[Resumen] El objeto y el contenido esencial de esta investigación es el estudio de la relación existente entre la Personalidad Oscura y el sistema político, hecho relevante y cada vez más destacable en la actualidad en las Ciencias Sociales. La personalidad de los integrantes de la clase política determina la forma de ser, actuar y características de esta y, por tanto, la influencia en el sistema político, existiendo una clara correlación entre ambos aspectos. Como se deduce claramente del título de esta tesis, su objeto y contenido pretenden ser una investigación teórico – práctica sobre la Personalidad Oscura y su relación con el sistema político; aspectos ambos interdependientes. Es una investigación integrada, a su vez, por dos partes diferenciadas claramente: una parte teórica y una parte práctica complementaria, fruto de una investigación. La parte teórica no deja de ser, por otro lado, una aproximación al tema de estudio, sin pretender obviamente poder agotar el tema, pues este está aún muy abierto y con numerosas lagunas. Las Neurociencias, sin duda, están aportando y aportarán en el futuro nuevas perspectivas y variables dignas de consideración y explicativas de un fenómeno poliédrico cual es la personalidad humana y en el contexto de su parte oscura. The personality of the members of the political class determines the way of being, acting and its characteristics, and therefore the influence on the political system, there being a clear correlation between both aspects. As is clearly deduced from the title of this thesis, its object and content are intended to be a theoretical-practical investigation on the dark personality and its relationship with the political system, both interdependent aspects. It is an investigation integrated in turn by two clearly differentiated parts: a theoretical part, and a complementary practical part, the result of an investigation. The theoretical part is, on the other hand, an approximation to the subject of study, obviously without claiming to be able to exhaust the subject, since it is still very open and with numerous gaps. The neurosciences are undoubtedly contributing and will contribute to the future new perspectives and variables worthy of consideration and explanatory of a polyhedral phenomenon which is the human personality, and in the context of its dark side. The empirical part contains the results of a survey, with unequal and limited responses, carried out online to the members of the Congress of Deputies during the months of March and June 2019, later analyzed, highlighting the analysis of the responses received. which, although quantitatively insufficient, are qualitatively an approximation to the reality of the group surveyed.

[Resumo] A exposición ao risco ambiental, especialmente ao risco psicosocial na contorna laboral é un dos maiores retos para a seguridade e a saúde laboral dos traballadores dos estaleiros. Este traballo de investigación, pretende analizar qué factores persoais e organizativos están relacionados co compromiso laboral, a satisfacción laboral, risco de desenvolver burnout, así como a perspectiva de orientación temporal (ZTPI) como variable psicolóxica fundamental. A orientación ao pasado, presente e futuro permite analizar en detalle ao conducta, xa que abarca todos os aspectos do comportamento humano entre os traballadores dos estaleiros da industria militar naval do norte de España. Realizáronse tres estudos observacionales e correlacionales de tipo transversal sobre mostras diferenciadas (n1=497; n2=644; n3=567) constituídas por persoas adultas traballadores en estaleiros e noutros sectores en Galicia. Os resultados sinalan que os traballadores do sector naval teñen un maior risco de padecer burnout, así como os factores persoais e ambientais inflúen no compromiso organizacional e a satisfacción laboral., [Resumen] La exposición al riesgo ambiental, especialmente al riesgo psicosocial en el entorno laboral es uno de los mayores retos para la seguridad y salud laboral de los trabajadores de los astilleros. Este trabajo de investigación, pretende analizar qué factores personales y organizativos están relacionados con el compromiso laboral, la satisfacción laboral, riesgo de desarrollar burnout, así como la perspectiva de orientación temporal de Zimbardo (ZTPI) como variable psicológica fundamental. La orientación al pasado, presente y futuro permite analizar en detalle la conducta, ya que abarca todos los aspectos del comportamiento humano entre los trabajadores de los astilleros de la industria militar naval del norte de España. Se realizaron tres estudios observacionales y correlacionales de tipo transversal sobre muestras diferenciadas (n1=497; n2=644; n3=567) constituidas por personas adultas trabajadores en astilleros y en otros sectores en Galicia. Los resultados señalan que los trabajadores del sector naval tienen un mayor riesgo de padecer burnout, así como los factores personales y ambientales influyen en el compromiso organizacional y la satisfacción laboral., [Abstract] Exposure to environmental risk, especially psychosocial risk in the work environment is one of the biggest challenges for the occupational safety and health of shipyard workers. This research work aims to analyze what personal and organizational factors are related to work commitment, job satisfaction, risk of developing burnout, as well as Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (ZTPI), time orientation as a fundamental psychological variable. The orientation to the past, present and future allows to analyze in detail the behavior, since it covers all aspects of human behavior among workers in the shipyards of the military industry in northern Spain. Three cross-sectional observational and correlational studies were carried out on differentiated samples (n1=497; n2=644; n3=567) made up of adult workers in shipyards and in other sectors in Galicia. The results indicate that workers in the naval sector have a higher risk of suffering from burnout, as well as personal and environmental factors influence organizational commitment and job satisfaction.

