Aim. To assess the nutritional consumption of rubidium in the adult population of the Omsk Region.Materials and Methods. Here we performed a cross-sectional study which included 421 individuals (177 men and 244 women) aged 18 to 83 years (median age 37 (23; 57) years). Rubidium consumption was determined by analysing the frequency of food intake and chemical composition of food consumed by the population of the Omsk Region.Results. Median daily rubidium intake was 1.1 mg/day (0.81; 1.48) that sufficiently exceeds minimum recommended dose (0.1 mg/day). We defined the reference range of rubidium intake as 1.1 (0.71 – 1.71) mg/day. Rubidium consumption tended to increase along with the population age, albeit no significant differences have been found between different age groups as well as between men and women. The most abundant rubidium sources were vegetables (55.6%) and beverages (29.6%). Among vegetables, the main sources of rubidium were onion (31.7%) and fresh tomatoes (20.7%), while tea was responsible for the majority (84.6%) of rubidium consumed from beverages. The proportion of vegetable-derived rubidium increased with age, in contrast to beverage-derived rubidium which demonstrated an opposite trend.Conclusion. The reference range of rubidium intake in the Omsk Region is 1.1 (0.71 – 1.71) mg/day. Rubidium intake does not depend on age and gender. The main sources of rubidium are vegetables and beverages.

The aim of the study is to optimize health-saving technologies, to study the prevalence of IBS-like symptoms in relation to the nature of nutrition and eating habits in the youth environment. Materials and methods : an anonymous survey of 3634 students studying at the Omsk State Medical University under the programs of higher and secondary vocational education was conducted. The prevalence of IBS-like symptoms was assessed in relation to the nature of the diet and eating habits. Results and discussion : an analysis of the results revealed the presence of the following IBS-like symptoms in the youth environment: abdominal pain — 2300 (63,29%), constipation — 1353 (37,23%), diarrhea — 1215 (33,43%) of the respondents. The objective: to assess the nutritional status and actual nutrition of respiratory tuberculosis patients with various drug resistance patterns.Subjects and methods. The actual nutrition of tuberculosis patients was assessed using a standard questionnaire containing questions about the amount of food and meals consumed at home in the last 30 days preceding the survey. Assessment of anthropometric indicators and the survey were carried out by medical workers when the patients were admitted to hospital. Patients were enrolled from April to August 2018 out of 300 respiratory tuberculosis patients who had a positive result of a sputum test for M. tuberculosis. The multidrug resistant tuberculosis group consisted of 222 patients, while the group of those drug susceptible or having mono- or polyresistance included 78 patients.Results. It was found out that the home diet of patients with active respiratory tuberculosis was imbalanced in respect of basic nutrients and energy. The following was detected: lack of protein in the diet (including the one of animal origin) in 80.6 ± 2.3% with a depth of more than 55.7%; excess unbalanced fat consumption in 66.6 ± 2.7%; insufficient consumption of dietary fiber in 45.0 ± 2.8%. Multidrug resistant tuberculosis patients consumed more energy and macronutrients (proteins, fats, dietary fiber, animal protein, cholesterol, and fatty acids) both in absolute terms and relative to individual needs, but at the same time they had worse nutritional status indicators; 37,2% of them had malnutrition of the 1st to 3rd degree. At the same time, patients with multidrug resistant tuberculosis were significantly more often HIV-positive, they had disseminated and chronic tuberculosis, the treatment of which itself lead to a decrease in appetite, malnutrition, metabolic and digestion disorders.

The aim to study the prevalence of abdominal pain syndrome in association with the nature of eating behavior and optimize health-saving technologies in young people.Materials and methods: 3634 students of the Omsk State Medical University were surveyed for higher and secondary vocational education programs. We used the Russian-language version of the GSRS questionnaire and the questionnaire for assessing eating habits and preferences through online forms.Results: abdominal pain is widespread among young people, has gender characteristics, is more common among students enrolled in higher education programs and is closely interconnected with the nature of nutrition and eating habits.

