Evidence suggests that college students' future-related feelings and cognition may influence their trust in government. This study aims to explore whether the association between college students' future time perspective and trust in government is mediated through the consideration of future consequences (CFC). A cross-sectional survey was used to collect data from 1,617 college students (86.6% women) aged 17 to 31 years in China via an online questionnaire. The results showed that the students' positive, negative and confused future orientation was positively associated with their trust in government. The consideration of far- future consequences positively mediated the relationship between a positive future orientation and trust in government. Objective To investigate the histological damage recovery of temporomandibular joint condylar cartilage caused by chronic unpredictable moderate stress, aiming to provide an experimental basis for the prevention and treatment of temporomandibular disorder. Methods This animal experiment was approved by the Laboratory Animal Ethical Inspection, School of Stomatology, The Fourth Military Medical University (No. 2020081). 60 male SD rats were randomly divided into control group, stress group, and 2-, 4- and 8-week post-stress recovery groups. Rats were subjected to chronic unpredictable moderate stress (CUMS) for 8 weeks including damp sawdust for 24 hours, tilted cage for 12 hours, noise for 4 hours, light/dark cycle reversal, water immersion, tail clamp, and restraint stress. The serum assessment, behavioral tests, histological and ultrastructural observation were performed 2-, 4- and 8-weeks after stress factors were removed. Serum levels of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and corticosterone (CORT) were determined with ELISA. The sucrose preference test (SPT) and the forced swim test (FST) were used to assess the depressive-like behavior. The expression level of interleukin-1α (IL-1α) and matrix metalloproteinases-3 (MMP-3) were determined by Immunohistochemistry and Western blot. Results At the end of 8 weeks of CUMS, the serum levels of CORT and ACTH were significantly higher in stress group compared with control group (P0.05) and higher expression of MMP-3 comparing with the control group (P0.05). The condylar collagen fibers increased and showed a corrugated pattern, and no serious subchondral bone damage as well as irreversible damage occurred. Both of the expression levels of IL-1α and MMP-3 approached those of the control group after 8 weeks of stress removal (P>0.05). Conclusion The behavioral changes and condylar cartilage damage caused by CUMS could be self-repaired. The decline in IL-1α and MMP-3 expression may be one of the intrinsic mechanisms of this self-repair process.

BaTiO3 thin films emerge as a highly promising material platform for integrated photonics due to their outstanding electro‐optic properties and diverse functionalities. Despite extensive studies, there remains a notable gap in the understanding of the intricate relationship between the phase structure, domain switching kinetics and electro‐optic performance of these materials. By controlling the structural phase evolution, it is possible to gain deep insights into the physical mechanisms underlying the electro‐optic performance. Here, the phase constitution of BaTiO3 epitaxial thin films is successfully tuned by the insertion of a GdScO3 buffer layer. Continuous polarization rotation paths are observed from an out‐of‐plane tetragonal‐like phase, to an intermediate rhombohedral‐like phase, and finally an in‐plane tetragonal‐like phase, achieving an enhanced effective electro‐optic coefficient of 175 pm V−1 compared to unbuffered films. Furthermore, by in situ second harmonic generation microscopy and electro‐optic measurements, the domain switching behaviors in both statistical and spatially resolved manners are examined, resulting in a clear delineation of the key domain nucleation processes. The in‐depth explorations of these structural mechanisms and kinetics inform the rational design of strong electro‐optic thin films and help in the realization of high‐performance integrated photonic devices such as electro‐optic modulators and multilevel phase shifters. Aluminum hydride (AlH3), as a potential new metal fuel, has attracted extensive attention in the field of hydrogen storage materials, propellants and energetic materials due to its excellent properties. In this paper, a new organic liquid phase reduction method was used to prepare AlH3, and the microstructure and composition of the prepared samples were characterized by SEM–EDS, XRD, FT-IR, XPS, etc. The main crystal phase of the prepared AlH3 was α-AlH3, with high quality and no other impurities. The thermal decomposition behavior and non-isothermal reaction kinetics of AlH3 were investigated by TG-DSC. The results show that there are three exothermic stages in the heating process of AlH3: dehydrogenation of AlH3, first oxidation of Al, and second oxidation of Al. The activation energy of the dehydrogenation of AlH3 is 77.8675 kJ/mol (Kissinger method) and 81.4862 kJ/mol (Ozawa method), respectively. The morphology evolution of AlH3 particles during the heating process (300–3000 K) was simulated using a reaction kinetics method based on the ReaxFF force field. The response behavior of AlH3 in the instantaneous high-temperature detonation environment was investigated using the high-energy laser-induced shock wave technique. Under the impact of a high-energy laser (1006 mJ), the AlH3 sample undergoes an ultra-fast reaction and generates a large amount of plasma. The expansion of the plasma pushes the surrounding air to form a supersonic shock wave and propagates forward. The shock wave propagation velocity of AlH3 is 690.99 m/s in the range of 2.1–12.35 μs, and the higher the laser energy, the faster the shock wave propagation velocity.
