Abstract: We present three-particle mixed-harmonic correlations 〈cos⁡(mϕa+nϕb−(m+n)ϕc)〉 for harmonics m,n=1−3 for charged particles in sNN=200 GeV Au+Au collisions at RHIC. These measurements provide information on the three-dimensional structure of the initial collision zone and are important for constraining models of a subsequent low-viscosity quark–gluon plasma expansion phase. We investigate correlations between the first, second and third harmonics predicted as a consequence of fluctuations in the initial state. The dependence of the correlations on the pseudorapidity separation between particles show hints of a breaking of longitudinal invariance. We compare our results to a number of state-of-the art hydrodynamic calculations with different initial states and temperature dependent viscosities. These measurements provide important steps towards constraining the temperature dependent viscosity and longitudinal structure of the initial state at RHIC.

Abstract: We present the first measurement of the proton–Ω correlation function in heavy-ion collisions for the central (0–40%) and peripheral (40–80%) Au + Au collisions at sNN=200 GeV by the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider (RHIC). Predictions for the ratio of peripheral collisions to central collisions for the proton–Ω correlation function are sensitive to the presence of a nucleon–Ω bound state. These predictions are based on the proton–Ω interaction extracted from (2+1)-flavor lattice QCD calculations at the physical point. The measured ratio of the proton–Ω correlation function between the peripheral (small system) and central (large system) collisions is less than unity for relative momentum smaller than 40 MeV/c. Comparison of our measured correlation ratio with theoretical calculation slightly favors a proton–Ω bound system with a binding energy of ∼ 27 MeV. Keywords: Correlations, Femtoscopy, NΩ dibaryon

Abstract: The combined X-ray absorption and emission spectroscopy approach was applied for the detailed electronic structure and composition studies of silicon nanoparticles produced by the ultrasound milling of heavily and lowly doped Si nanowires formed by metal-assisted wet chemical etching. The ultrasoft X-ray emission spectroscopy and synchrotron based X-ray absorption near edges structure spectroscopy techniques were utilize to study the valence and conduction bands electronic structure together with developed surface phase composition qualitative analysis. Our achieved results based on the implemented surface sensitive techniques strongly suggest that nanoparticles under studies show a significant presence of the silicon suboxides depending on the pre-nature of initial Si wafers. The controlled variation of the Si nanoparticles surface composition and electronic structure, including band gap engineering, can open a new prospective for a wide range Si-based nanostructures application including the integration of such structures with organic or biological systems.

Abstract: Fluctuations of conserved quantities such as baryon number, charge, and strangeness are sensitive to the correlation length of the hot and dense matter created in relativistic heavy-ion collisions and can be used to search for the QCD critical point. We report the first measurements of the moments of net-kaon multiplicity distributions in Au+Au collisions at sNN=7.7, 11.5, 14.5, 19.6, 27, 39, 62.4, and 200 GeV. The collision centrality and energy dependence of the mean (M), variance (σ2), skewness (S), and kurtosis (κ) for net-kaon multiplicity distributions as well as the ratio σ2/M and the products Sσ and κσ2 are presented. Comparisons are made with Poisson and negative binomial baseline calculations as well as with UrQMD, a transport model (UrQMD) that does not include effects from the QCD critical point. Within current uncertainties, the net-kaon cumulant ratios appear to be monotonic as a function of collision energy.

Abstract: New measurements of directed flow for charged hadrons, characterized by the Fourier coefficient v1, are presented for transverse momenta pT, and centrality intervals in Au+Au collisions recorded by the STAR experiment for the center-of-mass energy range sNN=7.7–200 GeV. The measurements underscore the importance of momentum conservation, and the characteristic dependencies on sNN, centrality and pT are consistent with the expectations of geometric fluctuations generated in the initial stages of the collision, acting in concert with a hydrodynamic-like expansion. The centrality and pT dependencies of v1even, as well as an observed similarity between its excitation function and that for v3, could serve as constraints for initial-state models. The v1even excitation function could also provide an important supplement to the flow measurements employed for precision extraction of the temperature dependence of the specific shear viscosity.

