In this study, 4E (energy, exergy, exergoeconomic, and exergoenvironmental) analysis of an underfloor heating system integrated with the geothermal heat pump of a greenhouse with a usage area of 90 m(2) has been made. When the results of the 4E analysis applied to the system and its elements were examined, the energy efficiency of the heating system in the winter months has been determined to be 77.85% and the exergy efficiency 30.61%. According to the results of exergoeconomic analysis, the levelized energy cost of the system has been determined as 0.894 $/h, the unit exergy cost as 0.826 $/h, and the exergoeconomic factor value as 51.12%. According to the results of the exergoenvironmental analysis, the part-based environmental impact of the system was 0.0910 mPts/s, the environmental impact value due to exergy was 0.1823 mPts/s, and the exergoenvironmental factor value was 37.77%. In addition, the equivalent CO2 emission value that will occur if the heating requirement of the greenhouse is met with a natural gas boiler instead of a geothermal heat pump was investigated and a comparison was made between the two systems. Accordingly, it has been determined that the emission of 909.75 kg equivalent carbon dioxide to the environment will be prevented in the 4-month period, which is considered the heating season, by using the heat pump. As a result, the examined heating system has been evaluated as the effective system for heating the greenhouse, reducing energy consumption, and reducing emissions that cause environmental pollution.

In this study, a simulation program was developed that can calculate combustion, emission and engine performance values depended on variable parameters for internal combustion engines by mathematical modelling. This simulation program was created with the Java programming language. Graphical user interface (GUI) was used in this simulation program. With the simulation program created, it can calculate many values such as in-cylinder pressure, temperature, gas amounts generated as a result of combustion, power, torque, specific fuel consumption, both in spark ignition engines and compression ignition engines. This simulation program presents the results both numerically and graphically. The calculations are obtained at every crankshaft angle at 0.25 ˚ intervals. With this simulation program, analyses were made in different excess air coefficients (0.9-1-1.1-1.2) and the effects of in-cylinder pressure, temperature, mass ratios of gas components and engine performance values were compared. According to the simulation results, as the excess air coefficient increases, the temperature and pressure values decrease. 〖CO〗_2 and NO mass ratios decrease as the excess air coefficient increases in case the excess air coefficient is greater than 1. H_2 O mass ratio increased as the excess air coefficient increased.

The aim of this study was to determine the dimensional and shape attributes of two different cherry types (‘10-5’ and ‘10-22’) and six different cherry varieties (‘Ferbolus Verdel’, ‘Lapins’, ‘Merton Late’, ‘Noir de Guben’, ‘Starks Gold’ and ‘Telegal’) and to put forth the differences and similarities of cherry varieties. For dimensional parameters, the greatest averages were observed in ‘10-22’ type and smallest averages were observed in ‘Telegal’ variety. Dimension properties of ‘Merton Late’, ‘Noir de Guben’ and ‘Starks Gold’ varieties were similar. ‘Telegal’ variety had the greatest sphericity value with an average of 89.48%. The sphericity decreased as the shape index increased. Accordingly, the greatest shape index was observed in ‘Starks Gold’ and ‘Merton Late’ varieties. Principal component analysis (PCA) revealed that the first three components explained 98.0% of total variation in dimensional and shape attributes. PC1, PC2 and PC3 explained respectively 67.0%, 19.6% and 11.4% of total variance. PC1 included dimensional parameters, PC2 included sphericity, shape index and shape attributes at vertical orientation, and PC3 included shape attributes at horizontal orientation. Scatter plots were generated by using the factor loads of the first three principal components and dimensional and shape differences between the cherry varieties were clearly observed. In this study, the elliptical Fourier analysis was performed for the closed contour of the cherry varieties and discriminant scores were determined to put forth the differences of cherry varieties. The first three components explained 76.8% of total variation. Cavity or single-sided hill formation at stalk section constituted the greatest source of variance. For shape similarity, elliptic Fourier analysis revealed three groups with a high similarity. The 1st group included ‘Telegal’ and ‘10-22’; the 2nd group included ‘Noir de Guben’ and ‘Lapins’ and the 3rd group included ‘Merton Late’, ‘Ferbolus Verdel’, ‘Starks Gold’ and ‘10-5’ varieties. In this study, the dimensional and shape descriptors of eight different cherry varieties were determined and their physical properties were compared. Furthermore, elliptic Fourier analysis method was successfully used to put forth the differences in shape of cherry varieties.

