The sub‐discipline of historical geography in Brazil, in contrast to the Anglophone and Francophone scholarship, often tends to be overlooked by the northern disciplinary history of this sub‐discipline. In Brazil, historical geography studies emerged in the 1980s as a result of personal initiatives. Nonetheless, in the last few years, distinct generations of Brazilian historical geographers have contributed to this sub‐discipline's promotion and recognition, mainly by diversifying their methodological approaches and research interests. Undoubtedly, developing transnational academic networks and collaborations represents a crucial contribution. This review provides an overview of the main Brazilian historical geographers engaged in studying past geographies. It delves into the central themes they address and also examines the academic conferences and research groups responsible for establishing institutional spaces to foster the practice of historical geography in Brazil in recent years. In doing so, the review calls for a 'polyphonic' approach to historical geography, urging the inclusion of southern sites of knowledge production and embracing a diverse scholarship beyond the English‐speaking community. The construction and operation of collaborative production networks based on multi-subject collaboration is an important path and means for enterprises to adapt to personalized, diversified, and differentiated market demand. It is of great practical significance to identify the key collaborative subjects in the collaborative network and protect and maintain them to ensure its normal operation. To identify the key collaborative subjects in the collaborative network of traditional manufacturing enterprises, this paper proposes a method for identifying and evaluating the importance of nodes in traditional manufacturing enterprise collaborative networks. Firstly, the method uses four parameters, degree centrality, betweenness centrality, closeness centrality, and subgraph centrality, as node importance evaluation indexes, based on complex network theory. Secondly, the coefficient of variation method (CVM) is used to calculate the weights of evaluation indexes. The Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM) based on the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) is then used to comprehensively evaluate node importance and identify key nodes (key collaborative subjects) in the network. Finally, the proposed method's effectiveness, rationality, and scientific nature are verified by using the measurement index of network connectivity in combination with specific enterprise cases. The results show that the failure of key nodes has a more significant impact on network connectivity. Therefore, the node importance evaluation method based on Multiple Attribute Decision Making has better performance. It helps traditional manufacturing enterprises to focus on the protection and maintenance of the key collaborative subjects when coping with the competitive environment of the external market and provides a valuable reference for the normal operation of collaborative network organizations. This study conducts an analysis of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) applications in natural disaster prediction using a scientometric approach. The Web of Science Core Collection served as the primary data source, yielding 38,456 records spanning from 2003 to 2022. The analysis concentrated on highly influential research, defined by papers garnering 100 or more citations, resulting in a final set of 1,637 publications. VOSviewer software facilitated the exploration of collaboration patterns among authors, institutions, and countries, along with the identification of emerging research topics and the most impactful articles. These highly cited papers were distributed across various sources (625). A total of 443,502 citations were counted, with an average of 270.92 citations per document. Interestingly, the average annual citation growth rate exhibited a negative trend (-1.02%), suggesting a potential shift in citation patterns over time. The average document age of 6.9 years indicates that the majority of the research is relatively recent. Collaboration emerges as a prominent feature within the field, with an average of 5.09 co-authors per document and 46.55% of collaborations being international. This underscores the collaborative nature inherent in research within this domain. Scholarly articles (1263) represent the predominant document type, followed by reviews (323), indicative of the field's solid foundation in peer-reviewed literature. The study's findings hold significant implications for future research and practical applications, identifying gaps in the literature and underscoring the necessity for further exploration in developing AI and ML models tailored to specific types of natural disasters, as well as assessing these models in real-world scenarios. International collaboration and interdisciplinary approaches are highlighted as pivotal components in advancing this critical field. While providing valuable insights, this approach acknowledges limitations associated with its focus on highly cited papers and a single database. Future research could address these limitations by incorporating additional databases, employing broader search criteria, and utilising alternative methodologies to attain a more comprehensive understanding of the evolving research landscape. Finding approaches to share information science research with the GLAM and university sector can prove challenging. One avenue is to develop connections between researchers and information professionals through sharing ongoing research to initiate ideas and concepts to benefit current practice. At present, there is a distance between information professionals as the experts in their field; researchers, whose research is perceived to be rarely accessible; and communities, who often distrust GLAM and university institutions. Researchers collaborating with marginalised communities develop empathy and knowledge which can prove valuable to information professionals seeking to develop connections, not only with the communities but with other like-minded professionals. It is through working together to develop these relationships and share our knowledge that we can initiate changes to current practices to make them more sustainable and our cultural heritage collections more inclusive and diverse. In this study, we share our experience to highlight the benefits