Comprehensive Summary: Macrocyclic compounds are of great interest for their ability to capture guest molecules into their cavities. In particular, host‐guest interaction plays a crucial role in the formation of supramolecular compounds. Herein, two host‐guest supramolecular compounds, [Al8(OH)8(L)16]·2HL (HL@AlOC‐166, HL = 4‐Iodobenzoic acid) and [Al8(OH)8(L)8(L1)8]·2DMF (DMF@AlOC‐166, HL1 = isoamyl alcohol), are acquired by introducing different types of guest components based on the internal pore cavities of the aluminum molecular ring [Al8(OH)8(L)16] (AlOC‐166). The inclusion of these guests is attributed to the presence of abundant hydrophilic OH serving as the hydrogen bond donors inward the ring cavity. Host‐guest compounds usually exhibit superior nonlinear optical (NLO) response due to the existence of guest molecules that could change symmetry, dipole moments, charge distributions, etc. Unexpectedly, the AlOC‐166 achieved the best NLO results, although it had no guest molecules inside its molecular ring, which breaks the traditional concept. The reason for this trend can be explained by the difference in intermolecular force rather than intramolecular interaction, mainly related to the amount and strength of π···π and C—I···π interactions in different compounds. Vitexin (VTX), a C-glycosylated flavone found in various medicinal herbs, is known for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective properties. This study investigated the protective effects of VTX against orofacial dyskinesia (OD) in rats, induced by haloperidol (HPD), along with the neuroprotective mechanisms underlying these effects. OD was induced by administering HPD (1 mg/kg i.p.) to rats for 21 days, which led to an increase in the frequency of vacuous chewing movements (VCMs) and tongue protrusion (TP). VTX (10 and 30 mg/kg) was given intraperitoneally 60 min after each HPD injection during the same period. On the 21st day, following assessments of OD, the rats were sacrificed, and nitrosative and oxidative stress, antioxidant capacity, mitochondrial function, neuroinflammation, and apoptosis markers in the striatum were measured. HPD effectively induced OD, while VTX significantly reduced HPD-induced OD, decreased oxidative stress, enhanced antioxidant capacity, prevented mitochondrial dysfunction, and reduced neuroinflammatory and apoptotic markers in the striatum, and the protective effects of VTX on both behavioral and biochemical aspects of HPD-induced OD were significantly reduced when trigonelline (TGN), an inhibitor of the nuclear factor erythroid-2-related factor 2 (Nrf2)-mediated pathway, was administered. These findings suggest that VTX provides neuroprotection against HPD-induced OD, potentially through the Nrf2 pathway, indicating its potential as a therapeutic candidate for the prevention or treatment of tardive dyskinesia (TD) in clinical settings. The integration of anionic Ti4L6 (L = embonate) cages and π-conjugated coordination cations into ordered structures can produce high-performance nonlinear optical (NLO) materials. More specifically, by employing Ti4L6 cages for assembly with mixed N,N-chelated and P,P-chelated type conjugated organic ligands and Ag+ ions, three cage-based structures have been synthesized and structurally characterized. Among them, an ion pair structure with strong π–π accumulation exhibits a significant third-order NLO response, and an excellent optical limiting effect has been experimentally verified. The development of new metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) thin films is important for expanding their functions and applications. Herein, we first report a new kind of MOF thin film by using aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) dicarboxyl ligand through a liquid‐phase epitaxial (LPE) layer‐by‐layer (LBL) spraying method (named AIE surface‐coordinated metal‐organic frameworks thin film, AIE‐SURMOF). The obtained AIE‐SURMOF Zn4O(TPE)3 (ZnTPE) has highly growth orientation and homogeneous thin film, showing strong fluorescent property. Furthermore, by loading chiral guest in the MOF pore, the formed chiral encapsulated AIE‐SURMOF can clearly indicate obvious circularly polarized luminescence performance with glum of 0.01. Encapsulated cell therapy (ECT) shows significant potential for treating neurodegenerative disorders including Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, which currently lack curative medicines and must be managed symptomatically. This novel technique encapsulates functional cells with a semi‐permeable membrane, providing protection while enabling critical nutrients and therapeutic substances to pass through. Traditional ECT procedures, on the other hand, pose difficulties in terms of cell survival and retrieval. We introduce the Microtube Array Membrane (MTAM), a revolutionary technology that solves these constraints, in this comprehensive overview. Microtube Array Membrane has distinct microstructures that improve encapsulated cells' long‐term viability by combining the advantages of macro and micron scales. Importantly, the MTAM platform improves biosafety by allowing the entire encapsulated unit to be retrieved in the event of an adverse reaction. Our findings show that MTAM‐based ECT has a great potential in a variety of illness situations. For cancer treatment, hybridoma cells secreting anti‐CEACAM 6 antibodies inhibit triple‐negative breast cancer cell lines for an extended period of time. In animal brain models of Alzheimer's disease, hybridoma cells secreting anti‐pTau antibodies successfully reduce pTau buildup, accompanied by improvements in memory performance. In mouse models, MTAM‐encapsulated primary cardiac mesenchymal stem cells dramatically improve overall survival and heart function. These findings illustrate the efficacy and adaptability of MTAM‐based ECT in addressing major issues such as immunological isolation, cell viability, and patient safety. We provide new possibilities for the treatment of neurodegenerative illnesses and other conditions by combining the potential of ECT with MTAM. Herein, the combination of anionic Zr4L6 (L = embonate) cages and N, N-chelated transition-metal cations leads to a series of new cage-based architectures, including ion pair structures (PTC-355 and PTC-356), dimer (PTC-357), and 3D frameworks (PTC-358 and PTC-359). Structural analyses show that PTC-358 exhibits a 2-fold interpenetrating framework with a 3,4-connected topology, and PTC-359 shows a 2-fold interpenetrating framework with a 4-connected dia network. Both PTC-358 and PTC-359 can be stable in air and other common solvents at room temperature. The investigations of third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) properties indicate that these materials show different degrees of optical limiting effects. It is surprising that increasing coordination interactions between anion and cation moieties can effectively enhance their third-order NLO properties, which can be attributed to the formation of coordination bonds that facilitate charge transfer. In addition, the phase purity, UV-vis spectra, and photocurrent properties of these materials were also studied. This work provides new ideas for the construction of third-order NLO materials.
