1. Research on anti-rollover control of three-axle rescue vehicle based on active suspension and differential braking

Abstract

Due to its intricate operational environment, substantial mass, and elevated center of mass, the three-axle emergency rescue vehicle is more prone to rollover. This study aims to enhance the operational stability and mitigate rollover risks by establishing a rollover dynamic model with 11 degrees of freedom. Using the coupling characteristics of vehicle dynamics and tire force, an anti-rollover control strategy of the three-axle vehicle based on the cooperative work of differential braking and active suspension is proposed. According to the vehicle motion characteristics, the active suspension controller is built by using a fuzzy PID algorithm, and the differential braking controller is built by using the improved adaptive model predictive control algorithm. The step and fishhook tests of differential braking, active suspension control and joint control are carried out respectively. The simulation results show that the joint control strategy can effectively reduce the rollover tendency of the vehicle, and further improve the anti-rollover ability of the vehicle compared with the single system control.

Abstract

Highly selective molecularly imprinted nanocomposites MIPRhB-PPy/TiO2 were successfully prepared by surface molecular imprinting technique with rhodamine B (RhB) as template molecule. The prepared MIPRhB-PPy/TiO2 coated with a thin imprinted layer could respond to visible light. The static and dynamic binding experiments revealed that MIPRhB-PPy/TiO2 possessed strong affinity, high adsorption capacity and fast adsorption rate for RhB. The selectivity experiments indicated that MIPRhB-PPy/TiO2 had excellent recognition selectivity for RhB. Selective photocatalytic degradation experiments indicated that the apparent rate constant (k) for the photodegradation of RhB over MIPRhB-PPy/TiO2 is 0.0158 min–1, being 3.6 times of that over non-imprinted nanocomposites NIPRhB-PPy/TiO2 (0.0044 min–1). Compared with the NIPRhB-PPy/TiO2, MIPRhB-PPy/TiO2 showed higher photocatalytic selectivity toward RhB under visible light, which was attributed the introduction of the imprinted cavities on the surface of MIPRhB-PPy/TiO2. Moreover, MIPRhB-PPy/TiO2 exhibited high reusability and stability. The results indicate that molecularly imprinted nanocomposites MIPRhB-PPy/TiO2 have a promising perspective in industrial wastewater treatment.

Abstract

The grain uniformity of a 316L/EH40 composite plate during multipass forming was studied by numerical simulation and hot rolling tests. In view of the total fixed deformation with a different number of passes, grain size variations on the surface, in the center, and at the interface of the base layer, and those on the surface and at the interface of the clad layer after rolling were simulated and analyzed. The rolling schedule was established to meet the adequate uniformity level of the base and clad layers. The most effective process was verified by the vacuum hot rolling test of a four-layer symmetrical billet. The metallographic images were taken in different locations of the composite plate, and the grain sizes in the images were measured by the cut-point method. Experimental results were compared with simulation data, demonstrating their reliability; the error between them was maintained within 5.5%.

Abstract

We aimed to describe the surgical technique and clinical outcomes of paraspinal-approach reduction and fixation (PARF) in a group of patients with Denis type B thoracolumbar burst fracture (TLBF) with neurological deficiencies. A total of 62 patients with Denis B TLBF with neurological deficiencies were included in this study between January 2009 and December 2011. Clinical evaluations including the Frankel scale, pain visual analog scale (VAS) and radiological assessment (CT scans for fragment reduction and X-ray for the Cobb angle, adjacent superior and inferior intervertebral disc height, and vertebral canal diameter) were performed preoperatively and at 3 days, 6 months, and 1 and 2 years postoperatively. All patients underwent successful PARF, and were followed-up for at least 2 years. Average surgical time, blood loss and incision length were recorded. The sagittal vertebral canal diameter was significantly enlarged. The canal stenosis index was also improved. Kyphosis was corrected and remained at 8.6±1.4o (P>0.05) 1 year postoperatively. Adjacent disc heights remained constant. Average Frankel grades were significantly improved at the end of follow-up. All 62 patients were neurologically assessed. Abstract

