Abstract: We report on a search for the lepton flavor violating τ−→μ−γ and τ−→e−γ decays based on 535 fb−1 of data accumulated at the Belle experiment. No signal is found and we set 90% confidence level upper limits on the branching ratios B(τ−→μ−γ)

Abstract: KS 0 KS 0 production in two-photon collisions has been studied using a 397.6 fb-1 data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+ e- collider. For the first time the cross sections are measured in the two-photon center-of-mass energy range between 2.4 GeV and 4.0 GeV and angular range | cos θ* | < 0.6. Combining the results with measurements of γ γ → K+ K- from Belle, we observe that the cross section ratio σ (KS 0 KS 0) / σ (K+ K-) decreases from ∼0.13 to ∼0.01 with increasing energy. Signals for the χc 0 and χc 2 charmonium states are also observed. © 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Abstract: We have searched for lepton-flavor-violating $\tau$ decays with a pseudoscalar meson ($\eta$, $\eta'$ {and} $\pi^0$) using a data sample of 401 fb$^{-1}$ collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider. No evidence for these decays is found and we set the following upper limits on the branching fractions: ${\cal{B}}(\tau^-\to e^-\eta) < 9.2\times 10^{-8}$, ${\cal{B}}(\tau^-\to \mu^-\eta) < 6.5\times 10^{-8}$, ${\cal{B}}(\tau^-\to e^-\eta') < 1.6\times 10^{-7}$, ${\cal{B}}(\tau^-\to \mu^-\eta') < 1.3\times 10^{-7}$, ${\cal{B}}(\tau^-\to e^-\pi^0) < 8.0\times 10^{-8}$ and ${\cal{B}}(\tau^-\to \mu^-\pi^0) < 1.2\times 10^{-7}$ at the 90% confidence level. These results improve our previously published upper limits by factors from 2.3 to 6.3.

Abstract: We present the first observation of τ lepton decays to hadronic final states with a ϕ -meson. This analysis is based on 401 fb −1 of data accumulated at the Belle experiment. The branching fraction obtained is B ( τ − → ϕ K − ν τ ) = ( 4.05 ± 0.25 ± 0.26 ) × 10 −5 .

Abstract: We have searched for the lepton flavor violating decays τ- → l- KS 0 (l = e or μ), using a data sample of 281 fb-1 collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+ e- asymmetric-energy collider. No evidence for a signal was found in either of the decay modes, and we set the following upper limits for the branching fractions: B (τ- → e- KS 0) < 5.6 × 10-8 and B (τ- → μ- KS 0) < 4.9 × 10-8 at the 90% confidence level. These results improve the previously published limits set by the CLEO Collaboration by factors of 16 and 19, respectively. © 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Abstract: The Collins effect connects transverse quark spin with a measurable azimuthal dependence in the yield of hadronic fragments around the quark's momentum vector. Using two different reconstruction methods, we find evidence of statistically significant azimuthal asymmetries for charged pion pairs in e(+)e(-) annihilation at a center-of-mass energy of 10.52 GeV, which can be attributed to a transverse polarization of the primordial quarks. The measurement was performed using a sample of 79 x 10(6) hadronic events collected with the Belle detector.

Abstract: To estimate the parameters of New Physics in the future experiments, the experimental data should be compared to the cross-sections calculated in terms of some model. The values of the model parameters can then be extracted from the signal/background ratio (statistical significance, SS). It is shown that applying certain phase space cuts can sometimes improve the results. The ways of seeking for the ”natural” cuts in the process/model are discussed. Results for eγ→Wν→μνν are presented.

Abstract: The neutral B meson pair produced at the Upsilon(4S) should exhibit a nonlocal correlation of the type discussed by Einstein, Podolsky, and Rosen. We measure this correlation using the time-dependent flavor asymmetry of semileptonic B(0) decays, which we compare with predictions from quantum mechanics and two local realistic models. The data are consistent with quantum mechanics, and inconsistent with the other models. Assuming that some B pairs disentangle to produce B(0) and B(0) with definite flavor, we find a decoherent fraction of 0.029 +/ -0.057, consistent with no decoherence.