[Resumen] El uso de la asistencia sanitaria no sólo está determinado por la complejidad del proceso de salud o por el estado funcional del paciente, sino también por otras variables, entre ellas, las psicológicas. Este trabajo tuvo por objetivo estudiar la incidencia de características psicológicas específicas, valorar en qué medida éstas se relacionan con la integración al mundo laboral y estudiar qué variables psicológicas y psicosociales nos permiten identificar a las personas que pueden ser consideradas grandes consumidoras de recursos sanitarios. Se realizaron tres estudios observacionales y correlacionales de tipo transversal sobre muestras diferenciadas (n1=438; n2=1332; n3=1124) constituidas por personas adultas residentes en Galicia. Los resultados señalan que sería posible establecer un perfil diferenciador en el que variables vinculadas a la autoeficacia y una visión optimista del mundo identifiquen a personas con menor probabilidad de consumo de recursos sanitarios. The aim of this work was to study the incidence of specific psychological characteristics, to assess to what extent these are related to integration into the world of work and to study which psychological and psychosocial variables allow us to identify people who can be considered high consumers of health care resources. Three cross sectional observational and correlational studies were carried out on different samples (n1=438; n2=1332; n3=1124) made up of adults living in Galicia. The results indicate that it would be possible to establish a differentiating profile in which variables linked to self efficacy and an optimistic view of the world identify people with a lower probability of consuming health resources. Likewise, the categories of active worker, pre retired or retired would imply differential psychological profiles.

[Resumen] La presente tesis doctoral se centra en el estudio de la accidentalidad laboral que se registra en el sector pesquero de Galicia. La estadística estudiada está formada por la mano de obra, la flota y la accidentalidad. Se han estudiado las características propias de cada una tales como composición, causas forma y evolución de las mismas. Esta tesis doctoral ofrece una explicación sobre la accidentalidad laboral del sector pesquero de Galicia bajo la triple visión de los factores humanos, técnicos y psicosociales según los parámetros del programa de doctorado en Ciencias Sociales y del Comportamiento de la UDC y explica cuál ha sido la causa detonante de la accidentalidad registrada y facilita su estudio para que los técnicos que desarrollan sus funciones en el sector, implementen las medidas necesarias para mitigarla o llevarla a niveles tolerables. Si bien desde la entrada en vigor de la Ley de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales se han hecho grandes esfuerzos por parte de los diferentes actores involucrados, la lucha contra la siniestralidad laboral en el sector continua y se agradecen todas las aportaciones, en especial, por parte de la comunidad científica. Esta tesis doctoral es una contribución desde un punto de vista ajeno al sector, con una visión ecuánime y objetiva de la situación objetiva de la situación de la seguridad y salud, la flota y los trabajadores del sector en Galicia., [Abstract] This doctoral thesis focuses on the study of occupational accidents in the Galician fishing sector. The statistics studied are formed by the manpower, the fleet and the occupational accidents rate. The characteristics of each one have been studied, such as composition, causes, form and evolution of the same. This doctoral thesis offers an explanation of the occupational accidents in the Galician fishing sector under the triple vision of human, technical and psychosocial factors according to the parameters of the UDC's doctoral program in Social and Behavioral Sciences. It explains what has been the trigger for the registered accidents and facilitates their study so that the technicians who carry out their functions in the sector can implement the necessary measures to mitigate them or bring them to tolerable levels. Although great efforts have been made by the different actors involved since the entry into vigour of the Law on the Prevention of Occupational Risks, the fight against occupational accidents in the sector continues, and all contributions, especially from the scientific community, are appreciated. This doctoral thesis is a contribution from a point of view outside the sector, with an impartial and objective view of the health and safety situation, the fleet and professionals of the sector in Galicia., [Resumo] Esta tese doutoral céntrase no estudo dos accidentes laborais que se producen no sector pesqueiro en Galicia. A estatística estudada está formada pola forza de traballo, a frota e a sinistralidade. Estudáronse as características propias de cada