The high penetration of distributed photovoltaics (PV) in distribution networks (DNs) results in voltage violations, imbalances, and flickers, leading to significant disruptions in DN stability. To address this issue, this paper proposes a multi-timescale voltage regulation approach that involves the coordinated control of a step voltage regulator (SVR), switched capacitor (SC), battery energy storage system (BESS), and electric vehicle (EV) across different timescales. During the day-ahead stage, the proposed method utilizes artificial hummingbird algorithm optimization-based least squares support vector machine (AHA-LSSVM) forecasting to predict the PV output, enabling the formulation of a day-ahead schedule for SVR and SC adjustments to maintain the voltage and voltage unbalance factor (VUF) within the limits. In the intra-day stage, a novel floating voltage threshold band (FVTB) control strategy is introduced to refine the day-ahead schedule, enhancing the voltage quality while reducing the erratic operation of SVR and SC under dead band control. For real-time operation, the African vulture optimization algorithm (AVOA) is employed to optimize the BESS output for precise voltage regulation. Additionally, a novel smoothing fluctuation threshold band (SFTB) control strategy and an initiate charging and discharging strategy (ICD) for the BESS are proposed to effectively smooth voltage fluctuations and expand the BESS capacity. To enhance user-side participation and optimize the BESS capacity curtailment, some BESSs are replaced by EVs for voltage regulation. Finally, a simulation conducted on a modified IEEE 33 system validates the efficacy of the proposed voltage regulation strategy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Streptomycin-resistant (SM-resistant) Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. tuberculosis) is a major concern in tuberculosis (TB) treatment. However, the mechanisms underlying streptomycin resistance remain unclear. This study primarily aimed to perform preliminary screening of genes associated with streptomycin resistance through conjoint analysis of multiple genomics. Genome-wide methylation, transcriptome, and proteome analyses were used to elucidate the associations between specific genes and streptomycin resistance in M. tuberculosis H37Rv. Methylation analysis revealed that 188 genes were differentially methylated between the SM-resistant and normal groups, with 89 and 99 genes being hypermethylated and hypomethylated, respectively. Furthermore, functional analysis revealed that these 188 differentially methylated genes were enriched in 74 pathways, with most of them being enriched in metabolic pathways. Transcriptome analysis revealed that 516 genes were differentially expressed between the drug-resistant and normal groups, with 263 and 253 genes being significantly upregulated and downregulated, respectively. KEGG analysis indicated that these 516 genes were enriched in 79 pathways, with most of them being enriched in histidine metabolism. The methylation level was negatively related to mRNA abundance. Proteome analysis revealed 56 differentially expressed proteins, including 14 upregulated and 42 downregulated proteins. Moreover, three hub genes (coaE, fadE5, and mprA) were obtained using synthetic analysis. The findings of this study suggest that an integrated DNA methylation, transcriptome, and proteome analysis can provide important resources for epigenetic studies in SM-resistant M. tuberculosis H37Rv. At present, the mainstream cyber security systems are laid out in an alienated style, where security functions are separated from business processes, and security products are isolated from each other. It is difficult to effectively cope with increasingly complicated cyber threats in this architecture. Therefore, it is imperative to move security inward for more resilient and secure network infrastructures. Business scenarios of the cybersecurity sector can be categorized into four perspectives: organization, vendor, regulatory and threat, each of which has different business objectives. Starting from the commonness and individuality of the four perspectives, the needs of this sector was systematically summarized and then the goal of building an extensible cybersecurity capability ecosystem was recognized. As the key to this goal, the intrinsic assurance methodology was proposed. Intrinsic assurance capabilities referred to the abilities of ICT components to natively support security functions such as monitoring, protection and traceability. But intrinsic assurance is not the ultimate security implementation itself, which is a key difference from the existing "endogenous security" or "designed-in security" methodologies. Intrinsic assurance emphasizes the inherent security enabling endowment of network components, whether by activating an innate gift or by encapsulating a given one, both of which logically exhibit autoimmunity from an external viewpoint. One advantage of such a component is the cohesion of business and security, which leads to transparent security posture awareness, customized security policies, and close-fitting security protection. It also simplifies the overall engineering architecture and reduces management complexity through encapsulation of multiple functions into a singleton. Additionally, the Intrinsic Assurance Support Capability Framework was put forward, which summarized and enumerated the security capabilities that conformed to the intrinsic assurance concept. This framework classified the security capabilities into five categories, namely collection, cognition, execution, syndication and resilience respectively, together with their sub-types and underlying ICT technologies.