Introduction. The status of polyhypovitaminosis accompanying tuberculosis infection being widespread develops both as a result of the disease and side effects of drugs, and because of insufficient food intake. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the micronutrient composition of the diet of tuberculosis patients in the acute stage and healthy people in a comparative aspect. Material and Methods. The method of analyzing the frequency of food consumption assessed the actual nutrition of tuberculosis patients in the acute stage (n = 300) and healthy residents of the region (n = 189). Data on the actual nutrition was collected using a standard questionnaire. In tuberculosis patients, nutrition was evaluated in the month preceding hospitalization. The consumption in the main product groups was calculated, the indices of the vitamin and mineral value of the diet were analyzed. Results. In most patients, the profile of actual consumption was assessed as deficient for several vitamins and trace elements simultaneously. All the examined showed a deficiency in the diet of vitamin D, 80.7 ± 2.3% - vitamin A, 82.0 ± 2.2% - beta-carotene, 90.3 ± 1.7% - folic acid, 63, 7 ± 2.8% of biotin, 45.7 ± 2.8% of ascorbic acid, 49.0 ± 2.8% of vitamin B1, 53.3 ± 2.8% of vitamin PP. Calcium, iodine and selenium are also among the priority ones for the correction of micro- and macro-elements. Differences in the values of actual micronutrient intake were found: in patients with tuberculosis, the levels of beta-carotene, vitamins B2, pantothenic acid, C, D, biotin, choline, calcium, phosphorus are lower; above - consumption of sodium, fluorine, manganese. Differences in micronutrient ration security are determined by unequal amounts of food groups consumed: the nutrition of tuberculosis patients is lower in terms of the content of fruits, dairy, meat products, eggs, and more bread products and drinks. Conclusion. The features of the micronutrient composition of the diet of tuberculosis patients, which determine the need for their correction in the organization of medical nutrition, are established.

Based on the study of actual nutrition and availability of macroelements there was found that adult population of the city of Omsk was established to refer to the group at risk for the development of micronutrient deficiency associated with low content of a set of essential elements (copper, zinc, calcium, selenium) in the ration, being prior for correction.There was executed the hygienic substantiation developed the fermented acid milk bioproduct of a functional purpose "Bifidin" enriched with micronutrients, prior for the population of the Omsk region. Introduction of this bio-product into the ration allows to effectively correct disorders of the mineral status, that was manifested in a decline in the proportion of patients with insufficiency of calcium (from 37.9 to 24.1%; p = 0.013), copper (from 51.7 to 25.9%; p = 0.004), selenium (from 96.6 to 84.5%; p = 0.026), zinc (from 58.6 to 48.3% of the subjects; p = 0.264). Upon the completion of the prophylactic course (intake "Bifidin" of 200 ml for 60 days), there was noted the gain in the concentration in hair: calcium (by 24.4%; p=0.441), zinc (by 8.0%; p=0.0008), copper (by 8.8%; p < 0.001), selenium (by 41.5%; p < 0.001). There was established the efficacy of the use of bio-product "Bifidin" enriched with micronutrients for the improvement of the structure of nutrition and element status of the adult population of the city of Omsk. There was justified the extensive use of dairy products enriched with micronutrients both for the reduction of the prevalence of microelementoses and the improvement of the nutritional status.

Introduction. A sterile marriage is one of the key medical and demographic and social problems. In recent years, the specific weight of the male factor in infertile marriage has increased substantially. Male infertility occurs in 50% of infertile marriages and has a multifactorial genesis of disorders, including idiopathic infertility, accounting for 30 to 75% of male infertility, according to different authors. Among the risk factors for idiopathic infertility nutrition is actively studied. Material and methods. The subjects of the study were men (n = 36), with an established diagnosis of idiopathic infertility, the average age of the respondents was 34 years (95% CI 29.5 ÷ 38.49). Fertility was assessed by clinical and laboratory methods (sperm analysis). The study of the actual nutrition was conducted by methods of analyzing the frequency of food consumption and daily reproduction of nutrition. The data were evaluated using nonparametric methods, the capabilities of the Microsoft Excel and STATISTICA-6 package were used. Results. The evaluation of the actual nutrition and the analysis of the correlation of nutrient intake with the characteristics of male sperm with the established diagnosis of “idiopathic infertility” were carried out. The nutrition of this population group is irrational, the imbalance of energy consumption, basic nutrients, macro - and micronutrients, significant deviations from the recommended values of consumption is established. Discussion. Correlations between qualitative and quantitative indicators of the composition of the semen and the level of consumption of essential nutrients have been established. Potential food risk factors for male infertility have been identified (insufficient intake of folate, vitamin PP, vitamin D, vitamin A, linolenic acid, phospholipids, biotin, choline, dietary fiber). Сonclusion. Men diagnosed with idiopathic infertility have a number of food imbalances. Taking into account the revealed correlations of the level of consumption of certain groups of food products and nutrients with qualitative and quantitative indicators of ejaculate, one can speak about the prospects of further studies in this direction on more representative groups.

