Linearolactone (LL) is a neo-clerodane type diterpene that has been shown to exert giardicidal effects; however, its mechanism of action is unknown. This work analyzes the cytotoxic effect of LL on Giardia intestinalis trophozoites and identifies proteins that could be targeted by this active natural product. Increasing concentrations of LL and albendazole (ABZ) were used as test and reference drugs, respectively. Cell cycle progression, determination of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and apoptosis/necrosis events were evaluated by flow cytometry (FCM). Ultrastructural alterations were analyzed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Ligand–protein docking analyses were carried out using the LL structure raised from a drug library and the crystal structure of an aldose reductase homologue (GdAldRed) from G. intestinalis. LL induced partial arrest at the S phase of trophozoite cell cycle without evidence of ROS production. LL induced pronecrotic death in addition to inducing ultrastructural alterations as changes in vacuole abundances, appearance of perinuclear and periplasmic spaces, and deposition of glycogen granules. On the other hand, the in silico study predicted that GdAldRed is a likely target of LL because it showed a favored change in Gibbs free energy for this complex.

The antihyperglycemic activity of ethanolic extract from Salvia polystachya (EESpS) and its products was evaluated using in vivo, ex vivo and in silico assays; additionally, an acute toxicity assay was evaluated. EESpS was classified as a nontoxic class 5 drug. EESpS, ethyl acetate fraction (EtOAcFr), secondary-6-fraction (SeFr6), ursolic acid (UA), and oleanolic acid (OA) reduced the hyperglycemia in DM2 mice. α-glucosidase inhibition was evaluated with oral sucrose and starch tolerance tests (OSuTT and OStTT), an intestinal sucrose hydrolysis (ISH) assay and molecular docking studies using acarbose as control. SGLT1 inhibition was evaluated with oral glucose and galactose tolerance tests (OGTT and OGaTT), an intestinal glucose absorption (IGA) assay and molecular docking studies using canagliflozin as the control. During the carbohydrate tolerance tests, all the treatments reduced the postprandial peak, similar to the control drugs. During the ISH, IC50 values of 739.9 and 726.3 µM for UA and OA, respectively, were calculated. During the IGA, IC50 values of 966.6 and 849.3 for UA, OA respectively, were calculated. Finally, during the molecular docking studies, UA and OA showed ∆G values of −6.41 and −5.48 kcal/mol−1, respectively, on α-glucosidase enzymes. During SGLT1, UA and OA showed ∆G values of −10.55 and −9.65, respectively.

Salvia amarissima Ortega was evaluated to determinate its antihyperglycemic and lipid profile properties. Petroleum ether extract of fresh aerial parts of S. amarissima (PEfAPSa) and a secondary fraction (F6Sa) were evaluated to determine their antihyperglycemic activity in streptozo-cin-induced diabetic (STID) mice, in oral tolerance tests of sucrose, starch, and glucose (OSTT, OStTT, and OGTT, respectively), in terms of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), triglycerides (TG), and high-density lipoprotein (HDL). In acute assays at doses of 50 mg/kg body weight (b.w.), PEfAPSa and F6Sa showed a reduction in hyperglycemia in STID mice, at the first and fifth hour after of treatment, respectively, and were comparable with acarbose. In the sub-chronic test, PEfAPSa and F6Sa showed a reduction of glycemia since the first week, and the effect was greater than that of the acarbose control group. In relation to HbA1c, the treatments prevented the increase in HbA1c. In the case of TG and HDL, PEfAPSa and F6Sa showed a reduction in TG and an HDL increase from the second week. OSTT and OStTT showed that PEfAPSa and F6Sa significantly lowered the postprandial peak at 1 h after loading but only in sucrose or starch such as acarbose. The results suggest that S. amarissima activity may be mediated by the inhibition of disaccharide hydrolysis, which may be associated with an α-glucosidase inhibitory effect.

