The impact of nitrogen and phosphorus deposition alternations, as well as apoplastic litter quality and quantity, on soil nutrient cycling and soil carbon pool processes in forest ecosystems is of considerable importance. Soil ecological enzyme chemistry is a powerful tool for elucidating the nutrient limitations of microbial growth and metabolic processes. In order to explore the responding mechanisms of soil ecological enzyme chemistry to the simultaneous changes in apoplast input and nitrogen and phosphorus deposition in temperate coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forests, an outdoor simulating experiment was conducted. The results demonstrate that the treatments involving apoplastic material and nitrogen and phosphorus additions had significantly impacted soil nutrient levels across different forest types. Apoplastic treatments and N-P additions had a significant effect on the soil total organic carbon (TOC), dissolved organic carbon (DOC), soil total soluble nitrogen (TSN), soil available phosphorus (SAP), soil total nitrogen (TN), soil total phosphorus (TP), and microbial biomass carbon (MBC). However, the effects on soil microbial biomass (MBN) and microbial biomass phosphorus (MBP) were insignificant. The apomictic treatments with N and P addition did not result in a statistically significant change in soil C-hydrolase activities (β-1,4-glucosidase BG, β-1,4-xylosidase BX, cellobiohydrolase CBH, phenol oxidase POX, and peroxidase PER), N-hydrolase activities (β-1,4-N-acetylglucosaminidase NAG and L-leucine aminopeptidase LAP), or P-hydrolase activities (Acid phosphatase AP). Although the apomictic treatments did not yield a significant overall impact on carbon hydrolase activity, they influenced the activity of specific enzymes, such as CBH, LAP, and PER, to varying degrees. The effects on BG, BX, CBH, AP, and C-hydrolase activities were significant for different stand types. The impact of apomictic treatments and N-P additions on soil nitrogen hydrolase activities was inconsequential with a minimal interactive effect. The highest correlation between PER, LAP, and N-hydrolase activities was observed in conjunction with elevated levels of nitrogen and phosphorus addition (N3L0, original litter treatment, and high amounts of N and P addition). (1) Background--With the implementation of the natural forests total stop-logging policy, the wood raw materials provided by the state-owned forest areas in Northeast China are not enough to support the normal production of wood processing enterprises. The concentration of log and sawn timber import market in the state-owned forest area of Northeast China is too high, and the import market is mainly Russia, the United States, Canada and New Zealand. With the intensification of international trade conflicts in timber forest products, Russia, Turkey, India and other countries have restricted the export of timber resources through tariff and non-tariff measures. Different types of wood processing enterprises, especially the state-owned wood processing enterprises are facing many difficulties and need to explore the transformation strategy. (2) Methods--In this paper, private wood processing enterprises and some forestry bureaus in the stateowned forest areas of Northeast China were used as research objects and 76 valid questionnaires and 20 audio interviews were obtained by using cross-cycle and multi-level investigation methods. Firstly, the audio was converted into text data, and Nvivo12. 0 software was used for word cloud analysis based on the rooted coding theory. In this study, only concepts related to the subject of constraints on the imported timber resources were proposed. Finally, the transformation strategies of wood processing enterprises in the state-owned forest areas of Northeast China was studied and analyzed by using the modeling logic diagram formed by the above data. (3) Results--First, three core categories of resource constraints, cost control and transformation strategies are extracted from the interview records according to the coding results. Resource constraints are the core factor that affect enterprise transformation. Solving resource constraints is conducive to cost control, thus promoting enterprise transformation from different angles. Second, the restrictions on wood imports in international laws and bans and the continuous improvement of domestic ecological sustainable development and construction have led to the gradual deepening of the constraint degree of wood resources on wood processing enterprises. Third, due to the scarcity of resources, the increase in production costs such as procurement costs, storage costs and financing costs of wood raw materials brought about by enterprise production reduces the market price advantage of products and increases the operating pressure and risk of enterprises. Fourth, after the implementation of the natural forests stop-logging policy, the resource constraints in the state-owned forest areas of Northeast China is still at a higher level on the whole, although it is lower than the two crisis periods. (4) Conclusions and Discussions--The transformation paths of enterprises are analyzed from three aspects: diversified development, digital development and marketization development. Several policy recommendations are put forward for different types of wood processing enterprises: First, the wood processing enterprises that rely heavily on wood imports should actively carry out the construction of transportation networks to save transportation costs. Second, the state-owned wood processing enterprises should drive the main business with diversified management and guide the intervention of non-forestry capital to stimulate innovation. Third, small and medium-sized, primary wood processing enterprises should pay attention to improving the degree of agglomeration, in order to play the advantages of cluster. Fourth, wood-based panel processing enterprises and wood products processing enterprises should adopt digital means and integrate intelligent manufacturing in order to improve product quality on the basis of sustainable development. Fifth, the private wood processing enterprises should find the right market positioning based on public demands, in order to improve added value of products and market competitiveness and promote the steady development of enterprises. Stroke is one of the leading causes of death. (D-ala2, D-leu5) enkephalin (DADLE) is a synthetic peptide and highly selective delta opioid receptor (δOR) agonist that has exhibited protective properties in ischemia. However, the specific target and mechanism are still unclear. The present study explores the expression of δOR on brain microvascular endothelial cells (BMECs) and whether DADLE could relieve I/R-induced injury by reducing apoptosis. A lateral ventricular injection of DADLE for pretreatment, the neurofunctional behavior score, and TTC staining, were used to evaluate the protective effect of DADLE. Immunofluorescence technology was used to label different types of cells with apoptosis-positive signals to test co-localization status. Primary cultured BMECs were separated and treated with DADLE, accompanied by OGD/R. The CCK-8 test was conducted to evaluate cell viability and TdT-mediated dUTP Nick-end Labelling (TUNEL) staining to test apoptosis levels. The levels of apoptosis-related proteins were analyzed by Western blotting. The co-localization results showed that BMECs, but not astrocytes, microglia, or neurons, presented mostly TUNEL-positive signals, especially in the Dentate gyrus (DG) area of the hippocampus. Either activation of δORs on rats' brains or primary BMECs mainly reduce cellular apoptosis and relieve the injury. Interference with the expression δOR could block this effect. DADLE also significantly increased levels of Bcl-2 and reduced levels of Bax. δOR's expressions can be detected on the BMECs, but not on the HEK293 cells, by Western blotting and IFC. Therefore, DADLE exerts a cytoprotective effect, primarily under hypoxia-ischemic injury/reperfusion conditions, by targeting BMECs to inhibit apoptosis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Smart and interactive textiles have been attracted great attention in recent years. This research explored three different techniques and processes in developing textile-based conductive coils that are able to embed in a garment layer. Coils made through embroidery and screen printing have good dimensional stability, although the resistance of screen printed coil is too high due to the low conductivity of the print ink. Laser cut coil provided the best electrical conductivity; however, the disadvantage of this method is that it is very difficult to keep the completed coil to the predetermined shape and dimension. The tested results show that an electromagnetic field has been generated between the textile-based conductive coil and an external coil that is directly powered by electricity. The magnetic field and electric field worked simultaneously to complete the wireless charging process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
