High entropy amorphous alloys (HE AMs) have attracted extensive interest lately due to their superior magnetocaloric properties. However, the critical behavior and mechanical properties have received less research, which restricts their applications. This work presented a comprehensive investigation of the magnetocaloric effect (MCE), critical behavior, and mechanical performance of quinary Gd20Dy20Er20Al20M20 (M = Fe, Co, Ni) HE AMs. All samples exhibited distinct spin glass-like behavior below TC and competitive MCE around hydrogen liquefaction temperature range. Excellent MCE was achieved by the HE AMs through a second-order phase transition from paramagnetic state to ferromagnetic state at 79 K for Fe, 41 K for Co, and 36 K for Ni. Among them, the maximum magnetic entropy change (-ΔSM)max of Gd20Dy20Er20Al20Co20 amorphous alloys was 9.59 J kg−1 K−1 under 0–5 T. Furthermore, RC and RCP of Gd20Dy20Er20Al20Fe20 amorphous alloys were respectively 519 J kg−1 and 613 J kg−1, larger than that of most RE-based amorphous alloys. For all samples, the critical behavior of the phase transition approached the mean field model, and this responded to the long-range ordering of the magnetic interaction. The bending plasticity of Gd20Dy20Er20Al20M20 (M = Fe, Co, Ni) HE AMs were 0.78, 1.03, 0.89, respectively. The adjustable Tc, large (-ΔSM), high RCP, and outstanding mechanical properties suggested Gd20Dy20Er20Al20M20 (M = Fe, Co, Ni) HE AMs may find utility as magnetic refrigerants in low-temperature applications.

Objective To construct nanomedicine with antihypertensive effect and explore its targeting ability and therapeutic efficacy on preeclampsia (PE) in vitro and in vivo. Methods The carrier material poly (lactic-co-glycolic acid, PLGA) encapsulated nifedipine was self-assembled to construct a new nanomedicine (PN NP), and the placenta-targeting peptide (plCSA-BP) was linked to the surface of the nanomedicine (named pl-PN NP) by chemical bonding. Microscopy and laser particle analyzer were utilized to characterize these nanomedicines (PN NP and pl-PN NP). Confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) and flow cytometry were used to investigate the phagocytosis, anti-apoptosis and antioxidant levels in HTR8 cells after treatment of different doses of nanomedicines. The reduced uterine perfusion pressure (RUPP) model was used to explore the targeting and therapeutic effect of PN NP and pl-PN NP in preeclampsia rats, and their influence on fetal development. Results The nanoparticles, PN NP and pl-PN NP are in a well-defined spherical shape, in a narrow particle size distribution, at a mean diameter of 160.9±5.3 and 163.5±3.4 nm, and with a surface charge of -45.5±2.6 and -48.3±4.5 mV, respectively. In vitro cell experiments showed that HTR8 cells phagocytosed the nanoparticles in a time- and concentration-dependent manner, and they inhibited cell apoptosis and oxidative stress after H2O2 stimulation (P < 0.05), with pl-PN NP showing better effect than PN NP. In vivo animal experiments showed that the PN NP and pl-PN NP treatment groups had significantly reduced blood pressure (P < 0.05), proteinuria level (P < 0.05) and uterine artery blood flow resistance index (UARI, P < 0.05) and expression levels of inflammatory factors IL-6 and TNF-α (P < 0.05), and increased expression levels of anti-oxidative stress-related proteins UCP-1 and Nrf-2 (P < 0.05) when compared with the nifedipine group. Moreover, these nanoparticles improved blood supply of the kidneys and placenta, increased fetal and placental weight, and alleviated developmental disorders of fetus. And pl-PN NP exerted better effects on blood pressure, proteinuria, UARI, inflammatory factors, oxidative stress, blood supply and weights of placenta and fetus than PN NP (P < 0.05). Conclusion Nanomedicine loaded with nifedipine (PN NP) and the placenta-targeted nanomedicine (pl-PN NP) are successfully synthesized, and PN NP and pl-PN NP show efficacy in treatment of preeclampsia at both cell and animal experiments.

We report the results of fifteen sets of portfolio selection simulations using stocks in the ASX200 index for the period May 2000 to December 2013. We investigated five portfolio selection methods, random selection, selection within industrial groups, and three based on neighbor-Net phylogenetic networks. We report that using random, industrial groups, or neighbor-Net phylogenetic networks alone rarely produced statistically significant reduction in risk, though in four out of the five cases in which it did so, the portfolios selected using the phylogenetic networks had the lowest risk. However, we report that when using the neighbor-Net phylogenetic networks in combination with industry group selection that substantial reductions in portfolio return spread were achieved.

This paper applied MapInfo, the professional soft ware tool of GIS, integrated secondary exploiture combining with elctronic maps, and made use of the exploiture flat roof Visual C++ as the tool of visualize development, transferred MapX, a control of MapInfo, integrated them. The paper designed the Inquiry System in Intelligent Transportation, which including query system of road information, query system of bus information, query system of district information. It can be carried out space analysis and query function based on GIS. Adopted SQL Server manage attribute data, by data binding, attribute data in SQL Server and victor picture data were combined.

In the target design of the Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) program, it is common practice to apply radiation hydrodynamics code to study the key physical processes happening in ICF process, such as hohlraum physics, radiation drive symmetry, capsule implosion physics in the radiation-drive approach of ICF. Recently, many efforts have been done to develop our 2D integrated simulation capability of laser fusion with a variety of optional physical models and numerical methods. In order to effectively integrate the existing codes and to facilitate the development of new codes, we are developing an object-oriented structured-mesh parallel code-supporting infrastructure, called JASMIN. Based on two-dimensional three-temperature hohlraum physics code LARED-H and two-dimensional multi-group radiative transfer code LARED-R, we develop a new generation two-dimensional laser fusion code under the JASMIN infrastructure, which enable us to simulate the whole process of laser fusion from the laser beams' entrance into the hohlraum to the end of implosion. In this paper, we will give a brief description of our new-generation two-dimensional laser fusion code, named LARED-Integration, especially in its physical models, and present some simulation results of holhraum.
