The security architecture and procedure for 5G systems (TS 33.501) is based on the 3rd Generation Partner Project (3GPP) security specification draft that is released in 2018. Since its debut, the security violations in the 5G security protocol have been intensively studied and discussed. Based on the 5G security protocol, this paper illustrates a new tracking-attack scenario that feasibly makes subscribers suffer in a breakdown of personal privacy. Specifically, it is shown in this paper that patterns of personal behavior are leaked without any awareness during the synchronization procedures in the 5G protocol. An in-depth analysis of the privacy violations is presented in this paper and potential countermeasures for protecting the sensitive information of genuine subscribers are given. A lemma model based on the TAMARIN Prover is illustrated to analyze the privacy vulnerabilities in the depicted attack scenario. Furthermore, a practical experiment based on the srsLTE framework is setup to demonstrate how the privacy information of genuine subscribers are violated based on the scenario that is reported in this paper.

Full-duplex communications systems that transmit and receive simultaneously suffer self-interference due to the mixing of the transmitted signal and the weaker received signal at the same node. The problem becomes compounded in Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) systems, where considerable overhead is dedicated to training. In this article, we discuss using blind source separation techniques, namely Independent Component Analysis (ICA) to reduce training overhead in MIMO in-band full-duplex wireless communication systems. Practical limitations are discussed and experimental results that compare ICA to traditional Least Square approaches are presented, showing the superiority of ICA, especially in low SNR regimes.

IEEE Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) Task Group specifies a series of standards such as 802.1Qbv for enhancing the management of time-critical flows in real-time networks. Under the IEEE 802.1Qbv standard, the scheduling algorithm is employed to determine the time when a specific gate in the network entities is opened or closed so that the real-time requirements for the flows are guaranteed. The computation time of this scheduling algorithm is critical for the system where dynamic network configurations and settings are required. In addition, the network routing where the paths of the flows are determined has a significant impact on the computation time of the network scheduling. This paper presents a novel scheduling-aware routing algorithm to minimize the computation time of the scheduling algorithm in network management. The proposed routing algorithm determines the path for each time-triggered flow by including the consideration of the period of the flow. This decreases the occurrence of path-conflict during the stage of network scheduling. The detailed outline of the proposed algorithm is presented in this paper. The experimental results show that the proposed routing algorithm reduces the computation time of network scheduling by up to 30% and improves the schedulability of time-triggered flows is the network.

The floral supply chain is one of the most delicate logistics networks in existence, requiring intensive monitoring of temperature, humidity, and product conditions to ensure the quality of flowers. However, the traditional centralized supply chain involves exchanging information back and forth, and therefore wastes time, money, and resources. In addition, centralized data control without security verification exposes logistics information to the risk of hacking, information tampering, and counterfeiting. Blockchain technology offers decentralization, immutability, and encryption security. Furthermore, application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has made it easier to monitor goods and the distribution process. Combining the above two new technologies can effectively improve the transparency and traceability of the floral supply chain and make transactions more secure through the digital signature verification process. In this research, we propose a smart contract for the floral supply chain. Through contract compilation, the proposed contract defines the delivery process status, delivery specifications, and other conditions in the shipping process so that the status of the goods is updated on the blockchain, giving the supply chain higher traceability. This study also defines the process for and conditions of money transactions between buyers and sellers using such smart contracts, thereby automating the transaction, improving its efficiency, and saving on labor costs and paper waste. This research also compares the proposed smart contract to traditional transaction methods. The pros and cons are thoroughly discussed, offering significant benefit to decision makers. With the acceleration of world economic integration and enterprise management globalization, the advent of Internet of things based on Internet and information technology has become inevitable. The Internet of things also brings about a cascading effect between firms' shadow banking behaviour and bank connections. This study investigates the relationship between firms' shadow banking behaviour and bank connections by analysing a sample of Chinese listed firms in Internet of things industry. The results show that bank connections eliminate information asymmetry between banks and firms, bank connections are positively related to firms' long-term debt, and as long-term debt increases, firms' shadow banking behaviour also increases. Furthermore, this finding shows very strong robustness, the empirical analysis provides sufficient evidence that firms' shadow banking behaviour increased with bank connections in Internet of things industry. In addition, the evidence also shows that the tendency of shadow banking behaviour is more pronounced in non-state-owned enterprises (NSOEs) than state-owned enterprises (SOEs) by sub-sample sensitivity analysis.
