1. An even-parity precession protocol for detecting nonclassicality and entanglement

Abstract

We introduce an even-parity precession protocol that can detect nonclassicality of some quantum states using only measurements of a uniformly-precessing variable at different points in time. Depending on the system under study, the protocol may detect the Wigner negativity of a single quantum harmonic oscillator or of a single spin $j\geq 2$; the non-Gaussian entanglement of two harmonic oscillators; or genuine multipartite entanglement of a spin ensemble, whose total spin is integer. Unlike other nonclassicality tests, simultaneous or sequential measurements are not required. Our protocol can also detect states that commute with the parity operator, which were missed by similar protocols built from Tsirelson's original precession protocol. This work also closes a long-standing gap by showing the possibility of detecting the Greenberger--Horne--Zeilinger entanglement of an even number of qubits using only collective spin measurements., Comment: 11 pages, 8 figures

Abstract

Synthesizing many-body interaction Hamiltonian is a central task in quantum simulation. However, it is challenging to synthesize interactions including more than two spins. Borrowing tools from quantum optics, we synthesize five-body spin-exchange interaction in a superconducting quantum circuit by simultaneously exciting four independent qubits with time-energy correlated photon quadruples generated from a qudit. During the dynamic evolution of the five-body interaction, a Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger state is generated in a single step with fidelity estimated to be $0.685$. We compare the influence of noise on the three-, four- and five-body interaction as a step toward answering the question on the quantum origin of chiral molecules. We also demonstrate a many-body Mach-Zehnder interferometer which potentially has a Heisenberg-limit sensitivity. 15. Vaccination status of non-national immunization program vaccines in Changning District of Shanghai 2016‒2020

Abstract

ObjectiveTo understand the vaccination situation of non-national immunization program （non-NIP） vaccines in Changning District， and to provide evidence for further strengthening the management of vaccination services and guiding community health service centers to construct vaccination clinics for children and adults.MethodsNumber of non-NIP vaccine doses in community health service centers， Changning District， was collected from Shanghai Immunization Information System from 2016 to 2020. Descriptive epidemiological analysis was conducted.ResultsIn 2020， the overall number of non-NIP vaccine doses， proportion of non-NIP vaccine doses and average number of non-NIP vaccine doses in the community health service centers， Changning District， reached up to 115 361 doses， 63.41% and 1 664.54 per 10 000 persons， respectively. Furthermore， the proportion of non-NIP vaccine doses showed a significantly upward trend （χtrend2=131.110， P18 years. Human papillomavirus vaccines （HPV） and influenza vaccines （InfV） had the highest increase in vaccine doses. Additionally， non-NIP vaccination peaked from September to December in adults.ConclusionAlong with the number of non-NIP vaccine doses increase， it is necessary to strengthen the management of non-NIP vaccination and explore effective measures for construction of adult vaccination clinics to meet the public demand for vaccination.

23. Coverage and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines among people aged 60 years and above in Changning District of Shanghai

Abstract

ObjectiveTo assess the coverage and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines in the elderly.MethodsThis study was conducted in Changning District of Shanghai， targeting people aged 60 years and above. Vaccination data between 21 December 2020 and 28 February 2022 was retrieved from the Shanghai Collective Immunization System. Information on confirmed cases of COVID-19 from March 2022 through May 2022 was collected from the National Notifiable Diseases Reporting System. Vaccine effectiveness was calculated using the screening method.ResultsAs of 28 February 2022， 69.89% of people aged ≥60 years had received ≥1-dose vaccine， 63.80% had received full primary vaccination and 31.91% had received a booster dose. Vaccination coverage declined over age， with the lowest coverage in the elderly aged ≥80 years. Moreover， COVID-19 vaccination provided the highest protection against severe/critical illness and death due to the Omicron variants in the elderly aged ≥60 years. Full primary vaccination showed 96.15%（95%CI：84.15‒99.06）of vaccine effectiveness and booster vaccination showed 100% of the effectiveness against severe/critical COVID-19 and death.ConclusionsFull primary and booster vaccination coverage in the elderly is low， especially in those aged 80 and above. Our study finds high protection against COVID-19 associated severe/critical illness and death from both full primary and booster vaccination of inactivated COVID-19 vaccines in the elderly aged ≥60 years.

50. Accuracy of immediate dental implant placement with task‐autonomous robotic system and navigation system: An in vitro study.

Abstract

Objectives: The aim of this study was to compare the accuracy of dental implant placement in a single tooth gap, including the postextraction site and healed site, using a task‐autonomous robotic system and a dynamic navigation system. Materials and Methods: Forty partially edentulous models requiring both immediate and conventional implant placement were randomly divided into a robotic system group and a navigation system group. The coronal, apical, and angular deviations of the implants were measured and assessed between the groups. Results: The deviations in immediate implant placement were compared between the robotic system and dynamic navigation system groups, showing a mean (±SD) coronal deviation of 0.86 ± 0.36 versus 0.70 ± 0.21 mm (p =.101), a mean apical deviation of 0.77 ± 0.34 versus 0.95 ± 0.38 mm (p =.127), and a mean angular deviation of 1.94 ± 0.66° versus 3.44 ± 1.38° (p <.001). At the healed site, significantly smaller coronal deviation (0.46 ± 0.29 vs. 0.70 ± 0.30 mm, p =.005), apical deviation (0.56 ± 0.30 vs. 0.85 ± 0.25 mm, p <.001), and angular deviation (1.36 ± 0.54 vs. 1.80 ± 0.70 mm, p =.034) were found in the robotic system group than in the dynamic navigation group. Conclusions: The position in both immediate and conventional implant placement was more precise with the task‐autonomous robotic system than with the dynamic navigation system.