Evaluation of vitamin status in residents of the Omsk city (106 men and 135 women) aged of from 18 to 75 years according to the serum content of vitamins A, D, E, K, C, B1, B5, B6, B9, B12. Lack of vitamins in the majority of the observed cases (63.2 ± 3.8%) had a combined character. There was revealed pronounce lack of vitamin D and folic acid, respectively in 70.9 ± 3.6% and 63.2 ± 5.6% of observed persons. The substantial proportion of the population was found to suffer from lacks of vitamin B1 (47.5 ± 4.2%), B6 (49.7 ± 3.8%), and vitamin E (47.1 ± 4.0%). The frequency of detection of a reduced availability of vitamin C was 16.2 ± 3.4%, B12 - 13.2 ± 3.2%, respectively. The deficiency of vitamin A deficiency was seldom (from 5.8 ± 1.9%). In the sample no person with a deficiency of vitamin K and pantothenic acid (B5) was revealed. Mediane of concentrations of phylloquinone, retinol and ascorbic acid and cyanocobalamin in blood serum were in the range of optimum values. Borderline values of the content (at the level of the lower limit of normal) were seen for vitamin E, B1, B6. There were found age differences in the availability of vitamins E, K, ascorbic acid.

Background — Ulcerative colitis results from a complex interaction between genetic, internal (intestinal microflora) and external (environment) factors. Nutrition habits and the consumption of alcoholic beverages have a significant effect on the intraspecific qualitative and quantitative diversity of the intestinal microbiome. There is controversial information about the effect of various nutritional components on the occurrence of ulcerative colitis. Working with patients with ulcerative colitis, we noted specific features of the profiles of their diets before development of the first symptoms. Aim — To assess influence of nutrition and alcohol factors on risk of ulcerative colitis in the adult population of Western Siberia. Methods — A retrospective case control study was conducted by interviewing 81 patients with ulcerative colitis and 39 healthy individuals. The study of their diet and alcohol intake was carried out using the standardized World Health Organization countrywide integrated noncommunicable diseases intervention questionnaire, known as CINDI. Results — The diet of patients with ulcerative colitis from before the first signs of the disease was characterized by rare consumption of fresh and cooked vegetables and of fruits in small portions but high consumption of sugar with tea and/or coffee compared to the healthy respondents. Patients with ulcerative colitis did not tolerate milk and fermented milk products before the disease onset. The average age of alcohol consumption onset for the patients with ulcerative colitis was 19.0 years and the alcohol consumption frequency before the disease’s first symptoms was less than once a month. Patients with ulcerative colitis before the first symptoms’ onset drank significantly less wine during the year and during the day, as well as less wine per single intake compared with the healthy respondents. There were no statistically significant between-group differences for the quantity and frequency of drinking strong alcoholic beverages and beer. Conclusion — Dietary fibers’ deficiency and excess sugar intake is related to ulcerative colitis; although, wine (20 mL/d) may be protective.

