This research aimed to analyze the characteristics of engagement at work by female entrepreneurs who work in multilevel marketing in the city of Belém do Pará, Pará State, Brazil. Therefore, an exploratory and descriptive survey was carried out with non-probabilistic sampling by judgment comprising fifty-seven female entrepreneurs who agreed to participate in the study. Data were obtained by the Utrech Work Engagement Scale (UWES-17) and treated with statistical techniques in the form of frequency distribution and percentage calculations. Results showed high engagement at work with a predominance of vigor and dedication over absorption, presenting 73% of the sample highly engaged, 13% with intermediate engagement, and 14% disengaged. Conclusions indicate that companies and distributors have used adequate strategies to balance demands and resources, enabling engagement in the sales force job. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study presents a service model based on socio-emotional skills for the after-sales department of a specific organization. The research, conducted over a year, aimed to demonstrate the importance of these skills in creating a supportive and motivating work environment and their direct impact on generating income and profits. The model was implemented in the technical assistance sector of a company located in the northern plateau of Santa Catarina, serving as a case study. To support the theoretical framework, a Systematic Bibliographic Review (RBS) was conducted between 2017 and 2022, focusing on the most relevant themes related to the study. The research involved various activities, including daily practices of active listening to provide comfort to customers in need of technical assistance. Additionally, specialized lectures on communication were organized to address theoretical aspects of socio-emotional skills. The results of the study were measured through customer feedback and cost savings. The implementation of the model led to increased customer satisfaction and more efficient resource allocation. Overall, this research highlights the significance of socioemotional skills in improving both the work environment and the financial performance of organizations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The aim of this study is to develop a model in order to list IT workers' priorities on organizational citizenship behaviors and interpersonal trust. For this study, 352 individuals from several IT organizations in Brazil participated, most of them located in RS. For data collection, the OCB-TC and Interpersonal Trust scales were used and for the analyses, exploratory factor analysis was carried out to investigate the properties of the scales and AHP modeling to analyze the degree of priority of the criteria (constructs). The results, in relation to OCBs, reveal the predominance of the Help criterion as the most prioritized by workers. This suggests that help-based behaviors are the most practiced and prioritized by individuals in the work environment. For IT, the most prioritized criterion was Trust in the superior. Such evidence suggests that individuals trust their superior more often than their co-workers. Furthermore, this study aims to enrich the reflections and debates about the constructs, with empirical evidence that shows organizational factors that are more prioritized by workers in relation to the dimensions of their work. Case context: Juliano is a manager of a financial agency and is about to make a difficult decision that could affect his career and his work environment. Juliano has been reflecting in search of criteria and arguments that support his choice. Dilemma: The most important job after Juliano will be occupied soon, the protagonist of this narrative needs to analyze the options for filling the vacancy: personal friend, internal selection, external selection or fulfilling the request of an important employee in the company. The ethical objective of this teaching case is to provoke a discussion about dilemmas present in the routine of team managers, to discuss the advantages and maintain the different types of personnel selection and the challenges in dealing with interpersonal issues in the work environment. Case closure: The case manages to go beyond the practical utility of choosing one of the four highlighted alternatives. The essence of this case is constituted by the exercise in how each individual proposes to deal with embarrassing situations, personal priorities and values, attitudes and positions, inspiring self-knowledge and managerial practice. Purpose: To analyze the relationship among diversity management, organizational identification and voice behavior of minorities in organizations. Design/methodology/approach: For data collection, a survey was carried out with a sample of 288 workers from the Metropolitan Mesoregion of Belo Horizonte, belonging to at least one of these minority groups: Black people, women, the elderly (over 60 years), people with disabilities and LGBTQIA+. For data analysis, the Structural Equation Modeling technique was used. Research, Practical & Social implications: The research's contribution resides in the advance it brings to the understanding of the multiple benefits arising from the proper management of diversity and which are linked, specifically, to the attitudes and behaviors of minorities in the work environment. Originality/value: The research seeks to advance discussions on the influence that practices that aim to ensure the proper management of diversity exert on the attitudes and behaviors of professionals who make up social minorities. The purpose of this article was to present scientific production on the topic engagement at work (EGT) with a view to identifying gaps in scientific production and highlighting its importance in the field of well-being at work. This is a descriptive study, with a quantitative approach to the data collected through bibliometrics, a technique for measuring the production and disseminating of scientific knowledge. To this end, searches were carried out on the Web of Science (WOS) from 2011 to 2020. The results demonstrate the existence of 2,797 published articles, with temporal distribution indicating a linear growth trend, with the article written by Christian, Garza and Slaughter (2011) being the most influential of the decade, and Arnold B. Bakker the most cited author. This research contributes towards presenting that despite the significant epistemological and methodological advances in the field, the supremacy of Bakker and his team suggests linearity with only one theoretical current.