of developing collaborations between researchers and information professionals to facilitate connection-building across the sector and with marginalised communities. Mountains cover 24% of the land surface area and are home to 12% of the population of the world. The mountains within the Indian Himalayan region account for 16.2% (500, 000 km2) of India's total land area and while there is an age-old tradition of biodiversity conservation in this region, the area is under stress due to human population growth and climate change. Therefore, this region requires conservation management activities, however, our study has shown a substantial decrease in publications in this area between 2004 and 2019. In this study, we completed a bibliometric analysis to explore biodiversity protection in the Himalayas. The analysis revealed valuable information regarding current research trends as well as research gaps. This study uses bibliometric analysis to examine the changing landscape of biodiversity protection in the Himalayas. The study analysed 425 journal papers published from 2004 to 2023. This article contributes to understanding studies on Himalayan management challenges, including endangered species conservation, environmental protection, ecosystem dynamics, and conservation management. We hope this paper inspires scientists to complete research in the areas lacking data such that a baseline can be established and policies can be developed to support biodiversity conservation in the Indian Himalayas. Abstract Background A maturity matrix can be a useful tool for organisations implementing large-system transformation (LST) initiatives in complex systems. Insights from implementation of a local LST initiative using collaborative networks, known as Alliances, highlighted a tool was needed to help health system leaders prompt discussions on how and where to focus their change efforts. In the New Zealand (NZ) health system, Alliances were introduced to integrate the planning and delivery of health care between primary and hospital care. Methods The aim of this research was to use insights from Alliance members to develop a learning tool that collaborative networks could use to assess and improve their readiness for change. We constructed a maturity matrix using the knowledge of senior NZ health system leaders, in a workshop setting. The maturity matrix was empirically tested and refined with three Alliances and with feedback from the NZ Ministry of Health Māori Health Strategy and Policy team. Results The maturity matrix described the 10 key elements that had been found to support successful implementation of LST initiatives in the NZ health system, along with success indicators and different stages of maturity from beginning to excellence. Testing of the maturity matrix with three Alliances suggested that it functioned as a learning tool and stimulated collective thinking and reflection. The Māori Health Strategy and Policy team commented on the importance of such a tool to increase health system leaders’ responsiveness to improving Māori health outcomes. Comparisons with similar international matrices revealed common elements with ours. A strength of our maturity matrix is that it is specific to the NZ context and is the first practical tool to implement large-scale change in the health system that incorporates principles of the Government’s treaty with Māori, the indigenous people of NZ. Conclusions Through a regular self-assessment process, use of the maturity matrix may create feedback loops to support deliberate learning and knowledge sharing for senior health system leaders and collaborative networks. This study focuses on the inclusion of secondary school students in Greece, who belong to the spectrum of autism. Its purpose is to achieve the removal of the exclusion of children with autism and their inclusion. With reference to the methodology followed, first the differentiation between integration and inclusion is highlighted and then each method is listed separately. Teaching in informal learning environments enhances cooperation and social interaction of students with autism with typical students and thus they stop feeling marginalized. The reformation of school leadership combined with the role of mentors helps to train teachers in autism issues so that effective intervention plans can be followed for each case. Also, the development of small internal networks of cooperation between the students signals the development of communication of students with autism with all their classmates, as they are development of small internal networks of cooperation between the students signals the development of communication of students with autism with all their classmates, as they are called to exchange knowledge, ideas and reflections in order to respond to a common purpose. In the results we observe that removing the deficit of social interaction of students with autism makes them feel equal members in the school community and through daily representations their behavior is determined and their thinking is organized in logical steps, so their impulsivity is also controlled. At the same time, they are trained to understand their effects on their classmates and their emotional perception is improved. We concluded that the attention patterns and academic performance of these students can be affected by a variety of classroom settings, such as visualization. Visual organization promotes structured teaching and has emerged as one of the most appropriate approaches for the educational inclusion of children with autism. Among the recommendations is the creation of differentiated teaching towards students with autism, depending on the particularities of each one. Differentiated teaching combined with changing teachers' attitudes towards inclusion lead to a deeper and more complete understanding of inclusive education practices. It was also suggested that educators should dispute established practices, proposing new ones that reflect the provision of equal opportunities in learning, but taking into account the diversity of each student who falls under the spectrum of autism. Purpose: Collaboration among organizations offering sexual health and youth development services has the potential to provide youth with effective sexual health support. However, formally structured efforts (eg, coalition formation) may be impractical or unsuitable for low-income communities where resources are often already limited. Social network theories provide an alternative