Geometric graph model is suggested for the dynamical Casimir effect. The wave equation is considered at the graph edges and the Kirchhoff condition at the internal vertex. It is assumed that the edge lengths depend on time. Photon generation is considered in the framework of the Dodonov–Klimov model.

Quantum graphs with varying edges lengths are constructed. We deal with two types of operators on the graph edges: the Schrodinger and the Dirac operators. The dynamics of quantum particles for these two cases is compared. From the physical point of view, the Schrodinger dynamics corresponds to nonrelativistic particle and the Dirac dynamics to the relativistic one.

Geometric graph composed from a ring and a segment is considered. We deal with the Schrodinger (quantum) and the wave (classical) operators at the edges and the Kirchhoff conditions at the internal vertex. The lengths of the graph edges varies in time. Time evolution of a wave packet is studied in classical and quantum cases.

We consider a metric graph under the assumption that lengths of its edges vary in time. The dynamics of waves of different nature on the graph is compared. The authors evaluated life quality of doctors and paramedics in emergency rescue service. Finding is lower life quality of this occupational category in comparison with inpatient medical personnel. The most unfavorable parameters were seen among nurses, females and individuals aged 41-50.

Parallelism of membrane computing can be used for efficient solving NP-complete computational problems. A problem of such type known as questionnaire problem is considered. One should choose the sequence of yes-no questions which allows to reveal the system configuration. Algorithm based on membrane computing is suggested.