Introduction Abdominal pain is one of the symptoms of functional gastrointestinal disorders, which are widespread among young people. Purpose to study the prevalence of the abdominal pain syndrome in association with nutritional habits among students of the medical university. Methods a survey of 3634 students of the medical university, aged from 17 to 34 years (average age 23.34 ± 6.48 years), was conducted. Among the respondents, there were 709 (19.51%) male and 2925 (80.49%) female individuals. All subjects anonymously completed questionnaires (GSRS, WHO CINDI program questionnaire). Statistical analysis was carried out in the Statistica Stat Soft. Results the presence of abdominal pain syndrome was detected in 2300 (63.29%) of respondents. 459 (19.96%) of the respondents answered positively to the question: ‘Did you feel pain or discomfort in the upper part of the abdomen or in the stomach area last week?’. 714 (31.04%) of the respondents answered positively to the question: ‘Did you feel hunger pains last week? (This is a feeling of emptiness in the stomach due to the need to have a snack between meals)’. 1127 (49.0%) of respondents felt both symptoms. The analysis of personal data (characterizing a way of life, area of residence, food ration, an available disease, symptoms) of patients with the established diagnosis of colorectal cancer (CRC) and persons of the comparison group without this diagnosis was carried out. The factors (signs) associated with the risk of the development of colorectal cancer were determined, the probability of their detection in patients and healthy, their diagnostic value (informative value) was estimated. The most informative factors associated with the risk of the development of CRC were found for residents of the Omsk region: changing the region of residence, addiction to fatty food, passing the last prophylactic medical examination more than 4 years ago, having relatives of the first line with colorectal cancer, information on the state of health (positive the result of examination of feces for latent blood, symptoms of the presence of admixture of blood in the stool, false desires for stool presence of polyps, hemorrhoids, cracks in the rectum).

The article gives the results of hygienic and epidemiologic research of morbidity, nutrition structure, food stuffs safety, working conditions, and actual nutrition of workers employed at metallurgy productions. The research was carried out at "Magnitogorskiy metallurgy plant" PLC. 1208 steel workers and founders made up the main group. Average age of research participants amounted to 40.0 ± 0.75. The sampling was representative. We studied actual nutrition over 2010–2015 via analyzing food consumption frequency and applying extended base of food stuffs chemical structure and analyzing menus with lists of dishes offered for an organized group nutrition. We assessed both qualitative and quantitative parameters, including consumption of basic nutrients, energy, irreplaceable amino acids, lipids, vitamins, dietary fiber, essential and conditionally essential microbiological elements (60 nutrients totally, allowing for losses on a product peeling, edible contents, and other losses occurring at various treatments during cooking). We also assessed nutrition regime and other nutrition features. We detected that ratio between proteins, fats and carbohydrates was the evidence of mostly fat nutrition type. Workers were found to consume insufficient quantity of certain vitamins (A, D, and folic acid) and biological elements (calcium), but they instead consumed excessive quantities of saturated fats and common salt. It is shown that actual nutrition of specific workers' groups at metallurgy production is not rational, imbalanced, and doesn't satisfy body needs causing risks of nutrition state shifts and alimentary-dependent diseases evolvement. Alimentary-dependent diseases on average amounted to 21.6 % in the total morbidity structure in 2010–2015. 10.0 % of all diseases with temporary working disability are diseases determined by mostly nutrition factor. Epidemiologic analysis of morbidity comprising diseases related to non-rational nutrition enabled us to determine priority nosologies, risk groups and risk factors. We have the grounds for hygienic recommendations aimed at correcting nutrition structure depending on detected deviations.

Relevance of the diet to the physiological needs of the organism is an important factor determining the incidence of tuberculosis in the world and effectiveness of its treatment. The need to study actual nutrition and nutritional status is determined by its significant changes in recent decades.

The results of research in recent years indicate a widespread low intake of vitamin D, its deficiency or lack among the population of many countries around the world. It is of interest to study vitamin D status of the population living at different geographic latitudes and depending on socio-demographic characteristics.

Occupational burnout syndrome - an important health risk factor - is seen not only in social occupations, but also in "subject-object" occupation professionals. Complex study of work conditions and health used V.V. Boiko test for assessment of emotional burnout level in radio and television broadcasting center personnel. Considerable share (53,3%) of main occupations workers in radio and television broadcasting center demonstrates high level of occupational burnout (exhaustion phase has developed or is being developed). Median total points of occupational burnout syndrome equalled 123 (74,0; is5,0) that is higher than the similar parameter for many "subject-object" occupations. Emotional defence is manifested by withdrawal from emotional show at work, increased distance in communication with colleagues, at home with relatives, avoidance of work demanding emotional charge. Longer length of service is connected with less open emotions not only in occupational sphere, but outside profession with relatives, friends. The results obtained point to predisposition for lower performance and health disturbances, necessitate consideration of this factor in complex evaluation of work conditions and health of personnel engaged in radio and television communications.