approach for building collaborative organizational networks. Approach: Research aims to evaluate the barriers and facilitators to collaboration in sexual health organizational networks. Setting: Organizations in low income, urban, communities in Chicago and San Francisco that serve African American adolescents. Participants: Providers (n = 22) from organizations that offer sexual health services and youth development services. Methods: Focus groups (n = 4) were conducted and analyzed utilizing a combination of coding strategies. Results: Barriers to collaboration included resource limitations and competition, differences in organizational roles and deliverables, and prejudice and stigma. Identifying common ground among organizations was found to be a facilitator to collaboration. Social network concepts in conjunction with study findings lead to the development of a practice model that hypothesizes a pathway for organizations to improve collaboration without formally structured efforts. Conclusion: Our findings offer ways to encourage collaboration among organizations that support youth sexual health in low-income, urban, African American communities without relying on formal structures. Using CiteSpace6.2.6 visual analysis software and literature statistical analysis method, this paper selects 424 academic journal literature data from CNKNO.cn database to systematically organize and analyse the current literature related to education digital transformation in China, taking cooperation network and theme evolution of education digital transformation as the research object. First, through the construction of literature knowledge map, it reveals the cooperation network structure and key nodes in the field of education digital transformation. Secondly, through the theme evolution analysis, the paper discusses the development context and hot topics of education digital transformation research. It is found that in the field of digital transformation of education, the density and tightness of cooperation network are increasing, and the cooperation relationship between domestic research institutions is getting closer and closer. At the same time, the evolution of the theme shows a trend of transferring from basic theoretical exploration to applied practice, and the content covered is gradually rich and diverse. This study provides an important reference for in-depth understanding of the development trend and key issues of education digital transformation, and also provides useful enlightenment for future research directions. Objective: To contribute to the expansion of crowdfunding strategies' efficiency by incorporating the perspective of a collaborative network in financing the startup's initial operation. The study focused on investigating crowdfunding as a network with a collaborative culture and management. Methodology: A literature review was conducted to identify conceptual convergences between crowdfunding and collaborative networks. The aim was to assess the potential improvement of crowdfunding strategies by understanding the process as a collaborative network. Relevance/Originality: The article presents an innovative and additional approach to crowdfunding strategy by conceptualizing and operationally supporting its design and management as a collaborative network. Results: The study provides a consistent conceptual comparison between crowdfunding and collaborative network dimensions, identifying the theoretical convergence between the two. As a result, it indicates the viability of collaborative networks as a relevant theoretical contribution to building and managing crowdfunding campaigns. Theoretical and Methodological Contributions: The research offers (a) consistent evidence of conceptual compatibility between the studied constructs and (b) proposes a research agenda with potential research questions for future studies based on the convergence between crowdfunding for startups and collaborative networks.

Abstract Background This research delves into the complexity management of collaborative networks and interorganizational systems in the health innovation ecosystem on the basis of a best practice in the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) crisis. The objective is to offer specific solutions and guidelines to stakeholders in the health innovation ecosystem to control the chaos resulting from unexpected events along the ecosystem development and evolution path. Methods For this purpose, the performance of the Health Innovation Ecosystem in Iran (the Every Home is a Health Base plan) has been examined through a detailed and in-depth analysis of events and actions taken using documents, reports and interviews with experts. The practical application of chaos and complex adaptive system features (adaptation, time horizons, edge of chaos, sensitivity to initial conditions, state space and strange attractors) is introduced to identify and manage the transition from a state where the health innovation ecosystem is on the edge of chaos and prone to failure. Data were collected through studying documents, reports and interviews with experts, and then analysed using qualitative content analysis techniques, open and axial coding and metaphors derived from complexity and chaos theories. Results The findings indicate that to understand and embrace the complexity of the health innovation ecosystem throughout its development and evolution and manage and lead it through the edge of chaos towards successful interorganizational systems performance, it is necessary to use gap analysis to achieve consensus, establish a highly interactive governance structure with key stakeholders of the ecosystem, maintain flexibility to control bifurcations (butterfly effect), prevent transforming emergency solutions into standard routines and ensure the sustainability of the ecosystem against future threats by long-term financial security. Conclusions This research provides insights into the dynamics of complex health systems and offers strategies for promoting successful innovation through collaborative networks and interorganizational systems in the development and evolution of the health innovation ecosystem. By embracing complexity and chaos, healthcare professionals, policy-makers and researchers can collaboratively address complex challenges and improve outcomes in health network activities. The conclusion section provides guidelines for successfully managing the complexity of the ecosystem and offers suggestions for further research.