Halk edebiyatının en önde gelen anlatı türlerinden biri masaldır. Masallar basit yapılarına rağmen hem biçimsel hem de içerikleri dolayısıyla kompleks çalışmaların konusu olmuşlardır. Folklor araştırmacıları, masalların özünü veya kaynağını bulmak, daha iyi anlaşılması ve karşılaştırılması amacıyla çeşitli çalışmalar yapmışlardır. Bunun yanında masallar üzerinde çalışma yapan araştırmacıların başvurduğu iki kavram tip ve motif kavramı olmuştur. Tip ve motif kavramları temel alınarak masallar üzerine birçok çalışma yapılmıştır. Biz de bu çalışmamızda masal dünyasının önde gelen örneklerinden Alman Wilhelm ve Jacob Grimm kardeşlere ait masallar ile Kürt masallarını tip ve motifleri bağlamında karşılaştırdık. Karşılaştırmalı folklor alanında değerlendirilebilecek bu çalışmamızda on dokuz masal tipine ait yirmi üç Alman masalı ile otuz dört Kürt masalını karşılaştırdık. Bu karşılaştırılmanın gerçekleştirilebilmesi için aynı masal tipine ait örneklerin motifleri teker teker tespit edilip bu motifler birbirleriyle kıyaslanmıştır. Bu karşılaştırma bunun yanında her ne kadar tip ve motif temelli olsa da masallarda yer alan diğer sosyal-kültürel öğeler de tespit edilip karşılaştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Masallarda yer alan bu motiflerin ve sosyal-kültürel öğelerin benzerlik ve farklılıkları ile beraber bunların anlamları da açıklanmıştır. Kürt masallarında yer alan özgün motifler de tespit edilip bunların Motif-İndekste yer alması gereken başlıklar da belirtilmiştir. One of the most prominent narrative genres of folk literature is fairy tales. Despite their simple structure, fairy tales have been the subject of complex studies due to their form and content. Folklore researchers have made various studies in order to find the essence or source of them and to better understand and compare them. In addition, the two concepts used by researchers working on fairy tales have been the concept of type and motif. Many studies have been carried out on fairy tales based on the concepts of type and motif. In this study, we compared the fairy tales of the German brothers Wilhelm and Jacob Grimm, who are among the leading examples of the world of fairy tales, and the Kurdish fairy tales in terms of their types and motifs. In this study, which can be evaluated in the field of Comparative Folklore, we compared twenty-three German fairy tales belonging to nineteen tale types and thirty-four Kurdish fairy tales. In order to make this comparison, the motifs of the samples belonging to the same tale type were determined one by one and these motifs were compared with each other. In addition, although this comparison is based on type and motif, other socialcultural elements in the fairy tales were also determined and compared. The similarities and differences of these motifs and social-cultural elements in the fairy tales, as well as their meanings, are explained. The original motifs in the Kurdish fairy tales are also determined and the titles that should be included in the Motif-Index are specified. Çîrok yek ji cureyên sereke yên edebiyata gelêrî ye. The aim of this study was to examine the effect of disc position angle (0º and 30º), spray speed (0.4 and 1.2 m s-1) and distance between nozzles (0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 m) on volumetric distribution uniformity, and determine optimal operational parameters in the spinning disc nozzle used in low volume pesticide application. The spray application was performed using a linear moving - spray simulator under controlled laboratory conditions. The revolution of the spinning disc was set to 7000 rpm and the spray height was stable at 40 cm. Tartrazine at 1 g 1-1 concentration was mixed into the spray liquid. The application rate was 30 l ha-1. Petri dishes of 35 mm diameter were used for sampling. According to the results of the research, the spray pattern was formed in an asymmetrical appearance in all applications. For disc position angles of 0° and 30°, the lowest variation coefficient (CV) was obtained at 0.4 m s-1 spraying speed and 0.7-0.9 m nozzle distances. The CV means determined at 1.2 m s-1 spraying speed were higher than 0.4 m s-1. However, when