The decay ψ′→π+π−π0 is analyzed using a sample of 14 million ψ′ events taken with the BESII detector at the BEPC, and the branching fraction is measured to be B(ψ′→π+π−π0)=(18.1±1.8±1.9)×10−5. A partial wave analysis is carried out using the helicity amplitude method. ψ′→ρ(770)π is observed, and the branching fraction is measured to be B(ψ′→ρ(770)π)=(5.1±0.7±1.1)×10−5, where the first error is statistical and the second one is systematic. A high mass enhancement with mass around 2.15 GeV/c2 is also observed. Attributing this enhancement to the ρ(2150) resonance, the branching fraction is measured to be B(ψ′→ρ(2150)π→π+π−π0)=(19.4±2.5−3.4+11.5)×10−5. The results will help in the understanding of the longstanding “ρπ puzzle” between J/ψ and ψ′ hadronic decays.

Abstract

Nicotinic acid and niacinamide are used in a variety of therapeutic application as important components of the co-factors, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate. Decreasing the adverse effects will improve the stability and absorption of nicotinic acid. Nicotinic acid aspartic acid dipeptide and tetrapeptide were synthesized via Fmoc solid-phase synthesis, purified via reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography and characterized via proton and 13C nuclear magnetic resonance and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry to change the property of nicotinic acid for promoting application of niacin derivatives. The interactions of nicotinic acid and nicotinoyl aspartic acid derivatives with calf thymus DNA were investigated by ultraviolet-visible absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy. The hypochromicity in ultraviolet spectra of DNA with increasing of nicotinic acid and derivatives concentration was observed. The fluorescence quenching of nicotinic acid and derivatives to ethidium bromide-DNA was mixture mode according to the Stern-Volmer equation. The results indicated that the interaction modes of nicotinic acid and nicotinoyl derivatives with calf thymus DNA were mixed mode of electrostatic repulsion and embed interaction, and the interaction of derivatives with calf thymus DNA was weakened by the carboxyl number of aspartic acids. Bioavailability and adverse event potential of the synthesized nicotinoyl aspartic acid di and tetrapeptides required to be evaluated.

Abstract

Aligned ZnO nanowires (NWs) were obtained by hydrothermal method using annealed ZnO film as seed layer.Besides Si(400), only ZnO(002) diffraction peak was observed in X-ray diffraction(XRD) pattern. The lasing emissions were observed in optically pumped aligned ZnO NWs. Multi-mode emission peaks emerged when the excitation power density exceed the threshold.The integrated intensity of the spectra increases nonlinearly with the excitation power density, and the transition point from the spontaneous emission to lasing at about 96 kW/cm2 can be clearly observed.

Abstract

Based on 58 x 10(6) J/psi events collected by BESII, the decay J/psi -> (KKS)-K-+/-pi(-/+)pi(0) is studied. In the invariant mass spectrum recoiling against the charged K*(892)(+/-), the charged kappa particle is found as a low mass enhancement. If a Breit-Wigner function of constant width is used to parameterize the kappa, its pole locates at (849 +/- 77(-14)(+18)) - i(256 +/- 40(-22)(+46)) MeV/c(2). Also in this channel, the decay J/psi -> K*(892)K+*(892)- is observed for the first time. Its branching ratio is (1.00 +/- 0.19(-0.32)(+0.11)) x 10(-3). (C) 2010 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Abstract

Using 58 x 10(6) J/psi events collected with the Beijing Spectrometer (BESII) at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider (BEPC), the branching fractions of J/psi to p (p) over bar eta and p (p) over bar eta' are determined. The ratio Gamma(J/psi -> p (p) over bar eta/Gamma(J/psi -> p (p) over bar obtained by this analysis agrees with expectations based on soft-pion theorem calculations. Abstract

Using a data sample with a total integrated luminosity of 10.0 pb −1 collected at center-of-mass energies of 2.6, 3.07 and 3.65 GeV with BESII, cross sections for e + e − annihilation into hadronic final states ( R values) are measured with statistical errors that are smaller than 1%, and systematic errors that are about 3.5 % . The running strong interaction coupling constants α s ( 3 ) ( s ) and α s ( 5 ) ( M Z 2 ) are determined from the R values.