unha como a composición, as causas, a forma e a evolución das mesmas. Esta tese doutoral ofrece unha explicación da accidentalidade no sector pesqueiro en Galicia baixo a triple visión de factores humanos, técnicos e psicosociais segundo os parámetros do programa de doutoramento da UDC en Ciencias Sociais e do Comportamento e da unha explicación do desencadeante do accidente rexistrado e facilita o seu estudo para que os técnicos que desenvolvan as súas funcións no sector, implementen as medidas necesarias para mitigalo ou levalo a niveis tolerables. Aínda que se fixeron grandes esforzos polos diferentes actores implicados dende a entrada en vigor da Lei de prevención de riscos laborais, a loita contra os accidentes de traballo no sector continúa e agradécense todas as achegas, especialmente da comunidade científica. Esta tese doutoral é unha contribución desde o punto de vista externo ao sector, cunha visión xusta e obxectiva da situación da seguridade e saúde, da frota e dos traballadores do sector en Galicia.

[Resumen] El título de esta Tesis Doctoral es “La protección del menor dentro del sistema de justicia desde una perspectiva psicosocial”. La protección jurídica del menor, desde el punto de vista legal, se ha regulado en nuestro país a través de una serie de normas que parten de nuestra Constitución y del Código Civil. A partir de la la Ley Orgánica 1/1996, de 15 de enero, de Protección Jurídica del Menor, de modificación parcial del Código Civil y de la Ley de Enjuiciamiento Civil, se asienta como principio informador del sistema de protección jurídica el interés superior de los menores, debiendo prevalecer éste sobre cualquier otro interés legítimo que pudiera concurrir. Las posteriores reformas de esta ley, han ido perfilando los criterios de evaluación y concreción del concepto interés superior del menor en aras de su más efectiva aplicación; sin embargo, éste no deja de ser un concepto jurídico indeterminado sujeto a diferentes interpretaciones dentro del mismo marco legal. Además de las distintas lecturas o interpretaciones a las que pueda prestarse el concepto interés superior del menor, los procedimientos y técnicas que se utilizan en la Administración de Justicia y las premisas de las que ésta parta en su cometido de impartición de Justica respecto a los menores, también y de forma más directa, darán lugar a muy dispares decisiones sobre lo que se entiende que debe ser la protección de los menores. Con este trabajo de investigación, pretendemos contribuir desde un punto de vista investigador a una efectiva protección del menor a través del estudio de la idoneidad de los procedimientos utilizados y de los paradigmas imperantes en la Administración de Justicia, y del aporte a ésta de instrumentos científicos útiles para una mejor protección del menor. Entendemos que solo desde la rigurosidad y cientificidad de los instrumentos utilizados dentro de la Administración de Justicia se puede velar y garantizar la impartición de justicia que ésta tiene encomendada., [Abstract] The title of this Doctoral Thesis is “The protection of the child within the justice system from a psychosocial perspective”. The legal protection of minors, from a normative point of view, has been regulated in our country through a series of regulations that start from our Constitution and the Civil Code. From the Organic Law 1/1996, of January 15, on the Legal Protection of Children, partial modification of the Civil Code and the Law of Civil Procedure, the best interest of the legal protection system is based on minors, and this must prevail over any other legitimate interest that may concur. Subsequent reforms of this law have outlined the criteria for evaluation and concretion of the concept of the best interests of the child for the most effective application; however, this is still an undetermined legal concept subject to different interpretations within the same legal framework. In addition to the different readings or interpretations to which the concept of the best interests of the child can be lent, the procedures and techniques used in the Administration of Justice and the premises from which it departs in its role of imparting Justice regarding minors , also and more directly, will give rise to very different decisions about what is meant to be the protection of minors. With this research work, we intend to contribute from an investigative point of view to effective protection of the child through the study of the suitability of the procedures used and the prevailing paradigms in the Administration of Justice, and the contribution to it of scientific instruments useful for better protection of the child. We understand that only from the rigor and scientific nature of the instruments used within the Administration of Justice can we ensure and guarantee the delivery of justice that it has