7. NEW DATA ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF BATS (CHIROPTERA) IN THE FLAT PART OF THE REPUBLIC OF DAGESTAN

Abstract: Background. The territorial study of the bat population of Dagestan remains insufficient. There are practically no data from remote and hard-to-reach mountain areas, and data on the flat part are modest. There are species, which findings are known only from the first half of the last century. The distribution features are unknown for many species. There is no accurate information about migrations of migratory species and the nature of their seasonal location. The aim of the work is to provide new information about bats of the flat part of Dagestan and adjacent foothill territories, as well as to give a brief analysis of the peculiarities of their distribution. Materials and methods. The studies were carried out from 14 to 28 of May and from 31 August to 12 September 2019. Bats were caught with spider nets at night and in the daytime they were searched in shelters. For remote detection of flying animals, ultrasonic detectors D-240 x and BATTLOGGER M were used. The initial signal processing was carried out in Betexplorer 2.1, and the final analysis-BatSound 3.31. Results. During the work 23 points were examined and 215 individuals of 19 species were found, 2 more species (Pl. auritus and N. lasiopterus) were registered only using echolocation signals. Conclusion. It was found that many species have a wider distribution than previously known (R. hipposideros, R. ferrumequinum, M. bechsteinii, M. mystacinus, M. davidii, N. leisleri). The habitat of M. blythii covers various landscapes from the lower reaches of the Terek river to the southern borders of the Republic. N. lasiopterus, N. leisleri, P. pygmaeus, H. savii, B. barbastellus and B. caspica habitat in the region is confirmed. A sporadic distribution has been noted for M. daubentoni. P. pipistrellus, P. kuhlii, P. nathusii, N. noctula and E. serotinus should be considered the most common in the flat part, and in some areas are massive. For pairs of cryptic species (M. mystacinus and M. davidii, P. pipistrellus and P. pygmaeus) places of their joint habitat are established. The species status of M. nattereri s.l. living in the Sarykum region has been revised. Based on the results of genetic analysis specimens from this part of the region should be classified as M. cf. tschuliensis. Data on migratory species show that the flat part of the territory serves as a place of mass summer stay of males of N. noctula and P. nathusii. At the same time, the findings of pregnant females prove that part of their populations in the Dagestan is settled and uses the floodplain forests of the plain as a place for reproduction.

Abstract: The transversity distribution, which describes transversely polarized quarks in transversely polarized nucleons, is a fundamental component of the spin structure of the nucleon, and is only loosely constrained by global fits to existing semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering (SIDIS) data. In transversely polarized p↑+p collisions it can be accessed using transverse polarization dependent fragmentation functions which give rise to azimuthal correlations between the polarization of the struck parton and the final state scalar mesons.This letter reports on spin dependent di-hadron correlations measured by the STAR experiment. The new dataset corresponds to 25 pb−1 integrated luminosity of p↑+p collisions at s=500 GeV, an increase of more than a factor of ten compared to our previous measurement at s=200 GeV. Non-zero asymmetries sensitive to transversity are observed at a Q2 of several hundred GeV and are found to be consistent with the former measurement and a model calculation. We expect that these data will enable an extraction of transversity with comparable precision to current SIDIS datasets but at much higher momentum transfers where subleading effects are suppressed. Abstract: We report the direct virtual photon invariant yields in the transverse momentum ranges 16 GeV/c the production follows TAA scaling. Model calculations with contributions from thermal radiation and initial hard parton scattering are consistent within uncertainties with the direct virtual photon invariant yield.

Abstract: Quark interactions with topological gluon configurations can induce chirality imbalance and local parity violation in quantum chromodynamics. This can lead to electric charge separation along the strong magnetic field in relativistic heavy-ion collisions – the chiral magnetic effect (CME). We report measurements by the STAR collaboration of a CME-sensitive observable in p+Au and d+Au collisions at 200 GeV, where the CME is not expected, using charge-dependent pair correlations relative to a third particle. We observe strong charge-dependent correlations similar to those measured in heavy-ion collisions. This bears important implications for the interpretation of the heavy-ion data.