Abstract

Lasing action is realized in a ZnO/GaN heterojunction by employing a MgO interlayer. The MgO layer can confine electrons in the ZnO layer, while holes can pass through the MgO layer and enter into the n-ZnO layer from the p-GaN layer. The threshold of the lasing action is as low as 0.8 mA.

Abstract

In this representation, some recent results from BESII J/psi decays have been represented, including the analysis of J/psi -> omega p (p) over bar which is helpful to understand the threshold enhancement structure founded in J/psi -> gamma p (p) over bar is from pure final states interference(FSI) or not and the analysis of J/psi -> pK (Lambda) over bar the enhancement based on it some discussion will be hold if the structure is same one as the baryon excited states N* found in J/psi -> p (p) over bar pi(0).

Abstract

By analyzing the data sets of 17.3 pb−1 taken at s = 3.773 GeV and of 6.5 pb−1 taken at s = 3.650 GeV with the BES-II detector at the BEPC collider, we measure the observed cross sections for the exclusive light hadron final states of K S 0 K − π + , K S 0 K − π + π 0 , K S 0 K − π + π + π − , K S 0 K − π + π + π − π 0 , K S 0 K − π + π + π + π − π − and K S 0 K − π + π 0 π 0 produced in e + e − annihilation at the two energy points. We set the upper limits on the observed cross sections and the branching fractions for ψ ( 3770 ) decay to these final states at 90% C.L.

Abstract

Nitrogen-doped p-type ZnO thin films were grown on c-plane sapphire (Al2O3) substrates by plasma-assistant molecular beam epitaxy, where O-2 and N-2 were introduced via a RF plasma source simultaneously. In situ optical emission spectra of the plasma were employed to monitor the chemical species in the active gas sources, one of the most important growth parameters. By adjusting the growth parameters, we confirm the optimal condition for p-type doping growth. The reproducible p-type ZnO thin films have the hole concentration (N-A - N-D) up to 1.0 x 10(18) cm(-3) and the resistivity of 6 Omega cm. A ZnO LED was fabricated by depositing undoped n-type ZnO on the p-type layer. Electroluminescence spectra centered about 430 nm were obtained even at 350 K.

Abstract

We report measurements of the line shapes of D + D − , D 0 D ¯ 0 and D D ¯ production as well as the line shape of the ratio of the production rates of D + D − and D 0 D ¯ 0 in e + e − annihilation at ψ ( 3770 ) resonance. We find that the line shapes of D + D − , D 0 D ¯ 0 and D D ¯ production are similar to an anomalous line shape of cross sections for e + e − → hadrons observed in the center-of-mass energy range from 3.70 to 3.87 GeV.

Abstract

Rare decay modes J / ψ → D s − π + + c.c. , J / ψ → D − π + + c.c. , and J / ψ → D ¯ 0 K ¯ 0 + c.c. are searched for using 5.77 × 10 7 J / ψ events collected with the BESII detector at the BEPC. No signal above background is observed. We present upper limits on the branching fractions of B ( J / ψ → D s − π + ) 1.3 × 10 −4 , B ( J / ψ → D − π + ) 7.5 × 10 −5 , and B ( J / ψ → D ¯ 0 K ¯ 0 ) 1.7 × 10 −4 at the 90% confidence level.

Abstract

This paper describes ZnO nanocrystals embedded in BaF2 matrices by the magnetron sputtering method in an attempt to use fluoride as a shell layer to embed ZnO nanocrystals core. BaF2 is a wide-band gap material, and can confine carriers in the ZnO films. As a result, the exciton emission intensity should be enhanced. The sample was annealed at 773 K, and X-ray diffraction (XRD) results showed that ZnO nanocrystals with wurtzite structure were embedded in BaF2 matrices. Raman-scattering spectra also confirmed the formation of ZnO nanoparticles. Abnormal longitudinal-optical (LO) phonon-dominant multiphonon Raman scattering was observed in the sample. Room-temperature photoluminescence (PL) spectra showed an ultraviolet emission peak at 374 nm. The origin of the ultraviolet emission is discussed here with the help of temperature-dependent PL spectra. The ultraviolet emission band was a mixture of free exciton and bound exciton recombination observed in the low temperature PL spectra (at 77 K). Abnormal temperature dependence of ultraviolet near-band-edge emission-integrated intensity of the sample was observed. The band tail state was observed in the absorption spectra, illustrating that the impurity-related defects were caused by the shell of the BaF2 grain layer. For comparison, ZnO films on BaF2 substrates were also fabricated by the magnetron sputtering method, and the same measurement methods were used.

