Hydrodynamic analysis of semi-submersible offshore structures has been the topic of several numerical and experimental research studies conducted in the past. In this work, the effect of structure alignment and mooring lines on the dynamic behaviour of semi-submersible platforms was taken into account. The contribution of pitch and roll into heave motion of side-points was also investigated. Mooring lines are connected to semi-submersible platforms at the sides; therefore, the total displacement of side-points is related to the total displacement of mooring lines and total tension. A three-dimensional boundary element model of Amirkabir platform in the Caspian Sea was created using the boundary element method and the resulting response amplitude operators (RAOs) were obtained. A conceptual study on RAOs was conducted, which showed that structure alignment with respect to wave direction is highly important for a range of wave periods. In addition, in surge and sway, the effect of mooring lines is significant in particular ranges of wave periods. The contributions of roll and pitch to the side-points of semi-submersible platforms are also considerable in a range of periods.

God has blessed the females with most valuable gift of motherhood. Ayurveda is the science which offers a specific routine to the pregnant woman and systematic supervision known as Garbhini Paricharya as pregnant woman’s diet and activities performed during the period of pregnancy reflect on the fetus. Hence in Ayurveda, our Acharyas have given great emphasis on Garbhini Paricharya or Antenatal care. Acharyas have thrown an immense light on the concept of type of diet, behaviour, conduct, medications during pregnancy that a pregnant woman should follow and avoid, known as Garbhini Paricharya. Basic objective of Garbhini Paricharya depicted in Ayurveda is to achieve a healthy progeny as well as to ensure the good health of mother and fetus during the period of pregnancy, during labor and in the postpartum period. In this paper we have described the monthly dietary regimen and lifestyle for whole nine months of pregnancy that is essential for the wellbeing of the growing fetus and pregnant woman according to Harita Samhita as well as the scientific aspects of the antenatal care. As antenatal care should be done in an integrated way i.e., as per modern science and as mentioned in Ayurvedic classics.

The contemporary human civilization has reached the peaks of accomplishment in various knowledge domains. However, people are so obsessed with their extrinsic achievements that they have forgotten to see the psychological damage caused to themselves. So, it is very crucial to explore the remedies for psychological aberrations caused by the strains of modernization. In this regard, the research article attempts to explore two psychological frameworks: Vivekananda’s Karma Yoga and Seligman’s PERMA (Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, and Accomplishment) Model. Vivekananda’s Karma Yoga places character as the centre of influence and the positive character produces appropriate behavioural or cognitive patterns. He also infers on other dimensions of positive psychology such as integration of three Gunas (Samkhya Philosophy), altruism in work and the concept of Vasudeva Kutumbakam. Besides, the article tries conceptualizing the dimensions of Karma Yoga with the PERMA Model. Seligman’s PERMA Model acts as the foundation to the western concept of positive psychology and offers objective strategies to nurture positivity in people. Although there is a subjective or objective variation in these Indian and Western frameworks, there is a commonality in each dimension of these frameworks. The research article tries to exemplify commonalities among these dimensions and their applicability in achieving personal transformation. The article also exemplifies the application value of Karma Yoga and PERMA model at the workplace and how these two frameworks may be integrated to infuse more intrinsic and extrinsic positivity in the professionals. The scope of the conceptual study is widely elaborated in the article and it may be an enlightening outcome for the professional working in the corporate world.

Purpose The manuscript reflects on the future of higher education from an emerging country perspective. The authors specifically answer how new education policies, ranking and accreditation are impacting the current state of Indian higher education institutions (IHEIs) and how IHEIs can cultivate their path towards positioning themselves internationally. This study aims to bring together existing scenarios and to serve as a springboard for future research and applications. Design/methodology/approach The manuscript is designed and executed as a conceptual study exploring the current state and prospects for IHEIs. The study synthesizes the concepts of positioning strategies in context to IHEIs. A conceptual diagram integrating existing concepts from marketing, total quality management and business education is created to understand the phenomenon among the IHEIs stakeholders. Findings The authors found that IHEIs started showing their international presence yet they are facing various challenges (government bureaucracy; international salary standards; global student population; and cultural sensitivity). The authors also found that the positioning problem is not a one-time attempt; the complexity of higher education is a “wicked problem” and, hence needs to be evaluated, changed and executed continuously. The manuscript offers relevant information to IHEIs leaders and stakeholders to improve on their international positioning strategies and proposes avenues for future research. Originality/value The study outlines future development and positioning strategic plans that IHEIs may consider and reflect in their strategic plan. The conceptual diagram on achieving successful international positioning and problem areas is expected to act as a guidebook for the key decision-makers. The focus is on distinguishing the imperatives, creating a key guide for meeting immediate requirements, allotting assets prudently to update their international presence. The study will provide IHEIs with a new lease of life in the future.

