[Objectives] This research aims to obtain accurate positioning in underwater towing and facilitate its use and deployment during experiments.[Methods] Long baseline and ultra-short baseline acoustic technology are combined,the rough position of a towed target is obtained using the ultra-short baseline positioning array and the position is used as a priori data for long baseline positioning. On this basis,the long baseline array elements of the deck unit transducer and ultra-short baseline positioning array are combined with the short-term baseline positioning a priori data and long baseline positioning technology so as to obtain higher positioning accuracy.[Results] The long-baseline and ultra-short baseline joint positioning method is used to improve the positioning accuracy of towed underwater targets. The results of positioning accuracy tests conducted on a lake show that the Root-Mean-Square(RMS) error is 6.8 m when the ultra-short baseline method is adopted. However,the RMS value is just 2.5 m when the long baseline and ultra-short baseline are combined,solving the problem of positioning accuracy within short distances.[Conclusions] By combining the long-range baseline information of the deck unit's ranging information and the ultra-short baseline positioning results,this technology can achieve the high-precision positioning of towed underwater targets and provide technical support for the specific needs of offshore testing and operations.

Based on the panel data of 41 cities along and around the Guangzhou Zhuhai intercity railway (GZR) from 2005 to 2018 and taking the opening of the GZR as a natural experimental scenario, the difference-in-difference (DID) method was used to empirically test the impact of the opening of the GZR on the innovation of cities along the line. The research results show that the opening of GZR has had a statistically positive effect on the innovation of cities along the route—that is, the innovation dividend of high-speed railway (HSR)cities exists, which improves the level of urban innovation—and further, there is time dynamics and regional heterogeneity in the innovation dividend. How should the public administrative department direct the diffusion of public opinions in a not-in-my-backyard (NIMBY) crisis? This paper first analyzes the macroevolutionary characteristics of the public opinion associated with a NIMBY crisis. We then examine the perceptive interactions among individuals towards NIMBY projects from a microscopic perspective and develop an evolutionary game model (i.e., replicator dynamics) to describe the interactions among individuals. We also use information entropy and dynamic equations to construct an interaction entropy model and a dynamic equation to capture administrative-department-led public opinion. Through examining the existence and stability of the evolutionary equilibrium of these models, we analyze the evolution of NIMBY public opinion. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The potatoPlocus is required for the production of blue/purple anthocyanin pigments in any tissue of the potato plant such as tubers, flowers, or stems. We have previously reported, based on RFLP mapping in tomato, that the gene coding for the anthocyanin biosynthetic enzyme flavonoid 3',5'-hydroxylase (f3'5'h) maps to the same region of the tomato genome asPmaps in potato. To further evaluate this association aPetunia f3'5'hgene was used to screen a potato cDNA library prepared from purple-colored flowers and stems. Six positively hybridizing cDNA clones were sequenced and all appeared to be derived from a single gene that shares 85% sequence identity at the amino acid level withPetunia f3'5'h. The potato gene cosegregated with purple tuber color in a diploid F1 sub-population of 37 purple and 25 red individuals and was found to be expressed in tuber skin only in the presence of the anthocyanin regulatory locusI. A potatof3'5'hcDNA clone was placed under the control of a doubled CaMV 35S promoter and introduced into the red-skinned cultivar ‘Désirée’. Esophageal cancer usually has a poor prognosis. Given the significant breakthrough with tumor immunotherapy, an increasing number of clinical studies have demonstrated that the combination of radiotherapy and immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) may have a synergistic effect and good outcome in esophageal cancer. Clinical studies of immunoradiotherapy (iRT) for esophageal cancer have proliferated enormously from 2021 to the present. However, a summary of the efficacy and toxicity of combined therapy to guide esophageal cancer treatment in clinical practice is lacking. For this review, we integrate the latest data to analyze and assess the efficacy and safety of iRT for esophageal cancer. In addition, we discuss better predictive biomarkers, therapeutic options for specific populations, and other challenges to identify directions for future research design., (Copyright ©2023 Chinese Journal of Cancer Research.
