Abstract

Nous présentons notre travail de transposition de la Théorie Anthropologique du Didactique au domaine du français langue de scolarisation et montrons comment elle nous a conduit à l’élaboration de trois Organisations Praxéologiques Linguistiques (OPL). Ces OPL permettent à leur tour de reconsidérer la définition des compétences et de construire un référentiel de compétences. L’ensemble sert de moteur à l’adaptive learning dans le cadre du développement d’un assistant pédagogique basé sur l'intelligence artificielle à destination des enseignants et des élèves de l’école primaire pour l’enseignement-apprentissage du français. We present our work on the transposition of the Anthropological Theory of Didactics to the field of French as a language of instruction and show how it has led us to the development of three Linguistic Praxeological Organizations (LPOs). These LPOs in turn make it possible to reconsider the definition of a skill and build a skills referential. The set serves as a basis for adaptive learning as part of the development of a pedagogical assistant based on artificial intelligence aimed for teachers and primary school students for the teaching and learning of French. Abstract

International audience; This paper examines the structure of relationships among the major Internet service providers in order to better understand the industrial organization and interconnection strategies of these providers. We show that the network of Internet services providers exhibits a small world structure that facilitates cooperation between them (small world structure yields efficiency in terms of coordination and communication). However, the topology of the Internet is characterized by some instability related to the intense competition occurring among providers on the regional markets. Finally, we show that interconnection decisions depend on asymmetry effects, network externalities and geographical proximity.

Abstract

The World Trade Center attack has shed light on the urgent need to implement preventing measures against terrorism and to enhance cooperation in the global security system for all countries. However, international coordination cannot be taken for granted. It is often ineffective and likely to fail for several reasons. Perhaps the more prominent reason to explain failure in coordination is that collective actions against terrorism may suffer from the well-known free riding problem. In this paper we experimentally investigate cooperation dilemma in counterterrorism policies by measuring to what extent international deterrence policy may suffer from free riding. In our game, contributions to the group account do not aim to increase the production of the public good but instead seek to decrease the probability that a stochastic event destroys the good. A country could choose to free ride by investing nothing in the international deterrence policy and instead invest all its resources in its own national protection or even choose to ignore totally terrorism by investing on alternative projects. We also look at the effects of institutions that allow sanctioning and rewarding of other countries to facilitate coordination on deterrence policy. We find that, in absence of institutional incentives and after controlling for risk aversion, most of countries defect by investing very weakly in collective actions against terrorism while largely investing to protect themselves. In contrast, the introduction of punishment/reward incentive systems improves significantly the contribution level to the collective security account. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
