Annotation. Introduction. The article investigates the current state and specifics of the functioning of beach tourism in Ukraine. It is proved that the beach tourism sphere, apart from purely economic ones, performs a whole range of other functions, significantly influencing the overall state of development of the respective region. In the article a comparative inter-regional analysis of the resort destination of Ukraine is conducted, the indicators of efficiency of the sphere of resort tourism according to the regional distribution of inland and inbound tourists are considered. Purpose. The purpose of the study is to analyze the current state and specificity of the development of beach tourism in Ukraine. In the process of research it is necessary to take into account the nature of the influence of external and internal factors on the process of organization of this area of recreational activity. Results. It is proved that in all regions with developed beach tourism per 1000 people of the regional population the number of tourists decreased. The largest loss of tourists was 58% of holidaymakers in Zaporizhzhya region. It is noted that the emergence of a significant amount of alternative domestic tourism in the area of greater temperature comfort or better organized beach holidays abroad, led to more active activities to improve the level of service and infrastructure. The degree of sensitivity of demand to changes in the price of tourist services in different regions of the resort destination of Ukraine is substantiated. It is proved that high dependence on seasonal cyclicality of demand for beach tourism of Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions has provoked in recent years a considerable increase of capital investments in collective accommodation facilities, but in absolute value their size is much lower than similar investment in Odessa region. The results of the comparison of the values of the coefficients of elasticity of demand for tourism product with the indicators of the specific size of capital investment in the industry established a clear relationship between the two parameters. The formation of inelastic demand in Zaporizhzhya, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions motivates the rise in price of tourist services, which causes a decrease in the flow of organized tourism, low activity of investors, stimulation of the development of the shadow market of tourist services (personal economy) Conclusions. It is emphasized that parallel development of cultural and cognitive tourism should be one of the priority tasks of the tourism industry in these regions. The existence of a high level of investment attractiveness for attracting financial resources in the field of regional tourism is substantiated. It is noted that without systemic state support, the infrastructure component of the tourism industry of Ukraine cannot develop, the quality and accessibility of hospitality and tourism services can be improved, and the brand Ukraine - European Tourist Country will be promoted to the world market.

International audience; Avis HCSP du 27 mai 2020: En prévision de leur réouverture dans le contexte de l’épidémie Covid-19, le HCSP a examiné les mesures barrières et de distanciation physique à respecter dans les lieux d’hébergement collectif. Le cas des navires de croisières n’est pas traité dans cet avis.Le HCSP a pris en considération les recommandations et guides professionnels disponibles en France et à l’étranger dans les secteurs de l’hôtellerie et de l’hôtellerie de plein air.Dans la situation épidémiologique et le contexte existant au moment de la publication de son avis, le HCSP recommande que chaque responsable de lieu d’hébergement désigne un référent Covid-19 ou assume, le cas échéant lui-même cette responsabilité. Le HCSP recommande également que les responsables de ces établissements formalisent, pour leur établissement, des règles de prévention adaptées à l’établissement en prenant en considération la notion de groupe social (personnes séjournant ensemble dans l’établissement). Ces règles devront respecter les préconisations relatives aux mesures barrières de l’avis du HCSP du 24 avril 2020.Dans le cas où tout un groupe séjourne ensemble, des sous-groupes (maximum 10 personnes, encadrants compris) pourront être déterminés avec pour principe général d’appliquer les mesures barrières en prenant en considération les individus ou ces sous-groupes, en fonction des situations. Les possibilités d’interactions entre sous-groupes seront réduites, en organisant les activités et l’utilisation des lieux communs en fonction de ces sous-groupes.Le HCSP recommande également que les responsables d’établissement définissent l’organisation pratique permettant de respecter les mesures de prévention en tenant compte des notions de densité de population, de flux de personnes, d’espaces et de volume des locaux.Pour les lieux, par exemple des campings lors de festivals ou de pics d’activité, ou des lieux comportant des dortoirs et des salles communes, un réexamen des capacités maximales d’accueil devra être réalisé afin de vérifier qu’elles permettent le respect des mesures barrières.Le HCSP recommande que les personnes portent, dans les espaces intérieurs, un masque grand public conforme, propre, et correctement mis à l’entrée, pendant les déplacements et aux abords immédiats de l’établissement. Dans les espaces extérieurs, ou sous abri des campings, le port du masque n’est requis que lorsque le respect de la distance de sécurité est incertain.Il est recommandé d’attendre une demi-journée, avec une aération maximale, pour relouer une chambre ou un logement et de porter ce délai à 72 h si l’occupant précédent a été un cas suspect ou avéré de Covid-19.D’autres recommandations sont émises concernant la communication et l’information du public, le comportement et la circulation des personnes hébergées, la gestion de l’environnement, la protection des professionnels et des intervenants et la gestion des cas de Covid-19 en hébergement collectif.