Abstract

R values measured with the BESII detector at center-of-mass energies between 3.7 and 5.0 GeV are fitted to determine resonance parameters (mass, total width, electron width) of the high mass charmonium states, ψ ( 3770 ) , ψ ( 4040 ) , ψ ( 4160 ) and ψ ( 4415 ) . Various effects, including the interferences and relative phases between the resonances, the energy-dependence of the full widths, and the initial state radiative correction, are examined. The results are compared to previous studies.

Abstract

The decays of J / ψ and ψ ( 2 S ) to n K S 0 Λ ¯ + c.c. are observed and measured for the first time, and the perturbative QCD “12%” rule is tested, based on 5.8 × 10 7 J / ψ and 1.4 × 10 7 ψ ( 2 S ) events collected with BESII detector at the Beijing Electron–Positron Collider. No obvious enhancement near n Λ ¯ threshold in J / ψ → n K S 0 Λ ¯ + c.c. is observed, and the upper limit on the branching ratio of J / ψ → K S 0 X , X → n Λ ¯ is determined.

Abstract

Tranexamic acid derivatives modified by amino acids, i.e., tranexamic acid-His, tranexamic acid-Leu-His, tranexamic acid-Glu-Phe, tranexamic acid-Glu-Lys, tranexamic acid-Ser-Tyrand, tranexamic acid-Ser-Phe, were synthesized by Fmoc solid-phase peptide synthesis, purified by reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography and characterized by 1H and electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry. The interactions of tranexamic acid and derivatives with ctDNA were preliminarily investigated by ultraviolet-visible absorption spectroscopy. The adsorption spectra of ctDNA show a hypochromic effect, indicating that tranexamic acid and derivative scan interact with ctDNA through a mixture mode of groove-binding and electrostatic interaction. The higher affinity of tranexamic acid derivatives for ctDNA compared with free tranexamic acid indicates that the side chains of amino acid residues helped form a special surrounding and spatial structure to interact with ctDNA. The stronger interaction of tranexamic acid derivatives with ctDNA suggested that the modified tranexamic acid probably had significant practical value and should be further studied.

Abstract

With singly-tagged D ¯ samples selected from the data collected at and around 3.773 GeV with the BESII detector at the BEPC collider, we have measured the branching fractions for the inclusive K ± decays of D + and D 0 mesons, which are BF ( D + → K − X ) = ( 24.7 ± 1.3 ± 1.2 ) % , BF ( D + → K + X ) = ( 6.1 ± 0.9 ± 0.4 ) % , BF ( D 0 → K − X ) = ( 57.8 ± 1.6 ± 3.2 ) % and BF ( D 0 → K + X ) = ( 3.5 ± 0.7 ± 0.3 ) % , respectively. We have also measured the branching fractions for the inclusive semileptonic decays of D + and D 0 mesons to be BF ( D + → e + X ) = ( 15.2 ± 0.9 ± 0.8 ) % and BF ( D 0 → e + X ) = ( 6.3 ± 0.7 ± 0.4 ) % . These yield the ratio of their partial widths to be Γ ( D + → e + X ) / Γ ( D 0 → e + X ) = 0.95 ± 0.12 ± 0.07 .

Abstract

By analyzing the data sets of 17.3 pb−1 taken at s = 3.773 GeV and 6.5 pb−1 taken at s = 3.650 GeV with the BESII detector at the BEPC collider, we have measured the observed cross sections for 12 exclusive light hadron final states produced in e + e − annihilation at the two energy points. We have also set the upper limits on the observed cross sections and the branching fractions for ψ ( 3770 ) decay to these final states at 90% C.L.