Background: Incomptine A (IA) has been reported to have cytotoxic activity in non-Hodgkin lymphoma cancer cell lines and have effects on U-937 cells, including the induction of apoptosis, the production of reactive oxygen species, and the inhibition of glycolytic enzymes. Also, IA has cytotoxic activity in the triple-negative subtypes, HER2+, and luminal A of breast cancer cells, with its properties being associated with an effect on the antiapoptotic function of Hexokinase II (HKII). Objectives: In this research, we reviewed the altered levels of proteins present in the lymph nodes of male Balb/c mice inoculated with U-937 cells and treated with IA or methotrexate, as well as mice only inoculated with cancer cells. Methods: Five approaches, including Tandem Mass Tag (TMT), Gene ontology (GO), Reactome, KEGG pathway analysis, and molecular docking, were used. Results: TMT showed that 74 proteins were differentially expressed, out of which 12 presented overexpression (FC ≥ 1.5) and 62 were under expressed (FC ≤ 0.67). In general, the TMT approach showed that IA had a better effect on proteins than methotrexate. Gene ontology, Reactome, and KEGG pathway analysis showed that proteins with altered levels may be implicated in several processes, including gene silencing by RNA, oxidative phosphorylation, glycolysis/gluconeogenesis, cytoskeleton organization, and ATP metabolic and energetic processes. The molecular docking analysis, which used 23 altered proteins as targets, revealed that IA interacted with all the proteins used. Conclusions: The results obtained using the five bioinformatic approaches provide information and show that IA could be used to treat non-Hodgkin lymphoma induced with the U-937 cell line. Also, it could provide a basis for future research and the development of clinical trials.

Icariin (ICA), one of the main active components of Herba Epimedii, is a natural prenylated flavonol glycoside that possesses a wide range of pharmacological effects, including antioxidant, antiosteoporotic, anti-aging, neuroprotective, immunomodulatory, antitumor, and aphrodisiac effects, and prevents numerous health disorders, such as cardiovascular diseases, osteoporosis, cancer, sexual dysfunction, menstrual disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, asthma, chronic inflammation, and diabetes. In the reproductive system, it has been observed that ICA may play a role in preserving fertility by regulating different signalling pathways, such as PI3K/AKT, which improves ovarian function, and ERα/Nrf2, which enhances testicular function and prevents ROS generation. In contrast, regulating the NF/kB signalling pathway causes anti-inflammatory effects, reducing spontaneous abortions. In this study, we review and examine the relevant literature on the therapeutic potential of ICA in reproduction, highlight the various mechanisms of action and limitations for the therapeutic applications of ICA, and summarise and highlight the existing preclinical research on its effects on male and female reproduction.

The present work presents an investigation of the effects of xanthan gum (XG) and soy lecithin (SL) on the physicochemical stability, fatty acid profile (FAP), and antioxidant capacity (AC) of macadamia nut-based beverages with thermal treatment (TT), as well as physicochemical changes during storage and sensorial acceptability. An extreme vertices mixture design was used, varying the macadamia nut, SL, and XG. The results show that adding XG and SL decreased the Sauter (D[3,2]) and Brouckere (D[4,3]) diameters of particles in macadamia beverages and increased the zeta potential (ZP), which represents greater stability. After applying TT in beverages, D[3,2], D[4,3], and ZP increased. After processing and TT, the FAP and fat nutritional indices changed due to reducing SFA and PUFA and increasing MUFA relative to macadamia nut. No significant difference (p ≥ 0.05) was observed in the FAP of beverages with and without TT. The AC determined by DPPH and ABTS decreased in most beverages upon TT application. During storage for two months, the beverage particle size increased, there was a decrease in brightness, and no significant difference (p ≥ 0.05) was observed in ZP. Sensory analysis showed that the most stable beverage was not the most acceptable due to its viscosity.