entrusted. [Abstract] The purpose of this research was to analyze which personal and organizational factors are related to organizational commitment and job satisfaction of shipyard workers who work in different auxiliary shipyard military companies in the north of Spain. Methods: In total, 567 shipyard workers participated in this cross-sectional survey study. The ages were between 19 and 64 (M = 39.36, SD = 10.01), males 82.52%, females 17.48%. We used a survey that included questions about personal and organizational factors such as physical environment, occupational risks, and psychosocial risks, in addition to the job commitment and job satisfaction scales. Results: The results of this study show that job commitment is significantly related to a higher age, lower education, and environmental risk (low vs. high). Furthermore, job satisfaction (high vs. low) and organizational commitment (high vs. low) is related with environmental risk (low vs. high). Job commitment is also higher in workers with a low educational level and older workers. Job satisfaction is lower in workers with a high educational level. Conclusions: This study shows that different personal and environmental factors influence the shipyard workers’ organizational commitment and job satisfaction.

[Abstract] Background: This research examines how, when a romantic partner commits a perceived transgression that leads to couple break up, vengeful reactions are predicted by the type of transgression and the Dark Triad of personality. Methods: An incidental sample of 2142 participants, half male and half female aged 18 to 70, completed a questionnaire developed by the authors to assess how they had reacted after being the perceived victims of a transgression committed by their partner and a measure of the Dark Triad. Results: Results show half of the people who feel as though they are victims of a partner transgression show revenge reactions. These reactions are more emotional than rational and do not usually anticipate their consequences or success. Moreover, revenge is related primarily to psychopathy and to a lesser extent to Machiavellianism. Psychopathy is the best predictor for revenge thoughts and actions, whereas narcissism does not predict revenge when controlling for other dark traits. Conclusions: This study contributes to the explanation of revenge reactions in couple relationships in relation to the type of transgression perceived and the Dark Triad. Conflicts that arise out of revenge may have long-lasting consequences for both the perceived aggressor and victim, and our results may be useful for assessing risks, monitoring, and preventing negative consequences for partners or ex-partners

[Abstract] Psychopathy and intimate partner aggression (IPA) are two concepts that usually appear concomitantly. Male violence toward women is often considered a psychopathic trait that sometimes involves the woman’s homicide by her partner and, at other times, attempted homicide. This phenomenon has been studied by conducting interviews following Hare’s model with 92 men incarcerated under a compliance regime in a Spanish prison (Córdoba). The results detected six explanatory factors of IPA as a result of attempted homicide or homicide: criminal past and delinquency, impulsivity, the need to stand out from others, lack of empathy, manipulation of others, and instability in partner relationships. The first two factors predict a occurrence of high scores on Hare’s Psychopathy Checklist. [Abstract]: Expenditure on healthcare and services can be a serious problem for public health. Personality variables should be included as indicators to be considered when studying the consumption of health resources and their planning. This study aims to identify the psychological and psychosocial variables that identify people who can be considered high consumers of health resources versus those who barely consume such resources. The sample was made up of a total of 1124 subjects; one half were men, and one half were women, all of legal age and residents in Spain. A battery of tests was created that included a questionnaire of sociodemographic variables and of healthcare consumption, as well as several psychological variables (Zimbardo Time Paradox Inventory, Multidimensional Locus of Control Scale, Psychological Reactance Scale, Coping Responses Inventory, self-efficacy scale applied to health, and the Symptom Checklist-90-R). The following variables of the model were significant predictors (p _ 0.05): a negative past, a fatalistic present, psychological cognitive reactance, behavioral coping, health self-efficacy, and the level of somatization. Data from the statistical analyses show how to create a psychological profile of people who are high consumers of healthcare resources that will allow for the creation of intervention programs in this regard.
