Online lending is an innovation in finance that utilizes information technology to facilitate transactions between borrowers and lenders without meeting in person. While this generally goes smoothly, problems often arise if there are late payments, particularly in collection practices. Many reports mention unethical, intimidating, and unlawful collection practices, which harass consumers. This research aims to identify and analyze legal protection for criminal acts in the online loan collection process, as well as analyze the decision of the North Jakarta District Court Number 438/Pid.Sus/2020/PN Jkt.Utr. The research method used is normative legal research with a statutory approach, using literature study as a data collection technique, which is then analyzed in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that repeated billing via text messages and telephone before the due date violated the billing code of ethics in the POJK on Consumer Protection in the Financial Services Sector. In addition, POJK 10/2022 states that organizers are not allowed to make direct collections if the delay exceeds 90 days from the due date. Legal collection by debt collectors that do not comply with the rules, especially in the case of illegal online loans, can be subject to Article 45 paragraph (4) Jo Article 27 paragraph (4) of the ITE Law, Article 368 of the Criminal Code, and Article 369 of the Criminal Code. This article presents the research outcome of studies based on the screening for productivity traits of soybean's genetic and botanical collection samples, the productivity indicators of the parental forms selected for cross-breeding, analysis of the correlation between them, and heredity in the F1 species. The study results show a strong positive correlation between the number of pods per plant, the number of grains per plant, and grain weight. In contrast, the weight of 1000 grains is moderately positively correlated with the weight of grains per plant, while it displayed a weak positive and negative correlation with other species. This whitepaper examines the prevalent challenges and negative implications of using disposable absorbent product swabs for urine collection in cognitively impaired and/or frequent to fully incontinent individuals. Despite the growing use of this method in healthcare settings, it needs to be revised and or eliminated due to the high risk of contamination, leading to misdiagnoses, inappropriate antibiotic prescribing, patient discomfort, and wasteful healthcare spending. Through an analysis of the current practices, this paper highlights the need for innovative solutions prioritizing patient dignity, diagnostics accuracy, and care efficiency. Music collecting in the late eighteenth century was as much an intellectual practice as a practical one, therefore, the organization of tunes in manuscript tunebooks gives us insight into the worldviews of tunebook compilers. This article introduces some of the literature on tune collecting and categorization, and describes attempts by music historians in the twentieth century to categorize tunebooks. It shows that considering the categorization of tunes only as a practical matter ignores the intellectual function of categorization. It argues that to understand manuscript tunebooks better these sources should be approached as the product of collecting activity and not just as a by‐product of music making. An expanded methodological approach, incorporating the history of collecting, biographical methods, and material culture studies, can provide insight into how tunebook compilers used their collections to order their worlds. The recycling of bio-waste from households is an essential factor in achieving the recycling quotas for municipal waste laid down by the EU. A major problem is posed by impurities in the bio-waste collected, such as plastics, metals and glass. It is virtually impossible for compost producers to produce quality-assured compost from bio-waste with an impurity content of more than 3 wt%OS. The draft of the new Austrian Compost Ordinance stipulates a limit of 2 wt%OS of interfering substances in accepted bio-waste. A rapid measurement method has been developed and comprehensively validated for the immediate on-site checking of contaminant content at the bio-waste bin or in a vehicles. Data on the type and amount of impurities collected in the course of sorting analyses carried out over several years in 10 selected areas in Styria, Austria showed an average impurity content of 2.1 wt%OS. This impurity content can be considered representative for rural and urban communities in Austria. Among the interfering substances, plastics predominate, at 53%, of which pre-collection bags made of plastics form the highest proportion. A more detailed examination of pre-collection bags shows a higher proportion of use of biodegradable plastic bags, which have become more numerous in recent years in the more rural communities. In order to reduce mis-sorting, the effect of a wide variety of measures on citizens was tested in selected areas. Here, the distribution of paper bags as well as the threat of a cost increase due to special collections in combination with distribution of these bags were the methods with the greatest effect. The scientific world of the nineteenth century was shaped by far-reaching discoveries, expeditions, travel and collection