Ilama leaves are an important source of secondary metabolites with promising anticancer properties. Cancer is a disease that affects a great number of people worldwide. This work aimed to investigate the in vivo, in vitro and in silico anticancer properties of three acyclic terpenoids (geranylgeraniol, phytol and farnesyl acetate) isolated from petroleum ether extract of ilama leaves. Their cytotoxic activity against U-937 cells was assessed using flow cytometry to determine the type of cell death and production of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Also, a morphological analysis of the lymph nodes and a molecular docking study using three proteins related with cancer as targets, namely, Bcl-2, Mcl-1 and VEGFR-2, were performed. The flow cytometry and histomorphological analysis revealed that geranylgeraniol, phytol and farnesyl acetate induced the death of U-937 cells by late apoptosis and necrosis. Geranylgeraniol and phytol induced a significant increase in ROS production. The molecular docking studies showed that geranylgeraniol had more affinity for Bcl-2 and VEGFR-2. In the case of farnesyl acetate, it showed the best affinity for Mcl-1. This study provides information that supports the anticancer potential of geranylgeraniol, phytol and farnesyl acetate as compounds for the treatment of cancer, particularly with the potential to treat non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Context: Prescription indication studies allow identifying the problems that arise during the use of the drug. Aims: To evaluate the treatments used in patients diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection hospitalized in critical care service, through a prescription indication study. Methods: A longitudinal observational study of medication use of the indication-prescription type with elements of the therapeutic scheme and practical consequences was carried out. The sample was characterized from the sociodemographic, clinical, and pharmacotherapeutic points of view. The prescription was evaluated through the indicators: indication, therapeutic scheme, treatment individualization, and drug combinations. The detected adverse reactions were classified according to their causality by the Naranjo Algorithm, their severity, their clinical significance, and according to their mechanism by Rawlins and Thompson. Results: In the sample (n = 77), the male gender predominated (79%) between 27-59 years old (64%), alcohol consumer (62%), hypertensive (33%) with long hospital stay (51%). A total of 417 medications were analyzed, being antibiotics (50.6%) the most prescribed. 73.4% of the therapeutic schemes were correct; however, 26.6% had problems with the therapeutic schemes due to incorrect doses, intervals, duration of treatment, and risky interactions. According to Rawlins and Thompson, two probable adverse reactions were detected, mild, non-serious, and type A and B. Conclusions: The results obtained will allow the pharmaceutical professional to create risk matrices that guarantee a timely intervention in the health team to contribute to the rational and safe use of medicines in patients infected with SARS-CoV-2.

Amaranth has been of interest for its nutritional quality and its multiple benefits; however, there is little research on its toxicological effect. This work studied antinutritional compounds, the cytotoxic and genotoxic effect in the Amaranthus protein extract (PEAh). The content of lectins, tannins, saponins, and trypsin inhibitors was determined. Biological studies were conducted to determine toxicity in male CD-1 mice by intraperitoneal administration. The genotoxic potential was determined by the micronucleus test. The bone marrow cytotoxicity was determined by polychromatic erythrocyte (PE) rate and the cytotoxic effect was evaluated by the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) test. Our results showed considerably high concentrations of lectins and trypsin inhibitors, lower concentrations of tannins and saponins in PEAh. The PEAh was toxic to mice, presenting genotoxic and cytotoxic damage to bone marrow and hepatocytes.

The antihyperglycemic activity of ethanolic extract from Annona cherimola Miller (EEAch) and its products were evaluated using in vivo and in silico assays. An α-glucosidase inhibition was evaluated with oral sucrose tolerance tests (OSTT) and molecular docking studies using acarbose as the control. SGLT1 inhibition was evaluated with an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) and molecular docking studies using canagliflozin as the control. Among all products tested, EEAc, the aqueous residual fraction (AcRFr), rutin, and myricetin reduced the hyperglycemia in DM2 mice. During the carbohydrate tolerance tests, all the treatments reduced the postprandial peak such as the control drugs. In the molecular docking studies, rutin showed more affinity in inhibiting α-glucosidase enzymes and myricetin in inhibiting the SGLT1 cotransporter, showing ∆G values of −6.03 and −3.32 kcal/mol−1, respectively, in α-glucosidase enzymes. In the case of the SGLT1 cotransporter, molecular docking showed ∆G values of 22.82 and −7.89 in rutin and myricetin, respectively. This research sorts in vivo and in silico pharmacological studies regarding the use of A. cherimola leaves as a source for the development of new potential antidiabetic agents for T2D control, such as flavonoids rutin and myricetin.

Because of anthropogenic impacts on the trophic state of Tecocomulco´s lagoon in Hidalgo, Mexico, the quantities of nitrogen, phosphorus, and other biologically useful nutrients are being increased in spite of they are the primary determinants of a body of water's trophic state index. Nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus tend to be limiting resources in standing water bodies, so increased concentrations tend to result in increased plant growth, followed by corollary increases in subsequent trophic levels. Consequently, a body of water's trophic index may sometimes be used to make a rough estimate of its biological condition. Actually, in order to protect the environment, a new level of planning and execution of development projects have been originated by life cycle assessment, environmental impact researchesand evaluating economic financial researches due to the understanding that, environment will be irreversible damaged by any kind of project.