There was performed an experimental study of the influence of regular intake offermented milk enriched by products "Bifidin" and "Prolacta" on indices of iron metabolism in adolescents of 12-17 years, involved in sports (n = 94). In all study participants there was made double blood test (every 60 days), there were determined the levels of hemoglobin, serum iron, serum ferritin, C-reactive protein. The intervention in the main group (n = 68) was in daily intake offermented milk product in a volume of 200 ml (1 Cup) in addition to the normal diet within 2 months, including 35 cases who had used the bioproduct "Bifidin" and 33 persons- bioproduct "Prolacta". The control group was consisted of 26 persons from the adolescents engaged in the same sections, but not taking additional fermented milk drinks. The average values of all studied indices in adolescent athletes of the main and control groups before and after the intervention were consistent with reference values. Latent iron deficiency was detected in 23.4 ± 4.4% of adolescents involved in sports. At the second point of the research in two months of intake of enriched dairy products in the main group there was noticed the gain in levels of serum iron, ferritin, and the decline of the concentration of C-reactive protein. The results of the study allow us to consider enriched dairy products "Bifidin" and "Prolacta" as one of the components of complex measures of prophylaxis of hypovitaminosis and microelementoses in adolescents who are actively involved in sports.

The pilot controlled study proved the effectiveness of enriched fermented milk product "Prolacta" as means of the primary prevention of nutrition-associated anemia, firstly, at the stage of latent iron deficiency. The study included 166 adult residents of the city of Omsk. Among examined patiens there were 48 (30%) men and 118 (70%) women aged from 18 to 59 years (mean age: 29.2 ± 0.84 years). Experimental group (79 persons) over two months took 1 glass (200 ml) of bioproduct "Prolacta" daily. The control group (87 people) no received this product neither used supplements or other vitamins and minerals. The groups were matched by gender and age. As criteria for the deviation from the normal settings there were accepted following values: the concentration of hemoglobin (Hb)--less than 130 g/l in men and less than 120 g/l in women; serum iron level--less than 12.5 µmol/L, serum ferritin in men less than 95 µg/l, in women--less than 30 µg/l. The proportion of persons from the main study group with latent iron deficiency decreased from 41.8% to 25.3% (p0.05), the proportion of subjects with normal iron supply increased significantly (from 26.6 to 41.8%; p0.05). Regular consumption of fermented milk enriched with bio "Prolacta" as a means of preventing the deficiency of micronutrients and nutrition-related anemia in large extent is recommended to persons from groups at-risk (athletes, children and adolescents, and women of reproductive age). Preventive effects of this product are combined with the nutritional benefits of dairy products, its use improves the structure of nutrition of the population

There was performed a study of the element status (hair analysis) of the population of the two cities of Western Siberia: Surgut (n = 350) and Omsk (n = 385). Detection of elements was performed by atomic emission and mass spectrometry methods. The population of Surgut when compared with residents of Omsk bioelements were characterized by a more high content of B, Cu, Co, Fe, Mg, I, Zn (p0.001), and a lower content of Cr, Se (p0.001). Scarce elements for Omsk residents were 1, Se. In hair of Surgut residents in more higher concentrations there were detected toxic and potentially harmful elements such as Pb, Hg, Be, Cd, Li, Sn (p0.001). At the same time there were lower than in Omsk residents values of concentrations of Al, As, V In comparison groups there are established statistically significant differences of coefficients used for the evaluation of the metabolic activity, such as the Na/K, Ca/K, Na/Mg, Fe/Cu. In a sample of the city of Surgut coefficients Ca/K, Fe/Cu and "toxicity index" had the high values. The established differences in the availability of macro- and trace elements for the population of territories are determined by climatogeographic, geochemical features and the specificity of the structure of nutrition.