Purpose - The objective of this research was to statistically compare employee's use of sources of guidance (SOGs) at work in the United States and Brazil and discuss results in the light of differences concerning national cultural characteristics. Method - 220 employees from a Brazilian university and 166 employees from an American university filled out a paper-and-pencil questionnaire. Pearson correlation tests (r) and Student t-tests were run to investigate statistically significant differences between the two samples, which were discussed in the light of national cultural characteristics. Main results - Americans presented significantly higher means than Brazilians on Informal Rules and People Outside Organization, and Brazilians presented significantly higher mean than Americans on Formal Rules and Procedures. The discussion showed that some of these differences are compatible with national cultural characteristics. Relevance/Originality - Recognizing the importance and the role of national cultures on individuals' attitudes and behavior within the organizational environment is fundamental in the search for effective and contextualized management practices. Theoretical/methodological contributions - Up until 2020, only 12 theoreticalempirical studies about SOGs were developed. Hence, the present study theoretically and empirically contributes to knowledge about this very important work-related construct. Social/management contributions - The results suggest to managers, human resource professionals, and psychologists important differences in the attitudes of American and Brazilian employees concerning the use of sources of guidance at work, contributing, for instance, to recruitment and selection processes in multinationals. This study aimed to test the influence of employees’ personal values and dark personality traits on their attitude toward relying on sources of guidance when dealing with different events at work. 220 employees from a Brazilian university filled out a paper-and-pencil questionnaire comprised of three previouslyvalidated scales. Correlations and multiple linear regressions were performed to test the influence of personal values and dark personality traits on guidance sources at work. The results yielded from the tests suggest to managers, human resource professionals, and psychologists which internal characteristics are relevant to predicting the use of five sources of guidance at work. Purpose: The objective of this research was to statistically test significant correlations between dark personality traits and employee's use of sources of guidance when dealing with different events at work, comparing the United States and Brazil. Methodology: 220 employees from a Brazilian university and 166 employees from an American university filled out a paper-and-pencil questionnaire comprised of two previously-validated scales. Based on the theoretical review about the constructs, 10 hypotheses were raised to be empirically tested through Pearson correlation (r) tests. Findings: The dark personality trait Machiavellianism was positively correlated with the use of Informal Rules and negatively correlated with the use of Formal Rules and Procedures as a guidance source at work in the American sample. In addition, the dark personality trait Psychopathy was negatively correlated with the use of Formal Rules and Procedures as a guidance source at work in the Brazilian sample. Practical implications: The findings have implications for administrators and human resource professionals, who can benefit from knowledge about correlations between dark personality traits and employee's attitude of relying on sources of guidance at work, especially when it comes to recruiting and selecting processes. Limitations: Although the research was restricted to correlations, it elaborated a robust ground for causality investigations. Originality: The investigation involved two countries with a cross-cultural approach. In an international and multicultural scenario, it becomes strategic to deeper investigate specificities of work-related constructs in different nations, aiming at effective and contextualized management practices. Contexto e Objetivo: A relevância de uma investigação empírica no setor da saúde e em meio hospitalar surge do facto de estes serem contextos emergentes e complexos, onde a problemática do comportamento organizacional e, em particular da satisfação profissional, tem sido alvo de atenção por parte dos gestores. Torna-se assim premente a pluralidade de saberes e cooperação multidisciplinar de áreas científicas para uma melhor compreensão da importância da gestão da satisfação nas organizações de saúde. Apesar dos inúmeros fatores considerados críticos para o sucesso da gestão da satisfação, cingiu-se o estudo à cultura organizacional, procurando-se analisar o perfil e a sua relação com a gestão da satisfação dos trabalhadores de três serviços que integram um departamento de um hospital público de saúde. Método: O estudo, de natureza quantitativa e de corte transversal, assentou num fenómeno singular de características únicas — o Departamento de Ginecologia/Obstetrícia e Reprodução Humana de uma Unidade Hospitalar —, recorrendo ao Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI), traduzido e adaptado para a língua portuguesa. O OCAI foi aplicado a 136 trabalhadores com cargos e funções profissionais distintas dos três serviços do departamento. O instrumento utilizado foi validado, apresentando boas qualidades psicométricas. Resultados: A perceção dos trabalhadores sobre os diferentes serviços do departamento evidenciou congruências em relação à cultura organizacional, reconhecendo que nos serviços predominam características das culturas Clã e Hierárquica. No entanto, as discrepâncias entre a cultura atual (vigente) e a cultura futura preferida (ideal) indicaram que os trabalhadores, apesar de desejarem manter essas culturas em determinadas dimensões, idealizaram trabalhar num ambiente organizacional com características das quatro tipologias culturais. Conclusão: Determinadas características da cultura organizacional devem ser reajustadas, pois podem influenciar na gestão da satisfação dos trabalhadores constituindo um fator crítico de sucesso dos três serviços de saúde públicos.