activities as well as by the development of extensive natural scientific social networking. During the 1840s, Dominik Bilimek (1813–1884) arose as a key personality in European natural sciences, with a significant impact on the biological, geoscientific and even archaeological communities. The Bilimek collection at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna encompasses thousands of specimens and provides a large number of original labels with date, locality and companions in the field. This set of collection labels was analysed qualitatively and quantitatively with respect to its historical value to increase our knowledge about the explorer's life and his social network. The study also focuses on Bilimek's so far unknown social links, which were recovered by the processing of the collection, probably resulting in the use of these data for a social network analysis of a nineteenth-century scientific network. The traditional approach to the verification of testimony at the crime scene has currently become, to a large extent, detached from the requirements of judicial practice, not reflecting the contemporary possibilities of the technical progress and remaining isolated in certain traditional forms of implementation. Likewise, along with criminal prosecution situations specific for the activity of investigation of criminal deeds, new doctrines and fields of knowledge are continuously being consolidated, such as: forensic reconstruction, tactical operations, etc. Besides, these doctrines and areas of knowledge undoubtedly influence the tactics of verification of testimony at the crime scene. The traditional approach to the procedures for verifying testimony at the crime scene no longer allows us to fully reveal the essence of this criminal prosecution action. However, a complex analysis of the current condition of the verification of testimony at the crime scene from the positions of the criminal procedure law, forensics, forensic psychology, computer science, etc. is necessary. The foregoing justifies the selection and topicality of the study, including the relevance of the further development of a various spectrum of aspects related to the use of verification of testimony at the crime scene as an effective means of establishing the truth in criminal cases. Its representatives display a distinct distributional pattern as they are mainly spread in high altitudinal enclaves of the Northern Hemisphere, being often associated with mosses and cliff vegetation. Although their feeding habits have not been studied with experimental protocols, it is traditionally assumed that they are omnivorous. The genus Enchodelus has not been recently revised; descriptions of many 'old species' (that have been described long ago and have not been reported since their original discovery) are of poor quality, hardly discoverable and do not conform to the nowadays taxonomical standards. Thus, a comprehensive compilation and analysis of their literature data is indispensable to provide new insights into the taxonomy of the genus and to elucidate its evolutionary relationships. New information: This contribution provides a cyber catalogue of all Enchodelus species, 28 in total. It compiles available information from the key European Research Infrastructures, such as TreatmentBank, Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics Literature Services (SIBiLS), the Catalogue of Life (CoL), Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF), European Nucleotide Archive (ENA) and Biodiversity Literature Repository (BLR). Data about their distribution (geographical records and habitats) are incorporated too and all brought together. It is completed with discussion and notes for some species, along with information on species distributions and microhabitats. Here, all available information on Enchodelus species is brought together. This will contribute to a more complete assessment of species diversity and distribution and support further biogeographical and ecological research. Besides, type material Enchodelus vestibulifer Altherr, 1952, deposited in the Museo Cantonale di Storia Naturale di Lugano (Switzerland), is re-examined and the species is considered as incertae sedis. The legal norms regulating the collection, storage and processing of human genetic information are aimed at ensuring the proper conduct of genetic research procedures and protecting the participants’ rights. It is particularly important to highlight that national legislation, taking into account international practice, should provide specific methods for collecting biological material, information storage periods and features of its processing. Purpose: to identify the legal characteristics of the collection, storage and processing of genetic information, including legal issues and criteria for modernizing the legislation governing genetic information research. Methods: empirical methods of comparison, description and interpretation, formal-legal, interpreting legal norms. Results: the article considers legal aspects and characteristics of regulating the process and conditions of collection, storage and processing of genetic information; it reveals some problems encountered in genetic research, regarding the storage time of materials and confidentiality in the processing of third-party information. The authors outline ways of improvement to address them.

