This article demonstrates a gesture recognition method using multiple Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) sensors, which can record acceleration and rotation information for hand joints. The proposed gesture recognition method comprises frequency ConvNet and TemporalNet to extract the representative features within a sliding window of IMU signals for recognizing various types of hand gestures. To validate the proposed gesture recognition method, basketball official referee signals (ORSs), which comprise sixty-five types of gestures including both large motion hand movement and subtle motion hand movement, are utilized as the main recognition task to evaluate the proposed method. The evaluation results reveal the proposed recognition model can achieve convinced performance, which outperforms other existing works. In addition, the satisfied performance of the proposed recognition model encourages us to develop a decision-making training (DMT) system for cultivating basketball referees. The results of subjective evaluations by the recruited 20 participants indicate the training system based on the proposed gestures recognition method can efficiently strengthen the decision-making skills of users.

Gas atomized Al88Ce8Fe4 alloy powders were ball-milled and investigated at charge ratiosof 5:1, 15:1 and 30:1 and milling speeds of 150 and 200 [RPM], respectively. The morphology,microstructure and composition of the powders were examined by laser diffraction technique, SEM,EDS and XRD. The result indicates the evolution of the powders under milling experiences initiallycold welding, aggregating the powders into larger-sized disk-shaped particles; followed byfragmentation, forming smaller-sized equiaxed particles; and finally leading to a steady state, whereparticles morphology, composition and phases keep constantly unchanged. This procedure has beentestified as a general rule for milling at each of the charge ratios of 5:1, 15:1 and 30:1 and at millingspeeds of 150 and 200 [RPM] while milling at larger charge ratios or higher speeds drives faster toreach the steady state at which homogeneous, fine-sized glassy powders can be obtained.

When contingencies occur in the telephone network the proper traffic control actions for rearranging the traffic flow must be promptly taken in a short period of time, otherwise, the congestion will soon spread to other parts of the network. In this paper, a multicommodity maximal flow model is proposed to formulate the problem, and an efficient approach is proposed to find the solution within a short time period. The node pairs are first sorted by the traffic demand into decreasing order and the capacity of links is allocated to the node pair with largest demand. The traffic allocation is then iteratively reallocated on those routes which share the same links to find a better solution, until that solution is obtained. The advantages of this approach are: (1) a feasible solution can be obtained within a short time period; (2) the affected traffic can be rerouted on paths with more than two links; (3) an acceptable solution can be found once the period has expired.