Prefabricated construction (PC) is considered to be a low-carbon construction method. Implementing prefabricated construction projects (PCPs) requires multiple industry organizations to participate and collaborate. As different PCPs are initiated and implemented, industry organizations will gradually gather into a complex and evolving collaborative network at the industry level based on specific collaboration relationships with different project backgrounds. The evolution of the collaborative network is related to how industry organizations interact with each other, and how PC-related knowledge and innovation has spread among organizations in the long term. However, the laws of network evolution and the micro effects that drive network evolution are still unknown. This study analyzes 236 prefabricated construction projects (PCPs) in Shanghai during 2015–2023, using the stochastic actor-oriented models (SAOM) method to explore how the macro structure of project-based inter-organizational collaborative networks for prefabricated construction (PC) technology implementation evolves over time, and how micro effects jointly support the evolution of the networks. The macro-level descriptive analysis of the network indicates that the collaborative network has become increasingly dense over time and continues to show a core–peripheral structure, with a small number of super-connected organizations. The micro-level SAOM analysis further reveals that the evolution of the collaborative network structure is driven by structure-based preferential attachment and geographic proximity effects, as well as attribute-based ownership similarity effect. This exploratory effort applies a network dynamics model to investigate the micro mechanism of the evolution of inter-organizational collaboration. The research results provide theoretical guidance and decision-making references for PC industry organizations to develop efficient network action strategies. Abstract Background Despite three decades of policy initiatives to improve integration of health care, delivery of health care in New Zealand remains fragmented, and health inequities persist for Māori and other high priority populations. An evidence base is needed to increase the chances of success with implementation of large-system transformation (LST) initiatives in a complex adaptive system. Methods This research aimed to identify key elements that support implementation of LST initiatives, and to investigate contextual factors that influence these initiatives. The realist logic of enquiry, nested within the macro framing of complex adaptive systems, formed the overall methodology for this research and involved five phases: theory gleaning from a local LST initiative, literature review, interviews, workshop, and online survey. NVivo software programme was used for thematic analysis of the interview, workshop, and the survey data. We identified key elements and explained variations in success (outcomes) by identifying mechanisms triggered by various contexts in which LST initiatives are implemented. Results The research found that a set of 10 key elements need to be present in the New Zealand health system to increase chances of success with implementation of LST initiatives. These are: (i) an alliancing way of working; (ii) a commitment to te Tiriti o Waitangi; (iii) an understanding of equity; (iv) clinical leadership and involvement; (v) involved people, whānau, and community; (vi) intelligent commissioning; (vii) continuous improvement; (viii) integrated health information; (ix) analytic capability; and (x) dedicated resources and time. The research identified five contextual factors that influenced implementation of LST initiatives: a history of working together, distributed leadership from funders, the maturity of Alliances, capacity and capability for improvement, and a continuous improvement culture. The research found that the key mechanism of trust is built and nurtured over time through sharing of power by senior health leaders by practising distributed leadership, which then creates a positive history of working together and increases the maturity of Alliances. Discussion Two authors (KMS and PBJ) led the development and implementation of the local LST initiative. This prior knowledge and experience provided a unique perspective to the research but also created a conflict of interest and introduced potential bias, these were managed through a wide range of data collection methods and informed consent from participants. The evidence-base for successful implementation of LST initiatives produced in this research contains knowledge and experience of senior system leaders who are often in charge of leading these initiatives. This evidence base enables decision makers to make sense of complex processes involved in the successful implementation of LST initiatives. Conclusions Use of informal trust-based networks provided a critical platform for successful implementation of LST initiatives in the New Zealand health system. Maturity of these networks relies on building and sustaining high-trust relationships among the network members. The role of local and central agencies and the government is to provide the policy settings and conditions in which trust-based networks can flourish. The Virtual Palaeosciences (ViPs) project is a collaborative initiative bringing palaeoscientists together to locate, access and share online educational resources (OERs). It began as a response to the 2020 shift to online learning when the COVID-19 pandemic curtailed field and lab work. We outline the development and initial outcomes of the project and consider future directions post-pandemic. Our initial focus was to create a searchable list of OERs (now numbers 600+). The project has also promoted co-operation across institutions and created new collaborations. It became clear that even experienced and teaching-focused educators were anxious about how to incorporate virtual materials and develop alternatives to field and laboratory work and deliver their intended learning outcomes. ViPs aim to become a "hub" for palaeoscience teaching resources. While some face-to-face teaching has returned in Higher Education, the benefits of online elements have become clear to students and educators alike. Therefore, following the pandemic, an increasing shift towards a blended delivery with greater use of OERs in palaeoscience and other disciplines is likely. Longer term, the ViPs project also seeks to increase inclusive, accessible education in the palaeosciences through the digital enhancement of provision, by supporting both users and creators of virtual teaching materials. In recent years, the manufacturing sector is going through a major transformation, as reflected in the concept of Industry 4.0 and digital transformation. The urge for such transformation is intensified when we consider