Abstract: We report measurements of branching fractions for B -> K pi and B ->pi pi decays based on a data sample of 449x10(6) B (B) over bar pairs collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. We also measure the ratios of partial widths for B -> K pi decays, namely R-c equivalent to 2 Gamma(B+-> K+pi(0))/Gamma(B+-> K-0 pi(+))=1.08 +/- 0.06 +/- 0.08 and R-n equivalent to Gamma(B-0 -> K+pi(-))/2 Gamma(B-0 -> K-0 pi(0))=1.08 +/- 0.08 +/- 0.08, where the first and the second errors are statistical and systematic, respectively. These ratios are sensitive to enhanced electroweak penguin contributions from new physics; the new measurements are, however, consistent with standard model expectations.

Abstract: We report the first observation of the decay B0→Ds+Λ p with a statistical significance of 6.6σ. We measure B(B0→Ds+Λp)=(2.9±0.7±0.5±0.4) ×10-5, where the first error is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third error comes from the uncertainty in B(Ds+→π+). The data used for this analysis was accumulated at the Υ(4S) resonance, using the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. The integrated luminosity of the data sample is 414fb-1, corresponding to 449×106 BB pairs. © 2007 The American Physical Society.

Abstract: We report the results of a study of neutral B meson decays to the D^0 pi+ pi- final state, where the D^0 is fully reconstructed. The results are obtained from an event sample containing 388 million BB-bar -meson pairs collected in the Belle experiment at the KEKB e^+e^- collider. The total branching fraction of the three-body decay B(bar{B}^0 -> D^0 pi^+ pi^-) =(8.4+-0.4(stat.)+-0.8(syst.)) 10^{-4} has been measured. The intermediate resonant structure of these three-body decays has been studied. From a Dalitz plot analysis we have obtained the product of the branching fractions for D^{*+}_2 and D^{*+}_0 production: B(bar{B}^0-> D^{*+}_2 pi^-) B(D_2^{*+}-> D^{0}\pi^+)= (2.15+-0.17(stat.)+-0.29(syst.)+-0.12(mod.))10^{-4}, and B(bar{B}^0-> D^{*+}_0 pi^-) B(D_0^{*+}-> D^{0} pi^+)= (0.60+-0.13(stat.)}+-0.15(syst.)+-0.22(mod.))10^{-4}. This is the first observation of the bar{B}^0-> D^{*+}_0 pi^- decay. Abstract: Several exclusive Bs0 decays are studied using a 1.86fb-1 data sample collected at the Υ(5S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy e+e- collider. In the Bs0→Ds-π+ decay mode we find 10 Bs0 candidates and measure the corresponding branching fraction. Combining the Bs0→Ds(*)-π+, Bs0→Ds(*)-ρ+, Bs0→J/ψ, and Bs0→J/ψη decay modes, a significant Bs0 signal is observed. The ratio σ(e+e-→Bs*Bs*)/σ(e+e-→Bs(*) Bs(*))=(93-9+7±1)% is obtained at the Υ(5S) energy, indicating that Bs0 meson production proceeds predominantly through the creation of Bs*Bs* pairs. The Bs0 and Bs* meson masses are measured to be M(Bs0)=(5370±1±3)MeV/c2 and M(Bs*)= (5418±1±3)MeV/c2. Upper limits on the Bs0→γγ, Bs0→ γ, Bs0→K+K-, and Bs0→Ds(*)+Ds(*)- branching fractions are also reported. © 2007 The American Physical Society.