The actual nutrition of the Omsk University students aged 18-27 years, was studied with the use of the method of the analysis of the frequency of food consumption. There is done quantitative assessment of nutrient consumption related to the fat component of food. There is described the qualitative composition of lipids and its effect on indices of the nutritional status assessed with the use of somatometric, bioelectric impedance and laboratory methods. The nutrition of students is established to be irrational, unbalanced on the lipid component and creates conditions for the formation of diseases with alimentary dietary risk factors. Traditional indices of nutritional status (BMI, W/HR) at this are within the boundaries of normal values, but the composition of the body under the influence of an excess of animal fats with a deficiency of essential polyunsaturated fatty acids is altering that can be diagnosed with the aid of bioimpedance measuring method. There are established correlation relations between the parameters ofconsumption of dietary lipids and indices of the nutritional status in young adults.

There was performed an experimental study of the use of educational programs as tools of the improvement of the structure of nutrition and primary prevention of anemias associated with nutrition. Educational programs were differentiated for each of the target audience (pupils of 5-7 classes, 1-4 year students of the medical school, the adult unorganized population; n = 645). Their efficacy was evaluated with the use of issues included in the educational program and analysis of the actual nutrition (only in groups of students and adults). Performance assessment were: testing on the issues included in the educational program and analysis of actual of dietary intake (only in groups of students and adults). Testing was performed at the points: before the intervention, immediately after 6 and 12 months after intervention. An analysis of the frequency of food consumption with an estimation of the actual consumption of nutrients was carried out at the initial and final points. There was noted the low level of public knowledge about the principles ofrational nutrition: the proportion ofcorrect answers, reflecting the level of awareness ofconstructing an optimal diet in the starting point of the study was 25%for schoolchildren, 45%--in adults, 35%--the students, after the intervention--75%, 90% and 85% respectively. One year after the implementation of the educational program the level ofresidual knowledge of study participants remained at a level above the original (the proportion of correct answers during testing of schoolchildren--50% (p0.001 to baseline), in adults--60% (p = 0.0005), students--60% (p0.001). There were also noted positive changes in the structure of nutrition of study participants 12 months after the intervention: in relation to the initial level there was increased consumption of ascorbic acid and calcium in students, decreased consumption of animal fats in adults and students, there was noted a trend towards increased consumption of dietary iron (p = 0.059). The obtained results testify to the effectiveness of educational programs as a means for the improvement of the structure of the nutrition in different groups of the population and primary prevention of micronutrient deficiencies and diseases with dietary risk factors, including anemia.

Adequate, balanced nutrition is a precondition for the formation of health of the younger generation. The study of the dietary intake and peculiarities of the chemical composition offood is needed to substantiate measures aimed at the correction of the ration of adolescents.Hygienic evaluation of the content of water soluble vitamins in foods and the ration of teenage population of the Omsk region. TASKS OF THE STUDY: 1. To determine levels of water-soluble vitamins content in foods forming the basis of the ration of the population the Omsk region. 2. On the base of a study of the actual nutrition of adolescents to determine the levels of water-soluble vitamins consumption. 3. To give a hygienic assessment of adolescent nutrition in the Omsk region in terms of provision with water-soluble vitamins, and to identify priority directions of the alimentary correction of the revealed disorders.The analysis of 389 food samples for the content of water-soluble vitamins (B1, B2, B6, PP C, folic acid) was performed with the use of reversed-phase HPLC high pressure on the Shimadzu LC-20 Prominence detector. The hygienic assessment of the actual nutrition of adolescents aged 13-17 years (sample survey; n = 250; 2012-2014) in the Omsk region was performed by the method of the analysis of food consumption frequency.There were noted significantly lower concentrations of vitamin B1 and B2 in the studied samples of cereals, bread and vegetables in comparison with reference data. Consumption levels of vitamins B1, B2, PP folic acid in the diet of adolescents in the Omsk region are lower than recommended values. In the structure of nutrition there is not enough milk dairy products--in 82.4 ± 2.4%, fish and sea products in 90.8 ± 1.8% of adolescents.The actual nutrition of the adolescent population of the Omsk region is irrational, unbalanced in quantitative and qualitative terms, and does not provide the necessary level of consumption of most important water-soluble vitamins. Priority for the correction nutrients there are B1, B2, folic acid (B0).