the disc position angle was 30º, the CV means obtained at 1.2 m s-1 spraying speed partially improved according to the 0º disc position angle., Bu araştırmanın amacı, düşük hacimli pestisit uygulamalarında kullanılan döner diskli memede disk konum açısı (0º ve 30º), ilerleme hızı (0.4 ve 1.2 m s-1) ve memeler arası mesafe (0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1.0, 1.1 ve 1.2 m) faktörlerinin hacimsel dağılım düzgünlüğüne olan etkisini incelemek ve optimum işletme parametrelerini belirlemektir. Laboratuvar koşullarında yürütülen püskürtme uygulamalarında doğrusal hareketli bir püskürtme simülatörü kullanılmıştır. Döner diskin devir sayısı 7000 min-1 ve püskürtme yüksekliği 40 cm olarak ayarlanmıştır. Püskürtme sıvısına 1 g l-1 konsantrasyonda Tartrazine karıştırılmıştır. Uygulamalar 30 l ha-1 norm değerinde yapılmıştır. Örnekleme için 35 mm çaplı petri kutusu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre tüm uygulamalarda püskürtme paterni asimetrik görünümde oluşmuştur. 0° ve 30°’lik disk konum açıları için en düşük varyasyon katsayısı (CV) 0.4 m s-1 ilerleme hızında ve 0.7-0.9 m meme aralığında elde edilmiştir. 1.2 m s-1 ilerleme hızında belirlenen CV ortalamaları 0.4 m s-1 hıza göre daha yüksektir. Ancak disk konum açısı 30º olduğunda 1.2 m s-1 ilerleme hızında elde edilen CV ortalamaları 0º’lik konum açısına göre kısmen iyileşmiştir.

Plant protection covers all the processes regarding the yield lossdue to weeds, diseases and pests. Pest control is one of the mostpreferred plant protection methods which is due to easy to applyand has a high speed of effect. The selection of the spraying unitthat carries the pesticide to the target in the pest control playsan important role in the success of the application. However, theadsorption ratio of the pesticide on targets have variesaccording to the sprayer, the application norm, the interactionbetween the plant and the environment. In recent years, theproduction systems in which human and environment havebeen protected in agriculture, and the safe and controlled use ofplant protection machinery has started to gain importance. Theaim of this study is to determine the projection coefficients ofthe machinery technology used in plant protection processes inKayseri province, Central Anatolia Region and Turkey,depending on between the years of 2009-2018 usage quantities.As a result, the projection coefficients of Kayseri province weredetermined as 1.46% for atomizer, 3.36% for pto-drivenpulverizator, -0.21% for motorized pulverizator, 2.11% for backsprayer, 0.93% for mechanical duster and -3.33% for combinedatomizer.

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, kabin tipi kurutucuda kurutulan elmaların bazı fiziksel değişikliklerini belirlemek ve optimum kurutma koşullarını tespit etmektir.Yöntemler ve Bulgular: Kurutma öncesi ve sonrasında ürünlerin hacim, çap, alan, genişlik ve kalınlık özellikleri dijital bir kumpas kullanılarak üç tekerrürlü olarak ölçülmüştür. Ürünlerin rengi CIE-L*, a* ve b* renk uzayına göre ölçülmüş ve renk indeksi (CI), ton açısı (h*) ve kroma (C*) değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Bulgulara göre, kabin tipi kurutucuda optimum kurutma koşulları 7 mm 10 saat 50°C ve 7 mm 10 saat 60°C olarak saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, kurutma sonrası en yüksek kroma değerleri 5 mm 9 saat 50°C kurutma parametresine elde edilmiştir.Genel Yorum: Bu çalışmada, ürünün kurutma öncesi L* değeri ile kurutma öncesi alanı, kurutma öncesi kroması ile kurutma öncesi b* değeri ve kurutma sonrası a* değeri ile kurutma sonrası b* değeri arasında pozitif bir ilişki bulunmuştur (p = 0.99).In the study, a positive correlation (p=0.99) was found between initial L* and initial area, initial chroma and initial b*, final a* and b*.Çalışmanın Önemi ve Etkisi: Kurutma, tarımsal ürünün depolama süresini uzatmak ve yeni bir ürün pazarı oluşturmak için suyun üründen uzaklaştırılmasını içeren kütle transfer işlemidir. The optimum drying duration, drying temperature and product thickness should be determined in order to achieve the desired moisture level of the dried product in different drying conditions.