the growing societal demands for sustainability. The notion of sustainable manufacturing has emerged as a result of this trend. Additionally, industries and the whole society face the challenges of an increasing number of disruptive events, either natural or human-caused, that can severely affect the normal operation of systems. Furthermore, the growing interconnectivity between organizations, people, and physical systems, supported by recent developments in information and communication technologies, highlights the important role that collaborative networks can play in the digital transformation processes. As such, this article analyses potential synergies between the areas of sustainable and resilient manufacturing and collaborative networks. The work also discusses how the responsibility for the various facets of sustainability can be distributed among the multiple entities involved in manufacturing. The study is based on a literature survey, complemented with the experience gained from various research projects and related initiatives in the area, and is organized according to various dimensions of Industry 4.0. A brief review of proposed approaches and indicators for measuring sustainability from the networked manufacturing perspective is also included. The realist logic of enquiry, nested within the macro framing of complex adaptive systems, formed the overall methodology for this research and involved five phases: theory gleaning from a local LST initiative, literature review, interviews, workshop, and online survey. NVivo software programme was used for thematic analysis of the interview, workshop, and the survey data. We identified key elements and explained variations in success (outcomes) by identifying mechanisms triggered by various contexts in which LST initiatives are implemented. Results: The research found that a set of 10 key elements need to be present in the New Zealand health system to increase chances of success with implementation of LST initiatives. These are: (i) an alliancing way of working; (ii) a commitment to te Tiriti o Waitangi; (iii) an understanding of equity; (iv) clinical leadership and involvement; (v) involved people, whānau, and community; (vi) intelligent commissioning; (vii) continuous improvement; (viii) integrated health information; (ix) analytic capability; and (x) dedicated resources and time. The research identified five contextual factors that influenced implementation of LST initiatives: a history of working together, distributed leadership from funders, the maturity of Alliances, capacity and capability for improvement, and a continuous improvement culture. The research found that the key mechanism of trust is built and nurtured over time through sharing of power by senior health leaders by practising distributed leadership, which then creates a positive history of working together and increases the maturity of Alliances. Discussion: Two authors (KMS and PBJ) led the development and implementation of the local LST initiative. This prior knowledge and experience provided a unique perspective to the research but also created a conflict of interest and introduced potential bias, these were managed through a wide range of data collection methods and informed consent from participants. The evidence-base for successful implementation of LST initiatives produced in this research contains knowledge and experience of senior system leaders who are often in charge of leading these initiatives. This evidence base enables decision makers to make sense of complex processes involved in the successful implementation of LST initiatives. Conclusions: Use of informal trust-based networks provided a critical platform for successful implementation of LST initiatives in the New Zealand health system. Maturity of these networks relies on building and sustaining high-trust relationships among the network members. The role of local and central agencies and the government is to provide the policy settings and conditions in which trust-based networks can flourish. Virtual Enterprise (VE) enables organisations to compete by strengthening their core competencies and sharing risks through collaboration. However, for manufacturing-based VE, the literature fails to provide adequate simulation-based methods for understanding the complex behaviour of the production planning step at the tactical level, known as Aggregate Production Planning or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). In this context, this paper proposes a novel System Dynamics-based model to help to understand the dynamic behaviour of S&OP in VE. Results suggest the efficiency of the proposed model, including its ability to straightforwardly make simulation-based S&OP scenarios comparisons, thus expanding the analytic decision-making capacity of managers desiring to push the limits of traditional S&OP in VE. PurposeTo explore the relevance of scientific production on glaucoma using bibliometric tools.DesignBibliographic study.ParticipantsOriginal articles published from 1900 through 2019.MethodsWe performed a search in Web of Science for documents published between 1900 and 2019. We used bibliometric indicators to explore documents production, dispersion, distribution, time of duplication, and annual growth, as characterized by Price's law of scientific literature growth, Lotka's law, the transient index, and the Bradford model. We also calculated the participation index of different countries and institutions. Finally, we explored with bibliometric mapping the co-occurrence networks for the most frequently used terms in glaucoma research.Main outcome measuresBibliometric indicators for individuals, institutions, and countries.ResultsA total of 33 631 original articles were collected from the timeframe 1900 through 2019. Price's law showed an exponential growth. Scientific production was adjusted better to exponential growth (r = 0.967) than linear growth (r = 0.755). Literature on glaucoma research increased its growth in the last 30 years at a rate of 5.1% per year with a production that doubled its size every 13.9 years. The transience index was 60.08%; this indicates that most of the scientific production is the output of very few authors. Bradford's law showed a high concentration of articles published in a small core of specialized journals. Lotka's law indicated that the distribution of authors is concentrated heavily in small producers. The United States and University of London demonstrated the highest production of original articles. Map network visualization showed the generated term map detailing clusters of closely related terms.ConclusionsGlaucoma literature has grown exponentially. A very high rate of transience was found that indicates the presence of numerous authors who sporadically publish on this topic. No evidence of a saturation point in the glaucoma literature was observed.