The urgent issue for Vinnytsia region is the proper adaptation of natural territories, cultural heritage sites for tourists, construction of appropriate infrastructure, information support. These steps will lead to the formation of a positive image of Vinnytsia region, provide incentives for its sustainable development. The impact of tourism on the development of other sectors of economy, analysis of the development of hotel business enterprises, its tendencies, factors that affect functioning of the hotel industry in modern conditions, is considered in the works of many domestic and foreign scholars [2-8]. Promising directions of Vinnytsia region are: development of a network of sanatorium and resort establishments, ever raising attention to green tourism. It is necessary to pay attention to the development of tourist infrastructure, reconstruction and construction of accommodation establishments; roads condition; accessibility of tourist facilities for persons with disabilities. Objectives for the short term include: creation of a positive image of Vinnytsia region as a tourist region at the national and international levels; attraction of grants and international technical assistance; provision of training for qualified guides and others. Addressing these issues will allow optimal use of the tourism potential of the region to ensure formation of a positive national and international image; attract foreign and domestic investment, international technical assistance; to promote the development of cultural, historical, ecological, religious, pilgrimage, health tourism; to improve quality of tourist and recreational services and other opportunities. Tourism industry is gaining importance in the economy of many countries of the world including Ukraine. Promising directions for Vinnytsia region are: development of a network of sanatoriums and resorts, increasing attention to green tourism. In order to solve the problems that stand in the way of the tourism sphere development in Vinnytsia region, it is necessary to attract considerable financial resources. Successful functioning of accommodation institutions is impossible without their reconstruction and modernization, adaptation to European requirements.

Regional inequalities are a major concern for governments and policymakers. There is no doubt that tourism impacts the reduction of inequalities, but this impact is not entirely clear. We consider this ambiguity to be related to both the level of study and type of accommodation. In the present study, we examine the inequality level measured by the Gini coefficient in 108 municipalities of the peripheral region of northeastern Poland from 2009 to 2018. We employ a directional spillover index to measure the impact of two accommodation types on tax incomes per capita. The empirical results indicate that collective accommodation-based tourism only reduced inequality during the financial crisis, while individual accommodation-based tourism started to reduce inequality from 2014, when Russian sanctions hit local agriculture and businesses. These results indicate that the role of accommodation types is time-varying and evident in measuring economic distress during and after shocks.

У статті проведено статистичний аналіз готельного господарства в Україні. Досліджено динаміку структури міжнародного і внутрішнього туризму, колективних засобів розміщування, місць та розміщених в Україні. Побудовано адекватні авторегресійні моделі. Зроблено точкові прогнози розвитку колективних засобів розміщування в Україні на 2017-2018 рр. The article deals with the statistical analysis of hotel economy of Ukraine. The dynamics of the structure of international and domestic tourism, collective accommodation, places and tourists in Ukraine is studied. Adequate autoregressive models are constructed. The point forecasts for the collective accommodation development of Ukraine for 2017-2018 are made.

Starzenie się społeczeństw, stanowiące jedną z współczesnych cech procesu urbanizacji, uznawane jest za świadectwo postępu i wysokiego stopnia zaawansowania tego procesu. Jest zarazem cywilizacyjną kwestią przysparzającą wielu problemów społeczno-gospodarczych. Istotnym celem działań państwa dotyczących tej kwestii pozostaje – oprócz dążenia do społeczno-ekonomicznego uaktywniania ludności starszej wiekiem (active ageing) – czynienie mieszkania i usług towarzyszących podstawowym obszarem opieki społecznej nad osobami starszymi (ageing in place). Problemem osób starszych, zwłaszcza w miastach, bez względu na sytuację materialną, jest na ogół niechęć do zamieszkiwania w gospodarstwach zbiorowych, także w Polsce. Potwierdza to konieczność rozwoju przystosowanych dla osób starszych mieszkań i usług z zakresu infrastruktury osadniczej, pozwalających na samodzielne zamieszkiwanie. Tego typu mieszkania i usługi zaczynają dopiero powstawać w Polsce. Zamieszkiwanie w niechcianych przez starszą ludność gospodarstwach zbiorowych traktować zatem należy – mimo różnego ich typu i charakteru – jako jeden z wyznaczników ułomności współczesnej urbanizacji. W związku z tym, celem referatu jest analiza i ocena stanu oraz zmian liczby i proporcji ludności starszej znajdującej się w gospodarstwach zbiorowych w Polsce w okresie 1988-2011. Podstawą metodą badań jest analiza publikowanych danych Narodowych Spisów Powszechnych z lat 1988, 2002 i 2011, dotyczących ludności w wieku 60 i więcej lat. Aging, one of the characteristic features of contemporary urbanization, is recognised as an indication of the development and advancement of this process. But aging is also a civilization issue leading to many socio-economic problems. One important goal of the state in addressing it remains, in addition to stimulating the socio-economic activity of the elderly population (active aging), housing and related services as the primary area of social care for the elderly (aging in place). A problem that is specific to elderly persons living in urban areas, also in Poland, is that regardless of their financial status they are mostly reluctant to use collective households. This is another argument for making efforts to improve the availability of housing adapted to older persons’ needs and of housing infrastructure services that could allow them to live independent lives. This type of housing and services are only starting to be created in Poland. The fact that older people live in collective households notwithstanding their reluctance to this solution appears to be – despite the households coming in different types and forms – one of the indications of defective contemporary urbanization. The aim of the paper is to analyse and evaluate the state and changes in the number and proportion of elderly people living in collective households in Poland in the years 1988-2011. The basic research method is the analysis of the National Census data on population aged 60 and older published on years 1988, 2002 and 2011.