The survey of publications was carried out in three databases (Capes, Scielo and Dimensions) forwarded by the following guiding questions: how does organizational socialization occur in HEIs? How does Kknowledge Sharing in HEI contribute to the Organizational Socialization process? To answer these questions, using the Systematic-Search Flow (SSF) method - since this model systematizes the search process and guarantees repeatability, in addition to focusing on exhaustive research on the topic - studies published between February were selected. 2010 to February 2020. To compose the review analysis corpus, 17 articles were obtained. It was found that, although Knowledge Sharing and Organizational Socialization are terms frequently used in national and international literature, research analyzing the relationship between the two is scarce, with only two results being found, none of which specifically addressed the association of concepts. with HEI. Context: Work teams in the Human Resources and Financial Department of a large consumer goods company needed to reorganize and adapt themselves to the compulsory remote work imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Through daily online meetings, they interacted, learned to deal with the new scenario, perceived difficulties, and found opportunities. Now, beyond the actual challenges, they are facing uncertainty about to what extent this work organization will be maintained in the medium and long-term. Teaching goals: Analyze the characteristics of the work-teams, reflect on the factors that facilitated and hindered the performance of virtual teams, discuss leadership in remote work contexts, and consider possible changes in teamwork in the post-pandemic period. The case generates reflection about face-to-face and virtual teamwork, as well as on barriers, facilitators, and challenges for the implementation of remote work, which enables fostering competencies and skills of recognition, definition, and resolution of problems, strategic thinking, and proposals for changes in work organization. As it presents different contexts and opinions, sometimes contradictories, careful referrals are required. Data source: The case is based on real data obtained through an electronic questionnaire sent to employees in June 2020. The name of the company was kept confidential. Although real speeches, characters and their interaction are fictional. Applicability: It can be used as a teaching tool in modules and assignments related to Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and Team Development, present in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Purpose: Considering importance of work for people, this study proposes to analyze the relationship between quality of life and well-being at work for motorists of urban collective transport in Chapecó. Design/methodology/approach: It is a census, with a quantitative, descriptive approach, and cross-sectional survey. The participants were all the urban collective transport motorists of Chapecó, Santa Catarina, and the questionnaires were applied between August and October 2018. Research, Practical & Social implications: The research has an empirical contribution, and it has the potential for guiding people management practices according to the demographic characteristics of the public investigated, as well as proposing reflections on aspects that can be improved and/or strengthened from two results of correlations. Originality/value: We found significant correlations between physical and environmental aspects with commitment and satisfaction, and between physical, psychological and social aspects with non-work involvement. This study examined the relationship between person-organization fit and turnover intentions, along with the moderating effect of organizational trust. The sample consisted of 381 workers of both genders (61% female) and average age of 39.23, who answered the on-line versions of organizational values, organizational trust and turnover intention measures. The results showed that the higher the person-organization fit related to conservatism and harmony values, the lower the turnover intention. Trust in the organization's ethical standards moderated the relationship between person-organization fit related to dominance and autonomy values and turnover intention. It was concluded that a reduced trust in the organization's ethical standards contributes to accentuate the negative relation between person-organization fit associated with such values and turnover intention. Resumo A Escala de Ações de Redesenho do Trabalho é um instrumento de autorrelato para avaliação do job crafting, entendido como mudanças proativas conduzidas pelo indivíduo para modificar seu trabalho de forma a ajustá-lo às suas motivações, competências e valores. Suas propriedades psicométricas foram investigadas em dois estudos, sendo o primeiro com uma amostra on-line de 261 adultos e o segundo com 152 adultos, funcionários de uma organização privada do interior paulista. Os resultados de ambos os estudos corroboram a estrutura interna do instrumento por meio de técnicas exploratórias (análise fatorial exploratória e análise de rede) e análise fatorial confirmatória. O desempenho psicométrico da escala foi satisfatório em ambos os estudos no que diz respeito aos parâmetros de validade e fidedignidade. Observou-se a primazia da dimensão cognitiva do construto. Conclui-se que a Escala de Ações de Redesenho do Trabalho é uma medida válida e precisa no contexto brasileiro, possibilitando pesquisas futuras na área.