Extraluminal foreign bodies are rare. Fish bone is the most common foreign body ingested by adults, while coin is the most common foreign body ingested among children. Sharp pricking pain is a sign of sharp foreign body (FB) ingestion. If the symptom persists, one should keep in mind the possibility of a migratory foreign body, even if the esophagoscopy results are negative. In order to ensure that foreign bodies are not missed radiologically, there is the role of consultation from a second radiologist to correlate with the patient's symptoms. Here we present an atypical case of recurrent neck abscess due to a migrating fishbone that penetrated the left thyroid lobe and settled in the left lower third neck subcutaneous tissue within two months. The collection mechanism inside the cloud is associated with the coalescence process. It controls the rainfall rate in the presence of high moisture content and low cloud condensation nuclei concentrations. The effectiveness of the coalescence mechanism is determined by the magnitude of the coalescence efficiency. This study compared the effectiveness of six coalescence efficiencies to identify the appropriate formulation, which can simulate the cloudburst event of 10 June 2021 over Sauni Binsar, Uttarakhand, at 11:45 IST (06:15 UTC). The coalescence efficiencies have been estimated between the lifting condensation levels and freezing levels over 100 equidistance intervals, with variation in the bins of colliding droplet pairs. The comparative analysis shows that Ochs’s formulation estimated high values of coalescence efficiencies ranging between 60 and 100% for all bins of droplet diameters during the cloudburst event. The maximum values of coalescence efficiency were found to be high for small cloud droplet diameter of 1–100 µm for collector droplet diameter of 50–7000 µm. The estimates provided by Seifert and Chen and Liu were below 80%, while Low and List, Beard and Ochs estimated coalescence efficiency values of up to 70% for all-collector cloud droplet diameters and small cloud droplet diameters. However, the estimated coalescence efficiencies by Brazier–Smith formulation are very low, not exceeding 20%, for all collector cloud droplet diameters and small cloud droplet diameters. The selection of appropriate coalescence parametrization is essential for appropriately simulating rainfall intensities using microphysics parametrization during extreme weather events. Research highlights: The coalescence process plays an important role in determining rain rate, and modelling it is a challenge. Six coalescence efficiencies have been estimated for the cloud burst event of Sauni Binsar, Uttarakhand, India. The aim of the article is to analyse trends in the field of digital management of graphic archives in the context of the rapidly changing information environment, to consider issues of data security and accessibility. To raise the issue of popularising the study of the bookplate as an independent genre in the fine arts and as a historical document that attests to the era, events and people. The history of ex-libris goes back to ancient times, with the appearance of the text and its first owner. This history is multifaceted, diverse and touches on various aspects of the worldwide development of human culture. The development of bookplate collecting and the study of bookplates dates back to the Middle Ages, from which time we can trace the history of the transformation of the bookplate from a bookmark with a protective function to an independent art object and collector’s item. This paper examines several modern methods of organising and preserving an ex-libris collection, providing an overview of the key technologies involved in these processes, drawing on contemporary and historical research. The research results are primarily intended for use in the collections of the Pushkin Museum in Chișinău and are based on the largest ex-libris collection in the country, which includes over 15,000 items. The collection needs to be described, systematised and assigned in order to prepare it for further research and exhibitions.

The museum’s collection contains masterpieces by artists favored by the Spanish monarchs who had great intuition and refined taste, while also highlighting their supreme power. The Prado is a world leader by the intense concentration of masterpieces of European art in the museum space. The Prado has the world’s finest collection of Bosch, Patinir, Jan Brueghel the Elder, David Teniers, Rubens, Titian, Bassano and, naturally, great Spanish artists, such as El Greco, Velázquez, Ribera, Murillo, Zurbarán and Goya. The Prado’s collection is mindful and well-considered, with strong internal connections and paintings by artists who inspired one another. The placement of pictures in the rooms and the «dialogue» between the works helps to create «supraintentional» scenarios and stories. The museum’s unique and impressive metaphysical structure has developed gradually and unintentionally. The similarity between genres, themes and plots allows us to perceive the evolution of styles and the particular characteristics that define the work of genius artists. The museum’s approach to expanding its collection is intensive rather than extensive: since the beginning of the 20th century, when the museum’s Board of Trustees began to function and a team of professional curators was formed, the Prado has sought to fill the gaps in the collection and to complete the historical «blocks» of paintings, while the essence of the collection has not changed. The Prado remains «static» in time, yet it is a modern institution that continues to evolve in the creative space and successfully organize large-scale innovative projects.

The current paper has presented the study conducted in the alfalfa collection nursery on the experimental plots of the Agricultural Research Center “Donskoy” in the period from 2021 to 2023. The purpose of the study was to determine the dependence of green mass productivity of collection alfalfa samples on the morphological traits of plants. The object of the study was a collection of alfalfa, consisting of 105 samples developed created at FSBSI ARC “Donskoy”. Sowing was carried out manually, with row spacing of 20 cm. The area of the plots was 1 m2 , with double repetition. The seed-sowing rate for alfalfa was 2 g/m2 . The standard variety was ‘Rostovskaya 90’. As a result, there was revealed that over 3 years the highest mean productivity of alfalfa green mass was formed in two groups of samples according to plant height: 1) 80–85 cm – 8.10 kg/m2 (the samples ‘SGP-424’, ‘SPCh 401/2000’); 2) 105–110 cm – 7.88 kg/m2 (‘SGP-162’, ‘SGP-189’, ‘SGP-175’, etc.). This indicator of alfalfa productivity was the highest (7.81 kg/m2 ) in the optimal values of tillering (15–20 pcs.). The highest alfalfa green mass productivity was formed by the samples with foliage of 48–50 % and 42–44 %. The green mass productivity of alfalfa samples varied within the range of 3.33–10.49 kg/m2 . There have been identified 7 samples which productivity ranged from 9.09 kg/m2 to 10.49 kg/m2. There have been selected the samples that combined the highest green mass productivity with tallness and high foliage of plants, as well as the greatest leaf length and hay yields.

