Musikalische Entwicklung, musikbezogenes Lernen und damit auch das vielfältige Arbeitsfeld der Musikpädagogik umfassen die gesamte Lebensspanne. In einer von beschleunigtem Wandel geprägten Musikkultur können Ausbildung und Studium längst nicht alle notwendigen Fertigkeiten und Kenntnisse vermitteln, die im Laufe eines oft jahrzehntelangen Berufslebens in musikpädagogischen Arbeitsfeldern benötigt werden. Lebenslanges Lernen und Weiterbildung sind notwendiger denn je. Dieser Tagungsband leistet einen Beitrag dazu, das noch wenig berücksichtigte Thema lebenslanges Lernen in der Musikpädagogik in Forschung, Lehre und Weiterbildung voranzubringen.

Cet ouvrage est issu du symposium intitulé « Les sciences de l'éducation et l'université : enjeux politiques et épistémologiques autour de l'internationalisation et de la démocratisation des formations universitaires » en 2019. L'ouvrage réunit neuf chercheurs francophones venus de différents pays et traite des liens entre recherche et expertise et étudie les tensions qui résultent de la coopération entre acteurs de l'enseignement supérieur de statuts différents.

Die AutorInnen zeigen Forschungszusammenhänge und Praxisbezüge auf und erläutern wichtige Begriffe wie Statuspassagen, Transitionen, Trajectories, Bewältigung von Übergängen, Subjekt. Dabei werden wissenschaftliche Ansätze theoretisch und empirisch geklärt und pädagogische Konzepte einer lernförderlichen Begleitung von Übergängen dargestellt.

What the Book Is About This book is about the problem of organizational learning, that is the analysis of organizations conceived as learning systems. In order to survive in a period of a rapid change, organizations must innovate and than to develop and exploit their abilities to learn. The most innovative organizations are those that can respond with great efficiency to internal and external changes. They respond to and generate technological change by acting as effective learning systems. They maximize the learning potential of ongoing and'normal'work activities. The organizational structure and the technology allow members to learn while the organizations itself learns from its members. So organizations reach high levels of innovation when structured to take advantage of the social, distributed, participative, situated processes of learning developed by its members in interaction with the technological environment. Organizations should consider learning as an explicit'productive'objective. They must create integrated learning mechanisms, that encompass technological tools, reward and incentive systems, human resource practices, belief systems, access to information, communication and mobility patterns, performance appraisal systems, organizational practices and structures. The design of efficient learning organizations requires cognitive, technological and social analyses. All the computer-based technologies (e. g. office automation, communication and group decision support) not only those devoted to and used in training activities, have to be considered as tools for organizational learning and innovation.

The professional conference has been, for many years, the primary tool for continuing education and networking in many professions. Now, however, the economic and environmental costs associated with travel, and the opportunity costs associated with absence from the workplace, compel organizers, trainers and executives to weigh the costs versus the benefits of this form of professional development. Online conferences offer an effective alternative that is economical, environmentally friendly and convenient. These factors position online professional conferences as poised to emerge as a mainstream form of lifelong learning in all professions. This book looks at the elements of effective continuing professional education, the affordances of interactive technologies, and the lessons learned by experienced online conference organizers. It is designed to provide guidance and advice to those wishing to coordinate, sponsor or participate effectively in an online professional development conference. The text describes various ways in which a variety of networking technologies are being used to support successful online professional development events. Resources for conference organizers are given in the form of links to commercial and open source software, and companies providing platforms and comprehensive support for the organization of online conferences. The text contains the results of interviews with 12 organizers of the most successful online conferences to date. Finally, a list of best practices, based on the research literature, experiences of the authors and experienced online conference organizers, is presented in the final chapter.

This book weaves together different strands of research in the area of lifelong learning that concentrates particularly on learning in alternative settings and ways, such experiential learning and informal and community learning. Lifelong Learning: A Symposium on Continuing Education is a selection of papers presented at the December 1965 meeting of the UNESCO International Committee for the Advancement of Adult Education. Contributors focus on the importance of lifelong learning and its practical implications, offering views on a wide range of topics such as continued professional education, industrial education, the media of mass communication, and the role of schools, colleges, and universities in promoting adult education. This book is comprised of nine chapters and opens with a discussion on the idea of lifelong learning and its implications for formal educational institutions. The following chapters deal with professional education; industrial education; the media of mass communication; and whether voluntary associations, whose ends are not primarily educational, should think of themselves as having some responsibility for helping their members to achieve lifelong learning. The responsibility of libraries and museums as well as public authorities in promoting adult education is also examined. The final chapter evaluates lifelong learning in relation to social and economic policy. This monograph will be of interest to educators and policymakers.