Poly-(3-hydroxyalkanoates) (PHAs) are bacterial carbon and energy storage compounds. These polymers are synthesized under conditions of nutritional imbalance, where a nutrient is growth-limiting while there is still enough carbon source in the medium. On the other side, the accumulated polymer is mobilized under conditions of nutrient accessibility or by limitation of the carbon source. Thus, it is well known that the accumulation of PHAs is affected by the availability of nutritional resources and this knowledge has been used to establish culture conditions favoring high productivities. In addition to this effect of the metabolic status on PHAs accumulation, several genetic regulatory networks have been shown to drive PHAs metabolism, so the expression of the PHAs genes is under the influence of global or specific regulators. These regulators are thought to coordinate PHAs synthesis and mobilization with the rest of bacterial physiology. While the metabolic and biochemical knowledge related to the biosynthesis of these polymers has led to the development of processes in bioreactors for high-level production and also to the establishment of strategies for metabolic engineering for the synthesis of modified biopolymers, the use of knowledge related to the regulatory circuits controlling PHAs metabolism for strain improvement is scarce. A better understanding of the genetic control systems involved could serve as the foundation for new strategies for strain modification in order to increase PHAs production or to adjust the chemical structure of these biopolymers. In this review, the regulatory systems involved in the control of PHAs metabolism are examined, with emphasis on those acting at the level of expression of the enzymes involved and their potential modification for strain improvement, both for higher titers, or manipulation of polymer properties. The case of the PHAs producer Azotobacter vinelandii is taken as an example of the complexity and variety of systems controlling the accumulation of these interesting polymers in response to diverse situations, many of which could be engineered to improve PHAs production.

Heliangolide-type sesquiterpene lactones (HTSLs) are phytocompounds with several pharmacological activities including cytotoxic and antitumor activity. Both bioactivities are related to an α-methylene-γ-lactone moiety and an ester group on carbon C-8 in the sesquiterpene lactone (SL) structure. Two HTSLs, incomptines A (AI) and B (IB) isolated from Decachaeta incompta, were evaluated for their cytotoxic activity on three leukemia cell lines: HL-60, K-562, and REH cells. Both compounds were subjected to a molecular docking study using target proteins associated with cancer such as topoisomerase IIα, topoisomerase IIβ, dihydrofolate reductase, methylenetetrahydrofolate dehydrogenase, and Bcl-2-related protein A1. Results show that IA and IB exhibit cytotoxic activity against all cell lines used. The CC50 value of IA was 2–4-fold less than etoposide and methotrexate, two anticancer drugs used as positive controls. The cytotoxic activity of IB was close to that of etoposide and methotrexate. The molecular docking analysis showed that IA and IB have important interaction on all targets used. These findings suggest that IA and IB may serve as scaffolds for the development of new treatments for different types of leukemia.

Incomptines A (IA) and B (IB) are two sesquiterpene lactones with antiprotozoal, antibacterial, cytotoxic, antitumor, spermicidal, and phytotoxic properties. The antibacterial activity of IA and IB against bacteria causing diarrhoea have been reported; however, no information is available regarding their antibacterial activity on Vibrio cholerae. In this work, both compounds were evaluated for their anti-diarrhoeal potential using the bacterium V. cholerae, sodium dodecyl sulphate–polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) analysis on cholera toxin, and a cholera toxin-induced diarrhoea model in male Balb/c mice. In addition, a molecular docking study was carried out to understand the interaction of IA and IB with cholera toxin. In terms of antibacterial activity, IB was three times more active than IA on V. cholerae. In the case of SDS-PAGE analysis and the in silico study, IA was most effective, revealing its potential binding mode at a molecular level. In terms of anti-diarrhoeal activity, IA was 10 times more active than IB and racecadotril, an antisecretory drug used as positive control; the anti-diarrheal activity of IB was also closer than racecadotril. The results obtained from in vitro, in vivo, and computational studies on V. cholerae and cholera toxin support the potential of IA and IB as new anti-diarrhoeal compounds.