Nowadays due to unawareness about Prakriti (psychosomatic constitution) people are practising inappropriate diet and lifestyle which leads to disturbances in the digestive system. The core principles in Ayurveda give prime im- portance to Agni, Prakriti, Ahara (food) and Vihara (lifestyle) in maintaining health. In the present era, people are scheduled to one or the other works due to which they are following unwholesome food and habits which may lead to the manifestation of many diseases. One of the common disorders which troubles a person a lot is Amlapitta. It is composed of the word Amla and Pitta. Amlapitta is a very common disease caused by Vidagdha Pitta with features like Amlaudgara, Tiktaudgara, Hrud Kantha Daha etc. It is the GI disorder described in Ayurvedic texts that closely resembles Gastritis in modern science. In the chronic stage, it may lead to ulcerative colitis. In modern medical science, they give some anta-acids, H2 blockers, Proton pump inhibitors, some steroids which have high prevalence costs and side effects. Today there is a need for a potent herbal formulation that can cure hyperacidity and ulcers. Ritu shodhana will help to promote health and prevent the onset of diseases and also by doing the nidana parivarjana which will help to prevent the onset of diseases. If the employees are well aware of the organization environment, their duties, and objectives,they can perform their tasks in a better way, and it helps the organization to enhance its productivity. We studied the feasibility of a portable salt-meter incorporating a prompt gamma neutron activation analysis with a californium-252 neutron source to meet urgent demands for non-destructive methods without pre-processing in large bulk materials such as concrete structures. This technique is aiming at the chloride ion concentration in concrete structures with a depth profile from the surface to steel bar. From the portability point of view, a californium-252 neutron source is adopted and we have performed a preliminary experiment and simulations with a simple geometry. In this paper, we describe the performances of salt detection sensitivities by applying the prompt gamma neutron activation analysis.

International audience; We propose a comprehensive analysis of existing concepts of AI coming from different disciplines: Psychology and engineering tackle the notion of intelligence, while ethics and law intend to regulate AI innovations. The aim is to identify shared notions or discrepancies to consider for qualifying AI systems. Relevant concepts are integrated into a matrix intended to help defining more precisely when and how computing tools (programs or devices) may be qualified as AI while highlighting critical features to serve a specific technical, ethical and legal assessment of challenges in AI development. Some adaptations of existing notions of AI characteristics are proposed. The matrix is a risk-based conceptual model designed to allow an empirical, flexible and scalable qualification of AI technologies in the perspective of benefit-risk assessment practices, technological monitoring and regulatory compliance: it offers a structured reflection tool for stakeholders in AI development that are engaged in responsible research and innovation.

PurposeInternational assignments rely on interactions between host country nationals (HCNs) and an international assignee (IA). These interactions are significantly determined by the reputation that the IA holds among HCNs. However, reputation has only scarcely been addressed in extant mobility research, and there is a lack of understanding about how the reputation of an IA shifts among HCNs during the course of an assignment. The purpose of this paper is to understand the development of an individual's reputation as well as the interactions between an IA and HCNs in the context of international assignments.Design/methodology/approachThis is a conceptual paper that builds upon the central idea in extant research of individual reputation as a social construction and draws on sensemaking theory to develop its conceptual model.FindingsAs extant research argues for both a temporal and dynamic dimension of reputation, the authors introduce time and reputational richness as central model elements. Furthermore, the conceptual model proposes reputational events as the principal triggers for reputational shifts. Reputational events reveal quantitatively and qualitatively new informational cues about the IA to HCNs, who then use these cues to incrementally construct the IA's reputation in sensemaking processes. In addition, contextual factors of reputational shifts, namely accelerators and amplifiers, are discussed. The authors argue that these contextual factors may affect both the timing and the strength of reputational shifts.Originality/valueThe study introduces a novel conceptual model and contributes to the understanding of individual reputation development as well as the interactions between an IA and HCNs in international assignments.