Abstract

We report measurements of the observed cross sections for e+e-→ωπ+π-, ωK+K-, ωpp, K+K-ρ0π0, K+K-ρ+π-+c.c., K*0K-π+π0+c.c., K*+K-π+π-+c.c., φπ+π-π0 and ΛΛπ0 at \(\sqrt{s}= 3.773\) and 3.650 GeV. Upper limits (90% C.L.) are given for observed cross sections and for ψ(3770) decay branching fractions for production of these final states. These measurements are made by analyzing the data sets of 17.3 pb-1 collected at \(\sqrt{s}=\)3.773 GeV and 6.5 pb-1 collected at \(\sqrt{s}=\)3.650 GeV with the BES-II detector at the BEPC collider.

A wurtzite nitrogen-doped MgZnO (MgZnO:N) film was grown by plasma-assisted molecular-beam epitaxy (PAMBE) on c-plane sapphire using radical NO as oxygen source and nitrogen dopant. The as-grown film shows n-type conduction at room temperature, but transforms into p-type conduction after annealed. Photoluminescence (PL) spectrum measured at 80 K is dominated by neutral donor-bound exciton emission (D0X) located at 3.522 eV for the n-type MgZnO:N film, but by neutral acceptor-bound exciton emission (A0X) located at 3.515 eV for the p-type MgZnO:N film. By fitting exciton emission intensity of temperature-dependent PL spectra, the binding energies of the D0X and A0X were estimated to be 32 and 43 meV, respectively. Based on the energy shift of exciton emission, the band gap of the MgZnO:N film is estimated to be 3.613 eV, which is 179 meV larger than that of ZnO. Using the Haynes rule, the acceptor energy level of the MgZnO:N film was evaluated to be about 176 meV above the valence band.

Abstract

By analyzing the R values measured at 68 energy points in the energy region between 3.650 and 3.872 GeV reported in our previous paper, we have precisely measured the mass, the total width and the leptonic width of the ψ ( 3770 ) resonance to be M ψ ( 3770 ) = 3772.4 ± 0.4 ± 0.3 MeV , Γ ψ ( 3770 ) tot = 28.5 ± 1.2 ± 0.2 MeV and Γ ψ ( 3770 ) e e = 277 ± 11 ± 13 eV , respectively. We have measured the leptonic branching fraction of the ψ ( 3770 ) decays and the ψ ( 3770 ) production cross section at its peak to be B [ ψ ( 3770 ) → e + e − ] = ( 0.97 ± 0.03 ± 0.05 ) × 10 −5 and σ prd [ e + e − → ψ ( 3770 ) ] = 10.0 ± 0.3 ± 0.5 nb , respectively. The latter one results in the corresponding observed cross section of σ obs [ e + e − → ψ ( 3770 ) ] = 7.2 ± 0.2 ± 0.4 nb . We have also measured R uds = 2.121 ± 0.023 ± 0.084 for the continuum light hadron production in the region from 3.650 to 3.872 GeV.

Using the data sets of 17.3 pb −1 collected at s = 3.773 GeV and 6.5 pb −1 collected at s = 3.650 GeV with the BESII detector at the BEPC collider, we have measured the observed cross sections for 18 exclusive light hadron final states produced in e + e − annihilation at the two energy points.

Abstract

With a sample of 14 × 10 6 ψ ( 2 S ) events collected by the BESII detector at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider (BEPC), the decay channels ψ ( 2 S ) → B 8 B ¯ 8 ( p p ¯ , Λ Λ ¯ , Σ 0 Σ ¯ 0 , Ξ − Ξ ¯ + ) are measured, and their branching ratios are determined to be ( 3.36 ± 0.09 ± 0.25 ) × 10 −4 , ( 3.39 ± 0.20 ± 0.32 ) × 10 −4 , ( 2.35 ± 0.36 ± 0.32 ) × 10 −4 , ( 3.03 ± 0.40 ± 0.32 ) × 10 −4 , respectively. In the decay ψ ( 2 S ) → p p ¯ , the angular distribution parameter α is determined to be 0.85 ± 0.24 ± 0.04 .