Incomptine A (IA) is a sesquiterpene lactone isolated from Decachaeta incompta that induces apoptosis, reactive oxygen species production, and a differential protein expression on the U-937 (diffuse histiocytic lymphoma) cell line. In this work, the antitumor potential of IA was investigated on Balb/c mice inoculated with U-937 cells and through the brine shrimp lethality (BSL) test. Furthermore, IA was subjected to molecular docking study using as targets proteins associated with processes of cancer as apoptosis, oxidative stress, and glycolytic metabolism. In addition to determining the potential toxicity of IA in human, its acute toxicity was performed in mice. Results reveals that IA showed high antilymphoma activity and BSL with an EC50 of 2.4 mg/kg and LC50 16.7 µg/mL, respectively. The molecular docking study revealed that IA has strong interaction on all targets used. In the acute oral toxicity, IA had a LD50 of 149 mg/kg. The results showed that the activities of IA including antilymphoma activity, BSL, acute toxicity, and in silico interactions were close to the methotrexate, an anticancer drug used as positive control. These findings suggest that IA may serve as a candidate for the development of a new drug to combat lymphoma.

Several modern drugs, which are derived from traditional herbal medicine are used in contemporary pharmacotherapy. Currently, the study of drug–plant interactions in pain has increased in recent years, looking for greater efficacy of the drug and reduce side effects. The antinociception induced by intragastric co-administration of the combination of pomegranate peel extract (PoPEx) and acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) was assessed using the isobolographic analysis in formalin test (nociceptive and inflammatory pain). The effective dose that produced 30% of antinociception (ED30) was calculated for both drugs from the logarithmic dose–response curves, subsequently generating a curve with the combination on fixed proportions (1:1) of PoPEx and ASA. Through isobolographic analysis, this experimental ED30 was compared with the calculated theoretical additive ED30. The result was a synergistic interaction, the experimental ED30 was significantly smaller (p < 0.05) than the theoretical ED30. The antinociceptive mechanism of the PoPEx-ASA combination involves the l-Arginine/NO/cGMP pathway, antioxidant capacity, and high content of total phenols. These findings suggest that an interaction between PoPEx and ASA could be a novel treatment for inflammatory and nociceptive pain, also diminish the secondary reactions of ASA.

The genus Porophyllum (family Asteraceae) is native to the western hemisphere, growing in tropical and subtropical North and South America. Mexico is an important center of diversification of the genus. Plants belong of genus Porophyllum have been used in Mexican traditional medicine to treat kidney and intestinal diseases, parasitic, bacterial, and fungal infections and anti-inflammatory and anti-nociceptive activities. In this sense, several trials have been made on its chemical and in vitro and in vivo pharmacological activities. These studies were carried on the extracts and isolated compounds and support most of their reported uses in folk medicine as antifungal, antileishmanial, anti-inflammatory, anti-nociceptive and burn repair activities, and as a potential source of new class of insecticides. Bio guided phytochemical studies showed the isolation of thiophenes, terpenes and phenolics compounds, which could be responsible for the pharmacological activities. However, more pre-clinical assays that highlight the mechanisms of action of the compounds involved in pharmacological function are lacking. This review discusses the current knowledge of their chemistry, in vitro and in vivo pharmacological activities carried out on the plants belonging to the Porophyllum genus.

Annona diversifolia Safford and two acyclic terpenoids were evaluated to determine their antihyperglycemic activity as potential α-glucosidase and selective SGLT-1 inhibitiors. Ethanolic extract (EEAd), chloroformic (CHCl3Fr), ethyl acetate (EtOAcFr), aqueous residual (AcRFr), secondary 5 (Fr5) fractions, farnesal (1), and farnesol (2) were evaluated on normoglycemic and streptozocin-induced diabetic mice. EEAd, CHCl3Fr, Fr5, (1) and (2) showed antihyperglycemic activity. The potential as α-glucosidase inhibitors of products was evaluated with oral sucrose and lactose tolerance (OSTT and OLTT, respectively) and intestinal sucrose hydrolysis (ISH) tests; the potential as SGLT-1 inhibitors was evaluated using oral glucose tolerance (OGTT), intestinal glucose absorption (IGA), and urinary glucose excretion (UGE) tests. In OSTT and OLTT, all treatments showed significant activity at two and four hours. In ISH, half maximal effective concentrations (CE50) of 565, 662 and 590 μg/mL, 682 and 802 μM were calculated, respectively. In OGTT, all treatments showed significant activity at two hours. In IGA, CE50 values of 1059, 783 and 539 μg/mL, 1211 and 327 μM were calculated, respectively. In UGE Fr5, (1) and (2) showed significant reduction of the glucose excreted compared with canagliflozin. These results suggest that the antihyperglycemic activity is mediated by α-glucosidase and selective SGLT-1 inhibition.