Em face das inúmeras mudanças na gestão de pessoas nas empresas, o engajamento do trabalho ganha importância como fator de motivação intrínseca, caracterizada por um alto nível de energia e uma forte identificação com o próprio trabalho. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo principal desenvolver uma análise bibliométrica da produção de artigos internacionais sobre o tema, disponíveis nas bases Periódicos Capes e Scopus, no período de 2008-2018. Foram identificados, preliminarmente, 112 artigos, dos quais 20 foram efetivamente analisados, considerando artigos acima de 150 citações em outras pesquisas. Conclui-se que, nas publicações internacionais, há uma predominância de estudos de autores holandeses, artigos de abordagem quantitativa, em revistas sobre administração, gestão e psicologia, visando definir as correlações de engajamento no trabalho com outros construtos da área de gestão de pessoas.

Context: usually linked to power and decision making, managers are much closer to the effects of the Perceptions of Organizational Politics, a counterproductive phenomenon, but inherent in the very existence of institutions. Objective: the purpose of this paper is to investigate how managers from different companies and with different Work Engagement levels face the presence of political behavior in their organizations. Method: we performed cluster analysis with data from 1498 managers; The hypotheses were tested using multiple linear and nonlinear regression analyzes. The methodology includes descriptive statistics and ANOVA. Results: in most cases, resilience, involvement and concentration, mitigates the perception of political behavior in the organizations. However, there was a paradigm shift among the highly engaged: Engagement impacted on the increase of Perceptions of Organizational Politics. Conclusions: work Engagement and Perceptions of Organizational Politics has a curvilinear relationship, indicating that they are not necessarily antagonistic. The study indicates that emotionally and cognitively structured managers tend to increase their engagement even in the face of a heightened perception of a political ambience, revealing a positive perspective on management practices: fostering greater understanding and connection with the organizational environment will possibly yield more effective results than trying to restrain or neglect political behaviors.