The aim of this study is to determine the number ofdrops reaching to the unit area with the different types sprayer nozzles usedat low volume pesticide application and to estimate the spray characteristics.In the experiments, standard flat-fan (ST), multi range flat-fan (LU), standardflat-fan with narrow spray angle (STD), hollow cone (DC), drift guard (AD), airinduction (IDK) and twinjet air induction (IDKT) nozzle types were used. Thespray applications were carried out with a constant spray pressure of 300 kPaand an application volume of 80 l/ha using an automatic speed controlled linearmoving spray simulator. Water sensitive papers (WSP, 26×76 mm) were used totake drop samples and placed to the top, middle and bottom parts of the metalpoles. According to the research result, ST, LU, STD, DC and AD type nozzlesproduced fine and medium droplets. The medium and coarse droplets were producedwith IDK type nozzle. The spray characteristic of the IDKT type nozzle wascoarse, very coarse and extremely coarse droplets. The averages of drop densityvaried between 88-202 number cm-2 for the nozzles producing fine andmedium droplets; 47-48 number cm-2 for the nozzles producing mediumand coarse droplets; 19-34 number cm-2 for the nozzles producingcoarse, very coarse and extremely coarse droplets. In order to improve thebiological efficiency at spray application used the IDKT type nozzle producingcoarse droplets, its drop density should be also increased. Therefore,in spray applications where IDKT type nozzle is used, it is necessary toincrease the operating pressure within the recommended pressure range and to producesmaller diameter droplets., Buaraştırmanın amacı, düşük hacimli pestisit uygulamalarında kullanılan farklıtip pülverizatör memelerinde birim alana ulaşan damla sayısını belirlemek vepülverizasyon karakteristiklerini tahminlemektir. Denemelerde standart (ST),yüksek etki alanlı (LU), standart dar hüzme açılı (STD), konik hüzmeli (DC),düşük sürüklenme potansiyelli (AD), hava emişli (IDK) ve ikiz akışlı (IDKT)meme tipleri kullanılmıştır. Püskürtme uygulamaları otomatik hız kontrollüdoğrusal hareketli bir simülatör kullanılarak 300 kPa sabit işletme basıncı ve80 l/ha uygulama hacminde yapılmıştır. Damla örneklemesi için suya duyarlıkağıt (WSP, 26×76 mm), kullanılmış ve metal direklerin alt, orta ve üstbölgelerine yerleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre ST, LU, STD, DC ve ADtip memelerle ince ve orta yapılı; IDK tip memeyle orta ve kaba yapılı; IDKTtip memede ise kaba, çok kaba ve aşırı kaba yapılı damlaların üretildiğibelirlenmiştir. Damla sıklığı ortalamaları ince ve orta yapılı damlalar üretenmemelerde 88-202 adet/cm2 aralığında; orta ve kaba yapılı damlalarüreten memelerde 47-48 adet/cm2; kaba, çok kaba ve aşırı kaba yapılıdamlalar üreten memelerde 19-34 adet/cm2 olarak belirlenmiştir. Kabayapılı damlalar üreten IDKT tip memenin kullanıldığı püskürtme uygulamalarındabiyolojik etkinliği arttırmak için damla sıklığının da arttırılmasıgerekmektedir. Bu nedenle IDKT tip memenin kullanıldığı püskürtmeuygulamalarında işletme basıncının önerilen basınç aralığında arttırılarak dahaküçük çaplı damlaların üretilmesi gerekmektedir.