Abstract: J/ψ suppression has long been considered a sensitive signature of the formation of the Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP) in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. In this letter, we present the first measurement of inclusive J/ψ production at mid-rapidity through the dimuon decay channel in Au+Au collisions at sNN=200 GeV with the STAR experiment. These measurements became possible after the installation of the Muon Telescope Detector was completed in 2014. The J/ψ yields are measured in a wide transverse momentum (pT) range of 0.15 GeV/c to 12 GeV/c from central to peripheral collisions. They extend the kinematic reach of previous measurements at RHIC with improved precision. In the 0-10% most central collisions, the J/ψ yield is suppressed by a factor of approximately 3 for pT>5 GeV/c relative to that in p+p collisions scaled by the number of binary nucleon-nucleon collisions. The J/ψ nuclear modification factor displays little dependence on pT in all centrality bins. Model calculations can qualitatively describe the data, providing further evidence for the color-screening effect experienced by J/ψ mesons in the QGP. Abstract: Azimuthal correlations of charged hadrons with direct-photon (γdir) and neutral-pion (π0) trigger particles are analyzed in central Au+Au and minimum-bias p+p collisions at sNN=200 GeV in the STAR experiment. The charged-hadron per-trigger yields at mid-rapidity from central Au+Au collisions are compared with p+p collisions to quantify the suppression in Au+Au collisions. The suppression of the away-side associated-particle yields per γdir trigger is independent of the transverse momentum of the trigger particle (pTtrig), whereas the suppression is smaller at low transverse momentum of the associated charged hadrons (pTassoc). Within uncertainty, similar levels of suppression are observed for γdir and π0 triggers as a function of zT (≡pTassoc/pTtrig). The results are compared with energy-loss-inspired theoretical model predictions. Our studies support previous conclusions that the lost energy reappears predominantly at low transverse momentum, regardless of the trigger energy.

The author of the article analyzed the research of Russian and foreign scientists on the theory of sustainable development from different perspectives, as well as the Concept of the Russian Federation transition to sustainable development, the main criteria for sustainability, particularly management of industrial enterprises in the field of nature and the environment. It was found that the implementation of sustainable development ideas "oil for future generations" is not only a moral and environmental dimension, and financial performance. If companies invest in the exploration work sufficient to sustain growth of proved reserves of raw materials, it will inevitably raise the level of its capitalization.

Abstract: We measure the top quark mass in dilepton final states of tt¯ events in pp¯ collisions at s=1.96 TeV, using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9.7 fb−1 at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. The analysis features a comprehensive optimization of the neutrino weighting method to minimize the statistical uncertainties. We also improve the calibration of jet energies using the calibration determined in tt¯→lepton+jets events, which reduces the otherwise limiting systematic uncertainty from the jet energy scale. The measured top quark mass is mt=173.32±1.36(stat)±0.85(syst) GeV.

Abstract: The STAR Collaboration presents for the first time two-dimensional di-hadron correlations with identified leading hadrons in 200 GeV central Au+Au and minimum-bias d+Au collisions to explore hadronization mechanisms in the quark gluon plasma. The enhancement of the jet-like yield for leading pions in Au+Au data with respect to the d+Au reference and the absence of such an enhancement for leading non-pions (protons and kaons) are discussed within the context of a quark recombination scenario. The correlated yield at large angles, specifically in the ridge region, is found to be significantly higher for leading non-pions than pions. The consistencies of the constituent quark scaling, azimuthal harmonic model and a mini-jet modification model description of the data are tested, providing further constraints on hadronization.

Abstract: Dihadron angular correlations in d+Au collisions at sNN=200 GeV are reported as a function of the measured zero-degree calorimeter neutral energy and the forward charged hadron multiplicity in the Au-beam direction. A finite correlated yield is observed at large relative pseudorapidity (Δη) on the near side (i.e. relative azimuth Δϕ∼0). This correlated yield as a function of Δη appears to scale with the dominant, primarily jet-related, away-side (Δϕ∼π) yield. The Fourier coefficients of the Δϕ correlation, Vn=〈cos⁡nΔϕ〉, have a strong Δη dependence. In addition, it is found that V1 is approximately inversely proportional to the mid-rapidity event multiplicity, while V2 is independent of it with similar magnitude in the forward (d-going) and backward (Au-going) directions.