O comprometimento organizacional surge como parte integrante de uma gestão eficaz dos recursos humanos, podendo-se traduzir num efeito significativo na satisfação do cliente, isto porque, profissionais de saúde mais comprometidos prestam melhores cuidados, o que se reflete em melhores resultados. Para além dessas vantagens, o comprometimento organizacional permite reduzir o absentismo e diminuir a rotatividade de profissionais, o que contribui para organizações mais coesas. Em organizações com elevado grau de complexidade, como é o caso das organizações de saúde, a preocupação com o comprometimento organizacional deve adquirir especial atenção, pois a profissionalização e a retenção dos seus profissionais, que são altamente qualificados, é imprescindível na maximização da eficiência e produtividade e, consequente, obtenção de ganhos em saúde. A realização desta revisão integrativa da literatura teve como base orientadora da investigação a questão: Quais as variáveis potenciadoras do comprometimento organizacional dos profissionais nas organizações de saúde? O objetivo foi identificar algumas variáveis que potenciam o comprometimento organizacional nas organizações de saúde e demonstrar como influenciam o comportamento organizacional dos seus profissionais. Os resultados obtidos permitiram identificar cinco variáveis potenciadoras do comprometimento organizacional: identificação com o plano estratégico da organização, confiança na liderança, tomada de decisão, condições laborais e satisfação pessoal. Concluiu-se que as variáveis identificadas evidenciam resultados positivos nas organizações de saúde. Contudo, importa, não só identificar em novos estudos outras variáveis, mas também, clarificar e aprofundar conhecimentos acerca das variáveis já identificadas, de forma a compreender como estas podem ser aplicadas, com o intuito de, cada vez mais, se promover o comprometimento organizacional nas organizações de saúde e, essencialmente, nas equipas de Enfermagem.

Organizações são impactadas por colaboradores que não se prendem nelas e buscam melhores condições de trabalho, políticas, práticas mais justas e suporte. Verificou-se as percepções de profissionais com relação à justiça distributiva e como os procedimentos influenciam a percepção de suporte organizacional, a intenção de sair e divulgação da imagem organizacional. Fez-se pesquisa quantitativa com 300 trabalhadores com análise de equações estruturais, testadas cinco hipóteses do modelo de pesquisa. Confirmou-se que a Justiça de Distributiva e a Justiça de Procedimentos influenciam a Percepção de Suporte Organizacional. Suporte Organizacional influencia negativamente a Intenção de Rotatividade interferindo positivamente na Imagem Organizacional.

Employees influence substantially the organizational outcomes. Their point of view about some organizational elements may influence, and also be influenced by, their kind of links developed to the organization. Within that context, this research aims to analyze the possible relationships between quality of work life, organizational commitment and organizational entrenchment. With that in view, an explanatory, quantitative research was carried out that used a survey composed of three validated scales, each related to one of the examined constructs. The sample was 187 employees and the data were analyzed by means of multiple regression.. The results confirmed some hypotheses and contributed to reflex about both how important the link developed by the worker to the organization is and how the kinds of link can play a role with respect to employees’ perception about organizational practices and positions.

Innovation is a premise for the search for results in its industry, due to the need for constant changes. It is essential that companies value their human capital, provide the organizational climate for the development of ideas capable of generating innovation and consolidation of their business. Therefore, this paper aims to influence the organizational culture in the innovation processes of a medium-sized company, without an electronics branch in the state of Santa Catarina. It is a descriptive, qualitative and quantitative research by case type, with a selection of interviews with different hierarchical levels, including the organization's management teams. The study used the methodological model of organizational culture proposed by Hosftede (2003). The results mark the distance between leader and subordinate, lack of stimulation, high turnover, characteristic of the sector, research, innovation and development department, innovation awards and usual innovation environment, especially at strategic hierarchical levels. A inovação é uma premissa para as empresas que buscam se destacar no seu ramo de atuação, devido à necessidade de constantes mudanças. É fundamental que as empresas valorizem o seu capital humano, proporcionando clima organizacional adequado ao desenvolvimento de ideias, que podem gerar inovação e consolidação dos seus negócios. Diante disso, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar a influência da cultura organizacional nos processos de inovação de uma empresa de médio porte no ramo de eletroeletrônicos no Estado de Santa Catarina. É uma pesquisa do tipo estudo de caso, descritiva, quali e quantitativa, com a realização de entrevistas com funcionários de diferentes níveis hierárquicos, incluindo equipes de gestão e direção da organização. O estudo utilizou o modelo metodológico de cultura organizacional proposto por Hosftede (2003). Os resultados apontam distanciamento entre líder e subordinado, falta de estímulo, alta rotatividade característica do setor de atuação, departamento de pesquisa, inovação e desenvolvimento, prêmios de inovação e ambiente favorável à inovação, especialmente nos níveis hierárquicos estratégicos. 45. Características sociodemográficas e fontes de orientação no trabalho: uma comparação entre Brasil e Estados Unidos
- Abstract
This study aimed to statistically test the influence of employees’ sociodemographic characteristics on their use of sources of guidance at work in the United States and Brazil. To achieve this objective, 220 employees from a Brazilian university and 166 employees from an American university filled out a paper-and-pencil questionnaire comprised of a previously-validated scale. Correlations and multiple linear regressions were run to test this influence. Among other results, American employees with higher education levels are more likely to use Informal Rules as sources of guidance at work. In turn, Brazilian employees with previous experience in managerial positions are more likely to use their Own Experience as a source of guidance at work. The results yielded from the tests suggest to managers, human resource professionals, and psychologists which sociodemographic characteristics are relevant to predicting the use of guidance sources at work, contributing, for instance, to recruitment and selection processes., Este estudo teve como objetivo testar estatisticamente a influência de características sociodemográficas de trabalhadores em seu uso de fontes de orientação no trabalho nos Estados Unidos e Brasil. Para atingir esse objetivo, 220 trabalhadores de uma universidade brasileira e 166 de uma universidade americana preencheram um questionário físico composto por uma escala previamente validada. Executamos correlações e regressões lineares múltiplas para testar essa influência. Entre outros resultados, os trabalhadores americanos com níveis mais altos de educação são mais propensos a usar Regras Informais como fontes de orientação no trabalho. Por sua vez, os trabalhadores brasileiros com experiência anterior em cargos gerenciais são mais propensos a utilizar a Própria Experiência como fonte de orientação no trabalho. Os resultados dos testes sugerem a gestores, profissionais de recursos humanos e psicólogos quais características sociodemográficas são relevantes para prever o uso de fontes de orientação no trabalho, contribuindo, por exemplo, para processos de recrutamento e seleção.