DNA barcoding, a molecular taxonomy technique, has been increasingly used by herptile taxonomists in recent years. In DNA barcoding studies with museum specimens, there are difficulties in achieving success in specimens that have been exposed to formaldehyde, which is usually used as a fixative, for a long time and intensively. Here we studied the effect of formaldehyde on the application of the DNA barcode method in Emys orbicularis specimens stored in 4% formaldehyde and 70% ethanol solution since 2008 and 2014. Sanger sequence analysis of tissues taken from samples stored in both ethanol and formaldehyde solution successfully yielded sequences of 623 bp. In conclusion, the use of ethanol solutions should be preferred for mid or long-term sample storage, especially in the context of molecular studies. In cases where the use of formaldehyde is unavoidable, it may be advisable to use extremely low concentrations to increase success in molecular research

The composition and concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in exhaled breath are closely related to human health and the analysis of VOCs by collecting human exhaled breath has been widely used in disease surveillance research. This article reviewed the collection, enrichment, and detection methods of exhaled VOCs, which can provide a reference for selecting appropriate technology for follow-up research. The exhaled breath collection devices mainly include sampling bags for mixed exhaled breath and biological volatile organic compound (Bio-VOC) samplers for alveolar air. The pre-enrichment equipment included thermal desorption (TD), solid-phase microextraction device (SPME), and needle trap device (NTD). The detection methods of exhaled VOCs include gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), proton transfer reaction mass spectrometry (PTR-MS), selective ion flow tube mass spectrometry (SIFT-MS), and electronic nose. At present, the collection and enrichment technology of exhaled breath is not mature yet, and its influence on the results of detection is lack of evaluation. In the future, the research on collection and enrichment technology of exhaled breath should be strengthened to further promote the application of exhaled breath in disease surveillance research.

Renal transplantation is common worldwide, with >25,000 procedures performed in 2022. Usage of prophylactic perinephric drains is variable in renal transplantation; drains are associated with risks, and there is a lack of consensus regarding benefit of routine drain placement in these patients. This meta-analysis assessed whether prophylactic drainage reduced need for reintervention postoperatively. This systematic review and meta-analysis was carried out using the Preferred Reporting Items in Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis, and prospectively registered on PROSPERO. Summary statistics for outcomes of interest underwent meta-analyses to a confidence interval (CI) of 95% and are presented as Forest Plots for Odds Ratio (OR). A systematic literature search in June 2023 revealed 1,540 unique articles across four databases. Of these, four retrospective cohort studies were selected. Metaanalysis of three studies showed no significant reduction in reintervention rate with pre-emptive drain placement, OR = 0.59 (95% CI: 0.16-2.23), p = 0.44. Meta-analysis did not show a significant reduction in perinephric collections with prophylactic drain insertion OR = 0.55 (95% CI: 0.13-2.37), p = 0.42. Finally, there is not good evidence that drain placement reduces superficial wound complications or improves 12-month graft survival. Further work is needed, including well-designed, prospective studies to assess the risks and benefits of drain placement in these patients. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aimed to examine the factors influencing presumptive tax collection in Zimbabwe. An interpretivist paradigm was adopted in this study using a qualitative research approach. Primary data were collected through virtual (online) in-depth interviews with 20 participants drawn from the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority, Civic Societies, Parliament of Zimbabwe, Informal Sector Associations and academics. Qualitative data were analysed using thematic analysis. The results of a qualitative analysis of the factors influencing presumptive tax collection in Zimbabwe show that institutional, legal and regulatory frameworks as well as governance and political factors significantly contribute to presumptive tax collection in Zimbabwe. The findings of this study will help ZIMRA and policymakers formulate policy strategies to promote presumptive tax collection and voluntary tax compliance in Zimbabwe. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Collection has become a significant form of consumption in consumers' lives. However, to date, our understanding of the downstream behaviors associated with collection consumption remains limited. Could collection have a more extensive impact on consumers' subsequent behaviors? Across four experiments and one field study, results indicate that adopting a collection mindset can shift consumers' perceptions of price changes, influencing their subsequent consumption. This effect arises, because when consumers possess a collection mindset, they lean towards hedonic (as opposed to utilitarian) evaluations of objects. Consequently, such consumers are less sensitive to price fluctuations, leading them to spend more in subsequent unrelated purchases. Furthermore, two studies demonstrate that the influence of collection consumption on price sensitivity is moderated by the nature of the collection and consumers' motivations for collecting. The article explores the collection of root and tuber crop germplasm in the Southern districts of Assam, India. The study observes the diversity of tuber crops like yam, taro, sweet potato, xanthosoma, tapioca and arrow root. It examines factors to the declining trend in production and number of varieties including displacement by other crops, drought, short shelf life, shortage and non-availability of planting material, limited knowledge among youth, and susceptibility to pests and diseases.