Abstract: We present a measurement of the CP-violating asymmetry in B0→ρ+ρ- decays using 535×106 BB pairs collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- collider. We measure CP-violating coefficients A=0.16±0.21(stat)±0.08(syst) and S=0.19±0. 30(stat)±0.08(syst). These values are used to determine the unitarity triangle angle 2 using an isospin analysis; the solution consistent with the standard model lies in the range 54°< 2

Abstract: We report the results of several studies of the {lambda}{sub c}{sup +}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup -}X final state in continuum e{sup +}e{sup -} annihilation data collected by the Belle detector. An analysis of angular distributions in {lambda}{sub c}(2880){sup +}{yields}{sigma}{sub c}(2455){sup 0,++}{pi}{sup +,-} decays strongly favors a {lambda}{sub c}(2880){sup +} spin assignment of (5/2) over (3/2) or (1/2). We find evidence for {lambda}{sub c}(2880){sup +}{yields}{sigma}{sub c}(2520){sup 0,++}{pi}{sup +,-} decay and measure the ratio of {lambda}{sub c}(2880){sup +} partial widths {gamma}({sigma}{sub c}(2520){pi})/{gamma}({sigma}{sub c}(2455){pi})=0.225{+-}0.062{+-}0.= 025. This value favors the {lambda}{sub c}(2880){sup +} spin-parity assignment of (5/2){sup +} over (5/2){sup -}. We also report the first observation of {lambda}{sub c}(2940){sup +}{yields}{sigma}{sub c}(2455){sup 0,++}{pi}{sup +,-} decay and measure {lambda}{sub c}(2880){sup +} and {lambda}{sub c}(2940){sup +} mass and width parameters. These studies are based on a 553 fb{sup -1} data sample collected at or near the {upsilon}(4S) resonance at the KEKB collider.

Abstract: We present a measurement of $CP$ asymmetry using a time-dependent Dalitz plot analysis of ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$ decays based on a $414\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ data sample containing $449\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}B\overline{B}$ pairs. The data was collected on the $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider. Combining our analysis with information on charged $B$ decay modes, we perform a full Dalitz and isospin analysis and obtain a constraint on the CKM angle ${\ensuremath{\phi}}_{2}$, $68\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}l{\ensuremath{\phi}}_{2}l95\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}$ as the 68.3% confidence interval for the ${\ensuremath{\phi}}_{2}$ solution consistent with the standard model (SM). A large SM-disfavored region also remains.

Abstract: We report measurements of the branching fraction and CP violation parameters in B(0)-->D+ D- decays. The results are based on a data sample that contains 535 x 10(6) BB pairs collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance, with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. We obtain [1.97+/-0.20(stat) +/- 0.20(syst)] x 10(-4) for the branching fraction of B0-->D+D-. The measured values of the CP violation parameters are S=-1.13+/-0.37+/-0.09, A=0.91+/-0.23+/-0.06, where the first error is statistical and the second is systematic. We find evidence of CP violation in B0-->D+D- at the 4.1sigma confidence level. While the value of S is consistent with expectations from other measurements, the value of the parameter A favors large direct CP violation at the 3.2sigma confidence level, in contradiction to standard model expectations.

Abstract: We report measurements of branching fractions and CP asymmetries for B{yields}{eta}K* and B{yields}{eta}{rho} decays. These results are obtained from a 414 fb{sup -1} data sample collected at the {upsilon}(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e{sup +}e{sup -} collider. We measure the following branching fractions: B(B{sup 0}{yields}{eta}K*{sup 0})=(15.2{+-}1.2{+-}1.0)x10{sup -6} and B(B{sup +}{yields}{eta}K*{sup +})=(19.3{sub -1.9}{sup +2.0}{+-}1.5)x10{sup -6}, where the first error is statistical and the second systematic. We also find a 2.7{sigma} excess in the B{sup +}{yields}{eta}{rho}{sup +} mode and measure B(B{sup +}{yields}{eta}{rho}{sup +})=(4.1{sub -1.3}{sup +1.4}{+-}0.4)x10{sup -6}