Purpose -- The objective of the research was to analyze informal social networks that are part of the informal organization of a restaurant, specifying relational and structural aspects of the networks of friendship, trust and learning established amongst its workers. Design/methodology/approach -- The approach of Social Networks Analysis was used, which adopts as a principle the perspective that the actors and their actions are interdependent and they establish connections amongst themselves. The study counted on the participation of 24 workers from a restaurant in the city of Fortaleza-CE, Brazil, whose social networks were mapped and analyzed with the help of Ucinet and NetDraw software. Findings -- As a result, it was found that informal networks are quite active in the restaurant. Their formation and functioning are part of the work culture of the informal organization, and do not necessarily have a direct association with formal positions and sectors. Informal organization assumes a certain independence from the formal structure, but not entirely, since the configuration of the friendship, trust and learning networks are associated with the dynamics of the restaurant's operation and the relevance of the activities performed by the workers. Originality/value -- The research shows that the analysis of social networks allows a better understanding of the relationships established between workers, as well as the intermediated content, formation of informal groups, identification of actors who are leaders and mapping of information flows, contributing to the understanding of the informal organization of work. 47. Comportamento sustentável e inovador: estudo organizacional no terceiro setor

Examina aspectos comportamentais de sustentabilidade e inovação em uma Organização do Terceiro Setor (OTS) e relaciona o perfil sociodemográfico com os construtos comportamentais sustentáveis e inovadores. Com amostra correspondente a 886 funcionários do Instituto Nordeste Cidadania (INEC), os resultados evidenciaram quatro construtos comportamentais sustentáveis (Consumo engajado, Preocupação com o lixo, Mobilização e Ambiente doméstico) e três construtos comportamentais inovadores (Preferência ao dinamismo e à criatividade, Eficiência nos detalhes e Adequação à originalidade). As análises corroboraram para a formação de três clusters: (1) Engajados, Mobilizadores e Eficientes, (2) Conscientes, Dinâmicos e Criativos e (3) Não Sustentáveis, Inflexíveis e Originais. As mulheres de até 25 anos foram mais propensas ao perfil inovador e engajadas com a sustentabilidade. Já os homens com idade de 46 a 60 anos denotaram comportamento negativo em relação a sustentabilidade e baixo comportamento inovador. Os resultados ampliam o entendimento do comportamento organizacional nas dimensões de inovação e sustentabilidade.

