- Abstract
Digital forensics deals with the acquisition, preservation, examination, analysis and presentation of electronic evidence. Computer networks, cloud computing, smartphones, embedded devices and the Internet of Things have expanded the role of digital forensics beyond traditional computer crime investigations. Practically every crime now involves some aspect of digital evidence; digital forensics provides the techniques and tools to articulate this evidence in legal proceedings. Digital forensics also has myriad intelligence applications; furthermore, it has a vital role in cyber security – investigations of security breaches yield valuable information that can be used to design more secure and resilient systems. This book, Advances in Digital Forensics XIX, is the nineteenth volume in the annual series produced by the IFIP Working Group 11.9 on Digital Forensics, an international community of scientists, engineers and practitioners dedicated to advancing the state of the art of research and practice in digital forensics. The book presents original research results and innovative applications in digital forensics. Also, it highlights some of the major technical and legal issues related to digital evidence and electronic crime investigations. This volume contains fourteen revised and edited chapters based on papers presented at the Nineteenth IFIP WG 11.9 International Conference on Digital Forensics held at SRI International in Arlington, Virginia, USA on January 30-31, 2023. A total of 24 full-length papers were submitted for presentation at the conference.

- Abstract
This is an open access book. With the rapid development of society and the continuous progress of computer science and technology, when entering the information age, design has also been integrated into the new media age in time. The application of computer technology in design has broken the limitations of traditional design, achieved a huge breakthrough in the field of design, provided more innovative forms of expression for design, and also achieved subversive changes in design methods. We need to note that design comes from life, and then it is a matter of applying tools and crafting techniques to realize it. For designers, maintaining innovation is still the first and foremost in creation. How to use technology to enable design without relying on technology is still a dilemma. Therefore, it is necessary to create a space for the researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts in the field of computing and design to gather and discuss this current issue. The International Conference on Computer Technology and Media Convergence Design aims to accommodate this need, as well as to:1. Advance the academic field by exploring cutting-edge research and applications.2. Open up new horizons, broaden the horizons of computer technology research and design,3. Create academic forums to provide opportunities for academic resource sharing and research exchanges.2022 2nd International Conference on Computer Technology and Media Convergence Design (CTMCD 2022) will be held in Dali, China during May 13-15, 2022. CTMCD2022 invites the researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts in the field of computing and design to participate and share knowledge. We also accept papers on computer technology and media convergence design.

This is an open access book.Adaptive, Resilient & Collaborative EngineeringTowards Faster Recovery & Impactful SolutionsThe world in the last decade has been facing global issues such as accelerated global warming, depleting natural resources, food waste and scarcity, water contamination and shortage, energy conservation, etc. Enter the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and we face what people term as double disruption. Not only solutions to the above problems are becoming more critical, but they are also needed fast. Timely and effective solutions are called for so that we can recover from the pandemic while at the same time carry our efforts to better our world. It is no longer sufficient to find solutions that can only delay the negative impacts from the above problems, but it is imperative to tip the balance and reverse the impacts to our advantage. Engineers and engineering have a vital role in inventing mechanisms, systems, and/or products that can address the solutions. Digital technologies and artificial intelligence have been at the forefront of such exploration and we can expect some hints for a better future, if we continue being adaptive, resilient, and collaborative.Given the above background, Faculty of Engineering - Universitas Surabaya, will host the fourth bi-annual international conference “The 4th International Conference on Informatics, Technology and Engineering 2023 (InCITE 2023)” in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, September 14th–15th, 2023. This event is a continuation of the past events successfully held in 2017, 2019, and 2021. We invite academia and business practitioners all around the globe to share ideas and best practices relevant to the above conference topic. We hope that this event can also serve as a platform of gathering for anyone interested in exploring potential solutions of our common problems today.Accepted and presented paper will be submitted for publication in reputable International Proceeding (Atlantis Press).See you in Yogyakarta!

This book constitutes the refereed post-conference proceedings of the 18th EAI International Conference on Computer Science and Education in Computer Science, CSECS 2022, held in June 2022 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Due to COVID-19 pandemic the conference was held On-Site and virtually. The 15 full papers and 9 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 53 submissions. The papers present are grouped into 2 tracks, i.e., computer science implementations and education in computer science. CSECS conference presents research in software engineering and information systems design, cryptography, the theoretical foundation of the algorithms, and implementation of machine learning and big data technologies. Another important topic of the conference is the education in computer science which includes the introduction and evaluation of computing programs, curricula, and online courses, to syllabus, laboratories, teaching, and pedagogy aspects. The technical and education topics evolved multiple existing and emerging technologies, solutions, and services for design and training providing a heterogeneous approach towards delivering Software 4.0 and Education 4.0 to a broad range of citizens and societies.

Digital forensics also has myriad intelligence applications; furthermore, it has a vital role in cyber security -- investigations of security breaches yield valuable information that can be used to design more secure and resilient systems. Advances in Digital Forensics XVIII describes original research results and innovative applications in the discipline of digital forensics. In addition, it highlights some of the major technical and legal issues related to digital evidence and electronic crime investigations. The areas of coverage include: This book is the eighteenth volume in the annual series produced by the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) Working Group 11.9 on Digital Forensics, an international community of scientists, engineers and practitioners dedicated to advancing the state of the art of research and practice in digital forensics. The book contains a selection of eleven edited papers from the Eighteenth Annual IFIP WG 11.9 International Conference on Digital Forensics, a fully-virtual event held in the winter of 2022.

- Abstract
The recent surge of interest in digital ecosystems is not only transforming the business landscape, but also poses several human and organizational challenges. Due to the pervasive effects of the transformation on firms and societies alike, both scholars and practitioners are interested in understanding the key mechanisms behind digital ecosystems, their emergence and evolution. In order to disentangle such factors, this book presents a collection of research papers focusing on the relationship between technologies (e.g. digital platforms, AI, infrastructure) and behaviours (e.g. digital learning, knowledge sharing, decision-making). Moreover, it provides critical insights into how digital ecosystems can shape value creation and benefit various stakeholders. The plurality of perspectives offered makes the book particularly relevant for users, companies, scientists and governments. The content is based on a selection of the best papers – original double-blind peer-reviewed contributions – presented at the annual conference of the Italian chapter of the AIS, which took place in Pavia, Italy in October 2018.
