CO2-driven limnic eruptions are lethal phenomena that occur in lakes with aqueous CO2 solutions that become supersaturated. The exsolution of massive CO2 dissolved in the water can happen in a very short time, possibly leading to a natural disaster as happened in the Lake Nyos (Cameroon, Africa) in 1986. More than 1700 people died. In recent years, with the utilization of the technology of CO2 sequestration in brines in geological reservoirs, there are possibilities of the CO2-brine leakage. The brine may stay in the near surface water leading to the potential of an eruption. In this experimental study, measurements have been carried out to investigate the degassing processes of CO2 solutions under different depressurizing conditions. Based on the experimental data and using the ImagePro Plus® to process the recorded images, two correlations have been obtained: (1) the relationship between the supersaturation (${\Delta }P$) required for degassing and the initial pressure; (2) the relationship between the time delay (${\Delta }t$) corresponding to bubble formation and the initial pressure. Variations of key quantities (void fraction, number of bubbles, and average diameter of bubbles) over time have been analyzed. In addition, the void fractions measured in two different depressurizing ways have been compared. The experimental data and correlations obtained in this study are useful in establishing transient fluid dynamic models for simulating CO2-driven eruptions.

Ripretinib, a broad‐spectrum inhibitor of the KIT and PDGFRA receptor tyrosine kinases, is designated as a fourth‐line treatment for gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST). It is tailored for patients resistant to imatinib, sunitinib, and regorafenib. As its increasing use, instances of resistance to ripretinib are becoming more frequent. Unfortunately, there are currently no scientifically mature treatment options available for patients resistant to ripretinib. Posttranslational modifications (PTMs) such as ubiquitination, in conjunction with its interplay with other modifications, play a collective role in regulating tumor initiation and progression. However, the specific association between ubiquitination and ripretinib resistance is not reported. Through proteome–ubiquitinome sequencing, increased levels of the USP5 protein and decreased ubiquitination in ripretinib‐resistant GISTs are detected. Subsequent examination of the mass spectrometry findings validated the interaction through which TRIM21 governs USP5 expression via ubiquitination, and USP5 regulates MDH2 expression through deubiquitination, consequently fostering ripretinib resistance in GIST. Moreover, ZDHHC18 can palmitoylate MDH2, preventing its ubiquitination and further increasing its protein stability. The research underscores the correlation between posttranslational modifications, specifically ubiquitination, and drug resistance, emphasizing the potential of targeting the USP5‐MDH2 axis to counteract ripretinib resistance in GIST. To maintain a reasonable sediment regulation system in the Loess Plateau, it is critical to determine the effects of check dam construction on sediment production and topographic changes. An indoor simulation experiment was conducted to investigate sediment production at the outlet section of the gully and micro‐topographic changes within the channel before and after dam construction. The results showed that check dam significantly affected the run‐off and sediment transport processes in the watershed. Specifically, the cross‐sectional morphology index (η) and the width‐depth ratio increased by 10.23% and 40.44%, respectively, while sediment content and particle size decreased by 39.29% and 18.58%, respectively. Additionally, the relative importance of section parameters and micro‐topographic parameters that affect sediment production rate and particle size was ranked using the random forest algorithm. The roughness after check dam construction was identified as a relatively important topographic factor affecting sediment production and particle selection by erosion. A logistics network structure plays a significant role in enhancing comprehensive logistics services and achieving high-quality development. However, few studies have summarised the application research on China's logistics network structure. Thus, this study conducted a literature review to summarise such research. Data from 2009 to 2021 were collected from 60 papers from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and 13 from Scopus. This study analyzed the literature using descriptive analysis and research states based on the research questions. The descriptive analysis revealed information such as documents, trends, subject areas, and keywords for Chinese and foreign papers using VOSviewer and Gephi software. The research flow revealed the research object, method, and results using ArcGIS visualisation, research features, and perspectives.