Humility is a characteristic little studied in the organizational environment. The interest in research on humility started to gain some representativeness this century. However, literature reviews on humility in management are rare, making it necessary to systematize the relevant knowledge in this field. This research highlights the intellectual structure of the domain, the current studies, and research opportunities associated with humility in organizations. A bibliometric study was carried out from 2000 to 2020, and activity and relationship indicators, such as co-citations and bibliographic coupling, were analyzed. Results show three major thematic lines that make up the intellectual structure of the field: (i) concepts, antecedents, and organizational attributes, (i) methods and scales, and (iii) behavioral issues. This research is organized on four major fronts: (i) expressed humility, (ii) humility and CEOs, (iii) humility and teams, and (iv) humility and organizational behavior. Finally, an agenda for future research is presented, emphasizing the analysis of how expressed humility and humble behavior can be taught and internalized in the organizational culture. Resumen La humildad es una cualidad poco estudiada en el entorno organizacional. El interés por la investigación sobre la humildad comenzó a ganar representación a partir de este siglo. Sin embargo, las revisiones de la literatura sobre la humildad en la gestión son escasas, por lo que es oportuno sistematizar los conocimientos relevantes en este campo. Evidenciar la estructura intelectual del dominio, la investigación actual y las oportunidades de investigación asociadas con la humildad en las organizaciones es el objetivo de esta investigación. Para ello, se realizó un estudio bibliométrico en el período 2000-2020, y se analizaron indicadores de actividad y relacionales ‒ cocitación y acoplamiento bibliográfico ‒. Los resultados muestran tres líneas temáticas principales que conforman la estructura intelectual del campo: (i) conceptos, antecedentes y atributos organizacionales, (ii) métodos y escalas, y (iii) cuestiones de comportamiento. La investigación actual se organiza en cuatro frentes principales: (i) humildad expresada, (ii) humildad y directores ejecutivos, (iii) humildad y equipos, y (iv) humildad y comportamiento organizacional. Al final, se presenta una agenda de investigación futura, con énfasis en el análisis de cómo se pueden enseñar e internalizar la humildad expresada y los comportamientos humildes en la cultura organizacional. 49. Conflito trabalho-família em profissionais do contexto hospitalar: análise de preditores

O presente estudo pesquisou os aspectos preditivos do conflito trabalho-família em profissionais de contextos hospitalares. Tais contextos são comumente pesquisados em termos de domínios de saúde e fatores organizacionais, sendo o conflito da interação trabalho-família ainda pouco explorado. Pesquisas sobre a relação trabalho-família são importantes tanto para as organizações, quanto para as famílias, os profissionais e a sociedade. Portanto, conduziu-se um estudo de levantamento de dados, com 470 trabalhadores, com média de idade de 34.5 anos e tempo de profissão médio de 8 anos. Os participantes responderam um questionário composto de preguntas e escalas psicológicas. Os resultados apontaram que aspectos da interferência da família no trabalho foram preditos por idade, tempo de carreira, intenção de deixar a organização e incivilidade organizacional, e a interferência do trabalho na vida familiar envolveu adicionalmente aspectos da carga horária de trabalho, a satisfação laboral, o compromisso organizacional e a civilidade organizacional. Discutem-se sugestões para a gestão e pesquisa sobre o tema em organizações.

50. Burnout em professores universitários do ensino particular

Resumo As investigações sobre a saúde de professores são um tema importante na literatura nacional e internacional. No Brasil há carência de estudos sobre Burnout em professores universitários da rede privada de ensino. Desse modo, o objetivo deste estudo é avaliar a influência das percepções de suporte organizacional e social no trabalho bem como variáveis sociodemográficas na ocorrência do Burnout nesse público. Os participantes foram 173 professores que responderam voluntariamente a questionários válidos e fidedignos em seu ambiente de trabalho. Os dados foram analisados utilizando estatística descrita e análise de regressão múltipla padrão. Os resultados indicaram sintomas da síndrome de Burnout nos professores assim como maior poder de predição de suporte organizacional na ocorrência da síndrome. Suporte social emocional, tempo de trabalho na instituição, idade e carga horária foram preditores, mas com menor destaque. Recomendam-se estudos em amostras de outras regiões do país bem como estudos longitudinais.
