Background: About one in five adults in the United States experience any mental illness (AMI), whereas 14.2 million experience serious mental illness (SMI). The perception of stigma among individuals experiencing mental illness is associated with care seeking behavior and treatment adherence. Purpose: Two factors that mitigate stigma are familiarity with someone experiencing AMI/SMI and general level of education. Heretofore, these factors have not been tested together to determine if familiarity moderates the relation between level of education and stigma of professional efficacy for treating mental illness. Methods: In fall 2020, an online survey in the state of Utah measured 1,300 adults' perceptions of stigma for AMI/SMI using a validated instrument. Data were analyzed using logistic regression. Results: Results indicate that familiarity (i.e. self or immediate family member versus other person) moderated level of education for stigma of professional efficacy for treatment of AMI but not SMI. Discussion: Participants viewed the professional efficacy of treating AMI and SMI differently. These findings have implications for educational interventions designed to mitigate public stigma for professional efficacy of treating mental illness. Translation to Health Education Practice: Emphasizes the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing Inc. assessment of needs and capacity, and evaluation and research competencies. Biobanks are curated collections of biological samples that are preserved at the molecular level, usually frozen, along with associated data, and managed to high scientific standards. We conducted a 'landscape analysis'—based both on a community survey and a literature review—to determine commonalities, information gaps, and challenges in the various workflows of biodiversity and environmental biobanks. The survey was completed by 55 institutions from more than 20 countries. Its results were compared to other collection-based surveys and complemented by literature research in the areas of general biobank management, staffing, sample handling, storage, (cryo-/)preservation, policies, databases, and networking. We illustrate the strengths and weaknesses of biodiversity and environmental biobanks and provide some basic recommendations for improving biobank procedures. In general, we found that increased efforts are needed to standardise biobank workflows or individual workflow components. While general, organism-independent biobanking guidelines already exist, more detailed guidance documents to date mostly address only human biobanking, or a narrow range of biodiversity. We hope to start closing that gap by providing an overview of current protocols and practices in biodiversity and environmental biobanking in form of a handbook, to which the present work is directly related. The handbook is available open-access under https://doi.org/10.3897/ab.e101876.

- Abstract
The advent of the COVID-19 pandemic and the preventive and compulsory social confinement established as a response by the national government of Argentina had an impact on the daily lives and subjectivities of children and adolescents. The authors carried out a qualitative exploratory-descriptive study that focused on the construction of meanings and emotions in relation to the pandemic, lock-downs, school experiences and care practices. A total of 68 children and adolescents from four different jurisdictions in Argentina participated in the study between March and June 2020. The authors collected oral narratives, photos, drawings and videos produced by the children and adolescents. The participants reinvented ways of bonding, playing and inhabiting spaces, establishing themselves as ethical-political subjects who are capable of caring and transforming the roles assigned to them by society despite worsening situations of inequality, fear of contagion and loss of loved ones., O advento da pandemia da Covid-19 e o isolamento social preventivo e compulsório tiveram impacto na vida diária e tiveram efeitos sobre a subjetividade de crianças e adolescentes.

- Abstract
This research was made to determine the coherence between self-perception of the state of mind and the objective presence of symptomatology of anxiety and depression in university students, from the perspective of emotional intelligence and mental health. A quantitative research was conducted using descriptive design and comparative-correlational analysis. 335 “healthy” students between 18 and 30 years old participated. We used the Beck anxiety and depression inventories and a standard self-perception questionnaire. Among other data, was found that 100 % presented objective anxiety symptoms. 35 % of the sample was self-perceived with moderate anxiety and of these only 14.2 % really met criteria of that level of anxiety. Likewise, 20 % of university students said did not identify characteristic symptoms of depression in themselves, however, of that percentage, 31.3 % did meet criteria for depression, as did 70% of the total participants. Despite this, it was generally found that the participants self-perceived with greater states of anxiety and depression than what they had (varying this by gender and age); a smaller percentage, although significant, presented pathological mood states greater than self-perceived ones., Esta investigación buscó determinar la coherencia entre la autopercepción del estado de ánimo y la presencia objetiva de sintomatología característica de ansiedad y depresión en estudiantes universitarios, abordándose desde la perspectiva de la inteligencia emocional y la salud mental.

- Abstract
The research about sleep process took into consideration diverse studies factors and variables, both environmental and biological, those that influence development and course of sleep chronobiology, among these are the functional relevance of the hypothalamus on the activity of the sleep/wake cycle and particularly the suprachiasmatic nucleus as regulator of this activity that has been highlighted. The importance of neurotransmitters such as serotonin in the induction of sleep from the synthesis of melatonin, and acetylcholine and GABA on the consolidation of cognitive activity that takes place during this period has been recognized. Thus, recent research has shown the relevance of sleep on brain function and have come to establish correlations of sleep disturbances between neuropsychiatric and neuropsychological symptoms, where disorders such as BAD, schizophrenia, depression, seasonal affective disorders and alterations in learning, memories and decision making, among others, present sleep influence on their symptoms and dysfunctions., As pesquisas sobre o sono têm sido em consideração ao estudo de vários fatores e variáveis, quanto ambientais como biológicas, que influenciam o desenvolvimento e percurso da cronobiologia do sono, entre essas, tem-se destacado a relevância funcional do hipotálamo sobre a atividade do ciclo sono/vigília e especificamente do núcleo supraquiasmático como o regulador desta atividade.

ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to determine the neuropsychological and neuropsychiatric sequelae associated with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. A comparative-correlational analysis design was proposed, in a study of 68 individuals, a clinical group consisted of 34 patients diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and the control with 34 people in an even condition to each patient, in relation to age, gender and degree. The entire profile of neurocognitive functioning and emotional and behavioral psychiatric symptoms associated with depression and anxiety were analyzed, correlated to variables such as age, time of onset development of the symptoms of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and the time of diagnosis after the onset of symptoms. The results suggest patterns of neuropsychiatric pathology characteristic of depression and anxiety disorders such as comorbidity and not as a sequel to Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. No difficulties in recognizing complex emotions. With short and long term verbal memory deficit for extensive contents, short and long term visual memory failures. They did not show commitment in processes of comprehension or verbal fluency. With alteration in executive functions, mainly monitoring and regulation of behavior. Failures in attentional processes in patients with depressive symptoms; Those who have anxiety have altered the speed of information processing. The Systemic Lupus Erythematosus as autoimmune pathology functionally affects not only the quality of life of the patient and their daily life at motor level, it also entails a neuropsychological deterioration profile that is associated to the moment of symptom manifestation and to the time that has elapsed until the diagnosis was established, from which the intensity and evolution of neurofunctional deterioration derive.

The affective disorders, especially the bipolar affective disorder, have been established as a topic of high interest in the clinical and research fields of health; however, at present there are few studies aimedat addressing neuropsychological alterations even when it are one of the most persistent and noticeable symptoms in the patient. Within the research focused on the study of these cognitive components, differences and similarities related to the etiology, clinical phases, comparative studies, symptoms and intervention by pharmacological treatment and/or neuropsychological rehabilitation. In addition, the prevailing emphasis on neurocognitive disorders such as deficits at the level of memory, attention, executive functions, motor skills and other less addressed as language, emotional recognition and theory of mind. Based on the above, this article tries to make a compilation of theoretical literature reported to date about the neuropsychology of bipolardisorder as well as a concise analysis of its impact on the individual’sbehavior.

To increase workplace diversity, it is important to assess and restructure recruitment processes to ensure objectivity and inclusiveness. Such bias can mean one is failing to hire the best person for the job and potentially missing out on valuable talent. This handbook was created to inform institutes participating in the LIBRA project and to support them in hiring the most suitable candidate, and increasing workplace diversity, which provides the basis for creativity and ultimately success. LIBRA is a project funded by the European Commission, which brings together 13 research institutes in life sciences in 13 European countries. - Abstract
The relation of declarative memory with the emotion is a subject that has generated interest within the studies of neuropsychology, which are those who seek to advance with the knowledge of the subject. This investigation pretended to identify the relations between memory and emotions in seniors without cognitive deterioration. 1 group of 40 adults with mild cognitive deterioration was selected and a second group of adults (40), without cognitive deterioration, nor with different alterations other than the normal aging ones and in equal conditions for the clinical group. Among others, results are obtained that indicate the influence of emotions such as surprise, “Anger” and fear as facilitators of the evocation of information stored within the declaratory memory. The Basic memories and the recognition are not compromised with aging and promote the recovery of the information stored within the long term memory., A relação que tem a memória declarativa com a emoção é um tema que tem gerado interesse pelos estudiosos da neuropsicologia, quem pretende avançar no conhecimento sobre o assunto. - Abstract
The research sought to establish the neuropsychological functioning of attention and memory in children with a history of preterm birth. It was developed under a quantitative approach, with descriptivecorrelational design and selection of 160 boys and girls by non-probabilistic sampling between 5 and 10 years of age, forming two groups the clinician meeting the criteria of premature birth of the World Organization Of Health, and non-clinical full-term birth and in par even for age, gender and schooling of the clinical group; A standard test and subtest protocol was developed and applied to measure memory and attention processes (Stroop test of the BANFE, CARAS-R test, Key subtest of WISC-IV, coding memory subtest of ENI, Faces I and Faces II visual memory subtest of WMS); Prior informed consent and review of medical history and birth status. There is compromise, among others, of selective and alternating attention, which improves with age and in a school environment, little control of impulses and difficulties in verbal memory in the short and long term; For visual memory there are no alterations although they require more time to evoke, relating to failures in information processing. Premature birth compromises the functioning of attention and memory in a way, however, the number of weeks of gestation is not determinant in the magnitude of these alterations, since the difficulties are specific to the subtypes of these processes which are general in themselves, some of these alterations improve over the years.

- Abstract
The objective of this research was to determine the neuropsychological and neuropsychiatric sequelae associated with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. The Systemic Lupus Erythematosus as autoimmune pathology functionally affects not only the quality of life of the patient and their daily life at motor level, it also entails a neuropsychological deterioration profile that is associated to the moment of symptom manifestation and to the time that has elapsed until the diagnosis was established, from which the intensity and evolution of neurofunctional deterioration derive., O objetivo desta pesquisa foi determinar as sequelas neuropsicológicas e neuropsiquiátricas associadas ao lúpus eritematoso sistêmico.

- Abstract

- Abstract
Black grouse in Britain have faced contraction of their range and have declined in numbers during the recent decades. As such, the species is a conservation concern in the UK. In order to aid conservation decisions, the terms Evolutionary Significant Unit (ESU) and Management Unit (MU) have been proposed. An ESU is an independently evolving evolutionary lineage defined by being reciprocally monophyletic for mitochondrial alleles, and which is significantly different from other lineages with regard to nuclear alleles, whereas an MU is operationally defined by only the latter criterion. Using mitochondrial sequences and nuclear microsatellite loci, we failed to find evidence that British black grouse is an ESU. However, British black grouse are sufficiently different from continental black grouse both with respect to mitochondrial and nuclear data to regard them as a separate MU. Furthermore, we present genetic data which suggest that British black grouse presently occur in what are probably three demographically independent units (roughly corresponding to Wales, northern England/southern Scotland and northern Scotland), which are genetically differentiated. The two southern units (Wales and northern England/southern Scotland) have lower genetic diversity and show signs of having lost genetic variability