Abstract: We report a new measurement of the time-dependent CP-violating parameters in B0→π+π- decays with 535×106 BB pairs collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider operating at the Υ(4S) resonance. We find 1464±65 B0→π+π- events and measure the CP-violating parameters Sππ=-0.61±0.10(stat)±0. 04(syst) and Aππ=+0.55±0.08(stat)±0.05(syst). We observe large direct CP violation with a significance greater than 5 standard deviations for any Sππ value. Using isospin relations, we measure the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa quark-mixing matrix angle 2=(97±11)° for the solution consistent with the standard model and exclude the range 11°< 2

Abstract: Using 449 million BBbar pairs collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e^+e^- collider, we observe clear signals for B^+-> \bar{K}^0 K^+ and B^0-> \bar{K}^0 K^0 decays with 5.3 sigma and 6.0 sigma significance, respectively. We measure the branching fractions Br(B^+-> \bar{K}^0 K^+ = (1.22^{+0.32+0.13}_{-0.28-0.16})x10^{-6} and Br(B^0-> \bar{K}^0 K^0) = (0.87^{+0.25}_{-0.20} +- 0.09)x10^{-6}, and partial-rate asymmetries A_{CP}(B^+-> \bar{K}^0 K^+) = 0.13^{+0.23}_{-0.24}+- 0.02 and A_{CP}(B^0-> \bar{K}^0 K^0) = -0.58^{+0.73}_{-0.66}+- 0.04. From a simultaneous fit we also obtain Br(B^+-> K^0��^+)= (22.8^{+0.8}_{-0.7} +- 1.3)x 10^{-6} and A_{CP}(B^+-> K^0 ��^+) = 0.03 +- 0.03 +- 0.01. The first and second error in the branching fractions and the partial-rate asymmetries are statistical and systematic, respectively. No signal is observed for B^0-> K^+ K^- decays, and for this branching fraction we set an upper limit of 4.1x10^{-7} at the 90% confidence level., 6 pages, 3 figures

Abstract: We report improved measurements of B decays with an {eta} meson in the final state using 492 fb{sup -1} of data collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB e{sup +}e{sup -} collider. We observe the decays B{sup {+-}}{yields}{eta}{pi}{sup {+-}} and B{sup {+-}}{yields}{eta}K{sup {+-}} and measure the branching fractions B(B{sup {+-}}{yields}{eta}{pi}{sup {+-}})=(4.2{+-}0.4(stat){+-}0.2(sys))x10{sup -6} and B(B{sup {+-}}{yields}{eta}K{sup {+-}})=(1.9{+-}0.3(stat){sub -0.1}{sup +0.2}(sys))x10{sup -6}. The corresponding CP-violating asymmetries are measured to be -0.23{+-}0.09(stat){+-}0.02(sys) for {eta}{pi}{sup {+-}} and -0.39{+-}0.16(stat){+-}0.03(sys) for {eta}K{sup {+-}}. We also search for B{sup 0}{yields}{eta}K{sup 0} decays and set an upper limit of 1.9x10{sup -6} at the 90% confidence level.

Abstract: We study transitions between {upsilon} states with the emission of charged pions using 477 fb{sup -1} of data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e{sup +}e{sup -} collider. The measured product branching fraction B({upsilon}(4S){yields}{upsilon}(1S){pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup -})xB({upsilon}(1S){yields}{mu}{sup +}{mu}{sup -})= =(4.42{+-}0.81(stat){+-}0.56(sys))x10{sup -6}. When the PDG value for B({upsilon}(1S){yields}{mu}{sup +}{mu}{sup -}) is used, this corresponds to B({upsilon}(4S){yields}{upsilon}(1S){pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup -})=(1.78{+-}0.33(stat){+-}0.23(sys) = )x10{sup -4} and a partial decay width {gamma}({upsilon}(4S){yields}{upsilon}(1S){pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup -})=(3.65{+-}0.67(stat){+-}0.6 = 5(sys)) keV.

Abstract: We report the first observation of B(0)-->J/psieta decay. These results are obtained from a data sample that contains 449 x10(6) BB[over] pairs accumulated at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. We observe a signal with a significance of 8.1 sigma and obtain a branching fraction of (9.5+/-1.7(stat)+/-0.8(syst)) x 10(-6).