As the covid-19 positive rate keeps increasing, the Indonesian government established a large-scale social restriction, or Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) to reduce the virus spread. At the same time e-commerce use is rapidly increasing, offering convenience to customers. With the existence of e-commerce, there is no need for physical contact. The objective of this paper is to determine the relationship between online spending and e-commerce use during a pandemic. The data used for this study was gathered from existing literature such as journals, books, and research papers that are related to the research topics. The scope & limitations are the covid-19 is unpredictable, the pandemic might give a different effect on consumption behavior in the future. The research was finally able to create a clear conceptual framework on the relationship between online spending behavior and e-commerce use based on the literature review. According to the framework, perceived behavioral cost, product variety, product comparison, application usability, safeness and healthiness, and recession in Indonesia would all have a direct impact on e-commerce use during a pandemic.

Currently, South Korea is very popular for its pop music, which is Korean Pop or “K-Pop”. There are a lot of K-Pop groups and one of them is BTS. BTS’ albums are known to be one of the best-selling in K-Pop, with a total of more than 20 million albums sold in 2020. BTS also has a large number of fans, with Indonesia being one of the top 10 countries that have the highest number of BTS fans. Indonesia also has a BTS fan community that connects BTS fans in the country. However, Indonesia does not seem to contribute a high share in the selling of BTS’ albums, be it physical or digital. Therefore, this conceptual study intends to develop a research framework on the factor affecting purchase decisions on BTS albums. The literature that is used in this conceptual study is limited to literature that is published in 2010 or above. This study contributes to the future researcher to make further research regarding the effect of fan community towards its members’ purchase decision of BTS’ album.

The decades-old idea of electric-powered commercial flight has re-emerged alongside high expectations for greener CO2 emission-free air transportation. But to what extent can electric aircraft reduce the energy and environmental footprint of aviation? What should such aircraft look like, and how does their operation compare to conventional jet aircraft? What technologies are needed and which of them are already in place? This paper goes back to the basics of flight physics and critically analyzes some of the unresolved challenges that lay ahead. Current commercial operations are examined and the short-term effects of any electrification of short-range flights are quantified. Fundamental system components and basic design and operating concepts are analysed to highlight unavoidable constraints that often seem to be misunderstood or overlooked. These limitations are illustrated with a conceptual study of a full-electric FAR/CS-23 commuter aircraft and realistic estimations of its performance. It becomes clear that electric propulsion alone will not fully meet society’s expectations, even if key enabling technologies continue to develop as forecast. Nevertheless, this paper suggests that electrification may instead become one piece of a propulsion-technology mix that would more effectively address our short- and long-term emission goals.

To understand every religion, it is vital to study the main sources, the specific religious scriptures of a particular religion. In order to draw a conclusion about the core message of religion, it is not scientific to observe only the practices of the adherents of a certain religion. Although Buddhism and Islam have been considered as religions of peace, the meeting of Buddhists and Muslims is most often imagined as one of violent confrontation in the modern world. There should be an understanding between Buddhism and Islam to ensure peaceful coexistence among the adherents. Based on the arguments,this study aims to analyze peaceful coexistence through two different concepts, Brahmavihārās from Buddhism and Maqāṣidh al-Sharīʿa from Islam. Primarily it seeks to analyze these two concepts within their respective religions for a better comparison. It uses a library-based qualitative method. For this purpose, the research adopts the content analysis method, which focuses on the materials from journals, books, written reports, and other materials. The study highlights that even though Buddhism and Islam have different doctrinal foundations, the basic teachings promote peaceful coexistence from different points of view. This research concludes that both religions share similar concepts of peaceful coexistence which denote and declare human dignity as a right that should be paid attention. Both religions prioritize love and justice as the main standard in discussing peaceful coexistence. Hopefully, this conceptual study will be able to show that these two ideas are very significant and valuable when dealing with religious conflicts, to make a better inter-religious understanding among Buddhists and Muslims and to succeed in a process of reconciliation and for peaceful coexistence among diverse religious people.

Product-service systems (PSSs) have attracted researchers in engineering design for the past decades. Recent advances in digital technologies have expanded the potential functionalities that PSSs could deliver and designers' repertoire of tools and techniques to make new value propositions. The key to the success of new value propositions is to achieve customer acceptance and continuous use. However, little is known about the precise routes by which customers accept and use PSSs over time and its dynamics. This conceptual study aims to provide an enhanced view of customer acceptance and continuous use of PSSs by integrating multiple theories and literature streams. In this paper, we suggest three propositions based on the key concepts found in our literature review—well-being, trust and control—, and illustrate a conceptual framework that represents the dynamics of customer acceptance and continuous use of PSSs. Based on the proposed framework, we outline further research questions that could advance our knowledge about design for continuous use of PSSs.

