The cello is used in many environments where Turkish music is performed. It is necessary to obtain a certain level of technical skill in the cello to perform Turkish music. Applying technical skills according to the performance style of Turkish music requires both knowledges of the use of maqam and learning through the master-apprentice relationship. In this teaching style, the master’s attitude is transferred to the apprentice/students, while the student creates an attitude based on the master’s attitude. In this context, studies on attitude are considered important in terms of transferring the tradition to the future and maintaining the Turkish music style. İsmail Akdeniz is one of the masters involved in the representation of Turkish music cello performance. Akdeniz, who plays instruments such as the oud, violin, piano and clarinet, especially the cello, is one of the leading cello performances with her artist and educator identity. This research was carried outtoo analyze and reveal how İsmail Akdeniz performs the cello, and to determine what the characteristics of the artist’s cello performance are. In this direction, the problem sentence of the research is: “What are the behavioral characteristics of İsmail Akdeniz in the cello performance?” determined as. This research was prepared by using the descriptive survey model, one of the qualitative research methods. After the notation process of the performances that are the subject of the research, categorical contents analysis was made on the performances. After the interpretation of the analyses, the determinations regarding the cello performance style of İsmail Akdeniz, which is reflected by the Turkish music performance style in her methodical work and improvisational performances, are revealed., ÖZTürk müziğinin icra edildiği pek çok ortamda viyolonsel kullanılmaktadır. Türk müziği icra etmek için viyolonselde belirli bir düzeyde teknik beceri elde etmek gerekmektedir. Teknik becerileri, Türk müziğinin icra üslubuna göre uygulamak ise hem makam kullanımının bilinmesini hem de icra örnekleri üzerinden, usta çırak ilişkisi ile öğrenimi zorunlu kılmaktadır. Bu öğretim şeklinde ustanın tavrı çırağa/öğrencisine aktarılırken öğrenci, ustanın tavrından yola çıkarak kendi tavrını oluşturmaktadır. Bu bağlamda tavır üzerine yapılan incelemeler, geleneğin geleceğe aktarılabilmesi ve Türk müziği üslubunun devam ettirilmesi bakımından önemli görülmektedir. Türk müziği viyolonsel icrasının temsilinde yer alan ustalardan biri de İsmail Akdeniz’dir. Başta viyolonsel olmak üzere ud, keman, piyano ve klarnet gibi çalgıları da icra eden Akdeniz, sanatçı ve eğitimci kimliğiyle ön planda olan viyolonsel icracılarının başında gelmektedir. Bu araştırma, İsmail Akdeniz’in viyolonseli nasıl bir tavırla icra ettiğini analiz ederek ortaya koymak, sanatçının viyolonsel icracılığını oluşturan özelliklerin neler olduğunu belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda, araştırmanın problem cümlesi: “İsmail Akdeniz’in viyolonsel icrasındaki tavır özellikleri nelerdir?” şeklinde belirlenmiştir. Bu araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel tarama modeli kullanılarak hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmaya konu olan icraların notaya aktarma işleminden sonra, icralar üzerinde kategorisel içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Analizlerin yorumlanmasının ardından İsmail Akdeniz’in usullü eser ve irticali icrasında, Türk müziği icra üslubunun özelliklerini yansıttığı viyolonsel icra tavrına yönelik tespitler ortaya konulmuştur.

Ayvalıtohma Stream Basin is the sub-basin of Tohma Stream, which is one of the western branches of the Euphrates River. The geomorphological features of the study area between Darende- Hekimhan (Malatya) Gürün and Kangal (Sivas) were determined within the framework of field studies and geomorphological analyzes on synthetic surfaces. The study area generally consists of plateaus between Uzunyayla Plateau and Malatya Basin and deeply disssected by streams. The narrow and is deeply gorge and canyon valleys opened by Ayvalıtohma Stream connect Uzunyayla, Ayvalı-Kuluncak, Darende-Balaban depressions. These gorges and canyons, which are typically seen around Gürun, Darende, Kuluncak and buried in the karstic foundation, played an important role in the formation of the flood plains along the Ayvalıtohma Stream. The Ayvalı-Kuluncak Depression, which forms the center of the study area, has the characteristics of an intermountain basin developed in the Oligocene. Detrital deposits such as conglomerate, sandstone and mudstone, which were deposited in the Oligocene and had low erosion resistance, revealed the areas that suffered the most erosion in the basin. While these non-resistance rocks cause erosion, the thick limestones in the mountainous and plateau areas have led to the development of relatively macro karst forms, especially between the elevation of 1700-2100 m., Ayvalıtohma Çayı Havzası, Fırat Nehri’nin batıdaki kollarından olan Tohma Çayı’nın alt havzası durumundadır. Darende- Hekimhan (Malatya) Gürün, Kangal (Sivas) arasında kalan çalışma alanının jeomorfolojik özellikleri saha çalışmaları ve sentetik yüzeyler üzerinde yapılan jeomorfolojik analizler çerçevesinde belirlenmiştir. Çalışma alanı genel olarak Uzunyayla Platosu ile Malatya Havzası arasında kalan ve akarsularla derin bir şekilde yarılmış platolardan oluşmaktadır. Havzanın batısındaki Köroğlu, doğusundaki Akbabaçalı, güneyindeki Cuma Dağı gibi dağ sıraları ise bu platolar üzerinde yumuşak sırtlar halinde yükselmektedir. Ayvalıtohma Çayı, açtığı dar ve derin boğaz ve kanyon vadilerle, Uzunyayla, Ayvalı-Kuluncak, Darende-Balaban depresyonlarını birbirine bağlamaktadır. Gürün, Darende, Kuluncak dolaylarında tipik olarak görülen ve karstik temele gömülen bu boğaz ve kanyonlar, Ayvalıtohma Çayı boyunca gelişen taşkın ovalarının oluşumunda önemli bir yerel kaide seviyeyi rolü üstlenirler. Çalışma alanının merkezini oluşturan Ayvalı-Kuluncak Depresyonu ise Oligosen’de gelişmiş dağ arası havza özelliği taşımaktadır. Oligosen’de depolanan ve aşınım direnci düşük olan çakıltaşı, kumtaşı, çamurtaşı gibi detritikler havzada en fazla erozyona uğrayan alanları ortaya çıkarmışlardır. Bu dirençsiz kayalar erozyona neden olurken, dağlık ve plato sahalarındaki kalın kireçtaşı istifleri özellikle 1700-2100 m aralığında karstik şekillerin gelişmesine sebep olmuştur.