Abstract

In this study, metal–semiconductor–metal (MSM) photoconductive detector was fabricated on c -axis preferred oriented ZnO film prepared on quartz by radio frequency magnetron sputtering. With the applied bias below 3 V, the dark current was below 250 nA. The typical responsivity peaked at around 360 nm, and had values of 30 A/W. In addition, the UV (360 nm) to visible (450 nm) rejection ratio of around five orders could be extracted from the spectra response. Furthermore, the transient response measurement revealed fast photoresponse with a rise time of 20 ns.

Abstract

Results are presented on J / ψ radiative decays to π + π − and π 0 π 0 based on a sample of 58M J / ψ events taken with the BES II detector. Partial wave analyses are carried out using the relativistic covariant tensor amplitude method in the 1.0 to 2.3 GeV / c 2 π π mass range. There are conspicuous peaks due to the f 2 ( 1270 ) and two 0 + + states in the 1.45 and 1.75 GeV / c 2 mass regions. The first 0 + + state has a mass of 1466 ± 6 ± 20 MeV / c 2 , a width of 108 −11 +14 ± 25 MeV / c 2 , and a branching fraction B ( J / ψ → γ f 0 ( 1500 ) → γ π + π − ) = ( 0.67 ± 0.02 ± 0.30 ) × 10 −4 . Spin 0 is strongly preferred over spin 2. The second 0 + + state peaks at 1765 −3 +4 ± 13 MeV / c 2 with a width of 145 ± 8 ± 69 MeV / c 2 . If this 0 + + is interpreted as coming from f 0 ( 1710 ) , the ratio of its branching fractions to ππ and K K ¯ is 0.41 −0.17 +0.11 .

Abstract

Using 14M psi(2S) events taken with the BESII detector, chi(cJ) -> 2(K+K-) decays are studied. For the four-kaon final state, the branching fractions are B(chi(c0,1,2) ->.2(K+K-)) = (3.48 +/- 0.23 +/- 0.47) x 10(-3), (0.70 +/- 0.13 +/- 0.10) x 10(-3), and (2.17 +/- 0.20 +/- 0.31) x 10(-3). For the phi K+K- final state, the branching fractions, which are measured for the first time, are B(chi(c0,1,2) -> phi K+K-) = (1.03 +/- 0.22 +/- 0.15) x 10(-3), (0.46 +/- 0.16 +/- 0.06) x 10(-3), and (1.67 +/- 0.26 +/- 0.24) x 10(-4). For the phi phi final state, B(chi(c0,2) -> phi phi) = (0.94 +/- 0.21 +/- 0.13) x 10(-3) and (1.70 +/- 0.30 +/- 0.25) x 10(-3).

Abstract

Using the BES-II detector at the BEPC Collider, we measured the lowest order cross sections and the R values (R = sigma(0)(e+e--> hadrons)/sigma(0)(e+e-->mu+mu-)) for inclusive hadronic event production at the centre-of-mass energies of 3.650, 3.6648 and 3.773 GeV. The results lead to R-uds = 2.218 +/- 0.019 +/- 0.089 which is the average of these measured at 3.650 GeV and 3.6648 GeV, and R = 3.746 +/- 0.037 +/- 0.187 at root s = 3.773 GeV. We determined the lowest order cross section for psi (3770) production to be sigma(B)(psi)((3770)) = (9.323 +/- 0.253 +/- 0.801) nb at 3.773 GeV, the branching fractions for psi (3770) decays to be BF(psi (3770) -> D-0(D) over bar (0)) = (49.5 +/- 1.3 +/- 3.8)%, BF(psi (3770) -> D+D-) = (35.7 +/- 1.1 +/- 3.4)% and BF(psi (3770) -> D (D) over bar) = (85.5 +/- 1.7 +/- 5.8)%, which result in the total non-D (D) over bar branching fraction of psi(3770) decay to be BF(psi (3770) -> non-D (D) over bar) = (14.5 +/- 1.7 +/- 5.8)%.