Abstract: A data-driven method was applied to Au+Au collisions at sNN=200 GeV made with the STAR detector at RHIC to isolate pseudorapidity distance Δη-dependent and Δη-independent correlations by using two- and four-particle azimuthal cumulant measurements. We identified a Δη-independent component of the correlation, which is dominated by anisotropic flow and flow fluctuations. It was also found to be independent of η within the measured range of pseudorapidity |η|0.7. Keywords: Heavy-ion, Flow, Nonflow

Abstract: Dihadron correlations are analyzed in sNN=200 GeV d+Au collisions classified by forward charged particle multiplicity and zero-degree neutral energy in the Au-beam direction. It is found that the jetlike correlated yield increases with the event multiplicity. After taking into account this dependence, the non-jet contribution on the away side is minimal, leaving little room for a back-to-back ridge in these collisions.

Abstract: We present a measurement of the cross sections for the associated production of a W boson with at least one heavy quark jet, b or c, in proton–antiproton collisions. Data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 8.7 fb−1 recorded with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron pp¯ Collider at s=1.96 TeV are used to measure the cross sections differentially as a function of the jet transverse momenta in the range 20 to 150 GeV. These results are compared to calculations of perturbative QCD theory as well as predictions from Monte Carlo generators.

27. Information asymmetry and the balance of interests of banks, their customers and the economy

Abstract: Subject. The article analyzes the imbalance of interests of banks and their clients in connection with information asymmetry. Objectives. The aims include improving the efficiency of the banking market of the Russian Federation to enhance its support to economic development, working out proposals to reduce the imbalance of interests of banks and their customers so that the latter achieve their goals, perfecting risk management in banks. Methods. The study draws on logical and systems approaches, general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis of empirical data, comparative analysis of theoretical approaches to consideration of problems. Results. The concentration of capital in a handful of banks in any country market does not promote competition development, customer service quality improvement, enhanced contribution of the banking system to the development of the economy through credit support. The findings can be used by the banking market participants, public authorities, research and educational organizations when considering options for the development of the banking industry. Conclusions. The relationship of banks and clients should be based on generation of revenues and profit through assisting customers to achieve their goals, rather than on simple sale of banking products. In this case, banks can receive maximum information for adequate assessment of risks related to the service. This approach is beneficial for both parties and is applicable for building relationships between individual banks with retail and corporate customers, and the banking system as a whole with the non-financial sector of the economy.

29. Porous Alumina-Bentonite Ceramics: Effects of Fillers and Molding Technique

Abstract: In porous ceramics processing, the green body shaping technique largely determines the control of the final porous structure and material properties. The study is aimed at finding affordable approaches for the shaping of two different narrow-fraction fillers: F240 electro-corundum and hollow alumina microspheres. The results revealed the influence of accessible shaping techniques (semi-dry pressing, direct casting, and slip casting) on the structural and mechanical properties of porous alumina ceramics. The starting materials were characterized by XRD, SEM, EDX, and BET. The manufactured ceramics were studied in terms of microstructure, density, porosity, and flexural strength. Free stacking of the fillers’ particles during the direct and slip casting resulted in a higher porosity of ceramics compared with that of semi-dry pressing, while reducing its mechanical strength. Direct casting appeared preferable for ceramics with hollow microspheres because it maintained the integrity of the filler particles and preserved their inherent porosity in the ceramics. The optimal parameters for porous ceramics processing were determined as follows: pressing at 30 MPa and sintering at 1280–1320 °C with a bentonite content of 15 wt.%. In this case, the average density and open porosity of F240 samples reached 2.22 g cm−3 and 40.4%, while samples containing hollow microspheres reached 2.20 g cm−3 and 36.7%, respectively.

30. Sigmoidal dynamics of macro-financial leverage

Abstract: Logistic sigmoids due to their flexibility seem to be natural candidates for modelling macrofinancial leverage behavior. The sigmoidal leverage transition towards its stationary value, which was driven by the yield spreads, could have replicated the dynamics of macrofinancial assets, debt and capital. The leverage transition, in its turn, has been a major factor in better balancing macrofinancial liabilities and assets. The sigmoidal leverage trajectories including their inflections and different phases were identified by a nonlinear transition function providing information necessary for steering the process towards its stable state. Solving the stationary Kolmogorov-Fokker-Plank logistic equation revealed that random leverage realizations might follow the gamma distribution. Parameters of its stationary probability density function, as well as the expected and the modal leverage, were dependent on the process variance and the yield spreads. Thus, the stochastic leverage behaviour reproduced a sequence of stylized phases similar to the observed in the US Treasuries market meltdown in 2020. In particular, larger yield spreads and smaller modal leverage signalled a "defensive" market response to sudden volatility increases. In addition, it was shown that the logistic leverage modelling could be helpful in the analysis of debt and money dynamics including some consequences of "minting a one trillion dollars coin".