Amaç: Hayatın her alanını etkisi altına alan Covid-19 pandemisi, akademik ve sağlık hizmetlerini de derinden etkilemiştir. Daha önce pandeminin Türkiye’deki üroloji asistanlarının akademik ve sağlık hizmetleri üzerindeki etkilerine ilişkin herhangi bir değerlendirme yapılmamıştır. Biz çalışmamızda bunu değerlendirmeyi amaçladık.Gereç ve Yöntemler: Anket dört ana başlıkta (eğitim ve araştırma faaliyetleri, sağlık hizmetlerinde çalışma koşulları, sosyal-psikolojik etkiler ve kişisel sağlık) toplam 31 sorudan oluşmakta ve Temmuz-Ağustos 2020 tarihleri ​​arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Tumor necrosis factor-like weak inducer of apoptosis (TWEAK) is a member of the tumor necrosis factor super family of structurally-related cytokines. The aim of this study was to determine the diagnostic and prognostic role of serum TWEAK concentration in patients with acute pancreatitis.Twenty four patients with acute pancreatitis and 24 consecutive healthy age- and sex-matched control subjects were included in the study. The serum concentrations of TWEAK were measured at admission and then at remission. The average time between admission and remission was 7-10 days.At admission, TWEAK concentration was significantly lower in patients with acute pancreatitis compared to control subjects (p0.001). Serum TWEAK concentrations were elevated after the remission period, however the differences were not statistically significant. In addition, serum TWEAK concentration showed a significant, inverse correlation with amylase, lipase, CRP, AST, fibrinogen, LDH and a positive correlation with calcium, albumin and platelet count.Patients with acute pancreatitis have lower serum TWEAK concentration than healthy subjects. These results suggest that serum TWEAK concentration could be a potential biomarker of acute pancreatitis.

This study was designed to evaluate left ventricular (LV) diastolic functions and myocardial performance index (MPI) in obese individuals with or without metabolic syndrome (MetS).The study included 44 obese subjects with MetS (16 men; 28 women; mean age 46±7 years) and 32 obese subjects without MetS (16 men, 16 women; mean age 43±9 years). Diagnosis of MetS was based on the ATP III criteria. Obesity was defined with a body mass index (BMI) of ≥30 kg/m2. All the subjects underwent echocardiography and tissue Doppler imaging to determine LV diastolic functions and MPI. Clinical and echocardiographic characteristics of obese subjects were compared with those of a control group consisting of 21 healthy, nonobese individuals (10 men, 11 women; mean age 42±4 years).Waist circumference, weight, and BMI were similar in the two obese groups. Control subjects and obese subjects without MetS had similar systolic and diastolic blood pressures, fasting blood glucose, triglyceride, and HDL cholesterol levels, but all these significantly differed in patients with MetS. Left ventricular mass, mass index, and diastolic parameters were similar in the two obese groups, but differed significantly from the controls (p0.05). Body mass index was correlated with the LV mass (r=0.42, p=0.001) and mass index (r=0.33, p=0.001). Left ventricular MPI was similar in the two obese groups with (0.59±0.10) and without (0.59±0.11) MetS, but was higher compared to the control group (0.48±0.06, p0.05). Left ventricular MPI was correlated with BMI, waist circumference, LV mass, and mass index (r=0.24, p=0.02; r=0.30, p=0.005; r=0.31, p=0.002; r=0.21, p=0.04, respectively).Our findings demonstrate that obesity with or without MetS affects LV MPI. In addition, LV MPI showed significant correlations with BMI, waist circumference, and LV mass.