Bu tez çalışmasında kayıt dışı çalıştırılan meslek lisesi öğrencilerinin akademik başarıları ekonomik açıdan incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Şanlıurfa ili Suruç ilçesinde bulunan resmi nitelikteki Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Liselerinde öğrenim görmekte olan öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada bu öğrencilere ait nicel ve nitel bazı verileri toplamaya yönelik özel geliştirilen bir anket kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS Statistics 17.0 ve Microsoft Office Excel programları kullanılarak tablo, grafik ve istatistiki testlerle analiz edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin akademik başarıları incelenirken kayıt dışı çalışmanın okul genel not ortalaması, başarı belgesi alma, sorumlu geçilen ders sayısı, ortalama ile geçilen ders sayısı ve sınıf tekrarı yapma durumu üzerindeki etkisi Kruskal Wallis ve Mann Whitney U testleri ile analiz edilmiştir.Analiz sonuçlarına göre; okulların açık olduğu dönemlerde tarım başta olmak üzere çeşitli sektörlerde genellikle aileleri tarafından kayıt dışı çalıştırılan öğrencilerin akademik başarılarının olumsuz etkilendiği yapılan analizlerle istatistiksel olarak ortaya konulmuştur. Bölgenin sosyo-ekonomik koşulları göz önüne alındığında, okul yerine çalışmayı tercih eden bu kesimin katlandıkları fırsat maliyetinin ve beşeri sermayelerinden ödün vermelerinin bölge ekonomisini olumsuz etkilediği düşünülmektedir. Bu çocukların, okul bittikten sonra da takip edilerek toplumdaki statülerinin nasıl şekilleneceğinin belirlenmesi, ülke ekonomisine etkilerinin ortaya konulması açısından önemli olacaktır. In this thesis, academic achievement of unregistered vocational high school students was examined economically. The sample of the study consisted of students attending official vocational and technical high schools in Suruç, Şanlıurfa. In the study, a specially developed questionnaire was used to collect some quantitative and qualitative data of these students. The data were analyzed by using SPSS Statistics 17.0 and Microsoft Office Excel programs. While examining students' academic achievement, the effect of unregistered study on school grade point average, achievement certificate, number of courses passed, number of courses passed, number of courses passed and grade repetition status were analyzed with Kruskal Wallis and Mann Whitney U tests.According to the results of the analysis; In the period when the schools are open, the academic success of the students, who are mostly employed by their families in various sectors such as agriculture, have been adversely affected. Considering the socio-economic conditions of the region, it is thought that the opportunity cost and the concessions of the human capital, which prefer to work instead of school, negatively affect the economy of the region. Determining how these children will be shaped after they finish school will be important in terms of determining their effects on the national economy. 93

Bir köklü ağaç otomorfizminin kendine benzerlik kavramı (Sidki, 1998; Nekrashevych, 2005) de verilmektedir. (Saltan ve Demir, 2013) de, yinelemeli fonksiyon sistemi (YFS) anlamında kendine benzer gruplar tanımlanmakta ve bu grupların özellikleri ayrıntılı olarak incelenmektedir. Bu çalışmada, YFS anlamında kendine benzer grup ve ağaç otomorfizminin kendine benzerlik kavramlarının birbirlerini gerektirmediği gösterilmektedir. Ayrıca bu iki tanımın bazı benzer ve farklı tarafları araştırılmaktadır., The notion of self-similarity of the automorphism group of a rooted tree is given in (Sidki, 1998; Nekrashevych, 2005). We define self-similar groups in the sense of iterated function system (IFS) in (Saltan ve Demir, 2013) and we investigate the properties of these groups in detail. In this paper, we show that two notions of self-similarity do not imply each other. Moreover, we examine similar and different sides of these two definitions.