The article emphasizes the importance of conceptual study of terms that have linguistic meaning. In particular, one of the concepts reflecting the worldview of the Kazakh people was the concept of "amanat". For the cognitive disclosure of the concept of amanat, it is necessary to give a binary oppositional pair formed by the concept of "kiyanat" (abuse, violence), through which it is possible to determine the meaning of the concept of amanat for the people. To determine the application of the concept of amanat in the XIX-XX centuries, work was carried out with sources of that period, for example, the concept of amanat, found in the works of the traveler F. A. Fielstrup, the historian E. Bekmakhanov, describing that time, reflects the worldview of the people, as well as the analysis of proverbs and sayings that are firmly entrenched in the minds of the people, is widely reflected in this article. Kiyanat is widely discussed as a concept denoting violence, injustice, imperiousness and arbitrariness committed by a person when it is believed that the moral qualities of the offended person are destroyed. The concept of kiyanat forms a binary oppositional pair to the concept of amanat, hence we have grouped the types of abuse against a person, violence against oneself - an insult to the senses, lies, rude speech as an insult to the language. To determine how deeply modern society understands the concepts of amanat and kiyanat, a sociological survey was conducted, the results of which are presented in this work.

Overeating is the excess food consumed in relation to the energy that an organism expends. Out of various eating disorders overeating from supersize meal portions is termed as Atimatrashan in Ayurveda. In Ayurveda great emphasis has been given on the ideal quantity i.e., ‘matra’ of Aahara which is customized according to individual appetite. While occasional overeating predisposes to various disorders manifested through impaired digestive function, Habitual overeating eventually leads to obesity. Obesity being a state of chronic inflammation predisposes to wide range of diseases including Metabolic syndrome and Cancer. In this context, this paper discusses the Ayurvedic concept of Tridosha Prakop (vitiation of all the three Doshas) with the resulting ailments and Aamvish which is said to be formed as a result of habitual overeating and is thought to be Vishsadrushya (highly toxic) and param asaadhyam (incurable).

The economy has improved very rapidly in the digital age. The birth of various policies that actually do not consider the religious side, which only cares about profit. This becomes a challenge in providing a factual answer to the conception of economic policy that is in line with economic principles in accordance with Islamic law.So, it is very urgent to re-explore the conception and implementation of economic policies outlined in Islamic law. The study is a conceptual study by conducting a literature review. This study focuses on theories related to the concept of economic policy in the perspective of Islamic law.The findings in this study indicate that economic policies in Islamic law have been stipulated in the Islamic texts which substantially prohibit policies that use people's property, criminalizing policies. Economic policies that are in accordance with Islamic law are policies that are fostering in increasing economic development.This economic policy has long been practiced by the Prophet (pbuh) and his companions during the period ofkhulafaurasyidin as a way to improve the economy with policies that are relevant to the objectives of the Islamic texts. The implication of this finding is that in carrying out economic policies always consider economic policies that are in line with the provisions of the Quran and hadith.

Ayurveda is the best way to deal with it as it cures the root cause of any problem. According to Ayurveda skin diseases are caused by imbalance of Doshas and therefore treatment depends on imparting harmony and balance for the individual. In Ayurveda skin diseases are included under the heading of Kushta and Kshudrarogas. Vyanga is one among the Kshudra rogas, even though Vyanga is a Kshudraroga it produces a great misery for the person due to dark discoloration of the skin, mostly over the face, occasionally on neck and rarely in forearms. Vyanga is a pathological situation of the facial skin which is produced due to the vitiation of Vata, Pitta, Rakta and Manasika Nidanas such as Krodha (anger), Shoka (sorrow), and Ayasa (mental exertion) are main culprits, these producing cardinal features such as Niruja (painless), Tanu (thin) and Shyavavarna Mandalas (bluish black colour patches). The Lakshanas of Vyanga are explained by different authors in the classical texts of Ayurveda under the heading of Kshudra rogas, Sushruta samhita, Ashtanga samghraha, Madhava nidana, Ashtanga hrudaya, Bhava prakasha, Sharangadhara samhita. In the context of Vyanga both Shodhana and Shamana chikitsa are explained in the form of Raktamokshana, Lepa, Abhyanga, and oral medications. Vyanga is correlated with melasma in the modern aspects, it is a chronic, acquired cutaneous characterised by hypopigmented patches on sun exposed areas of the face. Ayurveda cures the root cause of any problem. Any activity that increases the fire or heat in the body increase Pitta and can lead to skin diseases.