Inadequate and inappropriate e-waste management in developing African countries is harmful to human beings and to the environment. This paper offers a South African industry point of view of four stakeholder groups active in managing e-waste from household consumers. Data were collected via semi-structured interviews with 20 participants representing environmental specialists; governmental bodies; recycling/disposal entities responsible for collection and recycling, and supply chain members producing, distributing, and retailing. ATLAS.ti was used to analyse the transcribed interviews. Industry views and several practical recommendations for effective e-waste recycling and collection from household consumers were offered. A growing amount of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) indicates the need to verify the effectiveness of its management both nationally and globally. An analysis of the WEEE economy in Poland conducted over 5 years confirmed a 16.64% increase in the mass of collected equipment. The maximum annual mass of electrical and electronic equipment introduced to the market during this period was 607,240 Mg, with the average value exceeding 500,000 Mg. The WEEE category with the largest collected mass was waste code 20 01 36, which exceeded 235,000 Mg, whilst the highest waste weight accumulation rate of 45.98 kg per capita was recorded in one of the smallest voivodeships in Poland. This result showed the diversity of WEEE accumulation on a national scale. Overall, a noticeable increase in the WEEE accumulation rate has occurred as Poland's gross domestic product has increased, despite a decreasing population. An analysis based on the waste accumulation indicators, including socioeconomic factors, confirmed the need to develop forms of WEEE recovery and recycling to transition to a circular economy and promote the synergy of activities amongst all players in WEEE management. The Municipal programs of Tax Incentive seek in their implementations to increase the collection of the Tax on Services of Any Nature (ISSQN), promote tax citizenship and reduce tax evasion. The program Nota Londrina was established in 2015 by Municipal Law nº 12.348, in order to encourage the population of Londrina to request the Service's Tax Note (NFS).The program Nota Curitibana was created by Municipal Law nº 102/2017, with the main objective of increasing the collection of ISSQN.Through Law nº 13.953/2021, the ISS Awarded Program was instituted in the city of Ponta Grossa, with the objective of increasing the collection of ISSQN, without increasing rates. The objective of the research is describing how these tax incentive programs were implemented, how their developments were and to verify if there was an increase in the emission os Service's Tax notes was. In this way, we verified the factors that led the other cities not to implement them. The methodology applied characterizes as descriptive, bibliographical and documental research, of qualitative nature. The period analyzed was from 2014 to 2020.For data analysis, two structured interviews were used and data collected from the programs' websites. The analysis indicated that 1% of the state of Parana has active tax incentive programs. Background: Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is considered as the last treatment option in many life-threatening diseases. The number of donated cells can affect transplantation success. This study attempted to investigate the relationship between the health-promoting lifestyle of allogeneic stem cell donors and the number of donated CD34+ and CD3+ cells. Materials and Methods: The study was a descriptive correlational study in which 100 peripheral blood stem cells donors participated. A demographic form and health-promoting lifestyle profile-II questionnaire were distributed to participants, and then cell separation was started. Afterward, the results of CD34 + and CD3 + cell counts, as well as other clinical parameters of the participants, were recorded. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive and analytical statistical methods . Results: The results showed that the mean total health-promoting lifestyle profile score for hematopoietic stem cell donors was 2.876±0.461. There was no significant relationship between the health- promoting lifestyle score and the number of CD34+, CD3+ cells and CD3+/CD34+ ratio. A positive and significant correlation was found between the weight of the donors and the number of CD34+ (P < 0.001) and CD3+ cells (P = 0.001). The number of CD34+ cells was significantly different between women and men (P = 0.009). Conclusion: Lifestyle had no significant effect on the number of CD3+/CD34+ cells. Moreover, the number of CD34+ cells was significantly higher in men, so males should be preferentially recruited as donors for the HSCT procedure. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This systematic review examines the available clinical data on CD34+ cell mobilization, collection, and engraftment in multiple myeloma patients treated with the anti-CD38 monoclonal antibodies daratumumab and isatuximab in clinical trials and in real life. Twenty-six clinical reports were published between 2019 and February 2024. Most studies documented lower circulating CD34+ cells after mobilization compared to controls, leading to higher plerixafor requirements. Although collection yields were significantly lower in approximately half of the studies, the collection target was achieved in similar proportions of daratumumab- and isatuximab-treated and nontreated patients, and access to autologous stem cell transplant (ASCT) was comparable. This could be explained by the retained efficacy of plerixafor in anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody-treated patients, while no chemotherapy-based or sparing mobilization protocol proved superior. Half of the studies reported slower hematopoietic reconstitution after ASCT in daratumumab- and isatuximab-treated patients, without an excess of infectious complications. While