Abstract

In this paper, we study a general almost Schur Lemma on pseudo-Hermitian (2n+1)-manifolds $(M,J,\theta)$ for $n\geq2$. When the equality of almost Schur inequality holds, we derive the contact form $\theta$ is pseudo-Einstein and the pseudo-Hermitian scalar curvature is constant.

3. Liouville properties for p-harmonic maps with finite q-energy

Abstract

We introduce and study an approximate solution of the p-Laplace equation, and a linearlization $L_{\epsilon}$ of a perturbed p-Laplace operator. By deriving an $L_{\epsilon}$-type Bochner's formula and a Kato type inequality, we prove a Liouville type theorem for weakly p-harmonic functions with finite p-energy on a complete noncompact manifold M which supports a weighted Poincar\'{e} inequality and satisfies a curvature assumption. This nonexistence result, when combined with an existence theorem, yields in turn some information on topology, i.e. such an M has at most one p-hyperbolic end. Moreover, we prove a Liouville type theorem for strongly p-harmonic functions with finite q-energy on Riemannian manifolds, where the range for q contains p. As an application, we extend this theorem to some p-harmonic maps such as p-harmonic morphisms and conformal maps between Riemannian manifolds., Comment: This paper will appear in Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, 2016

15. Dimension estimate of polynomial growth harmonic forms

Abstract

Let Hpl(M) be the space of polynomial growth harmonic forms. We proved that the dimension of such spaces must be finite and can be estimated if the metric is uniformly equivalent to one with a nonnegative curvature operator. In particular, this implies that the space of harmonic forms of fixed growth order on the Euclidean space with any periodic metric must be finite dimensional.

Abstract

Abstract: Liquid–liquid equilibrium (LLE) data have been measured for one ternary system of water+ N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone+1-pentanol, and three quaternary systems of water+ N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone+1-pentanol+sodium chloride, +potassium chloride, or +potassium acetate at temperatures 283.15 and 323.15K under atmospheric pressure. The liquid-phase splitting for ternary system of water+ N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone+1-pentanol can be enhanced by adding the same percentage of salts (sodium chloride, potassium chloride, or potassium acetate) and the influence follows the order of sodium chloride>potassium chloride>potassium acetate. The experimental data were also compared with the values calculated by the Electrolyte-NRTL model. In general, the model reproduces reasonably for the LLE phase diagrams. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