The use of complementary medicine has recently increased in an attempt to find effective alternative therapies that reduce the adverse effects of drugs. Punica granatum L. (pomegranate) has been used in traditional medicine for different kinds of pain. This review aims to explore the scientific evidence about the antinociceptive effect of pomegranate. A selection of original scientific articles that accomplished the inclusion criteria was carried out. It was found that different parts of pomegranate showed an antinociceptive effect; this effect can be due mainly by the presence of polyphenols, flavonoids, or fatty acids. It is suggested in the literature that the mechanisms of action may be related to the activation of the L-arginine / NO pathway, members of the TRP superfamily (TRPA1 or TRPV1) and the opioid system. The implications for the field are to know the mechanisms of action by which this effect is generated and thus be able to create alternative treatments for specific types of pain, which help alleviate it and reduce the adverse effects produced by drugs. The results propose that pomegranate and secondary metabolites could be considered in the treatment of inflammatory, nociceptive, and neuropathic pain.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the antioxidant and hepatoprotective activity of Croton hypoleucus (EC). The present work reports the first pharmacological, toxicological, and antioxidant studies of EC extract on liver injury. Liver necrosis was induced by thioacetamide (TAA). Five groups were established: Croton Extract (EC), thioacetamide (TAA), Croton extract with thioacetamide (EC + TAA), vitamin E with thioacetamide (VE + TAA) and the positive control and vehicle (CT). For EC and EC + TAA, Wistar rats (n = 8) were intragastrically pre-administered for 4 days with EC (300 mg/kg.day) and on the last day, EC + TAA received a single dose of TAA (400 mg/kg). At 24 h after damage induction, animals were sacrificed. In vitro activity and gene expression of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (Cat), and Nrf2 nuclear factor were measured. The results show that EC has medium antioxidant properties, with an IC50 of 0.63 mg/mL and a ferric-reducing power of 279.8 µM/mg. Additionally, EC reduced hepatic damage markers at 24 h after TAA intoxication; also, it increased SOD and Cat gene expression against TAA by controlling antioxidant defense levels. Our findings demonstrated the hepatoprotective effect of EC by reducing hepatic damage markers and controlling antioxidant defense levels. Further studies are necessary to identify the mechanism of this protection.

El estudio se realizó en una ganadería manejada en sistema de doble propósito en el departamento de Jutiapa, Guatemala, durante los meses de abril, mayo y julio de 1993, con el objeto de calibrar un modelo de cinta bovinométrica a partir de mediciones corporales. Las mediciones se efectuaron en 456 animales, y las variables de medición comprendieron: diámetro del tórax (DT) , largo del cuerpo (LC), peso vivo en kilogramos (PV) y edad en años (ED). La alimentación del ganado se basó en pasturas de Estrella Africana, Jaraguá, y otras especies naturales. El hato produce leche durante todo el año a un ordeño por día, y los terneros se amamantan hasta los ocho meses de edad. La información generada se analizó a través de dos modelos de efectos fijos que incluyeron las variables DT, LC y ED, para determinar la contribución de cada efecto en la predicción del peso vivo y se ajustaron dos modelos de regresión multiple linealizados por logaritmo natural y base 10 para machos y hembras, respectivamente. Los análisis indicaron que en la población estudiada, las variables DT, LC, y ED se pueden utilizar para predecir el peso vivo, según el sexo del animal en ganado de doble propósito de hasta 175 kilos de peso vivo a través de los siguientes modelos: PV = e(0,032145DT + 0,030394LC-0,000156(DT*LC)); y PV = 0,0002313* DT2,025063 LC0,788578 Edad 0,50249 para machos y hembras respectivamente.