This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the scholarly footprint of ChatGPT, an AI language model, using bibliometric and scientometric methods. The study zooms in on the early outbreak phase from when ChatGPT was launched in November 2022 to early June 2023. It aims to understand the evolution of research output, citation patterns, collaborative networks, application domains, and future research directions related to ChatGPT. By retrieving data from the Scopus database, 533 relevant articles were identified for analysis. The findings reveal the prominent publication venues, influential authors, and countries contributing to ChatGPT research. Collaborative networks among researchers and institutions are visualized, highlighting patterns of co-authorship. The application domains of ChatGPT, such as customer support and content generation, are examined. Moreover, the study identifies emerging keywords and potential research areas for future exploration. The methodology employed includes data extraction, bibliometric analysis using various indicators, and visualization techniques such as Sankey diagrams. The analysis provides valuable insights into ChatGPT's early footprint in academia and offers researchers guidance for further advancements. This study stimulates discussions, collaborations, and innovations to enhance ChatGPT's capabilities and impact across domains.

Objective: To characterize global research on the effectiveness of drug use prevention policies, plans, programs and projects, based on the analysis of research articles published and indexed in scientific databases. Material and methods: Articles on this topic contained in the Web of Science Core Collection database were downloaded and transferred to a Microsoft Access database using a broad search profile that has already been successfully applied in other works. To characterize the scientific production, methods and indicators from the field of bibliometrics were used, as well as social network analysis. Results: The number of published articles (1266) increased, only diminished in the first years of the epidemic by Covid-19. The subject areas with the highest number of papers were Substance Abuse (435), Public Environmental & Occupational Health (394), Psychiatry (163) and Psychology Clinical (157). Articles published by institutions in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada predominated. The most studied topics were those related to alcohol abuse, smoking, opioids and cannabis. Conclusions: A progressive increase in the number of articles on the analyzed topic and institutional collaboration has been confirmed, which is indicative of its health and scientific interest. Alcoholism and smoking are the two most studied addictions in these papers, and the most frequent and most cited topics deal with prevention in adolescence, therapeutic compliance, the effectiveness of harm reduction programs and prevention from primary care. Managing networks for eco‐innovation remains a top priority in manufacturing due to industrial collaborations being the de facto mode of functioning for modern manufacturing firms. Accordingly, an awareness of critical network factors is imperative for strategies that lead to successful sustainability‐focused partnerships and profitable collaborations. This study applies a group‐based multi‐criterion decision‐making technique—the Delphi methodology—to evaluate critical network factors for eco‐innovation in manufacturing from the viewpoint of 116 experts within the triple helix, that is, university, industry and government experts. The study uniquely frames the eco‐innovation strategy challenge for manufacturing from a network perspective. Review of literature and an online survey identifies 63 network motivational, configurational and transformational factors. Subsequent polled results show heterogeneity during Delphi selection (Cochran's Q: p < 0.001) and prioritisation (Friedman's Q: p < 0.001) rounds with 'environmental concern by top management', 'innovative organisational strategies', and 'integrity norms of signed contract' as the top motivational, configurational and transformational factors. The study also discusses the theoretical and managerial implications of the study for triadic orientations and triple helix framing of eco‐innovation networks and concludes by identifying research limitations and potential future research areas.