Abstract: The neutral B meson pair produced at the Upsilon(4S) should exhibit a nonlocal correlation of the type discussed by Einstein, Podolsky, and Rosen. We measure this correlation using the time-dependent flavor asymmetry of semileptonic B(0) decays, which we compare with predictions from quantum mechanics and two local realistic models. The data are consistent with quantum mechanics, and inconsistent with the other models. Assuming that some B pairs disentangle to produce B(0) and B(0) with definite flavor, we find a decoherent fraction of 0.029 +/ -0.057, consistent with no decoherence.

Abstract: We report a measurement of the exclusive e{sup +}e{sup -}{yields}D{sup (*){+-}}D*{sup {+-}} cross section as a function of center-of-mass energy near the D{sup (*)}{+-}D*{sup {+-}} threshold with initial-state radiation. A partial reconstruction technique is used to increase the efficiency and to suppress background. Abstract: We present a measurement of the hadronic invariant mass squared (MX2) spectrum in charmed semileptonic B meson decays B→Xc ν based on 140fb-1 of Belle data collected near the Υ(4S) resonance. We determine the first, the second central, and the second noncentral moments of this spectrum for lepton energy thresholds ranging between 0.7 and 1.9 GeV. Full correlations between these measurements are evaluated. © 2007 The American Physical Society.

Abstract: We report a measurement of the inclusive electron energy spectrum for charmed semileptonic decays of B mesons in a 140fb-1 data sample collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy e+e- collider. We determine the first four moments of the electron energy spectrum for threshold values of the electron energy between 0.4 and 2.0 GeV. In addition, we provide values of the partial branching fraction (zeroth moment) for the same electron threshold energies, and independent measurements of the B+ and B0 partial branching fractions at 0.4 GeV and 0.6 GeV electron threshold energies. We measure the independent B+ and B0 partial branching fractions with electron threshold energies of 0.4 GeV to be ΔB(B+→Xceν)=(10. 79±0.25(stat.)±0.27(sys.))% and ΔB(B0→Xceν)=(10. 08±0.30(stat.)±0.22(sys.))%. Abstract: The inclusive production of Ds, D0, and J/ψ mesons is studied using a 1.86fb-1 data sample collected on the Υ(5S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. The number of bb events in this Υ(5S) data sample is determined. We measure the branching fractions B(Υ(5S)→DsX)/2=(23.6±1.2±3.6)%, B(Υ(5S)→D0X)/2=(53.8±2.0±3.4)%, and B(Υ(5S)→J/ ψX)/2=(1.030±0.080±0.067)%. From the Ds and D0 inclusive branching fractions the ratio fs=(18.0±1.3±3.2)% of Bs(*)Bs(*) to the total bb quark pair production at the Υ(5S) energy is obtained in a model-dependent way. © 2007 The American Physical Society.

Abstract: We present improved measurements of $CP$-violation parameters in ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\phi}{K}^{0}$, ${\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}{K}^{0}$, ${K}_{S}^{0}{K}_{S}^{0}{K}_{S}^{0}$ decays based on a sample of $535\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$ $B\overline{B}$ pairs collected at the $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB energy-asymmetric ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider. We obtain $\mathrm{sin} 2{\ensuremath{\phi}}_{1}^{\mathrm{eff}}=+0.64\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.10(\mathrm{stat})\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.04(\mathrm{syst})$ for ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}{K}^{0}$, $+0.50\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.21(\mathrm{stat})\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.06(\mathrm{syst})$ for ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\phi}{K}^{0}$, and $+0.30\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.32(\mathrm{stat})\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.08(\mathrm{syst})$ for ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}_{S}^{0}{K}_{S}^{0}{K}_{S}^{0}$ decays. We have observed $CP$ violation in the ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}{K}^{0}$ decay with a significance of 5.6 standard deviations. We also perform an improved measurement of $CP$ asymmetries in ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}J/\ensuremath{\psi}{K}^{0}$ decays and obtain $\mathrm{sin} 2{\ensuremath{\phi}}_{1}=+0.642\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.031(\mathrm{stat})\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.017(\mathrm{syst})$.