With the use of the method for the analysis of the frequency of food intake there was studied the actual nutrition in adolescents at the age of 12-17 years (n = 257) who were the students of the urban and rural educational institutions (EI) of Altai Krai. The analysis of the menu-layout and assessment of nutritional status was performed with the use of clinical methods. The main group consisted of 125 adolescents from the EI with upgraded technological equipment of the nutrition unit, the comparison group--132 teenagers from EI with non-upgraded equipment of the nutrition department. The program of the modernization of school meals was implemented in several ways and included the reconstruction and technical re-equipment of school nutrition units on the base of modern technologies, delivery and introduction in accordance with the requirements of the school menu, differentiated by age groups with the use of food products aimed at the prevention of diseases caused by micronutrient deficiency. This led to the enlargement of the assortment of dishes, the increase of the coverage for catering students, improvement of the structure of student nutrition, the increased in the intake of a number of nutrients. Symptoms of skin lesions associated with insufficient provision of micronutrients in a core group of students occurred less common than in the comparison group (p0.01).

The application of Bayes theorem in medical diagnostic includes such important step as derivation for every symptom and diagnosis data values of finite or a posteriori probability of presence of germ, for instance S. sanguis, in patients receiving orthodontic treatment. This value expresses importance of the given symptoms for detection of germ presence. In the implemented studies the Bayes theorem was applied to evaluate probability of presence of particular germ in particular concentration (degree of semination, CO) under concrete symptom group. The rates were used to calculate probability of presence of cariesgenic streptococcus S. mutans and S. sanguis in prospect patient. The rates were calculated for the group with fixed orthodontic apparatuses. The high degree of risk of development of caries in children under orthodontic treatment is conditioned by a whole complex of existing unfavorable factors present in oral cavity. Hence, a powerful negative potential to develop expressed cariesgenic situation in oral cavity is present. The analysis of medical data of patients with distal occlusion was applied using Bayes theorem from the point of view their diagnostic value. The study established 36 symptoms, factors, risk factors and background diseases common in case of distal occlusion in children. The probability to detect the mentioned characteristics and likelihood ratio under different degree of concentration of cariesgenic Streptococcus mutans and Streptococcus sanguis in dental plaque of children was considered. The establishment of character of likelihood ratio for different qualitative content of streptococcus in case of isolation from biotope of dental plaque permitted to determine the informative characteristics. The Bayesian model can be applied in clinics as a computer program to process incoming information about patients with distal occlusion under active orthodontic treatment. The developed diagnostic algorithm in a fast and simple mode of clinical detection of caries and determination of concentration of cariesgenic Streptococcus.

Drinking water calcium and magnesium levels were examined for impact on morbidity in a model rural area of a West Siberian region. It was ascertained that there were negative correlations between the water levels of the above elements and the incidence of respiratory, gastrointestinal, and locomotor diseases and positive correlations between the concentrations of calcium and magnesium and the incidence of nervous, urogenital, and eye diseases. It is concluded that by adjusting the findings, the medical care availability factor should be taken into account in the investigations using the health indices calculated on the data from official medical accounts. This investigation has shown the estimation of the drinking water levels of calcium and magnesium as a significant hygienic problem for a model region.

In article organizational aspects of carrying out preventive and antiepidemic actions at a regional level are considered at the bird's flu epizootia. Epizootic researches have shown, that infection of poultry has taken place as a result of contact to a wild bird. Serological inspection 521 persons on presence of antibodies to a influenza A (H5N1) has not revealed seropositive persons. The conclusion, that the forecast of development of a situation for spring of 2006 is made in view of a direction of migration of a wild waterfowl is unfavourable.

The organization of sanitary-and-epidemiologic supervision of an integrated poultry farm during epizootia of avian flu is devoted. The unsuccessful situation demands acceptance of additional measures which provided performance antiepizootic, preventive and antiepidemic measures with a view of restriction and distribution of an infection on poultry-farming enterprise. The disinfection barriers of several levels are established. Are organized a sanitary filtrates for the personnel and regular medical supervision over workers of the enterprise and their families. It is carried out the serological control over presence of specific antibodies to a virus of influenza virus among the workers contacting to a bird. Monitoring research of tests of blood of birds on antibodies to the influenza virus was carried out since August, 2005.