no direct effect on stem cells was observed in vitro, emerging evidence suggests possible dysregulation of CD34+ cell adhesion after daratumumab treatment. Overall, anti-CD38 monoclonal antibodies appear to interfere with CD34+ cell mobilization, without consistently leading to significant clinical consequences. The fungarium was collected by Jerzy Wojciech Szulczewski in the Wielkopolska region in Western Poland in 1909–1911, 1928, and 1960–1966 (nine volumes). It includes dried plant specimens with disease symptoms of fungal origin and is currently located in the POZ Herbarium (Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland). It is one of the oldest and richest Polish collections of this category although some parts were destroyed or lost after the Second World War. Many of the sheets have original annotations by the author and hand-written labels with both plant and fungus names. A checklist of all species is presented in the appendix. The article is devoted to the understanding and scientific and theoretical analysis of the peculiarities of the implementation and protection of the right to information in the conditions of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. It was determined that private law, despite all its focus on the maximum provision of personal freedom, including freedom in the exercise of rights, the admissibility of limiting a person in the exercise of these rights solely on the grounds and in the manner determined by law, recognizes not only the admissibility of such restrictions, but also necessary, if the interests of national security, territorial integrity or public order require it in order to prevent riots or crimes, to protect public health, to protect the reputation or rights of other people, to prevent the disclosure of information obtained in confidence, or to maintain authority and impartiality justice. It was determined that a person has the right to confidentiality of information about himself, which is meaningfully a component of the right to respect for his private life and the right to information in the context of his free receipt, use, distribution, storage and protection of information necessary for the realization of his rights, freedoms and legitimate interests. Content-wise, the latter can be information in the field of science, nature, politics, culture and art, sports, finance, leisure, business and economy, etc. It was concluded that the prohibition of censorship under Art. 15 of the Constitution of Ukraine forces to carefully resolve the issue of balance between censorship and restriction of the right to information in the conditions of martial law, which forces the Law to determine the grounds, procedure and procedure for restricting a person’s right to information. It was concluded that the list of information with limited access, determined by the Order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine No. 73 of 03.03.2022, regarding the prohibition of the dissemination of information, the disclosure of which could lead to the enemy becoming aware of the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of the defense forces, negatively affect the course of performing tasks as assigned during the legal regime of martial law must be depersonalized, because the specified order is aimed at streamlining relations between representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and journalists. Off‐grid solar systems provide clean and affordable energy sources. Adoption of off‐grid Solar energy is becoming increasingly popular in Kenya as a source of renewable energy, with an estimated 10 million people using off‐grid solar power systems as of the end of year 2022. However, the rising off‐grid solar systems technology uptake comes with a growing amount of solar e‐waste, which can have harmful environmental and health effects if not managed properly. Current data on the exact amount of solar e‐waste being generated in Kenya is unavailable and this amount will continue to rise with the expiry of many of these off‐grid solar systems lifespans. This study through stakeholder's workshop and document review data collection and analysis approaches, established that Kenya just like many countries in the Global South has a robust general waste policy and regulation management framework. However, it lacks specific policies and regulations on off‐grid‐solar electronic waste management a challenge that many countries in the Global North have made considerate steps in addressing. In addition, there is a lack of awareness of the hazardous nature of off‐grid solar systems' e‐waste components to both consumers and institutions of governance. There is a lack of adequate infrastructure and sufficient systems for off‐grid solar e‐waste management in the country. Enforcement and implementation challenges of the existing general waste regulations due to limited resources and capacity and corruption culture are major impending factors. This calls for the development of effective policies and regulations to ensure sustainable off‐grid solar e‐waste management in Kenya against the backdrop of the rising uptake of off‐grid solar systems. The protection of biological diversity in nature and in agriculture, including the production of ornamental crops, has become increasingly important in Poland as well as worldwide. The Convention on Biological Diversity, signed in 1992 at the Earth Summit of the UN in Rio de Janeiro and ratified by the Polish government in 1995, imposed new regulations related to the protection of nature and the genetic resources of cultivated crops in Poland. The conservation of the genera, varieties and cultivars of ornamental geophytes—a group of plants of great interest from a botanical and physiological, but also a horticultural point of view—takes place in situ (both in nature and in the places of cultivation) and through the establishment of ex situ gene banks and collections. The natural genetic resources of ornamental geophytes include species from the genera