Abstract: We report results of a Dalitz plot analysis of the three-body charmless ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{0}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ decay. The analysis is performed with a data sample that contains $388\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$ $B\overline{B}$ pairs collected near the $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider. Measurements of branching fractions for the quasi-two-body decays ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\rho}(770{)}^{0}{K}^{0}$, ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{f}_{0}(980){K}^{0}$, ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{*}(892{)}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$, ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{*}(1430{)}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$, and upper limits on several other quasi-two-body decay modes are reported.

Abstract: We report the results of several studies of the Lambda(c)(+)pi(+)pi(-)X final state in continuum e(+)e(-) annihilation data collected by the Belle detector. An analysis of angular distributions in Lambda(c)(2880)(+)--Sigma(c)(2455)(0,++)pi(+,-) decays strongly favors a Lambda(c)(2880)(+) spin assignment of 5/2 over 3/2 or 1/2. We find evidence for Lambda(c)(2880)(+)--Sigma(c)(2520)(0,++)pi(+,-) decay and measure the ratio of Lambda(c)(2880)(+) partial widths Gamma(Sigma(c)(2520)pi)/Gamma(Sigma(c)(2455)pi)=0.225+/-0.062+/-0.025. This value favors the Lambda(c)(2880)(+) spin-parity assignment of 5/2(+) over 5/2(-). We also report the first observation of Lambda(c)(2940)(+)--Sigma(c)(2455)(0,++)pi(+,-) decay and measure Lambda(c)(2880)(+) and Lambda(c)(2940)(+) mass and width parameters. These studies are based on a 553 fb(-1) data sample collected at or near the Upsilon(4S) resonance at the KEKB collider.

Abstract: We report a measurement of the exclusive e+e- --D(*)+/-D*-/+ cross section as a function of center-of-mass energy near the D(*)+/-D*-/+ threshold with initial-state radiation. A partial reconstruction technique is used to increase the efficiency and to suppress background. The analysis is based on a data sample collected with the Belle detector with an integrated luminosity of 547.8 fb(-1).

Abstract: We present a measurement of CP asymmetry using a time-dependent Dalitz plot analysis of B0--pi+pi-pi0 decays based on a 414 fb(-1) data sample containing 449 x 10(6) BB pairs. The data was collected on the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy e+ e- collider. Combining our analysis with information on charged B decay modes, we perform a full Dalitz and isospin analysis and obtain a constraint on the CKM angle phi2, 68 degreesphi295 degrees as the 68.3% confidence interval for the phi2 solution consistent with the standard model (SM). A large SM-disfavored region also remains.

Abstract: We study the three-body charmed baryonic decays B0→Σ c++pπ- and B0→Σc0pπ+ in the four-body final state B0→Λc+pπ+π-, using a data sample of 357fb-1 accumulated at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. We measure the branching fractions B(B0→Σc(2455)++pπ-)=(2.1±0.2±0. 3±0.5)×10-4, B(B0→Σc(2455)0pπ+)=(1. 4±0.2±0.2±0.4)×10-4 and B(B0→Σ c(2520)++pπ-)=(1.2±0.1±0.2±0.3)×10-4 with signal significances of 13.1σ, 9.4σ and 7.1σ, respectively. The errors are statistical, systematic, and due to the uncertainty in B(Λc+→pK-π+), respectively. We also set an upper limit B(B0→Σc(2520)0pπ+)