31. Metabolite profiling of leaves of three Epilobium species

Abstract: BACKGROUND: The ability of plants to adapt to oxygen deficiency is associated with the presence of various adaptations, many of which are mediated by significant changes of metabolism. These changes allow resistant wetland plants to grow even in oxygen-deficient environment. AIM: The aim of the study was to carry out metabolic profiling of the leaves of the wetland species Epilobium palustre and Epilobium hirsutum, and the mesophyte species Epilobium angustifolium in order to identify the most characteristic metabolome traits of hypoxia-resistant plants. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Metabolite profiling was performed by GC-MS. Statistical analysis of metabolomics data was processed using R 4.2.1 Funny-Looking Kid. RESULTS: The resulting profile included about 360 compounds. 70 of these were identified and 50 compounds were determined to a class. Sugars (64) were the most widely represented in the obtained profiles. 16 amino and 20 carboxylic acids, lipids and secondary compounds have been identified. Significant differences were revealed between the profiles of leaf metabolomes of mesophyte E. angustifolium and hydrophytes E. hirsutum and E. palustre. The mesophyte was characterized by high levels of sugars. The metabolomes of wetland Epilobium species practically did not differ from each other and were characterized by the accumulation of amino acids, including GABA shunt intermediates, dicarboxylic acids of the Krebs cycle, and metabolites of glycolysis and lactic acid fermentation, which reflects the stimulation of anaerobic respiration, nitrogen metabolism, and alternative pathways of NAD(P)H reoxidation in wetland plants. CONCLUSIONS: Traits of metabolic profiles detected in hydrophyte Epilobium species can be used to assess the degree of plant resistance to oxygen deficiency.

Abstract: The paper presents computer simulation studies of burst injection of carbon and tungsten dust particles in DIII-D-like edge plasmas. The injection causes a large transient influx of the low- and high-Z impurities associated with the dust ablation in the plasmas. The dust transport and the effects of the ablated impurities on the edge plasma dynamics in a modern mid-size tokamak geometry are investigated for low- and high-power plasma discharge conditions. The core plasma contamination with dust-ablated impurities and the factors affecting it are evaluated.

Abstract: If it is necessary to determine the heights of a large number of points, it is effective to use fan-shaped trigonometric leveling. The length of sights can change within a wide range, so it is important to know what influence the movement of the focusing lens in the vertical index error of the total station can have. The aim of the study is to determine the dependence of vertical index error on the distance to the surveying target. Three total stations were used in the work, the vertical index error was determined when the target was located at a distance of 3 to 100 m. It was established that when the target is moved in the distance range from 3 to 15 m, vertical index error change by 5-10ʹʹ. In each total station when moving the focusing lens, the location of vertical index error changes individually.

Abstract: The article discusses an urgent problem for the innovative development of Russia - the orientation of schoolchildren to the choice of engineering professions through the organization of engineering education in the classroom for extracurricular activities. The authors of the article introduced and disclosed the concept of "engineering education" through the formation of cognitive interest in engineering activities. The essence of engineering education at the school stage of education and the main directions of its implementation are revealed. An important area of engineering education of students is the use of business games in the educational process of extracurricular activities. The article presents a game technology developed and implemented by the authors, which combines elements of a business game, a sports relay race and professional (engineering) tests. The structure, content and criteria for evaluating the business game-relay "Professional tests" with the aim of immersing students in specific types of educational activities, close to engineering.

