Abstract

The article discusses the role of personally transformative learning in the development of leadership. Continuous learning is a large part of what makes a business and its employees successful. Leaders in business have to be able to conduct transformative learning in order to meet the challenges of globalization, increased competition, and technological innovations in their business. A study was conducted on senior executives who participated in a residential leadership development program and experienced personally transformative learning as well as those who did not experience transformative learning.