Abstract: We report the first observation of the decay B+ -> \bar{\Xi}_c^0 \Lambda_c^+ with a significance of 8.7 \sigma and evidence for the decay B^0 -> \bar{\Xi}_c^-\Lambda_c^+ with a significance of 3.8 \sigma. The product Br(B^+ -> \bar{\Xi}_c^0\Lambda_c^+)\times Br(\bar{\Xi}_c^0 -> \bar{\Xi}^+\pi^-) is measured to be (4.8^{+1.0}_{-0.9}\pm 1.1\pm 1.2)\times 10^{-5}, and Br({B^0} -> \bar{\Xi}_c^-\Lambda_c^+)\times Br(\bar{\Xi}_c^- -> \bar{\Xi}^+\pi^-\pi^-) is measured to be (9.3^{+3.7}_{-2.8}\pm 1.9\pm 2.4)\times 10^{-5}. The errors are statistical, systematic and the error of the \Lambda_c^+ -> pK^-\pi^+ branching fraction, respectively. The decay B^+ -> \bar{\Xi}_c^0\Lambda_c^+ is the first example of a two-body exclusive B^+ decay into two charmed baryons. The data used for this analysis was accumulated at the \Upsilon(4S) resonance, using the Belle detector at the e^+ e^- asymmetric-energy collider KEKB. The integrated luminosity of the data sample is equal to 357 {fb}^{-1}, corresponding to 386\times 10^{6} B{\bar B} pairs.

Abstract: We report measurements of CP violation parameters in B{sup 0}{yields}K{sub S}{sup 0}{pi}{sup 0}{gamma} transitions based on a data sample of 535x10{sup 6}BB pairs collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e{sup +}e{sup -} collider. One neutral B meson is fully reconstructed in the B{sup 0}{yields}K{sub S}{sup 0}{pi}{sup 0}{gamma} mode. The flavor of the accompanying B meson is identified from its decay products. We obtain time-dependent and direct CP violation parameters S and A for a K{sub S}{sup 0}{pi}{sup 0} invariant mass up to 1.8 GeV/c{sup 2} as S{sub K{sub S}{sup 0}}{sub {pi}{sup 0}}{sub {gamma}}=-0.10{+-}0.31{+-} 0.07 and A{sub K{sub S}{sup 0}}{sub {pi}{sup 0}}{sub {gamma}}=-0.20{+-}0.20{+-}0.06. For a K{sub S}{sup 0}{pi}{sup 0} invariant mass near the K*{sup 0}(892) resonance, we obtain S{sub K*{sup 0}}{sub {gamma}}=-0.32{sub -0.33}{sup +0.36}{+-}0.05 and A{sub K*{sup 0}}{sub {gamma}}=-0.20{+-}0.24{+-}0.05.

Abstract: We present the first evidence of the decay B-→τ-ντ, using 414fb-1 of data collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. Events are tagged by fully reconstructing one of the B mesons in hadronic modes. We detect the signal with a significance of 3.5 standard deviations including systematics and measure the branching fraction to be B(B-→τ-ντ)=(1.79-0.49+0.56(stat) -0.51+0.46(syst))×10-4. This implies that fB=0.229-0.031+0.036(stat)-0. 037+0.034(syst)GeV and is the first direct measurement of this quantity. © 2006 The American Physical Society.

Abstract: We report results of a search for the invisible decay of the Upsilon(1S) via the Upsilon(3S)--pi+ pi- Upsilon(1S) transition using a data sample of 2.9 fb-1 at the Upsilon(3S) resonance. The data were collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+ e- collider. No signal is found, and an upper limit for the branching fraction at the 90% confidence level is determined to be B(Upsilon(1S)--invisible)2.5 x 10(-3).

Abstract: We present improved measurements of the branching fractions of the color-suppressed decays B{sup 0}{yields}D{sup (*)0}h{sup 0}, where h{sup 0} represents a light neutral meson {pi}{sup 0}, {eta} or {omega}. The measurements are based on a data sample of 140 fb{sup -1} collected at the {upsilon}(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB energy-asymmetric e{sup +}e{sup -} collider, corresponding to 7 times the luminosity of the previous Belle measurements. All the measured branching fractions fall in the range 1.4-2.4x10{sup -4}, which is significantly higher than theoretical predictions based on naive factorization.
