e-government practice have been accounted for. Future research can take the direction of qualitative efforts to bring out the underlying rationale and tensions connected with digital service acceptance in e-government practice. QUALITY of service ,SUPPLY chains ,VIDEO games - Abstract
This study is about competitive dynamics surrounding opportunistic innovation in the digital supply chain (i.e., on-line gaming, multi-media broadcasting, etc.). When a digital service firm falls short of delivering required services, consumers look for alternative service offerings. For competing firms, potential demand is created suddenly, and they are compelled to innovate to capture this opportunity. This innovation response occurs in reaction to a service failure, and we call it opportunistic innovation. We characterize opportunistic innovation as being situational and temporal--the opportunity is created by the failure of another firm, and it is taken up by the fast-responding firms. The goal of this study is to develop a theory of opportunistic innovation and empirically examine its presence and associated constructs. We have compiled the daily usage-and-update history of 460 online gaming services between 2014 and 2017 and their 58 major service failure events. Our results confirm the temporal and situational characteristics of opportunistic innovation. Firms with alternative services quickly introduce innovation to the market shortly after a service failure when the readiness for convertibility at competing firms is high. In addition, results suggest that opportunistic innovation is constrained by the resource congestion on the supplier side in the digital supply chain. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
