This paper offers a typology for understanding design fiction as a new approach in design research. The typology allows design researchers to explain design fictions according to 5 criteria.The typology is premised on the idea that fiction may integrate with reality in many different ways in design experiments. The explanatory power of the typology is exemplified through the analyses ofsix case projects.

In this paper we explore textile design activities and textile design management from an industrial network perspective. The textile industry is probably one of the most globalized manufacturing industries in the world and thus one of the most dispersed industries on the globe.Most studies on design management are framed inside the organisational context of the firm. In this study the role and practice of textile design is addressed in perspective of the global textile production network. The empirical data stems from six case studies exploring how different types of enterprises are organised in larger networks of suppliers, customers and other relations.Comparing the organisational networks we discuss how design activities unfold under different organisational settings. We also demonstrate that it is crucial for the companies who rely on external production facilities to have a strong design management in order to maintain the relationships in their network of customers and suppliers.

Multikulturelle virtuelle teams er en udbredt samarbejdsform i større danske virksomheder, specielt til løsning af videns intensive og kreative opgaver. Som leder kan man umiddelbart opnå fleksibilitet og besparelser ved brug af virtuelle teams, men desværre bliver disse fordele ofte spoleret af øget konflikt og manglende kommunikation. I dette kvalitative studie af en danskejet multinational virksomhed identificeres tre grunde til, at den kreative proces i virtuelle multikulturelle teams bryder sammen: sprog, kultur og medier. Modsat eksisterende forskning indikerer resultaterne, at ’rige’ medier, såsom telefon og videokonference, ikke altid er effektive til kreative opgaver, da sproglig og kulturel friktion kan forøges ved brug af disse. De forskningsmæssige implikationer af studiet diskuteres, og ledelsestiltag, som imødegår disse udefordringer udfordringer, belyses.

Electric cars hold the potential to completely alter the interrelationship among actors in the automobile industry architecture. As such they may not only be able to alleviate environmental externalities but also revolutionise the automobile industry as such. This paper is concerned with the processes of industry creation for the electric car industry, which is a particular fascinating topic matter as it allows the analysis to provide an understanding of the processes of innovation and of some of its inventors in concert. In continuation of this, the aim of this paper is to describe and analyse which emergent business models and corresponding value capturing capabilities can be found in the emerging market for electric cars.

The paper shortly reveals the history of a small school - the KaosPilots - dedicated to educate young people to carriers as entrepreneurs. In this contribution we want to explore how the KaosPilots managed to break the waves of institutionalised concepts and practices of teaching entrepreneurship. Following the so-called 'Dogma' concept developed by Danish filmmakers, this contribution aim to explore the key elements making up the recipes guiding the entrepreneurship training program exercised by the school. Key factors forming a community of learning practice are outlined as well as the critical pedagogical elements on which the education in entrepreneurship rests.

Denne artikel handler om innovation og entreprenørskab i etablerede virksomheder - også kaldet intraprenørskab. Grundlæggende drejer artiklen sig om et skisma mellem de regler, rutiner, vaner og systemer, som gør nye idéer og handlinger umulige, og det rum for ledelse, som gør det muligt at agere kreativt og udøve lokal handlekraft. Det handler altså om det skisma, der opstår mellem dét at gøre muligt og dét at gøre umuligt. I artiklen tales om et universelt spændingsfelt mellem to former for innovationsledelse - den ordinære og den ekstraordinære innovationsledelse. Artiklen afsluttes med en drøftelse af de muligheder, virksomheden har for at håndtere denne balance. The subject of this article is a discussion of innovation and entrepreneurship in established enterprises - also known as intrapreneurship. Basically, it concerns the schism between the rules, habits and systems that make new ideas and actions impossible, and the space devoted to management that makes it possible to act creatively by expanding the local efficiency and energy. So this, is abut the schism that arises between what is possible and the impossible. A universal tension area is considered between two forms of innovation management - the ordinary and the extraordinary - and a discussion of how the enterprise can handle this balance concludes the article.

I kapitlerne gennemføres en analyse af ændringerne i den globale arbejdsdeling. Implikationerne i udvalgte brancher i Danmark skitseres med henblik på at belyse potentialet for den fremtidige værdiskabelse. De fremtidige organisations- og ledelsesformer, som ses vokse ud af den ændrede globale arbejdsdeling, belyses.
