HtrA (high-temperature requirement A) are the heat shock-induced serine proteases widely spread in pro- and eukaryotic cells. These enzymes control the quality of intracellular proteins by hydrolysis of denatured proteins, thereby protecting cells from various stresses. In many pathogenic bacteria, they are factors of pathogenicity. Thus, in Streptococcus mutans, HtrA participates in quorum-dependent processes and biofilm formation via digestion of the pheromone ComX. In this work, Bacillus subtilis HtrA Hy with an overexpressionof the HtrA protein has been obtained and its physiological features have been characterized. The overexpression of HtrA in Bacillus subtilis cells increases cell viability at high temperature conditions, ethanol and salt stresses. In addition, B. subtilis HtrA Hy is characterized by the intensive biofilm formation with an increased synthesis of extracellular matrix. Congo red staining of the co lonyhas revealed that HtrA overexpression induces the increased production of amyloid-like proteins. Moreover, these cells exhibited intensive swarming in contrast to the wild-type strain. The overexpression of the HtrA protease results in an increased level of expression of the eps and yqxM genes encoding the components of the biofilm matrix. This fact is probably related to the effect of the enzyme on regulatory processes, possibly due to the hydrolysis of signal regulatory peptides.

The article observes potential participation of SE "Zorya"―"Mashproekt" GTR&PC in implementation of the program for renovation of Ukraine’s gas transportation system facilities. The mentioned state enterprise, as an originator of the method of compressor stations renovation by means of a heavy upgrading of gas pumping units, has a long experience of successful implementation of tens of such projects in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Bulgaria. The examples and propositions for modernization of gas pipe-lines of "Ukrtransgaz" PJSC gas transportation sys-tem are set forth in the article.

The article presents the analysis and studying of prospective domestic and external markets for SE ―Zorya‖-―Mashproekt‖ GTR&PC’s products in relation to the current trends of gas turbine industry development in various directions. In addition to the existing markets, in which the products of the above enterprise are present, the prospective alternatives for penetration into the world markets are discussed, as well as participation in the domestic market with consideration for the required diversification not only for SE ―Zorya‖-―Mashproekt‖ GTR&PC, but also for the whole gas turbine industry of Ukraine. Дана стаття присвячена аналізу та дослідженням перспективних внутрішніх та зовнішніх ринків збуту продукції ДП НВКГ «Зоря»-«Машпроект» у світлі сучасних тенденцій розвитку газотурбінної промисловості за різними напрямками. Розглянуто вже існуючі ринки, де представлена продукція зазначеного підприємства, а також потенційні варіанти для проникнення на світові ринки та участі на внутрішньому ринку з урахуванням необхідної диверсифікації не тільки для ДП НВКГ «Зоря»-«Машпроект», але й для всього газотурбобудування України.