46. Numerical-statistical study of the prognostic efficiency of the SEIR model

Abstract: A comparative analysis of the differential and the corresponding stochastic Poisson SEIR-models is performed for the test problem of COVID-19 epidemic in Novosibirsk modelling the period from March 23, 2020 to June 21, 2020 with the initial population N = 2 798 170. Varying the initial population in the form N = n m with m ⩾ 2, we show that the average numbers of identified sick patients is less (beginning from April 7, 2020) than the corresponding differential values by the quantity that does not differ statistically from C(t)/m, with C ≈ 27.3 on June 21, 2020. This relationship allows us to use the stochastic model for big population N. The practically useful ‘two sigma’ confidential interval for the time interval from June 1, 2020 to June 21, 2020 is about 108% (as to the statistical average) and involves the corresponding real statistical estimates. The influence of the introduction of delay on the prognosis, i.e., the incubation period corresponding to Poisson model is also studied.

47. THE STRESS IN THE ACL, ACL GRAFT, AND OTHER JOINT ELEMENTS WHILE WEIGHT-BEARING IN FULL EXTENSION DEPENDING ON THE POSTERIOR TIBIAL SLOPE

Abstract: The safety of early weight bearing after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction and the degree of posterior tibial slope (PTS) impact on ACL and ACL graft are still uncertain due to the limitations of previous studies. The study aimed to evaluate the effect of PTS change on ACL and ACL graft stress. We created the complex multicomponent static models of physiologically normal knee joint, taking into account the different PTS, the ligaments of the knee joint, including the ALL, articular cartilage, and menisci, literature data on muscle tension also with double-bundle ACL and single-bundle ACL graft to determine deformations and stress on the anatomical elements of the joint at a qualitatively new level. Stress in the knee structures was assessed using the finite element method separately with a 6 mm diameter double-bundle normal ACL and an 8 mm single-bundle ACL graft for the two variants of the tibial plateau slope: 5° and 13.9°. Raising PTS from 5° to 13.9° increases stress in the ACL by 1.29 - 1.45 times and in the single-bundle ACL graft by 1.75 - 1.81 times in the upright position with knees in full extension. Stress in ALL increases with higher PTS by 1.58-2.00 times in the knee joint with double-bundle ACL and 1.93-2.02 times in the knee joint with single-bundle ACL graft while weight bearing in full extension. Increasing the PTS angle from 5° to 13.9° with healthy ACL stress in the meniscus increases by 1.05 - 1.34 times, and with a single-bundle ACL graft - by 2.04 - 2.30 times. Replacing the double-bundle ACL with the single-bundle ACL graft also causes an increase in its stress compared to intact ACL under all studied conditions. Increased PTS and ACL reconstruction significantly increase stress in most knee anatomical elements while weight bearing in full extension. Even with a total weight of up to 150 kg, the critical value of stress for the rupture of the ACL graft from a one-time load is not achieved even after reducing its breaking load in 6 weeks. In the early postoperative period, the weakest link is the fixation of the graft with the interference screw. Cyclic load on the fully extended knee (regular walking) can provoke slipping out of the graft from under the interference screw.

50. Multivalley Electron Conduction at the Indirect-Direct Crossover Point in Highly Tensile-Strained Germanium

Abstract: As forward-looking electron devices increasingly adopt high-mobility low-band-gap materials, such as germanium (Ge), questions remain regarding the feasibility of strain engineering in low-band-gap systems. Particularly, the Ge L-Γ valley separation (∼150 meV) can be overcome by introducing a high degree of tensile strain (ε ≥ 1.5%). It is therefore essential to understand the nature of highly strained Ge transport, wherein multivalley electron conduction becomes a possibility. Here, we report on the competitiveness between L- and Γ-valley transport in highly tensile-strained (ε ∼ 1.6%) Ge/In0.24Ga0.76As heterostructures. Temperature-dependent magnetotransport analysis reveals two contributing carrier populations, identified as lower- and higher-mobility L- and Γ-valley electrons (in Ge), using temperature-dependent Boltzmann transport modeling. Coupling this interpretation with electron-cyclotron-resonance studies, the effective mass (m*) of the higher-mobility Γ-valley electrons is probed, revealing m* = (0.049 ± 0.007)me. Moreover, a comparison of empirical and theoretical m* indicates that these electrons reside primarily in the first-two quantum sublevels of the Ge Γ valley. Consequently, our results provide an insight into the strain-dependent carrier dynamics of Ge, offering alternative pathways toward efficacious strain engineering. Accepted version
