Abstract

With the rapid development of the flexible loads and energy storage, it is of great scientific and engineering value to improve safety and economy of the receiving-end power system with HVDC feed-in power by the coordinated generation-grid-load-storage control. In this paper, a fuzzy inference based method is proposed to assess the coordinated control ability of generation-grid-load-storage control for the receiving-end power system with HVDC feed-in power. First of all, the evaluation indexes are constructed with consideration of the coordination and interaction of power generation, power grid, power load and energy storage. Both subjective weight and objective weight are considered to calculate the comprehensive weight for each evaluation index. Furthermore, the Kmeans clustering based method is proposed to the grading in each evaluation index. Finally, the coordination control ability of the modified IEEE 57-bus system in different states is evaluated by the proposed method.

Abstract

Deep learning models with convolutional operators have received widespread attention for their good image denoising performance. However, since the convolutional operation prefers to extract local features, the extracted features may lose some global information, such as texture, structure, and color characteristics, when the object in the image is large. To address this issue, this paper proposes an N-shaped convolutional neural network with the ability to extract multi-scale features to capture more useful information and alleviate the problem of global information loss. The proposed network has two main parts: a multi-scale input layer and a multi-scale feature extraction layer. The former uses a two-dimensional Haar wavelet to create an image pyramid, which contains the corrupted image's high- and low-frequency components at different scales. The latter uses a U-shaped convolutional network to extract features at different scales from this image pyramid. The method sets the mean-squared error as the loss function and uses the residual learning strategy to learn the image noise directly. Compared with some existing image denoising methods, the proposed method shows good performance in gray and color image denoising, especially in textures and contours. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

24. Optimization of Magnetic Confinement for Quasi-Snowflake Divertor Configuration

Abstract

To realize the commercialized operation, it is preferable that tokamak devices achieve the operating scenarios with steady-state, long-pulse, H-mode and high magnetic confinement plasma current. For enhancing the magnetic confinement capability and improving the poloidal beta βp in quasi-snowflake configuration, under the consideration of the effect on other performance parameters, the method of shifting magnetic axis is employed. According to the calculated method proposed in this paper, the plasma current density distribution is modified to realize the supposed radial movement of the magnetic axis. Then the value of βp, the coordinates of X2 point, the flux expansion of outside and inside strike points (fmout and fmin), poloidal field currents and safety factor q profile are formulated, the relations between these parameters and the horizontal displacement of the magnetic axis are analyzed. Finally, in lower single-null quasi-snowflake configuration, by shifting the magnetic axis from 1.9242 to 1.9412m, βp has an increase of 86.96 %, the confinement capability of the plasma is significantly enhanced, Meanwhile, the position of X2 point is varied from (2.6789 m, −1.6439 m) to (2.2955 m, −1.6039 m), which is closer to X1 point and the plasma. Therefore, fmout is enlarged from 6.646 to 7.706, which has an increase of 15.9%. And fmin has a decrease of 0.62%, which can be neglected. The safety factor at magnetic axis q0 is decreased by 1.75%, from 1.0897 to 1.0701, which is larger than 1 and satisfies the requirement of magnetohydrodynamic stability. In addition, EFIT code is used to verify the feasibility and the accuracy of the optimized results.

Abstract

Transformer inductive filtering technology is a new filtering method through elimination of harmonic flux of transformer's core, which has important practical value and application prospect. To improve the inductive filtering system and expand the application fields, the research of inductive filtering technology based on multi-winding transformer is done in this paper. Firstly, the implementation condition and filtering mechanism of inductive filtering technology based on multi-winding transformer are analyzed; Secondly, the mathematical model and equivalent circuit of multi-winding inductive filtering transformer is calculated; Finally, the practical application of the multi-winding transformer inductive filtering technology in 12-pulse industry rectifier systems is given and the testing results validate the good harmonic suppression effectiveness of multi-winding transformer inductive filtering technology and the correctness of the equivalent circuit.