Job turnover has been a longstanding concern to academic researchers whereby numerous researchers have resulted in the classification of factors that cause turnover intentions among employees. Indian context has been well explored, but the literature remain scant on the issue in the context of Indian countries especially Libya. This study is an attempt to address the gap in literature and aimed at determining the relationship amid training, job satisfaction and alternative jobs on employee turnover in the Libyan oil sector. The correlation findings revealed that training has insignificant relationship with job turnover, whereas job satisfaction and alternative job are positively related to job turnover. Finally, recombination are made for future research and implications for Sail, Bhel and Many more oil companies to improve their practices. Performance. This discussion in literature provides the impetus to examine the relationship between training, job satisfaction, and job opportunity with job turnover in private Sectors. The use of solar-heated liquid metal in a magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) generator provides an alternative and direct conversion method for electric power generation. This prompted the present study to conduct a three-dimensional numerical analysis for a liquid Ga68In20Sn12 flow exposed to several uniform magnetic field intensities (Bo of 0.5 T, 1T and, 1.41 T) within a disk channel geometric boundary. The aim is to study the influence of the external magnetic fields on the generator performance and the fluid flow stability at a high Reynolds number (Re) and Hartmann number (Ha) using the Ansys Fluent software. The simulation results show that at Re of ≈ 2.44e6, the fluid velocity decreases inside the generator regardless of Bo. When Bo of 1T and 1.41T are applied, the velocity magnitude decreases and spreads within the disk channel and walls due to high Ha values (5874 and 8282). The fluid pressure increases from the nozzle pipe inlet to the disk channel and decreases towards the outlet. The induced current density in the radial direction, jx, increases within the disk channel and near the inner electrode edge as Bo increases. A significant observation is that the current densities obtained for Bo of 1T and 1.41T cases are higher than in other cases. The numerical analysis obtained in this study showed that the Bo of either 1T or 1.41T is needed to achieve the required flow stability, current density, and output powers.

Earthquake early warning (EEW) is becoming an increasingly attractive real-time strategy for mitigating the threats posed by potentially devastating incoming seismic events. As efforts accelerate to develop practical EEW-based solutions for earthquake-prone countries in Europe, it is important to understand and quantify the level of performance that can be achieved by the underlying seismological algorithms. We conduct a conceptual study on EEW performance in Europe, which explicitly focuses on the accuracy and associated uncertainties of selected methodological approaches. Twenty-three events from four diverse European testbeds are used to compare the quality of EEW predictions produced by the Virtual Seismologist and PRobabilistic and Evolutionary early warning SysTem algorithms. We first examine the location and magnitude estimates of the algorithms, accounting for both bias and uncertainty in the resulting predictions. We then investigate the ground-shaking prediction capabilities of the source-parameter estimates, using an error metric that can explicitly capture the propagation of uncertainties in these estimates. Our work highlights the importance of accounting for EEW parameter uncertainties, which are often neglected in studies of EEW performance. Our findings can be used to inform current and future implementations of EEW systems in Europe. In addition, the evaluation metrics presented in this work can be used to determine EEW accuracy in any worldwide setting.

Vyanga is one of the Kshudraroga1, characterized by the presence of painless, bluish-black patches on face. On the basis of clinical features, it can be compared with Facial melasma. Melasma is characterized by dark, discolored patches on skin. It's also called chloasma. It typically occurs in the face and symmet-rical, with matching marks on both sides of the face. Area of the body which exposed to sun can also de-velop melasma. According to Ayurveda, vitiated Dosha mainly Pitta along with Vata produce blackish patches on the face which is called Vyanga. Vyanga is Rakta Pradoshaj Vikar and in its Doshas involved is Udana Vayu, Bhajrak Pitta and Dushya Rasa and Rakta Dhatu, as this condition disturbed our mental and physical state. In modern medical science, topical steroids have been described in the management of faci-al melasma. However, the topical steroids are may cause adverse effects such as irritation, rashes etc. and are expensive too. Ayurveda treatment includes Abhyanga with Taila, Lepa, Pradeha, Nasya, Rak-tamokshana etc. Ayurveda mentions a good number of drugs like Kusthaghna, Kandughna, Raktasho-dhaka, Twakprasadaka and Varnyakara properties e.g. Arjuna, Nimba, Manjistha are helpful in manage-ment and can produce cutaneous depigmentation that remove the blackish discoloration of skin.