Allium, Fritillaria, Gladiolus, Iris, Leucojum, Lilium and Muscari, among others, and more than a dozen species are protected by law due to varying degrees of threats. Botanical gardens play an essential role in the conservation of endangered species. Their activities focus on genus monitoring, managing ex situ gene banks (including National Collections), developing propagation methods and carrying out their reintroduction. In order to protect the national genetic resources of cultivated plants, the National Centre for Plant Genetic Resources at the Plant Breeding and Acclimatisation Institute—National Research Institute, under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, was established. Concerning ornamental geophytes, the National Centre coordinates two field collections of cultivars of the genera Gladiolus, Lilium, Narcissus and Tulipa, which are of great economic importance and have a long tradition of breeding in Poland. The first one is located at the National Institute of Horticultural Research in Skierniewice (central Poland), and the second one is at the Experimental Substation of Variety Testing in Lisewo (northern Poland). The history of tulip collections in Poland dates back to the 1960s. At that time, the first breeding work for this species began. The collection of bulbous crops in Skierniewice is currently one of the largest in Poland, with a total of 934 accessions. Most of them are tulips (522) and lilies (222). Other plants in the collection in Skierniewice are gladiolus and narcissus. The most valuable accessions are grown under special protection (tunnels with dense nets) to guard against insects and maintain a mild climate inside. The genetic resources of the ornamental bulb plant collection in Lisewo currently consist of 611 accessions, mainly tulips (358), daffodils (121) and gladioli (132). All bulbous crops in both collections (Skierniewice and Lisewo) are grown in accordance with all principles of agrotechnics (negative field selection, fertilisation, soil maintenance). A particularly important task of botanical gardens, universities, research institutes and the National Centre is leading research on the methods of storage for survival organs, in vitro cultures and cryopreservation. We have discovered that the various activities for the species conservation of ornamental geophytes require a great deal of constantly deepening knowledge and extraordinary measures, including frequent monitoring of the effects of the applied measures. Humans are biased in their preferences for animals, and this may impact the composition of zoological collections. We assessed which kinds of animals the public and zoo professionals want to preserve in zoos for the future and analyzed these lists for previously identified biases and agreement across surveyed groups. We also characterized agreement among the surveyed groups on the roles of zoos and the composition of animal collections. We surveyed people who live in the United States, members of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), and AZA zoo and aquarium directors. There was agreement among surveyed groups on the roles of zoos, though some differences existed. Zoo professionals and the public generally agreed on the emphasis on various categories of animals for zoo collections, though some differences were noted. We found evidence of bias towards mammals, charismatic megafauna, and felids across all surveyed groups. Agreement was high between AZA members and directors and moderate between zoo professionals and the public. These results indicate that these groups are generally in agreement about the roles of zoos, how they should compose their animal collections, and what animal species, in particular, should be kept in zoos for the future, allowing zoos to compose their collections to maximize delivery on their mission goals as well as address the preferences of the public. This article reviews recent literature related to electronic waste (E-waste) processing. The extraction of precious metals is shown as the main economic driver of E‑waste processing. The study methodology is based on collecting and analyzing statistical data and performing comparative analytical methods. The theoretical aspect is based on a critical analysis of the research of Russian and international authors. This article highlights the current pyro-, hydro-, and biometallurgical processing methods used for extraction of precious metals from E‑waste. A comparative analysis of known technologies for E‑waste processing is performed; their advantages and disadvantages are shown to achieve a cleaner waste disposal process. The technological and environmental aspects of E‑waste processing, as well as the effect of toxic substances and harmful components in E‑waste processing, have been subjected to a detailed analysis. According to the analysis results, existing technologies must be revised for a comprehensive solution to environmental problems. The increasing E‑waste formation demonstrates the necessity of new approaches and the development of innovative technologies for E‑waste processing. The use of E‑waste as an additional source of raw materials to produce precious and other valuable metals seems very promising. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Mexico generates specific phytosanitary regulations for each product and origin to prevent the entry of quarantine pests and/or delay their spread within the national territory, including fungi and oomycetes. Phytosanitary regulations are established based on available information on the presence or absence of these pathogens in the country; however, the compilation and precise analysis of reports is a challenging task due to many publications lacking scientific rigor in determining the presence of a taxon of phytosanitary interest in the country. This review evaluated various studies reporting the presence of plant pathogenic fungi and oomycetes in Mexico and concluded that some lists of diseases and phytopathogenic organisms lack technical-scientific basis. Thus, it highlights the need and presents an excellent opportunity to establish a National Collection of Fungal Cultures and a National Herbarium for obligate parasites, as well as to generate a National Database of Phytopathogenic Fungi and Oomycetes present in Mexico, supported by the combination of morphological, molecular, epidemiological, pathogenicity, symptom, and micrograph data. If realized, this would have a direct impact on many future applications related to various topics, including quarantines, risk analysis, biodiversity studies, and monitoring of fungicide resistance, among others. Collections are the primary sources of classical Turkish literature research. A significant part of the transfer of knowledge of classical Turkish literature, which spans 600 years, has been thanks to collections. Poetry and lyric collections, whose manuscript collections are discussed, also constitute one of the working areas of literary researchers. Reading this book with academic interest and transferring it to today's alphabet sheds light not only on the field of literature, but also on many areas such as the language characteristics, social life, maqam, rhythm and lyric preferences of the period in which the collection was written. With this feature, collections have an important place in the history of Classical Turkish Poetry and Turkish music. At the same time, the literary and musical tastes of the period, which are dominant in the collections, sometimes enter the space. The Systematic Classification of Collections Project undertakes an important task in reintroducing the collections that contain this versatile knowledge into both the academic database and the present day after they are read. Lyrics collection registered in the National Library number A4724, protected within the scope of this project. Periodic language features were not followed in the transcription method. Where there are letters with vowels and spellings different from the main source of the work, they are converted into main sources in footnotes. The data obtained as a result of examining the lyrics collection, which is the subject of the study, is presented and the collection is introduced. Data such as the maqams specified in the lyrics, the names of the lyrics, the meter of the lyrics, the details recorded in the updated lyrics are statistically presented in tabular form. The lyrics of 50 composers who can be identified in the collection consisting of 105 pages are arranged according to the MESTAP table. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract Asteraceae is highly diverse in the Atlantic Forest, especially in montane environments. The early-diverging tribes within Asteraceae are of particular interest because of their great representation in Brazil and unique features within the family. Thus, a floristic inventory and systematic treatment of these basal grade in Caparaó National Park, an important remnant of Atlantic Forest that has been highlighted for its diversity and endemism, were undertaken. The study was conducted by examining specimens from representative collections of Caparaó and a field expedition. A total of 15 species were found, representing six genera and four tribes, with Mutisieae and Nassauvieae being the most representatives. Six of the species have restricted distributions, either to Brazil (3 spp.), the Atlantic Forest (2) or Caparaó mountain (Mutisia lutzii). Three new records were documented for the park, namely Chaptalia integerrima, Moquiniastrum polymorphum and Mutisia coccinea. Floristic inventories and systematic treatments can make great contributions to science by bringing a better understanding our biodiversity and providing relevant information about flora for the conservation of priority areas.

Background There is much value to be gained by linking clinical studies and (biosample-) collections that have been generated in the context of a clinical study. However, the linking problem is hard because usually no direct references between a clinical study and an associated collection are available. Methods The BBMRI-ERIC Directory and the ECRIN Metadata Repository (MDR), already include much of the information required to link clinical studies and related sample collections. In this study, we present the work performed to find and implement those links across existing corresponding records in the two systems. The linking process between MDR studies and related collections in the BBMRI-ERIC Directory started with exploring linkage in both directions – searching the BBMRI-ERIC Directory for candidate hits to try to link with MDR records, and searching the ECRIN MDR for candidate hits to try to link with Directory collections. Thereafter, a systematic search through the BBMRI-ERIC Directory was performed. Results The investigation of linkages in both directions resulted in a limited but promising number of linkages. The results of the systematic search of the Directory identified linkage of 202 studies, spanning 284 collections. Conclusions The analysis with existing data sources indicated that links between the BBMRI-ERIC and ECRIN collections exist, but also that they would be difficult to continuously identify and maintain without a great deal of manual work which neither organisation could support. The question arises whether, in the future, systems could be put into place to make the exchange of information and the linkage of identifiers almost automatic.

The key to how the definitions in Sophist fit together is the seventh definition, the maker of false appearances. The first six definitions are a false appearance of the sophist himself, as a businessman who sells an art of disputation to rich young men. Because this is a deception, to unmask him we need to supplement the brief descriptions in Sophist from Plato’s portraits of sophists in other dialogues. This lets us see his true nature, a predatory hunter for students’ money, whose promise of political success is bait, but whose art enslaves one to the ignorance and vice of the people.
